Lecture Arabic	23 فَقَبْلَ أَنْ يَأْتيَ الإِيْمَان، كُنَّا مُحْتَجَزِينَ مَحبُوسِينَ تَحْتَ الشَّرِيعَة، إِلى أَنْ يُعْلَنَ الإِيْمَانُ الـمُنْتَظَر. 24 إِذًا فَالشَّرِيعَةُ كَانَتْ لَنَا مُؤَدِّبًا يَقُودُنَا إِلى الـمَسِيح، لِكَيْ نُبَرَّرَ بِالإِيْمَان. 25 فَلَمَّا أَتَى الإِيْمَان، لَمْ نَعُدْ تَحْتَ مُؤَدِّب؛ 26 لأَنَّكُم جَمِيعًا أَبْنَاءُ اللهِ بَالإِيْمَان، في الـمَسِيحِ يَسُوع. 27 فأَنْتُم جَمِيعَ الَّذِينَ اعْتَمَدْتُم في الـمَسِيحِ قَدْ لَبِسْتُمُ الـمَسِيح. 28 فلا يَهُودِيٌّ بَعْدُ ولا يُونَانِيّ، لا عَبْدٌ ولا حُرّ، لاَ ذَكَرٌ ولا أُنْثَى، فإِنَّكُم جَمِيعًا وَاحِدٌ في الـمَسِيحِ يَسُوع. 29 فَإِنْ كُنْتُم لِلمَسِيح، فأَنْتُم إِذًا نَسْلُ إِبْراهِيم، ووَارِثُونَ بِحَسَبِ الوَعْد.
Evangile Arabic	1 كانَ إِنْسَانٌ مِنَ الفَرِّيسيِّينَ اسْمُهُ نِيقُودِيْمُوس، رَئِيسٌ لِليَهُود. 2 هـذَا جَاءَ لَيْلاً إِلى يَسُوعَ وقَالَ لَهُ: "رَابِّي، نَحْنُ نَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ جِئْتَ مِنَ اللهِ مُعَلِّمًا، لأَنَّهُ لا أَحَدَ يَقْدِرُ أَنْ يَصْنَعَ الآيَاتِ الَّتِي أَنْتَ تَصْنَعُهَا مَا لَمْ يَكُنِ اللهُ مَعَهُ". 3 أَجَابَ يَسُوعُ وقَالَ لَهُ: "أَلْحَقَّ الْحَقَّ أَقُولُ لَكَ: لا أَحَدَ يَقْدِرُ أَنْ يَرَى مَلَكُوتَ اللهِ مَا لَمْ يُولَدْ مِنْ جَدِيد". 4 قَالَ لَهُ نِيقُودِيْمُوس: "كَيْفَ يَقْدِرُ إِنْسَانٌ أَنْ يُولَدَ وهُوَ كَبِيرٌ في السِّنّ؟ هَلْ يَقْدِرُ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ ثَانِيَةً حَشَا أُمِّهِ، ويُولَد؟". 5 أَجَابَ يَسُوع: "أَلْحَقَّ الْحَقَّ أَقُولُ لَكَ، لا أَحَدَ يَقْدِرُ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ مَلَكُوتَ اللهِ مَا لَمْ يُولَدْ مِنَ الـمَاءِ والرُّوح. 6 مَولُودُ الـجَسَدِ جَسَد، ومَوْلُودُ الرُّوحِ رُوح. 7 لا تَعْجَبْ إِنْ قُلْتُ لَكَ: عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ تُولَدُوا مِنْ جَدِيد. 8 أَلرِّيحُ تَهُبُّ حَيْثُ تَشَاء، وأَنْتَ تَسْمَعُ صَوتَهَا، لـكِنَّكَ لا تَعْلَمُ مِنْ أَيْنَ تَأْتِي ولا إِلى أَيْنَ تَمْضِي: هـكَذَا كُلُّ مَوْلُودٍ مِنَ الرُّوح". 9 أَجَابَ نِيقُودِيْمُوسُ وقَالَ لَهُ: "كَيْفَ يُمْكِنُ أَنْ يَصِير هـذَا؟". 10 أَجَابَ يَسُوعُ وقَالَ لَهُ: "أَنْتَ مُعَلِّمُ إِسْرَائِيلَ وتَجْهَلُ هـذَا؟ 11 أَلْحَقَّ الْحَقَّ أَقُولُ لَكَ: نَحْنُ نَنْطِقُ بِمَا نَعْلَم، ونَشْهَدُ بِمَا رَأَيْنَا، وأَنْتُم لا تَقْبَلُونَ شَهَادَتَنَا. 12 كَلَّمْتُكُم في شُؤُونِ الأَرْضِ ولا تُؤْمِنُون، فَكَيْفَ تُؤْمِنُونَ إِذَا كَلَّمْتُكُم في شُؤُونِ السَّمَاء؟ 13 مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ صَعِدَ إِلى السَّمَاء، إِلاَّ الَّذي نَزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاء، أَي إِبْنُ الإِنْسَان. 14 وكَمَا رَفَعَ مُوسَى الـحَيَّةَ في البَرِّيَّة، كَذـلِكَ يَجِبُ أَنْ يُرْفَعَ ابْنُ الإِنْسَان، 15 لِكَي تَكُونَ لِكُلِّ مُؤْمِنٍ بِهِ حَيَاةٌ أَبَدِيَّة. 16 هـكَذَا أَحَبَّ اللهُ العَالَم، حتَّى إِنَّهُ جَادَ بِابنِهِ الوَحِيد، لِكَي لا يَهْلِكَ أَيُّ مُؤْمِنٍ بِهِ، بَلْ تَكُونُ لَهُ حَيَاةٌ أَبَدِيَّة.

Lecture French	23 Le fils de la servante a été engendré selon la chair ; celui de la femme libre l’a été en raison d’une promesse de Dieu. 24 Ces événements ont un sens symbolique : les deux femmes sont les deux Alliances. La première Alliance, celle du mont Sinaï, qui met au monde des enfants esclaves, c’est Agar, la servante. 25 Agar est le mont Sinaï en Arabie, elle correspond à la Jérusalem actuelle, elle qui est esclave ainsi que ses enfants, 26 tandis que la Jérusalem d’en haut est libre, et c’est elle, notre mère. 27 L’Écriture dit en effet : Réjouis-toi, femme stérile, toi qui n’enfantes pas ; éclate en cris de joie, toi qui ne connais pas les douleurs de l’enfantement, car les enfants de la femme délaissée sont plus nombreux que ceux de la femme qui a son mari. 28 Et vous, frères, vous êtes, comme Isaac, des enfants de la promesse. 29 Mais de même qu’autrefois le fils engendré selon la chair persécutait le fils engendré selon l’Esprit, de même en est-il aujourd’hui.
Evangile French	01 Il y avait un homme, un pharisien nommé Nicodème ; c’était un notable parmi les Juifs. 02 Il vint trouver Jésus pendant la nuit. Il lui dit : « Rabbi, nous le savons, c’est de la part de Dieu que tu es venu comme un maître qui enseigne, car personne ne peut accomplir les signes que toi, tu accomplis, si Dieu n’est pas avec lui. » 03 Jésus lui répondit : « Amen, amen, je te le dis : à moins de naître d’en haut, on ne peut voir le royaume de Dieu. » 04 Nicodème lui répliqua : « Comment un homme peut-il naître quand il est vieux ? Peut-il entrer une deuxième fois dans le sein de sa mère et renaître ? » 05 Jésus répondit : « Amen, amen, je te le dis : personne, à moins de naître de l’eau et de l’Esprit, ne peut entrer dans le royaume de Dieu. 06 Ce qui est né de la chair est chair ; ce qui est né de l’Esprit est esprit. 07 Ne sois pas étonné si je t’ai dit : il vous faut naître d’en haut. 08 Le vent souffle où il veut : tu entends sa voix, mais tu ne sais ni d’où il vient ni où il va. Il en est ainsi pour qui est né du souffle de l’Esprit. » 09 Nicodème reprit : « Comment cela peut-il se faire ? » 10 Jésus lui répondit : « Tu es un maître qui enseigne Israël et tu ne connais pas ces choses-là ? 11 Amen, amen, je te le dis : nous parlons de ce que nous savons, nous témoignons de ce que nous avons vu, et vous ne recevez pas notre témoignage. 12 Si vous ne croyez pas lorsque je vous parle des choses de la terre, comment croirez-vous quand je vous parlerai des choses du ciel ? 13 Car nul n’est monté au ciel sinon celui qui est descendu du ciel, le Fils de l’homme. 14 De même que le serpent de bronze fut élevé par Moïse dans le désert, ainsi faut-il que le Fils de l’homme soit élevé, 15 afin qu’en lui tout homme qui croit ait la vie éternelle. 16 Car Dieu a tellement aimé le monde qu’il a donné son Fils unique, afin que quiconque croit en lui ne se perde pas, mais obtienne la vie éternelle.

Lecture English	23 Before faith came, we were held in custody under law, confined for the faith that was to be revealed.v 24 Consequently, the law was our disciplinarian* for Christ, that we might be justified by faith.w 25 But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a disciplinarian.x 26 For through faith you are all children of God* in Christ Jesus.y 27 * For all of you who were baptized into Christz have clothed yourselves with Christ.* 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free person, there is not male and female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.a 29 And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendant, heirs according to the promise.b
Evangile English	1 a Now there was a Pharisee named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.* 2 He came to Jesus at night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God, for no one can do these signs that you are doing unless God is with him.”b 3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born* from above.” 4 Nicodemus said to him, “How can a person once grown old be born again? Surely he cannot reenter his mother’s womb and be born again, can he?”c 5 Jesus answered, “Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and Spirit.d 6 What is born of flesh is flesh and what is born of spirit is spirit.e 7 Do not be amazed that I told you, ‘You must be born from above.’ 8 The wind* blows where it wills, and you can hear the sound it makes, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes; so it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”f 9 Nicodemus answered and said to him, “How can this happen?” 10 Jesus answered and said to him, “You are the teacher of Israel and you do not understand this? 11 Amen, amen, I say to you, we speak of what we know and we testify to what we have seen, but you people do not accept our testimony.g 12 If I tell you about earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you about heavenly things?h 13 No one has gone up to heaven except the one who has come down from heaven, the Son of Man.i 14 And just as Moses lifted up* the serpent in the desert, so must the Son of Man be lifted up,j 15 * so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.” 16 For God so loved the world that he gave* his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life.k
