Lecture Arabic	1 وَظَهَرَتْ آيَةٌ عَظِيمَةٌ في السَّماء، امْرَأَةٌ مُوَشَّحَةٌ بالشَّمْس، وتَحْتَ رِجْلَيْهَا القَمَر، وعَلى رَأْسِها إِكْلِيلٌ مِنِ اثْنَي عَشَر كَوْكَبًا، 2 وَهِيَ حُبْلَى تَصْرُخُ مُتَمَخِّضَةً مُتَوَجِّعَةً لِتَلِد. 3 وَظَهَرَتْ آيَةٌ أُخْرَى في السَّمَاء، فَإِذا تِنِّينٌ أَحْمَرُ عَظِيم، لَهُ سَبْعَةُ رُؤُوسٍ وعَشَرةُ قُرُون، وعلى رُؤُوسِهِ سَبْعَةُ تِيجَان. 4 وَذَنَبُهُ يَجُرُّ ثُلْثَ كَوَاكِبِ السَّمَاء، فأَلقَاهَا على الأَرْض. ووَقَفَ التِّنِّينُ أَمَامَ الْمَرْأَةِ الـمُشْرِفَةِ عَلى الوِلادَة، لِيَبْتَلِعَ وَلَدَهَا حِينَ تَلِدُهُ. 5 وَوَلَدَتِ ابْنًا ذَكَرًا، وهُوَ الـمُزْمِعُ أَن يَرْعَى جَمِيعَ الأُمَمِ بِعَصًا مِنْ حَدِيد، فَخُطِفَ وَلَدُهَا إِلى الله وإِلى عَرْشِهِ. 6 وَهَرَبَتِ الـمَرْأَةُ إِلى البَرِّيَّة، حَيْثُ أَعَدَّ لَهَا اللهُ مَوْضِعًا، لِكَي يَقُوتَها هُنَاكَ أَلْفًا ومِئَتَيْنِ وَسِتِّينَ يَومًا. 7 وَحَدَثَتْ حَرْبٌ في السَّماء، مِيخَائِيلُ وَمَلائِكَتُهُ يُحَارِبُونَ التِّنِّين. والتِّنِّينُ وَمَلائِكَتُهُ حَارَبُوا 8 فَمَا قَدِرُوا، ولا وُجِدَ لَهُم مَوْضِعٌ بَعْدُ في السَّمَاء. 9 وأُلْقِيَ التِّنِّينُ العَظِيم، الْحَيَّةُ القَدِيْمَة، الْمَدْعُوُّ إِبْلِيسَ والشَّيْطَان، مُضَلِّلُ الْمَسْكُونَةِ بِأَسْرِهَا، أُلْقِيَ إِلى الأَرْض، وأُلْقِيَ مَعَهُ مَلائِكَتُهُ. 10 وَسَمِعْتُ صَوْتًا عَظِيمًا في السَّمَاءِ يَقُول: "أَلآنَ صَارَ لإِلـهِنَا الـخَلاصُ والقُدْرَةُ والـمَلَكُوتُ وَلِمَسِيحِهِ السُّلْطَان، لأَنَّ الَّذي يَشْكُو إِخْوَتَنا قَدْ أُلْقِيَ إِلى الأَرْض، ذَاكَ الَّذي كانَ يَشْكُوهُم أَمَامَ إِلـهِنَا نَهارًا ولَيْلاً. 11 وهُم ظَفِرُوا عَلَيهِ بِدَمِ الـحَمَل، وَبِكَلِمَةِ شَهَادَتِهِم، وما فَضَّلُوا حَيَاتَهُم على الـمَوْت. 12 لِذـلِكَ تَهَلَّلِي، أَيَّتُها السَّمَاوَات، ويَا أَيُّها الْمُقِيمُونَ فيهَا. والوَيلُ للأَرْضِ والبَحْر، لأَنَّ إِبْلِيسَ هَبَطَ إِلَيْكُما، وَبِهِ سُخْطٌ شَدِيد، لِعِلْمِهِ أَنَّ لَهُ وَقْتًا قَلِيلاً".
Evangile Arabic	34 ولـكِنِ احْذَرُوا لأَنْفُسِكُم لِئَلاَّ تَثْقُلَ قُلُوبُكُم في الـخَلاعَة، وَالسُّكْر، وَهُمُومِ الـحَيَاة، فَيُفَاجِئَكُم ذـلِكَ اليَوم؛ 35 لأَنَّهُ سَيُطْبِقُ مِثْلَ الفَخِّ عَلى جَمِيعِ الـمُقِيمِينَ عَلَى وَجْهِ الأَرْضِ كُلِّهَا. 36 فاسْهَرُوا في كُلِّ وَقْتٍ مُصَلِّينَ لِكَي تَسْتَطِيعُوا أَنْ تَهْرُبُوا مِنْ كُلِّ هـذِهِ الأُمُورِ الـمُزْمِعَةِ أَنْ تَحْدُث، وَتَقِفُوا أَمَامَ ابْنِ الإِنْسَان". 37 وكانَ يَسُوعُ في النَّهَارِ يُعَلِّمُ في الـهَيْكَل، وَفي اللَّيْلِ يَخْرُجُ وَيَبِيتُ في الـجَبَلِ الـمَعْرُوفِ بِجَبَلِ الزَّيْتُون. 38 وكانَ الشَّعْبُ كُلُّه يَأْتِي إِلَيْهِ عِنْدَ الفَجْرِ في الـهَيْكَلِ لِيَسْتَمِعَ إِلَيْه.

Lecture French	01 Un grand signe apparut dans le ciel : une Femme, ayant le soleil pour manteau, la lune sous les pieds, et sur la tête une couronne de douze étoiles. 02 Elle est enceinte, elle crie, dans les douleurs et la torture d’un enfantement. 03 Un autre signe apparut dans le ciel : un grand dragon, rouge feu, avec sept têtes et dix cornes, et, sur chacune des sept têtes, un diadème. 04 Sa queue, entraînant le tiers des étoiles du ciel, les précipita sur la terre. Le Dragon vint se poster devant la femme qui allait enfanter, afin de dévorer l’enfant dès sa naissance. 05 Or, elle mit au monde un fils, un enfant mâle, celui qui sera le berger de toutes les nations, les conduisant avec un sceptre de fer. L’enfant fut enlevé jusqu’auprès de Dieu et de son Trône, 06 et la Femme s’enfuit au désert, où Dieu lui a préparé une place, pour qu’elle y soit nourrie pendant mille deux cent soixante jours. 07 Il y eut alors un combat dans le ciel : Michel, avec ses anges, dut combattre le Dragon. Le Dragon, lui aussi, combattait avec ses anges, 08 mais il ne fut pas le plus fort ; pour eux désormais, nulle place dans le ciel. 09 Oui, il fut rejeté, le grand Dragon, le Serpent des origines, celui qu’on nomme Diable et Satan, le séducteur du monde entier. Il fut jeté sur la terre, et ses anges furent jetés avec lui. 10 Alors j’entendis dans le ciel une voix forte, qui proclamait : « Maintenant voici le salut, la puissance et le règne de notre Dieu, voici le pouvoir de son Christ ! Car il est rejeté, l’accusateur de nos frères, lui qui les accusait, jour et nuit, devant notre Dieu. 11 Eux-mêmes l’ont vaincu par le sang de l’Agneau, par la parole dont ils furent les témoins ; détachés de leur propre vie, ils sont allés jusqu’à mourir. 12 Cieux, soyez donc dans la joie, et vous qui avez aux cieux votre demeure ! Malheur à la terre et à la mer : le diable est descendu vers vous, plein d’une grande fureur ; il sait qu’il lui reste peu de temps. »
Evangile French	34 Tenez-vous sur vos gardes, de crainte que votre cœur ne s’alourdisse dans les beuveries, l’ivresse et les soucis de la vie, et que ce jour-là ne tombe sur vous à l’improviste 35 comme un filet ; il s’abattra, en effet, sur tous les habitants de la terre entière. 36 Restez éveillés et priez en tout temps : ainsi vous aurez la force d’échapper à tout ce qui doit arriver, et de vous tenir debout devant le Fils de l’homme. » 37 Il passait ses journées dans le Temple à enseigner ; mais ses nuits, il sortait les passer en plein air, à l’endroit appelé mont des Oliviers. 38 Et tout le peuple, dès l’aurore, venait à lui dans le Temple pour l’écouter.

Lecture English	1 * A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman* clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.a 2 She was with child and wailed aloud in pain as she labored to give birth.* 3 Then another sign appeared in the sky; it was a huge red dragon,* with seven heads and ten horns, and on its heads were seven diadems.b 4 Its tail swept away a third of the stars in the sky and hurled them down to the earth. Then the dragon stood before the woman about to give birth, to devour her child when she gave birth.c 5 She gave birth to a son, a male child, destined to rule all the nations with an iron rod.* Her child was caught up to God and his throne.d 6 The woman herself fled into the desert where she had a place prepared by God, that there she might be taken care of for twelve hundred and sixty days.* 7 * Then war broke out in heaven; Michael* and his angels battled against the dragon. The dragon and its angels fought back, 8 but they did not prevail and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. 9 The huge dragon, the ancient serpent,* who is called the Devil and Satan, who deceived the whole world, was thrown down to earth, and its angels were thrown down with it.e 10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have salvation and power come, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Anointed. For the accuser* of our brothers is cast out, who accuses them before our God day and night. 11 They conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; love for life did not deter them from death. 12 Therefore, rejoice, you heavens, and you who dwell in them. But woe to you, earth and sea, for the Devil has come down to you in great fury, for he knows he has but a short time.”
Evangile English	34 “Beware that your hearts do not become drowsy from carousing and drunkenness and the anxieties of daily life, and that day catch you by surprisea 35 like a trap. For that day will assault everyone who lives on the face of the earth. 36 Be vigilant at all times and pray that you have the strength to escape the tribulations that are imminent and to stand before the Son of Man.”b Ministry in Jerusalem. 37 During the day, Jesus was teaching in the temple area, but at night he would leave and stay at the place called the Mount of Olives.c 38 And all the people would get up early each morning to listen to him in the temple area.
