Lecture Arabic	5 فَنَحْنُ لا نُبَشِّرُ بِأَنْفُسِنَا، بَلْ نُبَشِّرُ بِيَسُوعَ الـمَسِيحِ رَبًّا، وبِأَنْفُسِنَا عَبِيدًا لَكُم مِنْ أَجْلِ يَسُوع؛ 6 لأَنَّ اللهَ الَّذي قَال: "لِيُشْرِقْ مِنَ الظُّلْمَةِ نُور!"، هُوَ الَّذي أَشْرَقَ في قُلُوبِنَا، لِنَسْتَنِيرَ فَنَعْرِفَ مَجْدَ اللهِ الـمُتَجَلِّيَ في وَجْهِ الـمَسِيح. 7 ولـكِنَّنَا نَحْمِلُ هـذَا الكَنْزَ في آنِيَةٍ مِنْ خَزَف، لِيَظْهَرَ أَنَّ تِلْكَ القُدْرَةَ الفَائِقَةَ هِيَ مِنَ اللهِ لا مِنَّا. 8 يُضَيَّقُ عَلَيْنَا مِنْ كُلِّ جِهَةٍ ولـكِنَّنَا لا نُسْحَق، نَحْتَارُ في أَمْرِنَا ولـكِنَّنَا لا نَيْأَس، 9 نُضْطَهَدُ ولـكِنَّنَا لا نُهْمَل، نُنْبَذُ ولـكِنَّنَا لا نَهْلِك، 10 ونَحْمِلُ في جَسَدِنَا كُلَّ حِينٍ مَوْتَ يَسُوع، لِكَيْ تَظْهَرَ حَيَاةُ يَسُوعَ أَيْضًا في جَسَدِنَا؛ 11 فَإِنَّنَا نَحْنُ الأَحْيَاءَ نُسْلَمُ دَوْمًا إِلى الـمَوْت، مِنْ أَجْلِ يَسُوع، لِكَيْ تَظْهَرَ حَيَاةُ يَسُوعَ أَيْضًا في جَسَدِنَا الـمَائِت. 12 فَالـمَوْتُ يَعْمَلُ فينَا، والـحَيَاةُ تَعْمَلُ فيكُم. 13 ولـكِنْ بِمَا أَنَّ لَنَا رُوحَ الإِيْمَانِ عَيْنَهُ، كَمَا هوَ مَكْتُوب: "آمَنْتُ، ولِذـلِكَ تَكَلَّمْتُ"، فَنَحْنُ أَيْضًا نُؤْمِن، ولِذـلِكَ نَتَكَلَّم. 14 ونَحْنُ نَعْلَمُ أَنَّ ذـلِكَ الَّذي أَقَامَ الرَّبَّ يَسُوع، سَيُقِيمُنَا نَحْنُ أَيْضًا مَعَ يَسُوع، وَيَجْعَلُنَا وإِيَّاكُم في حَضْرَتِهِ. 15 فَكُلُّ شَيءٍ هُوَ مِنْ أَجْلِكُم، لِكَي تَكْثُرَ النِّعْمَة، فَيَفِيضَ الشُّكْرُ في قُلُوبِ الكَثِيرينَ لِمَجْدِ الله.
Evangile Arabic	35 في الغَدِ أَيْضًا كَانَ يُوحَنَّا وَاقِفًا هُوَ واثْنَانِ مِنْ تَلاميذِهِ. 36 ورَأَى يَسُوعَ مَارًّا فَحَدَّقَ إِليهِ وقَال: "هَا هُوَ حَمَلُ الله". 37 وسَمِعَ التِّلْمِيذَانِ كَلامَهُ، فَتَبِعَا يَسُوع. 38 والتَفَتَ يَسُوع، فرَآهُمَا يَتْبَعَانِهِ، فَقَالَ لَهُمَا: "مَاذَا تَطْلُبَان؟" قَالا لَهُ: "رَابِّي، أَي يَا مُعَلِّم، أَيْنَ تُقِيم؟". 39 قالَ لَهُمَا: " تَعَالَيَا وانْظُرَا". فَذَهَبَا ونَظَرَا أَيْنَ يُقِيم. وأَقَامَا عِنْدَهُ ذـلِكَ اليَوم، وكَانَتِ السَّاعَةُ نَحْوَ الرَّابِعَةِ بَعْدَ الظُّهر. 40 وكَانَ أَنْدرَاوُسُ أَخُو سِمْعَانَ بُطْرُسَ أَحَدَ التِّلمِيذَيْن، اللَّذَيْنِ سَمِعَا كَلامَ يُوحَنَّا وتَبِعَا يَسُوع. 41 ولَقِيَ أَوَّلاً أَخَاهُ سِمْعَان، فَقَالَ لَهُ: "وَجَدْنَا مَشيحَا، أَيِ الـمَسِيح". 42 وجَاءَ بِهِ إِلى يَسُوع، فَحَدَّقَ يَسُوعُ إِليهِ وقَال: "أَنْتَ هُوَ سِمْعَانُ بْنُ يُونا، أَنتَ سَتُدعى كيفا، أَي بُطرُسَ الصَّخْرَة".

Lecture French	05 En effet, ce que nous proclamons, ce n’est pas nous-mêmes ; c’est ceci : Jésus Christ est le Seigneur ; et nous sommes vos serviteurs, à cause de Jésus. 06 Car Dieu qui a dit : Du milieu des ténèbres brillera la lumière, a lui-même brillé dans nos cœurs pour faire resplendir la connaissance de sa gloire qui rayonne sur le visage du Christ. 07 Mais ce trésor, nous le portons comme dans des vases d’argile ; ainsi, on voit bien que cette puissance extraordinaire appartient à Dieu et ne vient pas de nous. 08 En toute circonstance, nous sommes dans la détresse, mais sans être angoissés ; nous sommes déconcertés, mais non désemparés ; 09 nous sommes pourchassés, mais non pas abandonnés ; terrassés, mais non pas anéantis. 10 Toujours nous portons, dans notre corps, la mort de Jésus, afin que la vie de Jésus, elle aussi, soit manifestée dans notre corps. 11 En effet, nous, les vivants, nous sommes continuellement livrés à la mort à cause de Jésus, afin que la vie de Jésus, elle aussi, soit manifestée dans notre condition charnelle vouée à la mort. 12 Ainsi la mort fait son œuvre en nous, et la vie en vous. 13 L’Écriture dit : J’ai cru, c’est pourquoi j’ai parlé. Et nous aussi, qui avons le même esprit de foi, nous croyons, et c’est pourquoi nous parlons. 14 Car, nous le savons, celui qui a ressuscité le Seigneur Jésus nous ressuscitera, nous aussi, avec Jésus, et il nous placera près de lui avec vous. 15 Et tout cela, c’est pour vous, afin que la grâce, plus largement répandue dans un plus grand nombre, fasse abonder l’action de grâce pour la gloire de Dieu.
Evangile French	35 Le lendemain encore, Jean se trouvait là avec deux de ses disciples. 36 Posant son regard sur Jésus qui allait et venait, il dit : « Voici l’Agneau de Dieu. » 37 Les deux disciples entendirent ce qu’il disait, et ils suivirent Jésus. 38 Se retournant, Jésus vit qu’ils le suivaient, et leur dit : « Que cherchez-vous ? » Ils lui répondirent : « Rabbi – ce qui veut dire : Maître –, où demeures-tu ? » 39 Il leur dit : « Venez, et vous verrez. » Ils allèrent donc, ils virent où il demeurait, et ils restèrent auprès de lui ce jour-là. C’était vers la dixième heure (environ quatre heures de l’après-midi). 40 André, le frère de Simon-Pierre, était l’un des deux disciples qui avaient entendu la parole de Jean et qui avaient suivi Jésus. 41 Il trouve d’abord Simon, son propre frère, et lui dit : « Nous avons trouvé le Messie » – ce qui veut dire : Christ. 42 André amena son frère à Jésus. Jésus posa son regard sur lui et dit : « Tu es Simon, fils de Jean ; tu t’appelleras Kèphas » – ce qui veut dire : Pierre.

Lecture English	5 For we do not preach ourselves* but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your slaves for the sake of Jesus. 6 * For God who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to bring to light the knowledge of the glory of God on the face of [Jesus] Christ.d The Paradox of the Ministry. 7 * But we hold this treasure* in earthen vessels, that the surpassing power may be of God and not from us. 8 * We are afflicted in every way, but not constrained; perplexed, but not driven to despair;e 9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed; 10 * f always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our body. 11 For we who live are constantly being given up to death for the sake of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may be manifested in our mortal flesh.g 12 * So death is at work in us, but life in you. 13 * Since, then, we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed, therefore I spoke,” we too believe and therefore speak,h 14 knowing that the one who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and place us with you in his presence.i 15 Everything indeed is for you, so that the grace bestowed in abundance on more and more people may cause the thanksgiving to overflow for the glory of God.j
Evangile English	35 The next day John was there again with two of his disciples, 36 and as he watched Jesus walk by, he said, “Behold, the Lamb of God.”* 37 The two disciples* heard what he said and followed Jesus. 38 Jesus turned and saw them following him and said to them, “What are you looking for?” They said to him, “Rabbi” (which translated means Teacher), “where are you staying?” 39 He said to them, “Come, and you will see.” So they went and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day. It was about four in the afternoon.* 40 Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter, was one of the two who heard John and followed Jesus. 41 He first found his own brother Simon and told him, “We have found the Messiah”* (which is translated Anointed).z 42 Then he brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, “You are Simon the son of John;* you will be called Cephas” (which is translated Peter).a
