Lecture Arabic	1 وبَيْنَما كانَ أَبُلُّوسُ في قُورِنْتُس، اجْتَازَ بُولُسُ في الـمَناطِقِ العَالِيَةِ مِنَ البِلادِ ووَصَلَ إِلى أَفَسُس، فوَجَدَ فيها بَعْضَ التَّلامِيذ. 2 فقَالَ لَهُم: "هَلْ نِلْتُمُ الرُّوحَ القُدُسَ حِينَ آمَنْتُم؟". فقَالُوا لَهُ: "لا، ولا سَمِعْنَا أَنَّهُ يُوجَدُ رُوحٌ قُدُس!". 3 فقَال: "إِذًا بِأَيِّ مَعْمُودِيَّةٍ اعْتَمَدْتُم؟". قالُوا: "بِمَعْمُودِيَّةِ يُوحَنَّا!". 4 فقَالَ بُولُس: "إِنَّ يُوحَنَّا قَدْ عَمَّدَ بِمَعْمُودِيَّةِ التَّوبَةِ دَاعِيًا الشَّعْبَ إِلى الإِيْمَانِ بِالآتي بَعْدَهُ، أَيْ بِيَسُوع". 5 فلَمَّا سَمِعُوا ذ,لِكَ اعْتَمَدُوا بِاسْمِ الرَّبِّ يَسُوع. 6 ووَضَعَ بُولُسُ علَيْهِم يَدَيْه، فَنَزَلَ عَلَيْهِمِ الرُّوحُ القُدُس، وأَخَذُوا يَتَكَلَّمُونَ بِلُغَاتٍ ويَتَنَبَّأُون. 7 وكانَ الرِّجالُ كُلُّهُم نَحْوَ اثْنَي عَشَر. 8 ثُمَّ دَخَلَ الـمَجْمَع، وعَلى مَدَى ثَلاثَةِ أَشْهُرٍ كانَ يَتَكَلَّمُ بِجُرْأَة، وهُوَ يُجَادِلُ الـحَاضِرينَ ويُقْنِعُهُم في أَمْرِ مَلَكَوتِ الله. 9 لـكِنَّ بَعْضًا مِنْهُم قَسَّوا قُلُوبَهُم ولَمْ يُؤْمِنُوا. وأَخَذُوا يَتَكَلَّمُونَ بِالسُّوءِ عَلى طَرِيقِ الرَّبِّ أَمامَ الـجُمْهُور. فَاعْتَزَلَ بُولُسُ عَنْهُم، وانْفَرَدَ بِالتَّلامِيذ، وكانَ يُحَدِّثُهُم كُلَّ يَوْمٍ في مَدْرَسَةِ تِيرَنُّس. 10 ودَامَ ذ,لِكَ مُدَّةَ سَنَتَيْن، حَتَّى إِنَّ جَميعَ سُكَّانِ آسِيا، مِنْ يَهُودٍ ويُونَانيِّين، سَمِعُوا كَلِمَةَ الرَّبّ.
Evangile Arabic	37 وَفيمَا هُوَ يَتَكَلَّم، سَأَلَهُ فَرِّيسيٌّ أَنْ يَتَغَدَّى عِنْدَهُ. فَدَخَلَ وَاتَّكأ. 38 وَرَأَى الفَرِّيسِيُّ أَنَّ يَسُوعَ لَمْ يَغْتَسِلْ قَبْلَ الغَدَاء، فَتَعَجَّب. 39 فَقَالَ لَهُ الرَّبّ: "أَنْتُمُ الآن، أيُّها الفَرِّيسِيُّون، تُطَهِّرُونَ خَارِجَ الكَأْسِ وَالوِعَاء، ودَاخِلُكُم مَمْلُوءٌ نَهْبًا وَشَرًّا. 40 أَيُّها الـجُهَّال، أَلَيْسَ الَّذي صَنَعَ الـخَارِجَ قَدْ صَنَعَ الدَّاخِلَ أَيْضًا؟ 41 أَلا تَصَدَّقُوا بِمَا في دَاخِلِ الكَأْسِ وَالوِعَاء، فَيَكُونَ لَكُم كُلُّ شَيءٍ طَاهِرًا.

Lecture French	01 Pendant qu’Apollos était à Corinthe, Paul traversait le haut pays ; il arriva à Éphèse, où il trouva quelques disciples. 02 Il leur demanda : « Lorsque vous êtes devenus croyants, avez-vous reçu l’Esprit Saint ? » Ils lui répondirent : « Nous n’avons même pas entendu dire qu’il y a un Esprit Saint. » 03 Paul reprit : « Quel baptême avez-vous donc reçu ? » Ils répondirent : « Celui de Jean le Baptiste. » 04 Paul dit alors : « Jean donnait un baptême de conversion : il disait au peuple de croire en celui qui devait venir après lui, c’est-à-dire en Jésus. » 05 Après l’avoir entendu, ils se firent baptiser au nom du Seigneur Jésus. 06 Et quand Paul leur eut imposé les mains, l’Esprit Saint vint sur eux, et ils se mirent à parler en langues mystérieuses et à prophétiser. 07 Ils étaient une douzaine d’hommes au total. 08 Paul se rendit à la synagogue où, pendant trois mois, il prit la parole avec assurance ; il discutait et usait d’arguments persuasifs à propos du royaume de Dieu. 09 Certains s’endurcissaient et refusaient de croire ; devant la multitude, ils dénigraient le Chemin du Seigneur Jésus. C’est pourquoi Paul se sépara d’eux. Il prit les disciples à part et s’entretenait chaque jour avec eux dans l’école de Tyrannos. 10 Cela dura deux ans, si bien que tous les habitants de la province d’Asie, Juifs et Grecs, entendirent la parole du Seigneur.
Evangile French	37 Pendant que Jésus parlait, un pharisien l’invita pour le repas de midi. Jésus entra chez lui et prit place. 38 Le pharisien fut étonné en voyant qu’il n’avait pas fait d’abord les ablutions précédant le repas. 39 Le Seigneur lui dit : « Bien sûr, vous les pharisiens, vous purifiez l’extérieur de la coupe et du plat, mais à l’intérieur de vous-mêmes vous êtes remplis de cupidité et de méchanceté. 40 Insensés ! Celui qui a fait l’extérieur n’a-t-il pas fait aussi l’intérieur ? 41 Donnez plutôt en aumône ce que vous avez, et alors tout sera pur pour vous.

Lecture English	1 * While Apollos was in Corinth, Paul traveled through the interior of the country and came (down) to Ephesus where he found some disciples. 2 He said to them, “Did you receive the holy Spirit when you became believers?” They answered him, “We have never even heard that there is a holy Spirit.” 3 He said, “How were you baptized?” They replied, “With the baptism of John.” 4 Paul then said, “John baptized with a baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in the one who was to come after him, that is, in Jesus.”a 5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 And when Paul laid [his] hands on them, the holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.b 7 Altogether there were about twelve men. 8 He entered the synagogue, and for three months debated boldly with persuasive arguments about the kingdom of God. 9 But when some in their obstinacy and disbelief disparaged the Way before the assembly, he withdrew and took his disciples with him and began to hold daily discussions in the lecture hall of Tyrannus. 10 This continued for two years with the result that all the inhabitants of the province of Asia heard the word of the Lord, Jews and Greeks alike.
Evangile English	37 s After he had spoken, a Pharisee invited him to dine at his home. He entered and reclined at table to eat.t 38 The Pharisee was amazed to see that he did not observe the prescribed washing before the meal.u 39 The Lord said to him, “Oh you Pharisees!v Although you cleanse the outside of the cup and the dish, inside you are filled with plunder and evil. 40 You fools! Did not the maker of the outside also make the inside? 41 But as to what is within, give alms, and behold, everything will be clean for you.
