Lecture Arabic	6 لِذـلِكَ أُذَكِّرُكَ أَنْ تُذَكِّيَ مَوهِبَةَ اللهِ الـَّتي فِيكَ بِوَضْعِ يَدَيَّ. 7 فَإِنَّ اللهَ لَمْ يُعْطِنَا رُوحَ الـخَوْف، بَلْ رُوحَ القُوَّةِ والـمَحَبَّةِ والاعْتِدَال. 8 فلا تَسْتَحْيِ بِشَهَادَةِ رَبِّنَا، ولا بِي أَنَا أَسِيرَهُ، بَلْ شَارِكْنِي في احْتِمَالِ الْمَشَقَّاتِ مِنْ أَجْلِ الإِنْجِيل، مُتَقَوِّيًا بِالله، 9 الَّذي خَلَّصَنَا ودَعَانَا دَعْوَةً مُقَدَّسَة، لا وَفْقًا لأَعْمَالِنَا بَلْ وَفْقًا لِقَصْدِهِِ هُوَ ونِعْمَتِهِ، الَّتي وُهِبَتْ لَنَا في الـمَسِيحِ يَسُوع، قَبْلَ الأَزْمِنَةِ الدَّهْرِيَّة. 10 لـكِنَّهَا أُعْلِنَتِ الآنَ بِظُهُورِ مُخَلِّصِنَا الْمَسِيحِ يَسُوع، الَّذي أَبْطَلَ الْمَوْت، فأَنَارَ الـحَيَاةَ وعَدَمَ الفَسَادِ بَوَاسِطَةِ الإِنْجِيل، 11 الَّذي جُعِلْتُ أَنَا لَهُ مُبَشِّرًا ورَسُولاً ومُعَلِّمًا. 12 ولِذـلِكَ أَحْتَمِلُ هـذِهِ الْمَشَقَّاتِ أَيْضًا، لـكِنِّي لا أَسْتَحْيِي، لأَنِّي عَالِمٌ بِمَنْ آمَنْتُ ووَاثِقٌ أَنَّهُ قَدِيرٌ أَنْ يَحفَظَ لي وَدِيعَتِي إِلى ذـلِكَ اليَوم. 13 لِيَكُنِ الكَلامُ الصَّحِيحُ الَّذي سَمِعْتَهُ مِنِّي مِثَالاً لَكَ في الإِيْمَانِ والـمَحَبَّةِ الَّتي في الـمَسِيحِ يَسُوع. 14 إِحْفَظِ الوَدِيعَةَ الصَّالِحَةَ بِالرُّوحِ القُدُسِ الـحَالِّ فينَا.
Evangile Arabic	33 وكانَ يَسُوعُ يُخَاطِبُهُم بِكَلِمَةِ الله، في أَمْثَالٍ كَثِيرَةٍ كَهـذِهِ، عَلَى قَدْرِ مَا كَانُوا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ أَنْ يَسْمَعُوا. 34 وبِدُونِ مَثَلٍ لَمْ يَكُنْ يُكَلِّمُهُم. لـكِنَّهُ كانَ يُفَسِّرُ كُلَّ شَيءٍ لِتَلامِيذِهِ عَلَى انْفِرَاد. 35 وفي مَسَاءِ ذـلِكَ اليَوْم، قالَ يَسُوعُ لِتَلامِيذِهِ: "لِنَعْبُرْ إِلى الضَّفَّةِ الأُخْرَى". 36 فتَرَكَ التَّلامِيذُ الـجَمْعَ، وأَخَذُوا يَسُوعَ مَعَهُم في السَّفِينَة، وكَانَتْ سُفُنٌ أُخْرَى تَتْبَعُهُ. 37 وهَبَّتْ عَاصِفَةُ ريحٍ شَدِيدَة، فانْدَفَعَتِ الأَمْواجُ عَلى السَّفينَة، حَتَّى أَوْشَكَتِ السَّفِينَةُ أَنْ تَمْتَلِئ. 38 وكانَ يَسُوعُ نَائِمًا عَلى الوِسَادَةِ في مُؤَخَّرِ السَّفينَة، فَأَيْقَظُوهُ وقَالُوا لَهُ: "يا مُعَلِّم، أَلا تُبَالي؟ فنَحْنُ نَهْلِك!". 39 فقَامَ وزَجَرَ الرِّيحَ وقَالَ لِلْبَحْر: "أُسْكُتْ! إِهْدَأْ!". فسَكَنَتِ الرِّيحُ، وحَدَثَ هُدُوءٌ عَظِيم. 40 ثُمَّ قالَ لِتَلاميذِهِ: "لِمَاذَا أَنْتُم خائِفُونَ هـكَذا؟ كَيْفَ لا تُؤْمِنُون؟". 41 فخَافُوا خَوْفًا عظيمًا، وقَالُوا بَعْضُهُم لِبَعْض: "مَنْ هُوَ هـذا، حَتَّى يُطِيعَهُ البَحْرُ نَفْسُهُ والرِّيح؟".

Lecture French	06 Voilà pourquoi, je te le rappelle, ravive le don gratuit de Dieu, ce don qui est en toi depuis que je t’ai imposé les mains. 07 Car ce n’est pas un esprit de peur que Dieu nous a donné, mais un esprit de force, d’amour et de pondération. 08 N’aie donc pas honte de rendre témoignage à notre Seigneur, et n’aie pas honte de moi, qui suis son prisonnier ; mais, avec la force de Dieu, prends ta part des souffrances liées à l’annonce de l’Évangile. 09 Car Dieu nous a sauvés, il nous a appelés à une vocation sainte, non pas à cause de nos propres actes, mais à cause de son projet à lui et de sa grâce. Cette grâce nous avait été donnée dans le Christ Jésus avant tous les siècles, 10 et maintenant elle est devenue visible, car notre Sauveur, le Christ Jésus, s’est manifesté : il a détruit la mort, et il a fait resplendir la vie et l’immortalité par l’annonce de l’Évangile, 11 pour lequel j’ai reçu la charge de messager, d’apôtre et d’enseignant. 12 Et c’est pour cette raison que je souffre ainsi ; mais je n’en ai pas honte, car je sais en qui j’ai cru, et j’ai la conviction qu’il est assez puissant pour sauvegarder, jusqu’au jour de sa venue, le dépôt de la foi qu’il m’a confié. 13 Tiens-toi au modèle donné par les paroles solides que tu m’as entendu prononcer dans la foi et dans l’amour qui est dans le Christ Jésus. 14 Garde le dépôt de la foi dans toute sa beauté, avec l’aide de l’Esprit Saint qui habite en nous.
Evangile French	33 Par de nombreuses paraboles semblables, Jésus leur annonçait la Parole, dans la mesure où ils étaient capables de l’entendre. 34 Il ne leur disait rien sans parabole, mais il expliquait tout à ses disciples en particulier. 35 Ce jour-là, le soir venu, il dit à ses disciples : « Passons sur l’autre rive. » 36 Quittant la foule, ils emmenèrent Jésus, comme il était, dans la barque, et d’autres barques l’accompagnaient. 37 Survient une violente tempête. Les vagues se jetaient sur la barque, si bien que déjà elle se remplissait. 38 Lui dormait sur le coussin à l’arrière. Les disciples le réveillent et lui disent : « Maître, nous sommes perdus ; cela ne te fait rien ? » 39 Réveillé, il menaça le vent et dit à la mer : « Silence, tais-toi ! » Le vent tomba, et il se fit un grand calme. 40 Jésus leur dit : « Pourquoi êtes-vous si craintifs ? N’avez-vous pas encore la foi ? » 41 Saisis d’une grande crainte, ils se disaient entre eux : « Qui est-il donc, celui-ci, pour que même le vent et la mer lui obéissent ? »

Lecture English	6 For this reason, I remind you to stir into flame the gift of God* that you have through the imposition of my hands.d 7 For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice but rather of power and love and self-control.e 8 So do not be ashamed of your testimony to our Lord,* nor of me, a prisoner for his sake; but bear your share of hardship for the gospel with the strength that comes from God.f 9 * He saved us and called us to a holy life, not according to our works but according to his own design and the grace bestowed on us in Christ Jesus before time began,g 10 but now made manifest through the appearance of our savior Christ Jesus, who destroyed death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,h 11 * for which I was appointed preacher and apostlei and teacher. 12 * On this account I am suffering these things; but I am not ashamed,j for I know him in whom I have believed and am confident that he is able to guard what has been entrusted to me until that day. 13 Take as your norm the sound words that you heard from me, in the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.k 14 Guard this rich trust with the help of the holy Spirit that dwells within us.l
Evangile English	33 With many such parablesl he spoke the word to them as they were able to understand it. 34 Without parables he did not speak to them, but to his own disciples he explained everything in private. The Calming of a Storm at Sea. 35 * On that day, as evening drew on, he said to them, “Let us cross to the other side.”m 36 Leaving the crowd, they took him with them in the boat just as he was. And other boats were with him. 37 A violent squall came up and waves were breaking over the boat, so that it was already filling up. 38 Jesus was in the stern, asleep on a cushion. They woke him and said to him, “Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?” 39 He woke up, rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Quiet! Be still!”* The wind ceased and there was great calm. 40 Then he asked them, “Why are you terrified? Do you not yet have faith?” 41 * n They were filled with great awe and said to one another, “Who then is this whom even wind and sea obey?”
