Lecture Arabic	11 ولَمَّا قَدِمَ كِيفَا إِلى أَنْطَاكِيَة، قَاوَمْتُهُ مُوَاجَهَةً، لأَنَّهُ كَانَ يَسْتَحِقُّ اللَّوْم. 12 فقَبْلَ أَنْ يَجِيءَ أُنَاسٌ مِن عِنْدِ يَعْقُوب، كَانَ يُؤَاكِلُ الوَثَنِيِّين. وَلَمَّا جَاؤُوا أَخَذَ يَنْسَحِبُ ويَتَنَحَّى، خَوْفًا مِن أَهْلِ الـخِتَانَة. 13 وجَارَاهُ سَائِرُ اليَهُودِ في مُحَابَاتِهِ، حتَّى بَرْنَابَا نَفسُهُ انْجَرَّ بِمُحَابَاتِهِم. 14 ولـكِنْ لَمَّا رَأَيْتُ أَنَّهُم لا يَسْلُكُونَ مَسْلَكًا مُستَقِيمًا، بِحَسَبِ حَقِيقَةِ الإِنْجِيل، قُلْتُ لكِيفَا أَمَامَ الـجَمِيع: "إِنْ كُنْتَ، وأَنْتَ يَهُودِيّ، تَعِيشُ كَالأُمَمِ لا كَاليَهُود، فَكَيفَ تُلْزِمُ الأُمَمَ أَنْ يَعيشُوا كَاليَهُود؟". 15 نَحْنُ بِالطَّبِيعَةِ يَهُود، لا خَطَأَةٌ مِنَ الأُمَم. 16 ولـكِنَّنَا نَعْلَمُ أَنَّ الإِنْسَانَ لا يُبَرَّرُ بأَعْمَالِ الشَّريعَة، بَلْ بِالإِيْمَانِ بيَسُوعَ الـمَسِيح. لِذ,لِكَ آمَنَّا نَحْنُ أَيْضًا بِالـمَسِيحِ يَسُوع، لِكَي نُبَرَّرَ بِالإِيْمَانِ بِالـمَسِيح، لا بِأَعْمَالِ الشَّريعَة، لأَنَّهُ مَا مِن بَشَرٍ يُبَرَّرُ بِأَعْمَالِ الشَّرِيعَة. 17 فإِنْ كُنَّا، ونَحنُ نَسْعَى أَنْ نُبَرَّرَ في الـمَسِيح، قَد وُجِدْنَا نَحْنُ أَيْضًا خَطَأَة، فهَلْ يَكُونُ الـمَسِيحُ خَادِمًا لِلخَطِيئَة؟ حَاشَا!
Evangile Arabic	1 لا تَدِينُوا لِئَلاَّ تُدَانُوا. 2 فَبِمَا تَدِينُونَ تُدَانُون، وبِمَا تَكِيلُونَ يُكَالُ لَكُم. 3 مَا بَالُكَ تَنْظُرُ إِلى القَشَّةِ في عَيْنِ أَخيك، ولا تُبَالي بِالـخَشَبةِ في عَيْنِكَ؟ 4 بَلْ كَيْفَ تَقُولُ لأَخِيك: دَعْني أُخْرِجُ القَشَّةَ مِنْ عَيْنِكَ، وهَا هِي الـخَشَبَةُ في عَيْنِكَ أَنْتَ؟ 5 يا مُرائِي، أَخْرِجِ الـخَشَبَةَ أَوَّلاً مِنْ عَيْنِكَ، وعِنْدَئِذٍ تُبْصِرُ جَيِّدًا فَتُخْرِجُ القَشَّةَ مِنْ عَيْنِ أَخِيك. 6 لا تُعْطُوا الـمُقَدَّسَاتِ لِلْكِلاب. ولا تَطْرَحُوا جَواهِرَكُم أَمَامَ الـخَنَازِير، لِئَلاَّ تَدُوسَهَا بِأَرْجُلِها، وتَرْتَدَّ عَلَيْكُم فَتُمَزِّقَكُم. 7 إِسْأَلُوا تُعْطَوا، أُطْلُبُوا تَجِدُوا، إِقْرَعُوا يُفْتَحْ لَكُم. 8 فَمَنْ يَسْأَلْ يَنَلْ، ومَن يَطْلُبْ يَجِدْ، ومَنْ يَقْرَعْ يُفْتَحْ لَهُ. 9 أَيُّ إِنْسَانٍ مِنْكُم يَسْأَلُهُ ابْنُهُ خُبْزًا فَيُعْطِيهِ حَجَرًا؟ 10 أَو يَسْأَلُهُ سَمَكَةً فَيُعْطِيهِ حَيَّة؟ 11 فَإِذَا كُنْتُم، أَنْتُمُ الأَشْرَار، تَعْرِفُونَ أَنْ تُعْطُوا أَوْلادَكُم عَطايا صَالِحَة، فَكَمْ بِالأَحْرَى أَبُوكُمُ الَّذي في السَّمَاواتِ يَمْنَحُ الصَّالِحَاتِ لِلَّذينَ يَسْأَلُونَهُ؟ 12 فَكُلُّ مَا تُريدُونَ أَنْ يَفْعَلَهُ النَّاسُ لَكُم، إِفْعَلُوهُ لَهُم أَنْتُم أَيْضًا. هـذِهِ هِيَ التَّوْرَاةُ والأَنْبِيَاء.

Lecture French	11 Mais quand Pierre est venu à Antioche, je me suis opposé à lui ouvertement, parce qu’il était dans son tort. 12 En effet, avant l’arrivée de quelques personnes de l’entourage de Jacques, Pierre prenait ses repas avec les fidèles d’origine païenne. Mais après leur arrivée, il prit l’habitude de se retirer et de se tenir à l’écart, par crainte de ceux qui étaient d’origine juive. 13 Tous les autres fidèles d’origine juive jouèrent la même comédie que lui, si bien que Barnabé lui-même se laissa entraîner dans ce jeu. 14 Mais quand je vis que ceux-ci ne marchaient pas droit selon la vérité de l’Évangile, je dis à Pierre devant tout le monde : « Si toi qui es juif, tu vis à la manière des païens et non des Juifs, pourquoi obliges-tu les païens à suivre les coutumes juives ? » 15 Nous, nous sommes des Juifs de naissance, et non pas de ces pécheurs d’origine païenne. 16 Cependant, nous avons reconnu que ce n’est pas en pratiquant la loi de Moïse que l’homme devient juste devant Dieu, mais seulement par la foi en Jésus Christ ; c’est pourquoi nous avons cru, nous aussi, au Christ Jésus pour devenir des justes par la foi au Christ, et non par la pratique de la Loi, puisque, par la pratique de la Loi, personne ne deviendra juste. 17 S’il était vrai qu’en cherchant à devenir des justes grâce au Christ, nous avons été trouvés pécheurs, nous aussi, cela ne voudrait-il pas dire que le Christ est au service du péché ? Il n’en est rien, bien sûr !
Evangile French	01 « Ne jugez pas, pour ne pas être jugés ; 02 de la manière dont vous jugez, vous serez jugés ; de la mesure dont vous mesurez, on vous mesurera. 03 Quoi ! tu regardes la paille dans l’œil de ton frère ; et la poutre qui est dans ton œil, tu ne la remarques pas ? 04 Ou encore : Comment vas-tu dire à ton frère : “Laisse-moi enlever la paille de ton œil”, alors qu’il y a une poutre dans ton œil à toi ? 05 Hypocrite ! Enlève d’abord la poutre de ton œil ; alors tu verras clair pour enlever la paille qui est dans l’œil de ton frère. 06 « Ne donnez pas aux chiens ce qui est sacré ; ne jetez pas vos perles aux pourceaux, de peur qu’ils ne les piétinent, puis se retournent pour vous déchirer. 07 « Demandez, on vous donnera ; cherchez, vous trouverez ; frappez, on vous ouvrira. 08 En effet, quiconque demande reçoit ; qui cherche trouve ; à qui frappe, on ouvrira. 09 Ou encore : lequel d’entre vous donnera une pierre à son fils quand il lui demande du pain ? 10 ou bien lui donnera un serpent, quand il lui demande un poisson ? 11 Si donc vous, qui êtes mauvais, vous savez donner de bonnes choses à vos enfants, combien plus votre Père qui est aux cieux donnera-t-il de bonnes choses à ceux qui les lui demandent ! 12 « Donc, tout ce que vous voudriez que les autres fassent pour vous, faites-le pour eux, vous aussi : voilà ce que disent la Loi et les Prophètes.

Lecture English	11 j And when Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face because he clearly was wrong.* 12 For, until some people came from James,* he used to eat with the Gentiles; but when they came, he began to draw back and separated himself, because he was afraid of the circumcised.k 13 And the rest of the Jews* [also] acted hypocritically along with him, with the result that even Barnabas was carried away by their hypocrisy.l 14 But when I saw that they were not on the right road in line with the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas in front of all,m “If you, though a Jew, are living like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you compel the Gentiles to live like Jews?”* Faith and Works.* 15 We, who are Jews by nature and not sinners from among the Gentiles, 16 n [yet] who know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.* 17 But if, in seeking to be justified in Christ, we ourselves are found to be sinners, is Christ then a minister of sin?* Of course not!

Pearls Before Swine. 6 “Do not give what is holy to dogs,* or throw your pearls before swine, lest they trample them underfoot, and turn and tear you to pieces.d The Answer to Prayers. 7 e “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.f 8 For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.g 9 Which one of you would hand his son a stone when he asks for a loaf of bread,* 10 or a snake when he asks for a fish? 11 If you then, who are wicked, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good things to those who ask him.h The Golden Rule. 12 * “Do to others whatever you would have them do to you.i This is the law and the prophets.
