Lecture Arabic	11 وبَعْدَ ثلاثَةِ أَشْهُر، أَقْلَعْنَا في سَفينَةٍ آتِيَةٍ مِنَ الإِسْكَنْدَرِيَّةِ مَوْسُومَةٍ بِعَلامَةِ الـجَوْزَاء، قَضَتْ فَصْلَ الشِّتَاءَ في الـجَزِيرَة. 12 فَنَزَلْنَا في مَدِينَةِ سِيرَاكُوزَا وأَقَمْنَا فيهَا ثَلاثَةَ أَيَّام. 13 ومِنْ هُنَاكَ سِرْنَا عِلى مَقْرُبَةٍ مِنَ الشَّاطِئِ حَتَّى بَلَغْنَا مَدينَةَ راجِيُون. وبَعْدَ يَوْمٍ وَاحِد، هَبَّتْ عَلَيْنَا رِيحُ جَنُوب، ووَصَلْنَا بَعْدَ يَومَيْنِ إِلى مَدينَةِ بُوطيُول. 14 ووَجَدْنَا فيهَا بَعْضَ الإِخْوَة، فسَأَلُونَا أَنْ نُقِيمَ عِنْدَهُم سَبْعَةَ أَيَّام، وهـكَذَا انْطَلَقْنَا إِلى رُومَا. 15 ومِنْ هُنَاكَ سَمِعَ الإِخْوَةُ بِخَبَرِ وصُولِنَا، فَجَاؤُوا إِلى لِقائِنَا حَتَّى سَاحَةِ أَبْيُوس والـحَوَانِيتِ الثَّلاثَة، ورآهُم بُولُس، فشَكَرَ الله، وتَشَجَّع.
Evangile Arabic	10 وكانَ يَسُوعُ يُعَلِّمُ في أَحَدِ الـمَجَامِعِ يَوْمَ السَّبْت. 11 وَإِذَا امْرَأَةٌ فيها رُوحُ مَرَضٍ مُنْذُ ثَمَانِي عَشْرَةَ سَنَة، قَدْ جَعَلَهَا حَدْبَاءَ لا تَقْدِرُ أَبَدًا أَنْ تَنْتَصِب. 12 وَرَآها يَسُوعُ فَدَعَاهَا وَقالَ لَهَا: "يا امْرَأَة، إِنَّكِ طَلِيقَةٌ مِنْ مَرَضِكِ!". 13 ثُمَّ وَضَعَ يَدَيهِ عَلَيْها، فانْتَصَبَتْ فَجْأَةً، وَأَخَذَتْ تُمِجِّدُ الله. 14 فَأَجَابَ رَئِيسُ الـمَجْمَعِ وَهوَ غَاضِب، لأَنَّ يَسُوعَ أَبْرَأَها يَوْمَ السَّبْت، وقَالَ لِلْجَمْع: هُنَاكَ سِتَّةُ أَيَّامٍ يَجِبُ فِيهَا العَمَل، فَتَعَالَوا واسْتَشْفُوا فِيهَا، لا في يَوْمِ السَّبْت!". 15 فَأَجابَهُ الرَّبُّ وَقَال: "أَيُّها الـمُرَاؤُون، أَلا يَحِلُّ كُلٌّ مِنْكُم يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ ثَوْرَهُ أَو حِمَارَهُ مِنَ الـمَعْلَف، وَيَأْخُذُه لِيَسْقِيَهُ؟ 16 وَهـذِهِ ابْنَةُ إِبْرَاهِيم، الَّتِي رَبَطَها الشَّيْطَانُ مُنْذُ ثَمَانِي عَشْرَةَ سَنَة، أَمَا كَانَ يَنْبَغي أَنْ تُحَلَّ مِنْ هـذا الرِّبَاطِ في يَوْمِ السَّبْت؟". 17 وَلَمَّا قَالَ هـذَا، خَزِيَ جَمِيعُ مُعَارِضِيه، وَفَرِحَ الـجَمْعُ كُلُّهُ بِجَمِيعِ الأَعْمَالِ الـمَجِيدَةِ الَّتي كانَتْ تَجْري عَلَى يَدِهِ.

Lecture French	11 C’est au bout de trois mois que nous avons repris la mer à bord d’un navire d’Alexandrie, portant comme emblème les Dioscures, et qui avait passé l’hiver dans l’île. 12 Nous avons abordé à Syracuse et nous y sommes restés trois jours. 13 Après avoir levé l’ancre, nous avons atteint Reggio. Le lendemain, est survenu un vent du sud, et en deux jours nous sommes arrivés à Pouzzoles. 14 Nous y avons trouvé des frères qui nous ont invités à passer sept jours chez eux. Voici comment nous sommes arrivés à Rome. 15 De la ville, les frères, qui avaient entendu parler de nous, sont venus à notre rencontre jusqu’au lieu-dit Forum-d’Appius et à celui des Trois-Tavernes. En les voyant, Paul a rendu grâce à Dieu et repris courage.
Evangile French	10 Jésus était en train d’enseigner dans une synagogue, le jour du sabbat. 11 Voici qu’il y avait là une femme, possédée par un esprit qui la rendait infirme depuis dix-huit ans ; elle était toute courbée et absolument incapable de se redresser. 12 Quand Jésus la vit, il l’interpella et lui dit : « Femme, te voici délivrée de ton infirmité. » 13 Et il lui imposa les mains. À l’instant même elle redevint droite et rendait gloire à Dieu. 14 Alors le chef de la synagogue, indigné de voir Jésus faire une guérison le jour du sabbat, prit la parole et dit à la foule : « Il y a six jours pour travailler ; venez donc vous faire guérir ces jours-là, et non pas le jour du sabbat. » 15 Le Seigneur lui répliqua : « Hypocrites ! Chacun de vous, le jour du sabbat, ne détache-t-il pas de la mangeoire son bœuf ou son âne pour le mener boire ? 16 Alors cette femme, une fille d’Abraham, que Satan avait liée voici dix-huit ans, ne fallait-il pas la délivrer de ce lien le jour du sabbat ? » 17 À ces paroles de Jésus, tous ses adversaires furent remplis de honte, et toute la foule était dans la joie à cause de toutes les actions éclatantes qu’il faisait.

Lecture English	11 Three months later we set sail on a ship that had wintered at the island. It was an Alexandrian ship with the Dioscuri* as its figurehead. 12 We put in at Syracuse and stayed there three days, 13 and from there we sailed round the coast and arrived at Rhegium. After a day, a south wind came up and in two days we reached Puteoli. 14 There we found some brothers and were urged to stay with them for seven days. And thus we came to Rome. 15 The brothers from there heard about us and came as far as the Forum of Appius and Three Taverns to meet us. On seeing them, Paul gave thanks to God and took courage.
Evangile English	10 He was teaching in a synagogue on the sabbath. 11 And a woman was there who for eighteen years had been crippled by a spirit; she was bent over, completely incapable of standing erect. 12 When Jesus saw her, he called to her and said, “Woman, you are set free of your infirmity.” 13 He laid his hands on her, and she at once stood up straight and glorified God. 14 d But the leader of the synagogue, indignant that Jesus had cured on the sabbath, said to the crowd in reply, “There are six days when work should be done. Come on those days to be cured, not on the sabbath day.” 15 * The Lord said to him in reply, “Hypocrites! Does not each one of you on the sabbath untie his ox or his ass from the manger and lead it out for watering?e 16 * This daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound for eighteen years now, ought she not to have been set free on the sabbath day from this bondage?”f 17 When he said this, all his adversaries were humiliated; and the whole crowd rejoiced at all the splendid deeds done by him.
