Lecture Arabic	1 وَرأَيتُ سَمَاءً جَدِيدةً وأَرْضًا جَدِيدَة، فَالسَّمَاءُ الأُولَى والأَرْضُ الأُولَى قَدْ زَالَتَا، والبَحْرُ لا يَكُونُ مِنْ بَعْد. 2 والـمَدينَةُ الـمُقَدَّسَةُ الـجَدِيدَةُ رأَيْتُهَا نَازِلَةً مِنَ السَّمَاء، مِنْ عِنْدِ الله، مُهَيَّأَةً كَعَرُوُسٍ مُزَيَّنَةٍ لِرَجُلِهَا. 3 وَسَمِعْتُ صَوْتًا عَظيمًا مِنَ العَرْشِ يَقُول: "هُوَذَا مَسْكِنُ اللهِ مَعَ البَشَر، فَهُوَ سَيَسْكُنُ مَعَهُم، وَهُم يَكُونُونَ شُعُوبًا لَهُ، واللهُ نَفْسُهُ يَكُونُ مَعَهُم، إِلـهًا لَهُم. 4 وَسيَمْسَحُ كُلَّ دَمْعَةٍ مِنْ عُيُونِهِم، والـمَوْتُ لَنْ يَكُونَ مِنْ بَعْد، ولا النَّوْح، ولا الصُّرَاخ، ولا الوَجَعُ يَكونُ مِنْ بَعْد، لأَنَّ الأَشيَاءَ الأُولى قَدْ زَالَتْ!". 5 وقالَ الـجَالِسُ عَلَى العَرْش: "هَاءَنَذا أَجْعَلُ كُلَّ شَيءٍ جَدِيدًا". وقال: "أُكْتُبْ! لأَنَّ هـذِهِ الأَقْوَالَ عَدْلٌ وَحقّ!". 6 وقالَ لي: "لَقَد تَمَّت! أَنَا الأَلِفُ واليَاء، البِدَايَةُ والنِّهَايَة. أَنا أُعْطِي العَطْشَانَ مِن يَنْبُوعِ مَاءِ الـحَيَاةِ مَّجَانًا. 7 أَلظَّافِرُ يَرِثُ كُلَّ هـذَا، وسَأَكُونُ لَهُ إِلـهًا، وَهُوَ يَكُونُ لِيَ ابْنًا. 8 أَمَّا الـجُبَنَاءُ والكُفَّار، والأَرْجَاسُ والقَتَلَة، والفُجَّارُ والسَّحَرَة، وعَابِدُو الأَوْثَانِ والكَذَّابُونَ جَمِيعًا، فَنَصِيبُهُم في البُحَيْرَةِ الـمُتَّقِدَةِ بِالنَّارِ والكِبْرِيت، وهـذَا هُوَ الـمَوتُ الثَّاني!". 9 وأَتَى واحِدٌ مِنَ الـمَلائِكَةِ السَّبعَةِ الـحَامِلينَ الكُؤُوسَ السَّبْعَ الـمَلأَى مِنَ الضَّرَبَاتِ السَّبْعِ الأَخيرَة، وكَلَّمَنِي قائِلاً: "تَعَالَ فَأُرِيكَ الـمَرْأَةَ عَرُوسَةَ الـحَمَل!". 10 وَنَقَلَنِي بِالرُّوحِ إلى جَبَلٍ عَظِيمٍ عَالٍ، فأَرَانِي الـمَدِينَةَ الـمُقَدَّسَةَ نَازِلَةً مِنَ السَّمَاءِ، مِنَ عِنْدِ الله، 11 وَلَهَا مَجْدُ الله، ولَـمَعَانُهَا أَشْبَهُ بِحَجَرٍ كَرِيم، كَحَجَرِ اليشْبِ البِلَّورِيّ. 12 وَلَها سُورٌ عَظِيمٌ عالٍ، وَلَهَا اثْنَا عَشَرَ بَابا، وعَلى الأَبْوَابِ اثْنَا عَشَرَ مَلاكًا وأَسْمَاءٌ مَكْتُوبَة، هِيَ أَسْمَاءُ أَسْبَاطِ إِسْرائِيلَ الاثْنَي عَشَر: 14 وسُورُ الـمَدِينَةِ لَهُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ أَسَاسًا، وعَلَيْهَا اثْنَا عَشَر اسْمًا، هيَ أَسْمَاءُ رُسُلِ الـحَمَلِ الاثْنَي عَشَر.
Evangile Arabic	6 وَقَالَ هـذَا الـمَثَل: "كَانَ لِرَجُلٍ تِينَةٌ مَغْرُوسَةٌ في كَرْمِهِ، وَجَاءَ يَطْلُبُ فيهَا ثَمَرًا فَلَمْ يَجِدْ. 7 فقالَ لِلكَرَّام: هَا إِنِّي مُنْذُ ثَلاثِ سِنِين، آتي وَأَطْلُبُ ثَمَرًا في هـذِهِ التِّينَةِ وَلا أَجِد، فاقْطَعْهَا! لِمَاذَا تُعَطِّلُ الأَرْض؟ 8 فَأَجابَ وَقَالَ لَهُ: يَا سَيِّد، دَعْهَا هـذِهِ السَّنَةَ أَيْضًا، حَتَّى أَنْكُشَ حَوْلَهَا، وَأُلْقِيَ سَمَادًا، 9 لَعَلَّها تُثْمِرُ في السَّنَةِ القَادِمَة، وَإِلاَّ فَتَقْطَعُها!".

Lecture French	01 Alors j’ai vu un ciel nouveau et une terre nouvelle, car le premier ciel et la première terre s’en étaient allés et, de mer, il n’y en a plus. 02 Et la Ville sainte, la Jérusalem nouvelle, je l’ai vue qui descendait du ciel, d’auprès de Dieu, prête pour les noces, comme une épouse parée pour son mari. 03 Et j’entendis une voix forte qui venait du Trône. Elle disait : « Voici la demeure de Dieu avec les hommes ; il demeurera avec eux, et ils seront ses peuples, et lui-même, Dieu avec eux, sera leur Dieu. 04 Il essuiera toute larme de leurs yeux, et la mort ne sera plus, et il n’y aura plus ni deuil, ni cri, ni douleur : ce qui était en premier s’en est allé. » 05 Alors celui qui siégeait sur le Trône déclara : « Voici que je fais toutes choses nouvelles. » Et il dit : « Écris, car ces paroles sont dignes de foi et vraies. » 06 Puis il me dit : « C’est fait. Moi, je suis l’alpha et l’oméga, le commencement et la fin. À celui qui a soif, moi, je donnerai l’eau de la source de vie, gratuitement. 07 Tel sera l’héritage du vainqueur ; je serai son Dieu, et lui sera mon fils. 08 Quant aux lâches, perfides, êtres abominables, meurtriers, débauchés, sorciers, idolâtres et tous les menteurs, la part qui leur revient, c’est l’étang embrasé de feu et de soufre, qui est la seconde mort. » 09 Alors arriva l’un des sept anges aux sept coupes remplies des sept derniers fléaux, et il me parla ainsi : « Viens, je te montrerai la Femme, l’Épouse de l’Agneau. » 10 En esprit, il m’emporta sur une grande et haute montagne ; il me montra la Ville sainte, Jérusalem, qui descendait du ciel, d’auprès de Dieu : 11 elle avait en elle la gloire de Dieu ; son éclat était celui d’une pierre très précieuse, comme le jaspe cristallin. 12 Elle avait une grande et haute muraille, avec douze portes et, sur ces portes, douze anges ; des noms y étaient inscrits : ceux des douze tribus des fils d’Israël. 14 La muraille de la ville reposait sur douze fondations portant les douze noms des douze Apôtres de l’Agneau.
Evangile French	06 Jésus disait encore cette parabole : « Quelqu’un avait un figuier planté dans sa vigne. Il vint chercher du fruit sur ce figuier, et n’en trouva pas. 07 Il dit alors à son vigneron : “Voilà trois ans que je viens chercher du fruit sur ce figuier, et je n’en trouve pas. Coupe-le. À quoi bon le laisser épuiser le sol ?” 08 Mais le vigneron lui répondit : “Maître, laisse-le encore cette année, le temps que je bêche autour pour y mettre du fumier. 09 Peut-être donnera-t-il du fruit à l’avenir. Sinon, tu le couperas.” »

Lecture English	1 a Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth. The former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.* 2 I also saw the holy city, a new Jerusalem,* coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.b 3 I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, God’s dwelling is with the human race.c He will dwell with them and they will be his people* and God himself will always be with them [as their God].* 4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there shall be no more death or mourning, wailing or pain, [for] the old order has passed away.”d 5 The one who sat on the throne* said, “Behold, I make all things new.” Then he said, “Write these words down, for they are trustworthy and true.”e 6 He said to me, “They are accomplished.* I [am] the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give a gift from the spring of life-giving water.f 7 The victor* will inherit these gifts, and I shall be his God, and he will be my son.g 8 But as for cowards,* the unfaithful, the depraved, murderers, the unchaste, sorcerers, idol-worshipers, and deceivers of every sort, their lot is in the burning pool of fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”h The New Jerusalem.* 9 One of the seven angels who held the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come here. I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.”* 10 He took me in spirit to a great, high mountain and showed me the holy city Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God.i 11 It gleamed with the splendor of God. Its radiance was like that of a precious stone, like jasper, clear as crystal.j 12 It had a massive, high wall, with twelve gates where twelve angels were stationed and on which names were inscribed, [the names] of the twelve tribes of the Israelites. 14 The wall of the city had twelve courses of stones as its foundation, on which were inscribed the twelve names of the twelve apostles* of the Lamb.l
Evangile English	6 c And he told them this parable: “There once was a person who had a fig tree planted in his orchard, and when he came in search of fruit on it but found none, 7 he said to the gardener, ‘For three years now I have come in search of fruit on this fig tree but have found none. [So] cut it down. Why should it exhaust the soil?’ 8 He said to him in reply, ‘Sir, leave it for this year also, and I shall cultivate the ground around it and fertilize it; 9 it may bear fruit in the future. If not you can cut it down.’”
