Lecture Arabic	25 أَمَّا في شَأْنِ البَتُولِيَّة، فَلَيْسَ لي فيهَا أَمْرٌ مِنَ الرَّبّ، لـكِنِّي أُبْدي رَأْيًا، كَرَجُلٍ أَنْعَمَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ بِرَحْمَتِهِ أَنْ يَكُونَ أَمينًا. 26 فأَظُنُّ أَنَّ هـذَا حَسَن، نَظَرًا إِلى الضِّيقِ الـحَاضِر. ويَحْسُنُ بِالإِنْسَانِ أَنْ يَكُونَ هـكَذَا. 27 هَلْ أَنْتَ مُرْتَبِطٌ بِامْرَأَة؟ فَلا تَطْلُبِ الفِرَاق! هَلْ أَنْتَ غَيْرُ مُرْتَبِطٍ بِامْرَأَة؟ فلا تَطْلُبِ امْرَأَة. 28 ولـكِنْ إِذَا تَزَوَّجْتَ فإِنَّكَ لا تَخْطَأ. والفَتَاةُ العَذْرَاءُ إِنْ تَزَوَّجَتْ فإِنَّهَا لا تَخْطَأ. غَيْرَ أَنَّ أَمْثَالَ هـؤُلاءِ سَيُعَانُونَ ضِيقًا في حَيَاتِهِمِ اليَومِيَّة، وإِنِّي لأُ[شْفِقُ عَلَيْكُم. 29 وَأَقُولُ هـذَا، أَيُّهَا الإِخْوَة: إِنَّ الوَقْتَ قَصِير! فالَّذينَ لَهُم نِسَاءٌ فَلْيَكُونُوا كأَنَّهُم لا نِسَاءَ لَهُم، 30 والَّذِينَ يَبْكُونَ كَأَنَّهُم لا يَبْكُون، والَّذِينَ يَفْرَحُونَ كأَنَّهُم لا يَفْرَحُون، والَّذِينَ يَشْتَرُونَ كَأَنَّهُم لا يَمْلِكُون، 31 والَّذينَ يَسْتَفيدُونَ مِنْ هـذَا العَالَمِ كَأَنَّهُم لا يَسْتَفيدُون، لأَنَّ شَكْلَ هـذَا العَالَمِ زَائِل! 32 وأُريدُ أَنْ تَكُونُوا بِلا هَمّ: فَغَيْرُ الـمُتَزَوِّجِ يَهْتَمُّ بِمَا لِلرَّبِّ كَيْفَ يُرْضِي رَبَّهُ. 33 أَمَّا الـمُتَزَوِّجُ فَيَهْتَمُّ بِمَا لِلعَالَمِ كَيْفَ يُرْضِي امْرَأَتَهُ. 34 فهوَ مُجَزَّأ! والـمَرْأَةُ غَيْرُ الـمُتَزَوِّجَةِ والفَتَاةُ العَذْرَاءُ تَهْتَمَّانِ بِمَا لِلرَّبّ، لِتَكُونَا مُقَدَّسَتَيْنِ جَسَدًا ورُوحًا. أَمَّا الـمُتَزَوِّجَةُ فَتَهْتَمُّ بِمَا لِلعَالَمِ كَيْفَ تُرْضي رَجُلَهَا. 35 إِنَّمَا أَقُولُ هـذَا لِخَيْرِكُم، لا لأَنْصِبَ لَكُم فَخًّا، بَلْ لِتَسْعَوا إِلى مَا هوَ كَرِيم، ومَا يَجْعَلُكُم مُلازِمينَ لِلرَّبِّ غَيْرَ مُجَزَّإِين!
Evangile Arabic	24 وضَرَبَ لَهُم مَثَلاً آخَرَ قَائِلاً: "يُشْبِهُ مَلَكُوتُ السَّمَاوَاتِ رَجُلاً زَرَعَ في حَقْلِهِ زَرْعًا جَيِّدًا. 25 وفيمَا النَّاسُ نَائِمُون، جَاءَ عَدُوُّهُ وزَرَعَ زُؤَانًا بَيْنَ القَمْحِ ومَضَى. 26 ولَمَّا نَبَتَ القَمْحُ وأَعْطى سُنْبُلاً، ظَهَرَ الزُّؤَانُ أَيْضًا. 27 ودَنَا عَبِيْدُ رَبِّ البَيْتِ فَقَالُوا لَهُ: يَا سَيِّد، أَمَا زَرَعْتَ في حَقْلِكَ زَرْعًا جَيِّدًا، فَمِنْ أَيْنَ الزُّؤَانُ الَّذي فيه؟ 28 فَقَالَ لَهُم: إِنْسَانٌ عَدُوٌّ فَعَلَ هـذَا. فَقَالَ لَهُ العَبيد: أَتُريدُ أَنْ نَذْهَبَ فَنَجْمَعَ الزُّؤَان؟ 29 فَقَالَ: لا! لِئَلاَّ تَقْلَعُوا القَمْحَ وأَنْتُم تَجْمَعُونَ الزُّؤَان. 30 دَعُوهُمَا يَنْمُوَانِ مَعًا حَتَّى الـحِصَاد. وفي وقْتِ الـحِصَادِ أَقُولُ لِلْحَصَّادِين: إِجْمَعُوا الزُّؤَانَ أَوَّلاً، وَارْبُطُوهُ حِزَمًا لِيُحْرَق. أَمَّا القَمْحُ فَاجْمَعُوهُ إِلى أَهْرَائِي".

Lecture French	25 Au sujet du célibat, je n’ai pas un ordre du Seigneur, mais je donne mon avis, moi qui suis devenu digne de confiance grâce à la miséricorde du Seigneur. 26 Je pense que le célibat est une chose bonne, étant donné les nécessités présentes ; oui, c’est une chose bonne de vivre ainsi. 27 Tu es marié ? ne cherche pas à te séparer de ta femme. Tu n’as pas de femme ? ne cherche pas à te marier. 28 Si cependant tu te maries, ce n’est pas un péché ; et si une jeune fille se marie, ce n’est pas un péché. Mais ceux qui font ce choix y trouveront les épreuves correspondantes, et c’est cela que moi, je voudrais vous éviter. 29 Frères, je dois vous le dire : le temps est limité. Dès lors, que ceux qui ont une femme soient comme s’ils n’avaient pas de femme, 30 ceux qui pleurent, comme s’ils ne pleuraient pas, ceux qui ont de la joie, comme s’ils n’en avaient pas, ceux qui font des achats, comme s’ils ne possédaient rien, 31 ceux qui profitent de ce monde, comme s’ils n’en profitaient pas vraiment. Car il passe, ce monde tel que nous le voyons. 32 J’aimerais vous voir libres de tout souci. Celui qui n’est pas marié a le souci des affaires du Seigneur, il cherche comment plaire au Seigneur. 33 Celui qui est marié a le souci des affaires de ce monde, il cherche comment plaire à sa femme, et il se trouve divisé. 34 La femme sans mari, ou celle qui reste vierge, a le souci des affaires du Seigneur, afin d’être sanctifiée dans son corps et son esprit. Celle qui est mariée a le souci des affaires de ce monde, elle cherche comment plaire à son mari. 35 C’est dans votre intérêt que je dis cela ; ce n’est pas pour vous tendre un piège, mais pour vous proposer ce qui est bien, afin que vous soyez attachés au Seigneur sans partage.
Evangile French	24 Il leur proposa une autre parabole : « Le royaume des Cieux est comparable à un homme qui a semé du bon grain dans son champ. 25 Or, pendant que les gens dormaient, son ennemi survint ; il sema de l’ivraie au milieu du blé et s’en alla. 26 Quand la tige poussa et produisit l’épi, alors l’ivraie apparut aussi. 27 Les serviteurs du maître vinrent lui dire : “Seigneur, n’est-ce pas du bon grain que tu as semé dans ton champ ? D’où vient donc qu’il y a de l’ivraie ?” 28 Il leur dit : “C’est un ennemi qui a fait cela.” Les serviteurs lui disent : “Veux-tu donc que nous allions l’enlever ?” 29 Il répond : “Non, en enlevant l’ivraie, vous risquez d’arracher le blé en même temps. 30 Laissez-les pousser ensemble jusqu’à la moisson ; et, au temps de la moisson, je dirai aux moissonneurs : Enlevez d’abord l’ivraie, liez-la en bottes pour la brûler ; quant au blé, ramassez-le pour le rentrer dans mon grenier.” »

Lecture English	25 Now in regard to virgins, I have no commandment from the Lord,* but I give my opinion as one who by the Lord’s mercy is trustworthy. 26 So this is what I think best because of the present distress: that it is a good thing for a person to remain as he is.i 27 Are you bound to a wife? Do not seek a separation. Are you free of a wife? Then do not look for a wife. 28 If you marry, however, you do not sin, nor does an unmarried woman sin if she marries; but such people will experience affliction in their earthly life, and I would like to spare you that. 29 * I tell you, brothers, the time is running out. From now on, let those having wives act as not having them,j 30 those weeping as not weeping, those rejoicing as not rejoicing, those buying as not owning, 31 those using the world as not using it fully. For the world in its present form is passing away. 32 I should like you to be free of anxieties. An unmarried man is anxious about the things of the Lord, how he may please the Lord. 33 But a married man is anxious about the things of the world, how he may please his wife,k 34 and he is divided. An unmarried woman or a virgin is anxious about the things of the Lord, so that she may be holy in both body and spirit. A married woman, on the other hand, is anxious about the things of the world, how she may please her husband.l 35 I am telling you this for your own benefit, not to impose a restraint upon you, but for the sake of propriety and adherence to the Lord without distraction.m
Evangile English	24 He proposed another parable to them.* “The kingdom of heaven may be likened to a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25 While everyone was asleep his enemy came and sowed weeds* all through the wheat, and then went off. 26 When the crop grew and bore fruit, the weeds appeared as well. 27 The slaves of the householder came to him and said, ‘Master, did you not sow good seed in your field? Where have the weeds come from?’ 28 He answered, ‘An enemy has done this.’ His slaves said to him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’ 29 He replied, ‘No, if you pull up the weeds you might uproot the wheat along with them. 30 Let them grow together until harvest;* then at harvest time I will say to the harvesters, “First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles for burning; but gather the wheat into my barn.”’”g
