Lecture Arabic	9 ونَحْنُ، أَيُّهَا الأَحِبَّاء، وإِنْ كُنَّا نُكَلِّمُكُم هـكَذا، فإِنَّنَا وَاثِقُونَ مِن جِهَتِكُم، أَنَّكُم في حَالٍ أَفْضَلَ وأَضْمَنَ لِلخَلاص. 10 فإِنَّ اللهَ لَيْسَ بَظَالِمٍ حَتَّى يَنْسَى عَمَلَكُم، والـمَحَبَّةَ الـَّتي أَظْهَرْتُمُوهَا مِن أَجْلِ اسْمِهِ، حِينَ خَدَمْتُمُ القِدِّيسِينَ ومَا زِلْتُم تَخْدُمُونَهُم. 11 ولـكِنَّنَا نَوَدُّ أَنْ يُظْهِرَ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْكُم هـذَا الاجْتِهَادَ عَيْنَهُ، لِكَي يُحَافِظَ حَتَّى النِّهَايَةِ على مِلْءِ يَقِينِ رَجَائِهِ. 12 وذـلِكَ لِئَلاَّ تَصِيرُوا مُتَباطِئِين، بَلْ لِتَقْتَدُوا بِالَّذِينَ بإِيْمَانِهِم وَطُولِ أَنَاتِهِم، يَرِثُونَ الوُعُود.
Evangile Arabic	36 وكَانَتْ هُنَاكَ نَبِيَّةٌ طَاعِنَةٌ جِدًّا في أَيَّامِهَا، هِيَ حَنَّةُ بِنْتُ فَنُوئِيل، مِنْ سِبْطِ أَشِير، عَاشَتْ مَعَ زَوْجِهَا سَبْعَ سَنَوَاتٍ مُنْذُ بَكَارَتِهَا، 37 ثُمَّ بَقِيَتْ أَرْمَلةً حتَّى الرَّابِعَةِ والثَّمَانِينَ مِنْ عُمْرِهَا، لا تُفَارِقُ الـهَيْكَلَ مُتَعَبِّدَةً بِالصَّوْمِ والصَّلاةِ لَيْلَ نَهَار. 38 فَحَضَرَتْ في تِلْكَ السَّاعَة، وأَخَذَتْ تُسَبِّحُ الرَّبّ، وتُحَدِّثُ عنِ الطِّفْلِ جَمِيعَ الـمُنْتَظِرينَ فِدَاءَ أُورَشَلِيم. 39 ولَمَّا أَتَمَّ يُوسُفُ ومَريَمُ كُلَّ ما تَقتَضِيهِ شَرِيعَةُ الرَّبّ، عَادَا بِيَسُوعَ إِلى الـجَلِيل، إِلى النَّاصِرَةِ مَدِينَتِهِم. 40 وكانَ الطِّفْلُ يَكْبُرُ ويَتَقَوَّى ويَمْتَلِئُ حِكْمَة. وكَانَتْ نِعْمَةُ اللهِ عَلَيْه.

Lecture French	09 En ce qui vous concerne, mes bien-aimés, et malgré ce que nous venons de dire, nous sommes convaincus que vous êtes dans la meilleure de ces situations, celle qui est liée au salut. 10 Car Dieu n’est pas injuste : il n’oublie pas votre action ni l’amour que vous avez manifesté à son égard, en vous mettant au service des fidèles et en vous y tenant. 11 Notre désir est que chacun d’entre vous manifeste le même empressement jusqu’à la fin, pour que votre espérance se réalise pleinement ; 12 ne devenez pas paresseux, imitez plutôt ceux qui, par la foi et la persévérance, obtiennent l’héritage promis.
Evangile French	36 Il y avait aussi une femme prophète, Anne, fille de Phanuel, de la tribu d’Aser. Elle était très avancée en âge ; après sept ans de mariage, 37 demeurée veuve, elle était arrivée à l’âge de quatre-vingt-quatre ans. Elle ne s’éloignait pas du Temple, servant Dieu jour et nuit dans le jeûne et la prière. 38 Survenant à cette heure même, elle proclamait les louanges de Dieu et parlait de l’enfant à tous ceux qui attendaient la délivrance de Jérusalem. 39 Lorsqu’ils eurent achevé tout ce que prescrivait la loi du Seigneur, ils retournèrent en Galilée, dans leur ville de Nazareth. 40 L’enfant, lui, grandissait et se fortifiait, rempli de sagesse, et la grâce de Dieu était sur lui.

Lecture English	9 But we are sure in your regard, beloved, of better things related to salvation, even though we speak in this way. 10 For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love you have demonstrated for his name by having served and continuing to serve the holy ones. 11 We earnestly desire each of you to demonstrate the same eagerness for the fulfillment of hope until the end,g 12 so that you may not become sluggish, but imitators of those who, through faith and patience,h are inheriting the promises.*
Evangile English	36 There was also a prophetess, Anna, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was advanced in years, having lived seven years with her husband after her marriage, 37 and then as a widow until she was eighty-four. She never left the temple, but worshiped night and day with fasting and prayer. 38 And coming forward at that very time, she gave thanks to God and spoke about the child to all who were awaiting the redemption of Jerusalem.m The Return to Nazareth. 39 When they had fulfilled all the prescriptions of the law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee, to their own town of Nazareth.n 40 The child grew and became strong, filled with wisdom; and the favor of God was upon him.o
