Lecture Arabic	1 ورَأَيْتُ مَلاكًا آخَرَ قَوِيًّا نَازِلاً مِنَ السَّماء، مُوَشَّحًا بِغَمَامَة، وعَلى رَأْسِهِ قَوْسُ القُزَح، ووَجْهُهُ كَالشَّمْس، ورِجْلاهُ كَعَمُودَينِ مِنْ نَار، 2 وفي يَدِهِ كُتَيِّبٌ صَغِيرٌ مَفْتُوح. فوَضَعَ رِجْلَهُ اليُمْنَى عَلى البَحْر، واليُسْرَى عَلى البَرّ. 3 وهَتَفَ بِصَوْتٍ عَظِيمٍ كأَسَدٍ يَزْأَر. وعِنْدَما هَتَفَ، تَكَلَّمَتِ الرُّعُودُ السَّبْعَةُ بِأَصْوَاتِها. 4 وَلَمَّا تَكَلَّمَتِ الرُّعُودُ السَّبْعَة، هَمَمْتُ بِأَنْ أَكْتُب، فَسَمِعْتُ صَوْتًا مِنَ السَّماءِ يَقُول: "إِخْتِمْ على ما تَكَلَّمَتْ بِهِ الرُّعُودُ السَّبْعَة، ولا تَكْتُبْهُ!". 5 والـمَلاكُ الَّذي رَأَيْتُهُ واقِفًا على البَحْرِ وَعَلى البَرّ، رَفَعَ يَدَهُ اليُمْنَى إِلى السَّمَاء، 6 وحَلَفَ بِالـحَيِّ إِلى أَبَدِ الآبِدِين، الَّذي خَلَقَ السَّماءَ ومَا فِيهَا، والأَرْضَ وَما فِيهَا، والبَحْرَ ومَا فِيه، أَنَّهُ لَنْ يَكُونَ زَمانٌ بَعْد. 7 وَلـكِنْ في الأَيَّام الَّتي سَيُسْمَعُ فِيهَا صَوْتُ الـمَلاكِ السَّابِع، عِنْدَمَا يَنْفُخُ في بُوقِهِ، يَكُونُ قَد تَمَّ سِرُّ الله، كمَا بَشَّرَ بِهِ عَبِيدَهُ الأَنْبِيَاء. 8 ثُمَّ إِنَّ الصَّوتَ الَّذي سَمِعْتُهُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ خَاطَبَنِي ثانِيَةً وقَال: "إِذْهَبْ، خُذِ الكِتَابَ الـمَفْتُوحَ في يَدِ الـمَلاكِ الوَاقِفِ عَلى البَحْرِ وَعَلى البَرّ". 9 فَذَهَبْتُ إِلى الـمَلاكِ أَقُولُ لَهُ أَنْ يُعْطِيَنِي الكُتَيِّبَ الصَّغِير، فَقَالَ لي: "خُذْهُ وَابْتَلِعْهُ، فهُوَ يَمْلأُ[ جَوفَكَ مَرَارَة، أَمَّا في فَمِكَ فيَكُونُ حُلْوًا كَالعَسَل". 10 فَأَخَذْتُ الكُتَيِّبَ الصَّغِيرَ مِنْ يَدِ الـمَلاكِ وَابْتَلَعْتُهُ، فَكانَ في فَمِي حُلوًا كَالعَسَل، ولَمَّا ابْتَلَعْتُهُ مَلأَ جَوْفي مَرَارَة. 11 وَقِيلَ لي: "يَجِبُ أَن تَتَنَبَّأَ ثَانِيَةً عَلى شُعُوبٍ وأُمَمٍ وأَلْسِنَةٍ ومُلُوكٍ كَثِيرِين".
Evangile Arabic	20 وَرَفَعَ يَسُوعُ عَيْنَيهِ نَحْوَ تَلامِيذِهِ وقَال: "طُوبَى لَكُم، أَيُّهَا الـمَسَاكين، لأَنَّ لَكُم مَلَكُوتَ الله. 21 طُوبَى لَكُم، أَيُّهَا الـجِيَاعُ الآن، لأَنَّكُم سَتُشْبَعُون. طُوبَى لَكُم، أَيُّهَا البَاكُونَ الآن، لأَنَّكُم سَتَضْحَكُون. 22 طُوبَى لَكُم حِينَ يُبغِضُكُمُ النَّاس، وحِينَ يَرْذُلونَكُم، وَيُعَيِّرُونَكُم، وَيَنْبِذُونَ اسْمَكُم كأَنَّهُ شِرِّيرٌ مِنْ أَجْلِ ابْنِ الإِنْسَان. 23 إِفْرَحوا في ذـلِكَ اليَومِ وَتَهَلَّلُوا، فَها إِنَّ أَجْرَكُم عَظِيمٌ في السَّمَاء، فَهـكَذا كَانَ آبَاؤُهُم يَفْعَلُونَ بِالأَنْبِيَاء. 24 ولـكِنِ الوَيْلُ لَكُم، أَيُّها الأَغْنِياء، لأَنَّكُم نِلْتُمْ عَزاءَكُم. 25 أَلوَيْلُ لَكُم، أَيُّها الـمُتْخَمُونَ الآن، لأَنَّكُم سَتَجوعُون. أَلوَيْلُ لَكُم، أَيُّهَا الضَّاحِكُونَ الآن، لأَنَّكُم سَتَحْزَنُونَ وَتَبْكُون. 26 أَلوَيْلُ لَكُم حِينَ يَمْدَحُكُم جَمِيعُ النَّاس، فهـكذَا كانَ آبَاؤُهُم يَفْعَلُونَ بِالأَنْبِياءِ الكَذَّابين.

Lecture French	01 Et j’ai vu un autre ange, plein de force, descendre du ciel, ayant une nuée pour manteau, et sur la tête un halo de lumière ; son visage était comme le soleil, et ses jambes comme des colonnes de feu. 02 Il tenait à la main un petit livre ouvert. Il posa le pied droit sur la mer, et le gauche sur la terre ; 03 il cria d’une voix forte, comme un lion qui rugit. Et quand il cria, les sept tonnerres parlèrent, faisant résonner leur voix. 04 Et quand les sept tonnerres eurent parlé, j’allais me mettre à écrire ; mais j’entendis une voix venant du ciel qui disait : « Ce que viennent de dire les sept tonnerres, garde-le scellé, ne l’écris pas ! » 05 Et l’ange que j’avais vu debout sur la mer et sur la terre leva la main droite vers le ciel ; 06 il fit un serment par celui qui est vivant pour les siècles des siècles, celui qui a créé le ciel et tout ce qu’il contient, la terre et tout ce qu’elle contient, la mer et tout ce qu’elle contient. Il déclara : « Du temps, il n’y en aura plus ! 07 Dans les jours où retentira la voix du septième ange, quand il sonnera de la trompette, alors se trouvera accompli le mystère de Dieu, selon la bonne nouvelle qu’il a annoncée à ses serviteurs les prophètes. » 08 Et la voix que j’avais entendue, venant du ciel, me parla de nouveau et me dit : « Va prendre le livre ouvert dans la main de l’ange qui se tient debout sur la mer et sur la terre. » 09 Je m’avançai vers l’ange pour lui demander de me donner le petit livre. Il me dit : « Prends, et dévore-le ; il remplira tes entrailles d’amertume, mais dans ta bouche il sera doux comme le miel. » 10 Je pris le petit livre de la main de l’ange, et je le dévorai. Dans ma bouche il était doux comme le miel, mais, quand je l’eus mangé, il remplit mes entrailles d’amertume. 11 Alors on me dit : « Il te faut de nouveau prophétiser sur un grand nombre de peuples, de nations, de langues et de rois. »
Evangile French	20 Et Jésus, levant les yeux sur ses disciples, déclara : « Heureux, vous les pauvres, car le royaume de Dieu est à vous. 21 Heureux, vous qui avez faim maintenant, car vous serez rassasiés. Heureux, vous qui pleurez maintenant, car vous rirez. 22 Heureux êtes-vous quand les hommes vous haïssent et vous excluent, quand ils insultent et rejettent votre nom comme méprisable, à cause du Fils de l’homme. 23 Ce jour-là, réjouissez-vous, tressaillez de joie, car alors votre récompense est grande dans le ciel ; c’est ainsi, en effet, que leurs pères traitaient les prophètes. 24 Mais quel malheur pour vous, les riches, car vous avez votre consolation ! 25 Quel malheur pour vous qui êtes repus maintenant, car vous aurez faim ! Quel malheur pour vous qui riez maintenant, car vous serez dans le deuil et vous pleurerez ! 26 Quel malheur pour vous lorsque tous les hommes disent du bien de vous ! C’est ainsi, en effet, que leurs pères traitaient les faux prophètes.

Lecture English	1 * Then I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven wrapped in a cloud, with a halo around his head; his face was like the sun and his feet were like pillars of fire. 2 In his hand he held a small scroll that had been opened. He placed his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land,* 3 and then he cried out in a loud voice as a lion roars. When he cried out, the seven thunders* raised their voices, too.a 4 When the seven thunders had spoken, I was about to write it down; but I heard a voice from heaven say, “Seal up what the seven thunders have spoken, but do not write it down.” 5 Then the angel I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven 6 and swore by the one who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and earth and sea* and all that is in them, “There shall be no more delay.b 7 At the time when you hear the seventh angel blow his trumpet, the mysterious plan of God* shall be fulfilled, as he promised to his servants the prophets.”c 8 Then the voice that I had heard from heaven spoke to me again and said, “Go, take the scroll that lies open in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land.” 9 So I went up to the angel and told him to give me the small scroll. He said to me, “Take and swallow it. It will turn your stomach sour, but in your mouth it will taste as sweet* as honey.” 10 I took the small scroll from the angel’s hand and swallowed it. In my mouth it was like sweet honey, but when I had eaten it, my stomach turned sour.d 11 Then someone said to me, “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings.”*
Evangile English	20 * And raising his eyes toward his disciples he said: “Blessed are you who are poor,* for the kingdom of God is yours. 21 Blessed are you who are now hungry, for you will be satisfied. Blessed are you who are now weeping, for you will laugh.l 22 Blessed are you when people hate you, and when they exclude and insult you, and denounce your name as evil on account of the Son of Man.m 23 Rejoice and leap for joy on that day! Behold, your reward will be great in heaven. For their ancestors treated the prophets in the same way.n 24 But woe to you who are rich, for you have received your consolation.o 25 But woe to you who are filled now, for you will be hungry. Woe to you who laugh now, for you will grieve and weep.p 26 Woe to you when all speak well of you, for their ancestors treated the false prophets in this way.q
