Lecture Arabic	9 وَلَمَّا فَتَحَ الـخـَتْمَ الـخَامِس، رَأَيْتُ تَحْتَ الـمَذبَحِ نُفُوسَ الْمَذبُوحِينَ مِنْ أَجْلِ كَلِمَةِ اللهِ وَمِنْ أَجْلِ الشَّهادَةِ الَّتي شَهِدُوهَا. 10 وَصَاحُوا بِصَوْتٍ عَظِيمٍ قائِلِين: "حَتَّى مَتَى، أَيُّهَا السَّيِّدُ القُدُّوسُ الـحـَقّ، لا تَدِينُ سُكَّانَ الأَرْض، وَتَنْتَقِمُ مِنْهُم لِدَمِنَا؟". 11 فَأُعطِيَ لَهُم، لِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُم، حُلَّةٌ بَيْضَاء، وَقِيلَ لَهُم أَنْ يَسْتَرِيـحُوا بَعْدُ وَقْتًا قَلِيلاً، إِلى أَنْ يَكْتَمِلَ عَدَدُ رِفَاقِهِمْ في الـخِدْمَة، وَإِخْوَتِهِمِ الَّذِينَ سَيُقْتَلُونَ هُمْ أَيْضًا مِثْلَهُم. 12 وَرَأَيْتُ، لَمَّا فَتَحَ الـخَتْمَ السَّادِس، فإِذَا زَلْزَالٌ عَظِيمٌ قَدْ حَدَثَ، وَصَارَتِ الشَّمْسُ سَوْدَاءَ كَمِسْحٍ مِنْ شَعْر، وَصَارَ القَمَرُ كُلُّهُ مِثْلَ الدَّم، 13 وَسَقَطَتْ كَوَاكِبُ السَّمَاءِ على الأَرْض، كَمَا تُسْقِطُ التِّينَةُ ثِمَارَهَا الفَجَّة، حِينَ تَهُزُّهَا رِيحٌ عاصِفَة، 14 وَانْطَوَتِ السَّمَاءُ كَمَا يُطْوَى الكِتَاب، وزُحْزِحَ كُلُّ جَبَلٍ وَجَزِيرَةٍ من مَوَاضِعِها، 15 وَمُلُوكُ الأَرْضِ والعُظَمَاءُ والقُوَّادُ والأَغْنِيَاءُ والأَقْوِيَاء، وكُلُّ عَبْدٍ وحُرّ، اخْتَبَأُوا في الـمَغَاوِرِ وصُخُورِ الـجـِبَال، 16 وهُم يَقُولُون لِلجِـبَالِ والصُّخُور: "أُسْقُطِي عَلَيْنا وَخَبِّئِينا مِنْ وَجْهِ الـجَالِسِ عَلَى العَرْش، وَمِنْ غَضَبِ الـحَمَل!"؛ 17 لأَنَّ يَومَ غَضَبِهِ العَظِيمَ قد أَتَى، فَمَنْ يَسْتَطِيعُ الوُقُوف؟
Evangile Arabic	43 إِنَّ الرُّوحَ النَّجِس، إِذَا خَرَجَ مِنَ الإِنْسَان، يَطُوفُ في أَمَاكِنَ لا مَاءَ فيهَا، يَطْلُبُ الرَّاحَةَ فلا يَجِدُهَا. 44 حينَئِذٍ يَقُول: سَأَعُودُ إِلى بَيْتِي الَّذي خَرَجْتُ مِنْهُ. ويَعُودُ فَيَجِدُهُ خَالِيًا، مَكْنُوسًا، مُزَيَّنًا. 45 حينَئِذٍ يَذْهَبُ ويَجْلُبُ مَعَهُ سَبْعَةَ أَرْوَاحٍ آخَرِينَ أَكْثَرَ مِنْهُ شَرًّا، ويَدْخُلُونَ ويَسْكُنُونَ في ذـلِكَ الإِنْسَان، فَتَكُونُ حَالَتُهُ الأَخِيْرَةُ أَسْوَأَ مِنْ حَالَتِهِ الأُولى. هـكَذَا سَيَكُونُ أَيْضًا لِهـذَا الـجِيلِ الشِّرِّير!".

Lecture French	09 Et quand il ouvrit le cinquième sceau, je vis sous l’autel les âmes de ceux qui furent égorgés à cause de la parole de Dieu et du témoignage qu’ils avaient porté. 10 Ils crièrent d’une voix forte : « Jusques à quand, Maître saint et vrai,resteras-tu sans juger, sans venger notre sang sur les habitants de la terre ? » 11 Et il fut donné à chacun une robe blanche, et il leur fut dit de patienter encore quelque temps, jusqu’à ce que soient au complet leurs compagnons de service, leurs frères, qui allaient être tués comme eux. 12 Alors j’ai vu : quand il ouvrit le sixième sceau, il y eut un grand tremblement de terre, le soleil devint noir comme une étoffe de crin, et la lune entière, comme du sang, 13 et les étoiles du ciel tombèrent sur la terre comme lorsqu’un figuier secoué par grand vent jette ses fruits. 14 Le ciel se retira comme un livre qu’on referme ; toutes les montagnes et les îles furent déplacées. 15 Les rois de la terre et les grands, les chefs d’armée, les riches et les puissants, tous les esclaves et les hommes libres allèrent se cacher dans les cavernes et les rochers des montagnes. 16 Et ils disaient aux montagnes et aux rochers : « Tombez sur nous, et cachez-nous du regard de celui qui siège sur le Trône et aussi de la colère de l’Agneau. 17 Car il est venu, le grand jour de leur colère, et qui pourrait tenir ? »
Evangile French	43 Quand l’esprit impur est sorti de l’homme, il parcourt des lieux arides en cherchant où se reposer, et il ne trouve pas. 44 Alors il se dit : “Je vais retourner dans ma maison, d’où je suis sorti.” En arrivant, il la trouve inoccupée, balayée et bien rangée. 45 Alors il s’en va, il prend avec lui sept autres esprits, encore plus mauvais que lui ; ils y entrent et s’y installent. Ainsi, l’état de cet homme-là est pire à la fin qu’au début. Voilà ce qui arrivera à cette génération mauvaise. »

Lecture English	9 When he broke open the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar* the souls of those who had been slaughtered because of the witness they bore to the word of God. 10 They cried out in a loud voice, “How long will it be, holy and true master,* before you sit in judgment and avenge our blood on the inhabitants of the earth?” 11 Each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to be patient a little while longer until the number was filled of their fellow servants and brothers who were going to be killed as they had been. 12 * Then I watched while he broke open the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; the sun turned as black as dark sackcloth* and the whole moon became like blood.e 13 The stars in the sky fell to the earth like unripe figs* shaken loose from the tree in a strong wind. 14 Then the sky was divided* like a torn scroll curling up, and every mountain and island was moved from its place.f 15 The kings of the earth, the nobles,* the military officers, the rich, the powerful, and every slave and free person hid themselves in caves and among mountain crags. 16 They cried out to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb,g 17 because the great day of their* wrath has come and who can withstand it?”
Evangile English	43 w “When an unclean spirit goes out of a person it roams through arid regions searching for rest but finds none. 44 Then it says, ‘I will return to my home from which I came.’ But upon returning, it finds it empty, swept clean, and put in order. 45 Then it goes and brings back with itself seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they move in and dwell there; and the last condition of that person is worse than the first. Thus it will be with this evil generation.”
