Lecture Arabic	1 بَعْدَ ذـلِكَ رَأَيْتُ مَلاكًا آخَرَ نَازِلاً مِنَ السَّمَاء، لَهُ سُلْطَانٌ عَظِيم، فَاسْتَنَارَتِ الأَرْضُ مِنْ مَجْدِهِ. 2 ونَادَى بِصَوْتٍ قَوِيٍّ يَقُول: "سَقَطَتْ، سَقَطَتْ بَابِلُ العَظِيمَة، وصَارَتْ مَسْكِنًا لِلشَّياطِين، ومَأْوًى لِكُلِّ رُوحٍ نَجِس، ومَأْوًى لِكُلِّ طَائِرٍ نَجِسٍ وبَغِيض؛ 3 لأَنَّهَا سَقَتْ جَمِيعَ الأُمَمِ مِنْ سُخْطِ فُجُورِهَا، وزَنَى مَعَهَا مُلُوكُ الأَرْض، واغْتَنَى تُجَّارُ الأَرضِ مِنْ فَرْطِ تَرَفِهَا". 4 وسَمِعْتُ صَوْتًا آخَرَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ يَقُول: "أُخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا، يَا شَعْبِي، لِئَلاَّ تُشَارِكُوهَا في خَطَايَاها، وتَنَالُوا مِنْ ضَرَبَاتِهَا. 5 لأَنَّ خَطَايَاها تَراكَمَتْ إِلى السَّمَاء، وتَذَكَّرَ اللهُ مَظَالِمَهَا. 6 جَازُوهَا كَمَا جَازَتْكُم هِيَ نَفْسُهَا، وضَاعِفُوا لَهَا أَضْعَافًا وَفْقَ أَعْمَالِهَا. واسْكُبُوا لَهَا ضِعْفًا في الكَأْسِ الَّتِي سَكَبَتْهَا. 7 وَبِمِقْدَارِ مَا مَجَّدَتْ نَفْسَهَا وتَرِفَتْ أَنْزِلُوا بِهَا عَذَابًا ونَوْحًا، لأَنَّهَا تَقُولُ في قَلْبِهَا: إِنِّي جَالِسَةٌ مَلِكَة، ولَسْتُ بِأَرْمَلَة، ولَنْ أَرَى النَّوْحَ أَبَدًا. 8 لِذـلِكَ سَتَأْتِي ضَرَبَاتُهَا في يَوْمٍ وَاحِد، مَوْتٌ ونَوْحٌ وجُوع، وتُحْرَقُ بِالنَّار، لأَنَّ اللهَ ديَّانَهَا رَبٌّ قَدِير!
Evangile Arabic	20 أَلـحَقَّ الـحَقَّ أَقُولُ لَكُم: إِنَّكُم سَتَبْكُونَ وتَنُوحُون، أَمَّا العَالَمُ فَسَيَفْرَح. أَنْتُم سَتَحْزَنُونَ ولـكِنَّ حُزْنَكُم سَيَتَحَوَّلُ إِلى فَرَح. 21 أَلـمَرْأَةُ تَحْزَنُ وهِي تَلِد، لأَنَّ سَاعَتَهَا حَانَتْ. ولـكِنَّهَا مَتَى وَلَدَتِ الطِّفْلَ، لا تَعُودُ تَذْكُرُ ضِيقَهَا، لِفَرَحِهَا أَنَّ إِنْسَانًا وُلِدَ في العَالَم. 22 فَأَنْتُمُ الآنَ أَيْضًا تَحْزَنُون، إِنَّمَا سَأَعُودُ فَأَرَاكُم، وتَفْرَحُ قُلُوبُكُم، ولا يَنْزِعُ أَحَدٌ فَرَحَكُم مِنْكُم. 23 وفي ذـلِكَ اليَوْمِ لَنْ تَسْأَلُونِي شَيْئًا. أَلـحَقَّ الـحَقَّ أَقُولُ لَكُم: كُلُّ مَا تَطْلُبُونَهُ مِنَ الآبِ بِاسْمِي، يُعْطِيكُم إِيَّاه. 24 حَتَّى الآنَ لَمْ تَطْلُبُوا بِاسْمِي شَيْئًا. أُطْلُبُوا تَنَالُوا فَيَكْتَمِلَ فَرَحُكُم.

Lecture French	01 Après cela, j’ai vu descendre du ciel un autre ange, ayant un grande pouvoir, et la terre fut illuminée de sa gloire. 02 Il s’écria d’une voix puissante : « Elle est tombée, elle est tombée, Babylone la Grande ! La voilà devenue tanière de démons, repaire de tous les esprits impurs, repaire de tous les oiseaux impurs, repaire de toutes les bêtes impures et répugnantes ! 03 Car toutes les nations ont bu du vin de sa fureur, de sa prostitution ; les rois de la terre se sont prostitués avec elle, et les marchands de la terre se sont enrichis de son luxe insolent. » 04 Et j’entendis une autre voix venant du ciel qui disait : « Sortez de la ville, vous mon peuple, pour ne pas prendre part à ses péchés et ne rien subir des fléaux qui l’affligent. 05 Car ses péchés se sont amoncelés jusqu’au ciel, et, de ses injustices, Dieu s’est souvenu. 06 Traitez-la comme elle vous a traités, rendez-lui au double selon ses actes ; dans la coupe qu’elle a préparée, préparez-lui le double. 07 À la mesure de la gloire et du luxe qu’elle a étalés, donnez-lui torture et deuil. Car elle dit dans son cœur : “Je trône, je suis reine, je ne suis pas veuve, je ne verrai jamais le deuil.” 08 C’est pourquoi des fléaux, en un seul jour, viendront sur elle : mort, deuil, famine, et elle sera brûlée au feu, car il est fort, le Seigneur Dieu qui l’a jugée. »
Evangile French	20 Amen, amen, je vous le dis : vous allez pleurer et vous lamenter, tandis que le monde se réjouira ; vous serez dans la peine, mais votre peine se changera en joie. 21 La femme qui enfante est dans la peine parce que son heure est arrivée. Mais, quand l’enfant est né, elle ne se souvient plus de sa souffrance, tout heureuse qu’un être humain soit venu au monde. 22 Vous aussi, maintenant, vous êtes dans la peine, mais je vous reverrai, et votre cœur se réjouira ; et votre joie, personne ne vous l’enlèvera. 23 En ce jour-là, vous ne me poserez plus de questions. Amen, amen, je vous le dis : ce que vous demanderez au Père en mon nom, il vous le donnera. 24 Jusqu’à présent vous n’avez rien demandé en mon nom ; demandez, et vous recevrez : ainsi votre joie sera parfaite.

Lecture English	1 After this I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth became illumined by his splendor.a 2 * He cried out in a mighty voice: “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great.b She has become a haunt for demons. She is a cage for every unclean spirit, a cage for every unclean bird, [a cage for every unclean] and disgusting [beast]. 3 For all the nations have drunk* the wine of her licentious passion. The kings of the earth had intercourse with her, and the merchants of the earth grew rich from her drive for luxury.”c 4 Then I heard another voice from heaven say: “Depart from her,* my people, so as not to take part in her sins and receive a share in her plagues,d 5 for her sins are piled up to the sky, and God remembers her crimes.e 6 Pay her back as she has paid others. Pay her back double for her deeds. Into her cup pour double what she poured.f 7 To the measure of her boasting and wantonness repay her in torment and grief; for she said to herself, ‘I sit enthroned as queen; I am no widow, and I will never know grief.’g 8 Therefore, her plagues will come in one day, pestilence, grief, and famine; she will be consumed by fire. For mighty is the Lord God who judges her.”
Evangile English	20 Amen, amen, I say to you, you will weep and mourn, while the world rejoices; you will grieve, but your grief will become joy.j 21 When a woman is in labor, she is in anguish because her hour has arrived; but when she has given birth to a child, she no longer remembers the pain because of her joy that a child has been born into the world.k 22 So you also are now in anguish. But I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.l 23 On that day you will not question me about anything. Amen, amen, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you.m 24 Until now you have not asked anything in my name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.
