Lecture Arabic	1 بَعْدَ ذـلِكَ سَمْعْتُ كَأَنَّ صَوْتًا عَظِيمًا لِجَمْعٍ غَفِيرٍ في السَّمَاءِ قَائِلِين: "هَلِلُويَا! أَلْـخَلاصُ والـمَجْدُ والقُدْرَةُ لإِلـهِنَا! 2 لأَنَّ أَحْكَامَهُ حَقٌّ وعَدْل! لأَنَّهُ حَكَمَ عَلى الفَاجِرَةِ العَظِيمَة، الَّتِي أَفْسَدَتِ الأَرضَ بِفُجُورِهَا، وانْتَقَمَ مِنْ يَدِهَا لِدَمِ عِبَادِهِ!". 5 وَخَرَجَ صَوْتٌ مِنَ العَرْشِ يَقُول: "سَبِّحُوا إِلـهَنَا، يَا جَمِيعَ عِبَادِهِ، والَّذِينَ يتَّقُونَهُ، الصِّغَارَ والكِبَار!". 6 وَسَمِعْتُ كَأَنَّ صَوْتَ جَمْعٍ غَفِير، وكَأَنَّ صَوْتَ مِيَاهٍ غَزِيرَة، وكَأَنَّ صَوْتَ رُعُودٍ شَدِيدَةٍ تَقُول: "هَلِلُويَا! لأَنَّ الرَّبَّ إِلـهَنا الضَّابِطَ الكُلَّ قَدْ مَلَكَ! 7 فَلْنَفْرَحْ ونَبْتَهِجْ! وَلْنُمجِّدْهُ، لأَنَّ عُرْسَ الـحَمَلِ قَدْ أَتَى، وعَرُوسَهُ قَدْ هَيَّأَتْ نَفْسَهَا، 8 وأُعْطِيَ لَهَا أَنْ تَتَوَشَّحَ بِكَتَّانٍ بَرَّاقٍ نَقِيّ! فَالكَتَّانُ إِنَّمَا هُوَ أَعْمَالُ القِدِّيسِينَ البَارَّة!". 9 وقَالَ لي: "أُكْتُبْ: طُوبَى لِلْمَدْعُوِّينَ إِلى وَلِيمَةِ الـحَمَل!". وقَالَ لي: "هـذِهِ هِيَ أَقْوَالُ اللهِ الـحَقَّة!". 11 ورَأَيْتُ السَّمَاءَ مَفْتُوحَة، وإِذَا فَرَسٌ أَبْيَض، والرَّاكِبُ عَلَيْهِ يُدْعَى الأَمِينَ والـحَقّ، وهُوَ بِالبِرِّ يَدِينُ ويُحَارِب. 12 وعَيْنَاهُ كَلَهِيبِ نَار، وعَلى رَأْسِهِ تِيجَانٌ كَثِيرَة، ولَهُ اسْمٌ مَكْتُوبٌ لا يَعْرِفُهُ أَحَدٌ سِوَاه. 13 وهُوَ مُوَشَّحٌ بِثَوبٍ مَغْمُوسٍ بِالدَّم، ويُدْعَى اسْمُهُ: كَلِمَةَ الله! 16 وَلَهُ اسْمٌ مَكْتُوبٌ عَلى ثَوْبِهِ وَعَلى فَخْذِهِ: مَلِكُ الـمُلُوكِ ورَبُّ الأَرْبَاب!
Evangile Arabic	16 وَقَالَ لَهُم هـذَا الـمَثَل: "رَجُلٌ غَنِيٌّ أَغَلَّتْ لهُ أَرْضُهُ. 17 فَرَاحَ يُفَكِّرُ في نَفْسِهِ قَائِلاً: مَاذَا أَفْعَل، وَلَيْسَ لَدَيَّ مَا أَخْزُنُ فِيهِ غَلاَّتِي؟ 18 ثُمَّ قَال: سَأَفْعَلُ هـذَا: أَهْدِمُ أَهْرَائِي، وَأَبْنِي أَكْبَرَ مِنْها، وَأَخْزُنُ فِيهَا كُلَّ حِنْطَتِي وَخَيْراتِي، 19 وَأَقُولُ لِنَفْسِي: يا نَفْسِي، لَكِ خَيْرَاتٌ كَثِيرَةٌ مُدَّخَرَةٌ لِسِنينَ كَثِيرَة، فاسْتَريِحي، وَكُلِي، واشْرَبِي، وَتَنَعَّمِي! 20 فَقَالَ لَهُ الله: يا جَاهِل، في هـذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ تُطْلَبُ مِنْكَ نَفْسُكَ. وَمَا أَعْدَدْتَهُ لِمَنْ يَكُون؟ 21 هـكذَا هِيَ حَالُ مَنْ يَدَّخِرُ لِنَفْسِهِ، وَلا يَغْتَنِي لله".

Lecture French	01 Après cela, j’entendis comme la voix forte d’une foule immense dans le ciel, qui proclamait : « Alléluia ! Le salut, la gloire, la puissance à notre Dieu. 02 Ils sont vrais, ils sont justes, ses jugements. Il a jugé la grande prostituée qui corrompait la terre par sa prostitution ; il a réclamé justice du sang de ses serviteurs, qu’elle a versé de sa main. » 05 Et du Trône sortit une voix qui disait : « Louez notre Dieu, vous tous qui le servez, vous tous qui le craignez, les petits et les grands. » 06 Alors j’entendis comme la voix d’une foule immense, comme la voix des grandes eaux, ou celle de violents coups de tonnerre. Elle proclamait : « Alléluia ! Il règne, le Seigneur notre Dieu, le Souverain de l’univers. 07 Soyons dans la joie, exultons, et rendons gloire à Dieu ! Car elles sont venues, les Noces de l’Agneau, et pour lui son épouse a revêtu sa parure. 08 Un vêtement de lin fin lui a été donné, splendide et pur. » Car le lin, ce sont les actions justes des saints. 09 Puis l’ange me dit : « Écris : Heureux les invités au repas des noces de l’Agneau ! » Il ajouta : « Ce sont les paroles véritables de Dieu. » 11 Puis j’ai vu le ciel ouvert, et voici un cheval blanc : celui qui le monte s’appelle Fidèle et Vrai, il juge et fait la guerre avec justice. 12 Ses yeux sont comme une flamme ardente, il a sur la tête plusieurs diadèmes, il porte un nom écrit que nul ne connaît, sauf lui-même. 13 Le vêtement qui l’enveloppe est trempé de sang, et on lui donne ce nom : « le Verbe de Dieu ». 16 sur son vêtement et sur sa cuisse, il porte un nom écrit : « Roi des rois et Seigneur des seigneurs ».
Evangile French	16 Et il leur dit cette parabole : « Il y avait un homme riche, dont le domaine avait bien rapporté. 17 Il se demandait : “Que vais-je faire ? Car je n’ai pas de place pour mettre ma récolte.” 18 Puis il se dit : “Voici ce que je vais faire : je vais démolir mes greniers, j’en construirai de plus grands et j’y mettrai tout mon blé et tous mes biens. 19 Alors je me dirai à moi-même : Te voilà donc avec de nombreux biens à ta disposition, pour de nombreuses années. Repose-toi, mange, bois, jouis de l’existence.” 20 Mais Dieu lui dit : “Tu es fou : cette nuit même, on va te redemander ta vie. Et ce que tu auras accumulé, qui l’aura ?” 21 Voilà ce qui arrive à celui qui amasse pour lui-même, au lieu d’être riche en vue de Dieu. »

Lecture English	1 After this I heard what sounded like the loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying: “Alleluia!* Salvation, glory, and might belong to our God, 2 for true and just are his judgments. He has condemned the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her harlotry. He has avenged on her the blood of his servants.”a 5 A voice coming from the throne said: “Praise our God, all you his servants, [and] you who revere him, small and great.”c 6 Then I heard something like the sound of a great multitude or the sound of rushing water or mighty peals of thunder, as they said: “Alleluia! The Lord has established his reign, [our] God, the almighty. 7 Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory. For the wedding day of the Lamb* has come, his bride has made herself ready.d 8 She was allowed to wear a bright, clean linen garment.”e (The linen represents the righteous deeds of the holy ones.)* 9 Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed* are those who have been called to the wedding feast of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These words are true; they come from God.”f 11 * Then I saw the heavens opened, and there was a white horse; its rider was [called] “Faithful and True.” He judges and wages war in righteousness.h 12 His eyes were [like] a fiery flame, and on his head were many diadems. He had a name* inscribed that no one knows except himself.i 13 He wore a cloak that had been dipped in* blood, and his name was called the Word of God.j 16 He has a name written on his cloak and on his thigh, “King of kings and Lord of lords.”m
Evangile English	16 Then he told them a parable. “There was a rich man whose land produced a bountiful harvest. 17 He asked himself, ‘What shall I do, for I do not have space to store my harvest?’ 18 And he said, ‘This is what I shall do: I shall tear down my barns and build larger ones. There I shall store all my grain and other goods 19 j and I shall say to myself, “Now as for you, you have so many good things stored up for many years, rest, eat, drink, be merry!”’k 20 But God said to him, ‘You fool, this night your life will be demanded of you; and the things you have prepared, to whom will they belong?’ 21 Thus will it be for the one who stores up treasure for himself but is not rich in what matters to God.”*
