Lecture Arabic	19 ومعَ أَنِّي حُرٌّ مِنَ الـجَمِيع، فقَدْ جَعَلْتُ نَفْسِي عَبْدًا لِلجَمِيع، لأَرْبَحَ الكَثِيرِين. 20 فَصِرْتُ لِليَهُودِ كَأَنِّي يَهُودِيٌّ لأَرْبَحَ اليَهُود، ولِلَّذِينَ هُم في حُكْمِ الشَّرِيعَةِ كَأَنِّي في حُكْمِ الشَّرِيعَة، مَعَ أَنِّي لَسْتُ في حُكْمِ الشَّرِيعَة، لأَرْبَحَ الَّذِينَ هُم في حُكْمِ الشَّرِيعَة. 21 ولِلَّذِينَ هُم بِلا شَرِيعَةٍ كَأَنِّي بِلا شَرِيعَة، معَ أَنِّي لَسْتُ بِلا شَرِيعَة، بَلْ أَنَا في شَرِيعَةِ الـمَسِيح، لأَرْبَحَ الَّذِينَ هُم بِلا شَرِيعَة. 22 صِرْتُ لِلضُّعَفَاءِ ضَعِيفًا لأَرْبَحَ الضُّعَفَاء. وصِرْتُ كُلَّ شَيءٍ لِكُلِّ النَّاسِ لأُخَلِّصَ بَعْضًا مِنْهُم في كُلِّ حَال. 23 وإِنِّي أَفْعَلُ كُلَّ شَيءٍ في سَبِيلِ الإِنْجِيل، لأَصِيرَ شَرِيكًا فيهِ معَ الآخَرِين. 24 أَمَا تَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ الَّذِينَ يُسَابِقُونَ في الـمَيْدَان، كُلُّهُم يُسَابِقُون، ولـكِنَّ وَاحِدًا مِنْهُم يَفُوزُ بِالـجَائِزَة؟ فَهـكَذَا أَنْتُم سَابِقُوا حَتَّى تَفُوزُوا. 25 وكُلُّ مَنْ يُجَاهِدُ يَضْبِطُ نَفْسَهُ في كُلِّ شَيء. أَمَّا أُولـئِكَ فَلِكَي يَفُوزُوا بِإِكْليلٍ يَفْنَى، وأَمَّا نَحْنُ فَلِكَي نَفُوزَ بِإِكْليلٍ لا يَفْنَى. 26 فَأَنَا أُسَابِقُ هـكَذَا، لا كأَنِّي أَسْعَى بِدُونِ هَدَف. وأُلاكِمُ، لا كَأَنِّي أُصَارِعُ الفَضَاء. 27 لـكِنِّي أَقْمَعُ جَسَدِي وَأَسْتَعْبِدُهُ، لِئَلاَّ أَصِيرَ أَنَا نَفْسِي مَرْذُولاً، بَعْدَ أَنْ بَشَّرْتُ الآخَرِين.
Evangile Arabic	36 حينَئِذٍ تَرَكَ يَسُوعُ الـجُمُوعَ وَأَتَى إِلى البَيْت، فَدَنَا مِنْهُ تَلامِيْذُهُ وقَالُوا لَهُ: "فَسِّرْ لَنَا مَثَلَ زُؤَانِ الـحَقْل". 37 فَأَجَابَ وقَال: "زَارِعُ الزَّرْعِ الـجَيِّدِ هُوَ ابْنُ الإِنْسَان، 38 والـحَقْلُ هُوَ العَالَم، والزَّرْعُ الـجَيِّدُ هُم أَبْنَاءُ الـمَلَكُوت، والزُّؤَانُ هُم بَنُو الشِّرِّير، 39 والعَدُوُّ الَّذي زَرَعَ الزُّؤَانَ هُوَ إِبْلِيس، والـحِصَادُ هُوَ نِهَايَةُ العَالَم، والـحَصَّادُونَ هُمُ الـمَلائِكَة. 40 فكَمَا يُجْمَعُ الزُّؤَانُ ويُحْرَقُ بِالنَّار، كَذـلِكَ يَكُونُ في نِهَايَةِ العَالَم. 41 يُرْسِلُ ابْنُ الإِنْسَانِ مَلائِكَتَهُ، فَيَجْمَعُونَ مِنْ مَمْلَكَتِهِ كُلَّ الشُّكُوكِ وفَاعِلي الإِثْم، 42 ويُلقُونَهُم في أَتُّونِ النَّار. هُنَاكَ يَكُونُ البُكَاءُ وصَرِيْفُ الأَسْنَان. 43 حينَئِذٍ يَسْطَعُ الأَبْرَارُ كالشَّمْسِ في مَلَكُوتِ أَبِيْهِم. مَنْ لَهُ أُذُنَانِ فَلْيَسْمَع!

Lecture French	19 Oui, libre à l’égard de tous, je me suis fait l’esclave de tous afin d’en gagner le plus grand nombre possible. 20 Et avec les Juifs, j’ai été comme un Juif, pour gagner les Juifs. Avec ceux qui sont sujets de la Loi, j’ai été comme un sujet de la Loi, moi qui ne le suis pas, pour gagner les sujets de la Loi. 21 Avec les sans-loi, j’ai été comme un sans-loi, moi qui ne suis pas sans loi de Dieu, mais sous la loi du Christ, pour gagner les sans-loi. 22 Avec les faibles, j’ai été faible, pour gagner les faibles. Je me suis fait tout à tous pour en sauver à tout prix quelques-uns. 23 Et tout cela, je le fais à cause de l’Évangile, pour y avoir part, moi aussi. 24 Vous savez bien que, dans le stade, tous les coureurs participent à la course, mais un seul reçoit le prix. Alors, vous, courez de manière à l’emporter. 25 Tous les athlètes à l’entraînement s’imposent une discipline sévère ; ils le font pour recevoir une couronne de laurier qui va se faner, et nous, pour une couronne qui ne se fane pas. 26 Moi, si je cours, ce n’est pas sans fixer le but ; si je fais de la lutte, ce n’est pas en frappant dans le vide. 27 Mais je traite durement mon corps, j’en fais mon esclave, pour éviter qu’après avoir proclamé l’Évangile à d’autres, je sois moi-même disqualifié.
Evangile French	36 Alors, laissant les foules, il vint à la maison. Ses disciples s’approchèrent et lui dirent : « Explique-nous clairement la parabole de l’ivraie dans le champ. » 37 Il leur répondit : « Celui qui sème le bon grain, c’est le Fils de l’homme ; 38 le champ, c’est le monde ; le bon grain, ce sont les fils du Royaume ; l’ivraie, ce sont les fils du Mauvais. 39 L’ennemi qui l’a semée, c’est le diable ; la moisson, c’est la fin du monde ; les moissonneurs, ce sont les anges. 40 De même que l’on enlève l’ivraie pour la jeter au feu, ainsi en sera-t-il à la fin du monde. 41 Le Fils de l’homme enverra ses anges, et ils enlèveront de son Royaume toutes les causes de chute et ceux qui font le mal ; 42 ils les jetteront dans la fournaise : là, il y aura des pleurs et des grincements de dents. 43 Alors les justes resplendiront comme le soleil dans le royaume de leur Père. Celui qui a des oreilles, qu’il entende !

Lecture English	19 * Although I am free in regard to all, I have made myself a slave to all so as to win over as many as possible.n 20 To the Jews I became like a Jew to win over Jews; to those under the law I became like one under the law—though I myself am not under the law—to win over those under the law. 21 To those outside the law I became like one outside the law—though I am not outside God’s law but within the law of Christ—to win over those outside the law. 22 To the weak I became weak, to win over the weak. I have become all things to all, to save at least some.o 23 All this I do for the sake of the gospel, so that I too may have a share in it. 24 * Do you not know that the runners in the stadium all run in the race, but only one wins the prize? Run so as to win.p 25 Every athlete exercises discipline in every way. They do it to win a perishable crown, but we an imperishable one.q 26 Thus I do not run aimlessly; I do not fight as if I were shadowboxing. 27 No, I drive my body and train it, for fear that, after having preached to others, I myself should be disqualified.*
Evangile English	36 Then, dismissing the crowds,* he went into the house. His disciples approached him and said, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field.” 37 * He said in reply, “He who sows good seed is the Son of Man, 38 the field is the world,* the good seed the children of the kingdom. The weeds are the children of the evil one, 39 and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age,* and the harvesters are angels. 40 Just as weeds are collected and burned [up] with fire, so will it be at the end of the age. 41 The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will collect out of his kingdom* all who cause others to sin and all evildoers. 42 m They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth. 43 * n Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears ought to hear.
