Lecture Arabic	12 إِذًا، يَا أَحِبَّائِي، فَاعْمَلُوا لِخَلاصِكُم بِخَوْفٍ ورِعْدَة، كَمَا أَطَعْتُمْ دَائِمًا، لا في حُضُورِي فَحَسْب، بَلْ بِالأَحرى وبِالأَكْثَرِ الآنَ في غِيَابِي. 13 فَاللهُ هُوَ الَّذي يَجْعَلُكُم تُرِيدُونَ وتَعْمَلُونَ بِحَسَبِ مَرْضَاتِهِ. 14 إِفْعَلُوا كُلَّ شَيءٍ بِغَيْرِ تَذَمُّرٍ وَجِدَال، 15 لِكَي تَصِيرُوا بُسَطَاءَ لا لَومَ عَلَيْكُم، وأَبْنَاءً للهِ لا عَيْبَ فيكُم، وَسْطَ جِيْلٍ مُعْوَجٍّ ومُنْحَرِف، تُضِيئُونَ فيهِ كالنَّيِّراتِ في العَالَـم، 16 مُتَمَسِّكِينَ بِكَلِمَةِ الـحَيَاة، لافْتِخَارِي في يَومِ الـمَسِيح، بِأَنِّي مَا سَعَيْتُ ولا تَعِبْتُ بَاطِلاً. 17 لو أَنَّ دَمِي يُرَاقُ على ذَبِيحَةِ إِيْمانِكُم وخِدْمَتِهِ، لَكُنْتُ أَفْرَحُ وأَبْتَهِجُ مَعَكُم جَمِيعًا. 18 فَافْرَحُوا أَنْتُم أَيْضًا وابْتَهِجُوا مَعِي.
Evangile Arabic	1 حِينَئِذٍ يُشْبِهُ مَلَكُوتُ السَّمَاوَاتِ عَشْرَ عَذَارَى أَخَذْنَ مَصَابِيحَهُنَّ وخَرَجْنَ إِلى لِقَاءِ العَريس، 2 خَمْسٌ مِنْهُنَّ جَاهِلات، وخَمْسٌ حَكِيمَات. 3 فَالـجَاهِلاتُ أَخَذْنَ مَصَابِيحَهُنَّ ولَمْ يَأْخُذْنَ مَعَهُنَّ زَيْتًا. 4 أَمَّا الـحَكِيْمَاتُ فَأَخَذْنَ زَيْتًا في آنِيَةٍ مَعَ مَصَابِيْحِهِنَّ. 5 وأَبْطَأَ العَريسُ فَنَعَسْنَ جَمِيعُهُنَّ، ورَقَدْنَ. 6 وفي مُنْتَصَفِ اللَّيل، صَارَتِ الصَّيحَة: هُوَذَا العَريس! أُخْرُجُوا إِلى لِقَائِهِ! 7 حينَئِذٍ قَامَتْ أُولـئِكَ العَذَارَى كُلُّهُنَّ، وزَيَّنَّ مَصَابِيحَهُنَّ. 8 فقَالَتِ الـجَاهِلاتُ لِلحَكيمَات: أَعْطِينَنا مِنْ زَيتِكُنَّ، لأَنَّ مَصَابِيحَنَا تَنْطَفِئ. 9 فَأَجَابَتِ الـحَكيمَاتُ وقُلْنَ: قَدْ لا يَكْفِينَا ويَكْفِيكُنَّ. إِذْهَبْنَ بِالأَحْرَى إِلى البَاعَةِ وابْتَعْنَ لَكُنَّ. 10 ولَمَّا ذَهَبْنَ لِيَبْتَعْنَ، جَاءَ العَريس، ودَخَلَتِ الـمُسْتَعِدَّاتُ إِلى العُرْس، وأُغْلِقَ البَاب. 11 وأَخيرًا جَاءَتِ العَذَارَى البَاقِيَاتُ وقُلْنَ: يَا رَبُّ، يَا رَبُّ، افْتَحْ لَنَا! 12 فَأَجَابَ وقَال: أَلـحَقَّ أَقُولُ لَكُنَّ، إِنِّي لا أَعْرِفُكُنَّ! 13 إِسْهَرُوا إِذًا، لأَنَّكُم لا تَعْلَمُونَ اليَوْمَ ولا السَّاعَة.

Lecture French	12 Ainsi, mes bien-aimés, vous qui avez toujours obéi, travaillez à votre salut avec crainte et profond respect ; ne le faites pas seulement quand je suis là, mais encore bien plus maintenant que je n’y suis pas. 13 Car c’est Dieu qui agit pour produire en vous la volonté et l’action, selon son projet bienveillant. 14 Faites tout sans récriminer et sans discuter ; 15 ainsi vous serez irréprochables et purs, vous qui êtes des enfants de Dieu sans tache au milieu d’une génération tortueuse et pervertie où vous brillez comme les astres dans l’univers, 16 en tenant ferme la parole de vie. Alors je serai fier de vous quand viendra le jour du Christ : je n’aurai pas couru pour rien ni peiné pour rien. 17 Et si je dois verser mon sang pour l’ajouter au sacrifice que vous offrez à Dieu par votre foi, je m’en réjouis et je partage votre joie à tous. 18 Et vous, de même, réjouissez-vous et partagez ma joie.
Evangile French	01 « Alors, le royaume des Cieux sera comparable à dix jeunes filles invitées à des noces, qui prirent leur lampe pour sortir à la rencontre de l’époux. 02 Cinq d’entre elles étaient insouciantes, et cinq étaient prévoyantes : 03 les insouciantes avaient pris leur lampe sans emporter d’huile, 04 tandis que les prévoyantes avaient pris, avec leurs lampes, des flacons d’huile. 05 Comme l’époux tardait, elles s’assoupirent toutes et s’endormirent. 06 Au milieu de la nuit, il y eut un cri : “Voici l’époux ! Sortez à sa rencontre.” 07 Alors toutes ces jeunes filles se réveillèrent et se mirent à préparer leur lampe. 08 Les insouciantes demandèrent aux prévoyantes : “Donnez-nous de votre huile, car nos lampes s’éteignent.” 09 Les prévoyantes leur répondirent : “Jamais cela ne suffira pour nous et pour vous, allez plutôt chez les marchands vous en acheter.” 10 Pendant qu’elles allaient en acheter, l’époux arriva. Celles qui étaient prêtes entrèrent avec lui dans la salle des noces, et la porte fut fermée. 11 Plus tard, les autres jeunes filles arrivèrent à leur tour et dirent : “Seigneur, Seigneur, ouvre-nous !” 12 Il leur répondit : “Amen, je vous le dis : je ne vous connais pas.” 13 Veillez donc, car vous ne savez ni le jour ni l’heure.

Lecture English	12 j So then, my beloved, obedient as you have always been, not only when I am present but all the more now when I am absent, work out your salvation with fear and trembling.* 13 For God is the one who, for his good purpose, works in you both to desire and to work.k 14 Do everything without grumbling or questioning,l 15 that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation,* among whom you shine like lights in the world,m 16 as you hold on to the word of life, so that my boast for the day of Christ may be that I did not run in vain or labor in vain.n 17 But, even if I am poured out as a libation* upon the sacrificial service of your faith, I rejoice and share my joy with all of you.o 18 In the same way you also should rejoice and share your joy with me.p
Evangile English	1 “Then* the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 * Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3 The foolish ones, when taking their lamps, brought no oil with them, 4 but the wise brought flasks of oil with their lamps. 5 Since the bridegroom was long delayed, they all became drowsy and fell asleep. 6 At midnight, there was a cry, ‘Behold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’ 7 Then all those virgins got up and trimmed their lamps. 8 The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ 9 But the wise ones replied, ‘No, for there may not be enough for us and you. Go instead to the merchants and buy some for yourselves.’ 10 While they went off to buy it, the bridegroom came and those who were ready went into the wedding feast with him. Then the door was locked. 11 * a Afterwards the other virgins came and said, ‘Lord, Lord, open the door for us!’ 12 But he said in reply, ‘Amen, I say to you, I do not know you.’ 13 b Therefore, stay awake,* for you know neither the day nor the hour.
