Lecture Arabic	1 مِنْ بولُسَ رَسُولِ الـمَسِيحِ يَسُوع، بِأَمْرِ اللهِ مُخَلِّصِنَا، والـمَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ رَجَائِنَا، 2 إِلى طِيمُوتَاوُسَ الابْنِ الـحَقِيقِيِّ في الإِيْمَان: أَلنِّعْمَةُ والرَّحْمَةُ والسَّلامُ مِنَ اللهِ الآب، والـمَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ رَبِّنَا‍‍! 3 نَاشَدْتُكَ، وأَنَا مُنْطَلِقٌ إِلى مَقْدُونِيَة، أَنْ تُقِيمَ في أَفَسُس، لِتُوصِيَ بَعضًا مِنَ الـنَّاس أَلاَّ يُعَلِّمُوا تَعْلِيْمًا مُخَالِفًا، 4 ولا يُصْغُوا إِلى خُرَافَاتٍ وأَنْسَابٍ لا آخِرَ لَهَا، تُثِيرُ الـمُجَادَلاتِ أَكْثَرَ مِمَّا تَخْدُمُ تَدْبِيرَ اللهِ في الإِيْمَان. 5 أَمَّا غَايَةُ هـذِهِ الوَصِيَّةِ فإِنَّمَا هِيَ الـمَحَبَّةُ بقَلْبٍ طَاهِر، وضَمِيرٍ صَالِح، وإِيْمَانٍ لا رِيَاءَ فيه. 6 وقَد زَاغَ عَنْهَا بَعضُهُم، فَانْحَرَفُوا إِلى الكَلامِ البَاطِل، 7 وأَرادُوا أَنْ يَكُونُوا مُعَلِّمِي الشَّرِيعَة، وهُم لا يُدْرِكُونَ ما يَقُولُونَ ولا مَا يُؤَكِّدُون. 8 ونَحْنُ نَعْلَمُ أَنَّ الشَّرِيعَةَ صَالِحَةٌ لِمَنْ يَعْمَلُ بِمُقْتَضَاهَا،
Evangile Arabic	46 وبَعْدَما ودَّعَهُم ذَهَبَ إِلى الـجَبَلِ لِيُصَلِّي. 47 ولَمَّا كانَ الـمَسَاء، كانَتِ السَّفِينَةُ في وَسَطِ البُحَيْرَة، ويَسُوعُ وَحْدَهُ عَلى اليَابِسَة. 48 ورَأَى التَّلامِيذَ مَنْهُوكِينَ مِنَ التَّجْذِيف، لأَنَّ الرِّيحَ كانَتْ مُخَالِفةً لَهُم، فجَاءَ إِلَيْهِم في آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ مَاشِيًا عَلَى البُحَيْرَة، وكانَ يُريدُ أَنْ يَتخَطَّاهُم. 49 ولَمَّا رَآهُ التَّلامِيذُ مَاشِيًا عَلَى البُحَيْرَة، ظَنُّوهُ شَبَحًا فصَرَخُوا، 50 لأَنَّهُم رأَوْهُ كُلُّهُم واضْطَرَبُوا. وفي الـحَالِ كَلَّمَهُم يَسُوعُ وقَالَ لَهُم: "ثِقُوا! أَنَا هُوَ، لا تَخَافُوا!". 51 وصَعِدَ إِلَيْهِم، إِلى السَّفِينَة، فسَكَنَتِ الرِّيح. ودَهِشُوا في أَنْفُسِهِم غَايَةَ الدَّهَش، 52 لأَنَّهُم لَمْ يَفْهَمُوا مُعْجِزَةَ الأَرْغِفَةِ لِقَسَاوَةِ قُلُوبِهِم. 53 ولَمَّا عَبَرُوا جَاؤُوا إِلى أَرْضِ جِنَّاشَر، وأَرْسَوا هُنَاك. 54 ولَمَّا خَرَجُوا مِنَ السَّفِينَةِ عَرَفَهُ النَّاسُ حَالاً. 55 وطَافُوا تِلْكَ النَّاحِيَةَ كُلَّها، وبَدَأُوا يَحْمِلُونَ مَنْ بِهِم سُوءٌ إِلى حَيْثُ كَانُوا يَسْمَعُونَ أَنَّهُ مَوْجُود. 56 وحَيْثُما كانَ يَدْخُلُ قُرًى أَوْ مُدُنًا أَو ضِياعًا، كَانُوا يَضَعُونَ الـمَرْضَى في السَّاحَات، ويَتَوَسَّلُونَ إِلَيْهِ أَنْ يَلْمُسُوا وَلَو طَرَفَ رِدَائِهِ. وجَمِيعُ الَّذِينَ لَمَسُوهُ كانُوا يُشْفَون.

Lecture French	01 PAUL, APOTRE du Christ Jésus par ordre de Dieu notre Sauveur et du Christ Jésus notre espérance, 02 à Timothée, mon véritable enfant dans la foi. À toi, la grâce, la miséricorde et la paix de la part de Dieu le Père et du Christ Jésus notre Seigneur. 03 Comme je te l’ai recommandé en partant pour la Macédoine, reste à Éphèse pour interdire à certains de donner un enseignement différent 04 ou de s’attacher à des récits mythologiques et à des généalogies interminables : cela ne porte qu’à de vaines recherches, plutôt qu’au dessein de Dieu qu’on accueille dans la foi. 05 Le but de cette interdiction, c’est l’amour, la charité, qui vient d’un cœur pur, d’une conscience droite et d’une foi sans détours. 06 Pour s’être écartés de ce chemin, certains se sont tournés vers des discours inconsistants ; 07 ils veulent passer pour des spécialistes de la Loi, alors qu’ils ne comprennent ni ce qu’ils disent, ni ce dont ils se portent garants. 08 Or nous savons que la Loi est bonne, à condition d’en faire un usage légitime,
Evangile French	47 Le soir venu, la barque était au milieu de la mer et lui, tout seul, à terre. 48 Voyant qu’ils peinaient à ramer, car le vent leur était contraire, il vient à eux vers la fin de la nuit en marchant sur la mer, et il voulait les dépasser. 49 En le voyant marcher sur la mer, les disciples pensèrent que c’était un fantôme et ils se mirent à pousser des cris. 50 Tous, en effet, l’avaient vu et ils étaient bouleversés. Mais aussitôt Jésus parla avec eux et leur dit : « Confiance ! c’est moi ; n’ayez pas peur ! » 51 Il monta ensuite avec eux dans la barque et le vent tomba ; et en eux-mêmes ils étaient au comble de la stupeur, 52 car ils n’avaient rien compris au sujet des pains : leur cœur était endurci. 53 Après la traversée, abordant à Génésareth, ils accostèrent. 54 Ils sortirent de la barque, et aussitôt les gens reconnurent Jésus : 55 ils parcoururent toute la région, et se mirent à apporter les malades sur des brancards là où l’on apprenait que Jésus se trouvait. 56 Et dans tous les endroits où il se rendait, dans les villages, les villes ou les campagnes, on déposait les infirmes sur les places. Ils le suppliaient de leur laisser toucher ne serait-ce que la frange de son manteau. Et tous ceux qui la touchèrent étaient sauvés.

Evangile English	47 When it was evening, the boat was far out on the sea and he was alone on shore. 48 Then he saw that they were tossed about while rowing, for the wind was against them. About the fourth watch of the night, he came toward them walking on the sea.* He meant to pass by them. 49 But when they saw him walking on the sea, they thought it was a ghost and cried out. 50 * They had all seen him and were terrified. But at once he spoke with them, “Take courage, it is I, do not be afraid!” 51 He got into the boat with them and the wind died down. They were [completely] astounded. 52 They had not understood the incident of the loaves.* On the contrary, their hearts were hardened.q The Healings at Gennesaret. 53 r After making the crossing, they came to land at Gennesaret and tied up there. 54 As they were leaving the boat, people immediately recognized him. 55 They scurried about the surrounding country and began to bring in the sick on mats to wherever they heard he was. 56 Whatever villages or towns or countryside he entered, they laid the sick in the marketplaces and begged him that they might touch only the tassel on his cloak; and as many as touched it were healed.s
