Lecture Arabic	40 وأَذِنَ لَهُ. فوَقَفَ بُولُسُ علَى الدَّرَج، وأَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ إِلى الشَّعْب، فَحَدَثَ صَمْتٌ كَبير، فخَاطَبَهُم بِاللُّغَةِ العِبْرِيَّةِ قائِلاً: 10 فقُلْتُ: مَاذَا أَفْعَلُ يا رَبّ؟ فقَالَ ليَ الرَّبّ: قُمْ وَاذْهَبْ إِلى دِمَشْق، وهُنَاكَ يُقَالُ لَكَ مَاذَا يَجِبُ عَلَيْكَ أَنْ تَفْعَل.
Evangile Arabic	1 في تِلْكَ الأَثْنَاء، احْتَشَدَتْ عَشَرَاتُ الأُلُوفِ مِنَ الـجُمُوع، حَتَّى دَاسَ بَعْضُهُم بَعْضًا، فَبَدَأَ يَسُوعُ يَقُولُ أَوَّلاً لِتَلامِيذِهِ: "إِحْذَرُوا لأَنْفُسِكُم مِنْ خَميرِ الفَرِّيسِيِّين، الَّذي هُوَ الرِّيَاء. 2 فَمَا مِنْ مَحْجُوبٍ إِلاَّ سَيُكْشَف، وَمَا مِنْ خَفِيٍّ إِلاَّ سَيُعْرَف. 3 لِذـلِكَ فَكُلُّ مَا قُلْتُمُوهُ في الظُّلْمَةِ سَيُسْمَعُ في النُّور، وَمَا تَكَلَّمْتُم بِهِ هَمْسًا في الـمَخَادِعِ سَيُنادَى بِهِ عَلَى السُّطُوح. 4 وَأَقُولُ لَكُم، يَا أَحِبَّائِي: لا تَخَافُوا مِمَّنْ يَقْتُلُونَ الـجَسَد، وَبَعْدَ ذـلِكَ لا يَقْدِرُونَ أَنْ يَفْعَلُوا أَكْثَر. 5 بَلْ أُبَيِّنُ لَكُم مِمَّنْ تَخَافُون: خَافُوا مِمَّنْ، إِذَا قَتَل، لَهُ سُلْطانٌ أَنْ يُلْقِيَ في جَهَنَّم. نَعَم، أَقُولُ لَكُم، مِنْ هـذا خَافُوا.

Un grand silence s’établit, et il prit la parole en araméen : 10 Alors je dis : “Que dois-je faire, Seigneur ?” Le Seigneur me répondit : “Relève-toi, va jusqu’à Damas ; et là on te dira tout ce qu’il t’est prescrit de faire.”
Evangile French	01 Comme la foule s’était rassemblée par milliers au point qu’on s’écrasait, Jésus, s’adressant d’abord à ses disciples, se mit à dire : « Méfiez-vous du levain des pharisiens, c’est-à-dire de leur hypocrisie. 02 Tout ce qui est couvert d’un voile sera dévoilé, tout ce qui est caché sera connu. 03 Aussi tout ce que vous aurez dit dans les ténèbres sera entendu en pleine lumière, ce que vous aurez dit à l’oreille dans le fond de la maison sera proclamé sur les toits. 04 Je vous le dis, à vous mes amis : Ne craignez pas ceux qui tuent le corps, et après cela ne peuvent rien faire de plus. 05 Je vais vous montrer qui vous devez craindre : craignez celui qui, après avoir tué, a le pouvoir d’envoyer dans la géhenne. Oui, je vous le dis : c’est celui-là que vous devez craindre.

Evangile English	1 Meanwhile, so many people were crowding together that they were trampling one another underfoot.a He began to speak, first to his disciples, “Beware of the leaven—that is, the hypocrisy—of the Pharisees. Courage Under Persecution.* 2 b “There is nothing concealed that will not be revealed, nor secret that will not be known.c 3 Therefore whatever you have said in the darkness will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered behind closed doors will be proclaimed on the housetops. 4 I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body but after that can do no more. 5 I shall show you whom to fear. Be afraid of the one who after killing has the power to cast into Gehenna;* yes, I tell you, be afraid of that one.
