Lecture Arabic	1 وَرأَيتُ وَحْشًا طَالِعًا مِنَ البَحْر، لَهُ عَشَرَةُ قُرُونٍ وسَبْعَةُ رُؤُوس، وَعَلى قُرُونِهِ عَشَرَةُ تِيجَان، وعَلَى رُؤُوسِهِ أَسْمَاءُ تَجْدِيف. 2 والوَحْشُ الَّذي رَأَيتُه كَانَ أَشْبَهَ بِالنَّمِر، وَقَوَائِمُهُ مِثْلُ قَوَائِمِ الدُّبّ، وفَمُهُ مِثْلُ فَمِ الأَسَد، وأَعْطَاهُ التِّنيِّنُ قُوَّتَهُ وعَرْشَهُ وسُلْطانًا عَظِيمًا. 3 وَرَأَيتُ أَحَدَ رُؤُوسِهِ كأَنَّهُ مَذْبُوحٌ ذَبْحًا مُمِيتًا، وقَدْ شُفِيَتْ ضَرْبَتُهُ الْمُمِيتَة. فتَعَّجَبَتِ الأَرْضُ بِأَسْرِها وسَارَتْ وَرَاءَ الوَحْش. 4 وسَجَدُوا لِلتِّنيِّنِ لأَنَّهُ أَعْطَى الوَحْشَ سُلطَانَةُ، وسَجَدُوا لِلْوَحْشِ قائِلين: "مَنْ مِثْلُ الوَحْش؟ ومَنْ يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يُحارِبَهُ؟". 6 فَفَتَحَ فَمَهُ بِتَجَادِيفَ عَلى الله، فَجَدَّفَ عَلى اسْمِهِ ومَسْكِنِهِ، وعَلى الـمُقِيمِينَ في السَّمَاء. 7 وأُعْطِيَ أَن يَشُنَّ حَربًا عَلى القِدِّيسِينَ وَيَغْلِبَهُم، وأُعْطِيَ سُلطَانًا عَلى كُلِّ قَبيلةٍ وشَعْبٍ وَلِسَانٍ وأُمَّة. 11 ورَأَيتُ وَحْشًا آخَرَ طَالِعًا مِنَ الأَرْض، وكَانَ لَهُ قَرْنَانِ كَالـحَمَل، ولـكِنَّهُ كانَ يَتَكَلَّمُ مِثْلَ التَّنيِّن. 12 وهُوَ يَعْمَلُ بِكُلِّ سُلْطَانِ الوَحْشِ الأَوَّلِ وأَمَامَهُ، فَيَجْعَلُ الأَرْضَ وسُكَّانَها يَسْجُدُونَ لِلوَحْشِ الأَوَّل، الَّذي شُفِيَتْ ضَرْبَتُهُ الـمُمِيتَة. 15 وأُعْطِيَ لَهُ أَن يُعْطِيَ لصُورَةِ الوَحْشِ رُوحًا، حتَّى إِنَّ صُورَةَ الوَحْشِ تَكَلَّمَتْ، وجَعَلَتْ جَميعَ الَّذِينَ لا يَسْجدُوُنَ لِصُورةِ الوَحْشِ يُقْتَلُون. 16 وَهْوَ يَجْعَلُ الـجَمِيع، الصِّغَارَ والكِبَار، والأَغْنِياءَ والفُقَرَاء، والأَحْرَارَ والعَبِيد، يَضَعُونَ سِمَةً عَلَى يَدِهِمِ اليُمْنَى أَو عَلى جَبْهَتِهِم، 17 بِحَيْثُ لا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَحَدٌ أَنْ يَشْتَريَ أَو يَبِيعَ إلاَّ مَنْ كَانَتْ عَلَيهِ السِّمَة، أَي اسْمُ الوَحْشِ أَو عَدَدُ اسْمِهِ. 18 هُنَا الـحِكْمَة: مَنْ لَهُ الفَهْمُ فَلْيَحْسُبْ عَدَدَ الوَحْش، فَإِنَّه عَدَدُ إِنْسَان، وعَدَدُهُ سِتُّ مِئَةٍ وسِتَّةٌ وسِتُّون.
Evangile Arabic	17 فَأَجَابَهُم يَسُوع: "أَبِي مَا يَزَالُ يَعْمَلُ وأَنَا أَيْضًا أَعْمَل". 18 لِذـلِكَ ازْدَادَ طَلَبُ اليَهُودِ لِقَتْلِهِ، لأَنَّهُ مَا كَانَ يَنْقُضُ السَّبْتَ فَحَسْب، بَلْ كَانَ أَيْضًا يَدْعُو اللهَ أَبَاهُ مُسَاوِيًا نَفْسَهُ بِالله. 19 وكَانَ يَسُوعُ يُجِيبُهُم ويَقُول: "أَلحَقَّ الـحَقَّ أَقُولُ لَكُم، لا يَقْدِرُ الابْنُ أَنْ يَعْمَلَ شَيئًا مِنْ تِلْقَاءِ نَفْسِهِ إِلاَّ مَا يَرَى الآبَ يَعْمَلُهُ. فَمَا يَعْمَلُهُ الآبُ يَعْمَلُهُ الابْنُ أَيْضًا مِثْلَهُ. 20 فَالآبُ يُحِبُّ الابْنَ، ويُريهِ كُلَّ مَا يَعْمَل، وسَيُرِيهِ أَعْمَالاً أَعْظَمَ لِتَتَعَجَّبُوا. 21 فَكَمَا أَنَّ الآبَ يُقِيمُ الـمَوتَى ويُحْيِيهِم، كَذـلِكَ الابْنُ أَيْضًا يُحْيِي مَنْ يَشَاء. 22 فَالآبُ لا يَدِينُ أَحَدًا، بَلْ أَعْطَى الابْنَ أَنْ يَدِينَ الـجَمِيع، 23 لِيُكَرِّمَ الـجَمِيعُ الابْنَ كَمَا يُكَرِّمُونَ الآب. مَنْ لا يُكَرِّمُ الابْنَ لا يُكَرِّمُ الآبَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَهُ.

Lecture French	01 Alors, j’ai vu monter de la mer une Bête ayant dix cornes et sept têtes, avec un diadème sur chacune des dix cornes et, sur les têtes, des noms blasphématoires. 02 Le Dragon lui donna sa puissance et son trône, et un grand pouvoir. 03L’une de ses têtes était comme blessée à mort, mais sa plaie mortelle fut guérie. Émerveillée, la terre entière suivit la Bête, 04 et l’on se prosterna devant le Dragon parce qu’il avait donné le pouvoir à la Bête. Et, devant elle, on se prosterna aussi, en disant : « Qui est comparable à la Bête, et qui peut lui faire la guerre ? » 06 Elle ouvrit la bouche pour proférer des blasphèmes contre Dieu, pour blasphémer contre son nom et sa demeure, contre ceux qui demeurent au ciel. 07 Il lui fut donné de faire la guerre aux saints et de les vaincre, il lui fut donné pouvoir sur toute tribu, peuple, langue et nation. 11 Puis, j’ai vu monter de la terre une autre Bête ; elle avait deux cornes comme un agneau, et elle parlait comme un dragon. 12 Elle exerce tout le pouvoir de la première Bête en sa présence, amenant la terre et tous ceux qui l’habitent à se prosterner devant la première Bête, dont la plaie mortelle a été guérie. 15 Il lui a été donné d’animer l’image de la Bête, au point que cette image se mette à parler, et fasse tuer tous ceux qui ne se prosternent pas devant elle. 16 À tous, petits et grands, riches et pauvres, hommes libres et esclaves, elle fait mettre une marque sur la main droite ou sur le front, 17 afin que personne ne puisse acheter ou vendre, s’il ne porte cette marque-là : le nom de la Bête ou le chiffre de son nom. 18 C’est ici qu’on reconnaît la sagesse. Celui qui a l’intelligence, qu’il se mette à calculer le chiffre de la Bête, car c’est un chiffre d’homme, et ce chiffre est six cent soixante-six.
Evangile French	17 Jésus leur déclara : « Mon Père est toujours à l’œuvre, et moi aussi, je suis à l’œuvre. » 18 C’est pourquoi, de plus en plus, les Juifs cherchaient à le tuer, car non seulement il ne respectait pas le sabbat, mais encore il disait que Dieu était son propre Père, et il se faisait ainsi l’égal de Dieu. 19 Jésus reprit donc la parole. Il leur déclarait : « Amen, amen, je vous le dis : le Fils ne peut rien faire de lui-même, il fait seulement ce qu’il voit faire par le Père ; ce que fait celui-ci, le Fils le fait pareillement. 20 Car le Père aime le Fils et lui montre tout ce qu’il fait. Il lui montrera des œuvres plus grandes encore, si bien que vous serez dans l’étonnement. 21 Comme le Père, en effet, relève les morts et les fait vivre, ainsi le Fils, lui aussi, fait vivre qui il veut. 22 Car le Père ne juge personne : il a donné au Fils tout pouvoir pour juger, 23 afin que tous honorent le Fils comme ils honorent le Père. Celui qui ne rend pas honneur au Fils ne rend pas non plus honneur au Père, qui l’a envoyé.

Lecture English	1 Then I saw a beast come out of the sea with ten horns and seven heads; on its horns were ten diadems, and on its heads blasphemous name[s].a 2 To it the dragon gave its own power and throne, along with great authority. 3 I saw that one of its heads seemed to have been mortally wounded, but this mortal wound was healed.* Fascinated, the whole world followed after the beast. 4 They worshiped the dragon because it gave its authority to the beast; they also worshiped the beast* and said, “Who can compare with the beast or who can fight against it?” 6 It opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling and those who dwell in heaven. 7 It was also allowed to wage war against the holy ones and conquer them, and it was granted authority over every tribe, people, tongue, and nation.d 11 Then I saw another beast come up out of the earth; it had two horns like a lamb’s but spoke like a dragon. 12 It wielded all the authority of the first beast in its sight and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose mortal wound had been healed. 15 It was then permitted to breathe life into the beast’s image, so that the beast’s image could speak and [could] have anyone who did not worship it put to death.i 16 It forced all the people, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to be given a stamped image on their right hands or their foreheads,j 17 so that no one could buy or sell except one who had the stamped image of the beast’s name or the number that stood for its name. 18 * k Wisdom is needed here; one who understands can calculate the number of the beast, for it is a number that stands for a person. His number is six hundred and sixty-six.
Evangile English	17 * But Jesus answered them,i “My Father is at work until now, so I am at work.” 18 For this reason the Jews tried all the more to kill him, because he not only broke the sabbath but he also called God his own father, making himself equal to God.j The Work of the Son. 19 * Jesus answered and said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, a son cannot do anything on his own, but only what he sees his father doing;k for what he does, his son will do also. 20 For the Father loves his Son and shows him everything that he himself does, and he will show him greater works than these, so that you may be amazed.l 21 For just as the Father raises the dead and gives life,* so also does the Son give life to whomever he wishes.m 22 Nor does the Father judge anyone, but he has given all judgment* to his Son,n 23 so that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.
