Lecture Arabic	12 فكَمَا أَنَّ الـجَسَدَ هُوَ وَاحِد، ولَهُ أَعْضَاءٌ كَثِيرَة، وأَعْضَاءُ الـجَسَدِ كُلُّهَا، معَ أَنَّهَا كَثِيرَة، هيَ جَسَدٌ وَاحِد، كَذ,لِكَ الـمَسِيحُ أَيْضًا. 13 فَنَحْنُ جَمِيعًا، يَهُودًا ويُونَانِيِّين، عَبِيدًا وأَحْرَارًا، قَدْ تَعَمَّدْنَا في رُوحٍ وَاحِدٍ لِنَكُونَ جَسَدًا وَاحِدًا، وسُقِينَا جَمِيعًا رُوحًا وَاحِدًا. 14 فَالـجَسَدُ لَيْسَ عُضْوًا وَاحِدًا، بَلْ هوَ أَعْضَاءٌ كَثِيرَة. 15 فَإِنْ قَالَتِ الرِّجْلُ: "لأَنِّي لَسْتُ يَدًا، فأَنَا لَسْتُ مِنَ الـجَسَد!"، أَمِنْ أَجْلِ ذـلِكَ لا تَكُونُ مِنَ الـجَسَد؟ 16 وإِنْ قَالَتِ الأُذُن: "لأَنِّي لَسْتُ عَيْنًا، فَأَنَا لَسْتُ مِنَ الـجَسَد!"، أَمِنْ أَجْلِ ذـلِكَ لا تَكُونُ مِنَ الـجَسَد؟ 17 فإَنْ كَانَ الـجَسَدُ كُلُّهُ عَيْنًا، فَأَيْنَ السَّمْعُ؟ وإِنْ كَانَ كُلُّهُ سَمْعًا، فأَيْنَ الشَّمّ؟ 18 ولـكِنَّ اللهَ جَعَلَ الأَعْضَاء، كُلَّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهَا، في الـجَسَد، كَمَا شَاء. 19 وإِنْ كَانَتِ الأَعْضَاءُ كُلُّهَا عُضْوًا وَاحِدًا، فَأَيْنَ الـجَسَد؟ 20 والـحَالُ أَنَّ الأَعْضَاءَ كَثِيرَة، ولـكِنَّ الـجَسَدَ وَاحِد. 21 فلا تَسْتَطِيعُ العَيْنُ أَنْ تَقُولَ لِليَد: "لا أَحْتَاجُ إِلَيْكِ!"، ولا الرَّأْسُ لِلرِّجْلَيْن: "لا أَحْتَاجُ إِلَيْكُمَا!"، 22 بَلْ بِالأَحْرَى فَإِنَّ الأَعْضَاءَ الَّتي تُحْسَبُ أَضْعَفَ أَعْضَاءِ الـجَسَد، هِيَ ضَرُورِيَّة. 23 والَّتي نَظُنُّهَا أَحْقَرَ أَعْضَاءِ الـجَسَد، فَإِيَّاهَا نَخُصُّ بِإِكْرَامٍ أَوْفَر؛ والَّتي نَسْتَحِي بِهَا، تَحْصَلُ عَلى احْتِرَامٍ أَكْثَر. 24 أَمَّا الأَعْضَاءُ الكَرِيْمَةُ فَلا تَحْتَاجُ إِلى ذـلِكَ. لـكِنَّ اللهَ نَظَّمَ الـجَسَد، فأَعْطَى العُضْوَ الـمُحْتَقَرَ فِيهِ إِكْرَامًا أَوْفَر، 25 لِئَلاَّ يَكُونَ في الـجَسَدِ انْقِسَام، بَلْ لِتَهْتَمَّ الأَعْضَاءُ بَعْضُهَا بِبَعْضٍ اهْتِمَامًا وَاحِدًا. 26 فَإِنْ تَأَلَّمَ عُضْوٌ وَاحِدٌ تَأَلَّمَتْ مَعَهُ جَمِيعُ الأَعْضَاء. وإِنْ أُكْرِمَ عُضْوٌ وَاحِدٌ فَرِحَتْ مَعَهُ جَميعُ الأَعْضَاء. 27 فأَنْتُم جَسَدُ الـمَسِيح، وأَعْضَاءٌ فِيه، كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ كَمَا قُسِمَ لَهُ.
Evangile Arabic	15 حِينَئِذٍ ذَهَبَ الفَرِّيسِيُّونَ فتَشَاوَرُوا لِكَي يَصْطَادُوهُ بِكَلِمَة. 16 ثُمَّ أَرْسَلُوا إِلَيْهِ تَلامِيذَهُم مَعَ الـهِيرُودُوسِيِّينَ قَائِلين: "يَا مُعَلِّم، نَحْنُ نَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ صَادِق، وأَنَّكَ تُعَلِّمُ طَرِيقَ اللهِ بِالـحَقّ، ولا تُبَالِي بِأَحَد، لأَنَّكَ لا تُحَابِي وُجُوهَ النَّاس. 17 فَقُلْ لَنَا: مَا رَأْيُكَ؟ هَلْ يَجُوزُ أَنْ نُؤَدِّيَ الـجِزْيَةَ إِلى قَيْصَرَ أَم لا؟". 18 وعَرَفَ يَسُوعُ مَكْرَهُم فَقَال: "لِمَاذَا تُجَرِّبُونِي، يَا مُراؤُون؟ 19 أَرُونِي نُقُودَ الـجِزْيَة". فَقَدَّمُوا لَهُ دِيْنَارًا. 20 فَقَالَ لَهُم: "لِمَنْ هـذِهِ الصُّورَةُ والكِتَابَة؟". 21 قَالُوا لَهُ: "لِقَيْصَر". حَينَئِذٍ قَالَ لَهُم: "أَدُّوا إِذًا مَا لِقَيْصَرَ إِلى قَيْصَرَ ومَا للهِ إِلى الله". 22 فَلَمَّا سَمِعُوا تَعَجَّبُوا وتَرَكُوهُ وَمَضَوا.

Lecture French	12 Prenons une comparaison : le corps ne fait qu’un, il a pourtant plusieurs membres ; et tous les membres, malgré leur nombre, ne forment qu’un seul corps. Il en est ainsi pour le Christ. 13 C’est dans un unique Esprit, en effet, que nous tous, Juifs ou païens, esclaves ou hommes libres, nous avons été baptisés pour former un seul corps. Tous, nous avons été désaltérés par un unique Esprit. 14 Le corps humain se compose non pas d’un seul, mais de plusieurs membres. 15 Le pied aurait beau dire : « Je ne suis pas la main, donc je ne fais pas partie du corps », il fait cependant partie du corps. 16 L’oreille aurait beau dire : « Je ne suis pas l’œil, donc je ne fais pas partie du corps », elle fait cependant partie du corps. 17 Si, dans le corps, il n’y avait que les yeux, comment pourrait-on entendre ? S’il n’y avait que les oreilles, comment pourrait-on sentir les odeurs ? 18 Mais, dans le corps, Dieu a disposé les différents membres comme il l’a voulu. 19 S’il n’y avait en tout qu’un seul membre, comment cela ferait-il un corps ? 20 En fait, il y a plusieurs membres, et un seul corps. 21 L’œil ne peut pas dire à la main : « Je n’ai pas besoin de toi » ; la tête ne peut pas dire aux pieds : « Je n’ai pas besoin de vous ». 22 Bien plus, les parties du corps qui paraissent les plus délicates sont indispensables. 23 Et celles qui passent pour moins honorables, ce sont elles que nous traitons avec plus d’honneur ; celles qui sont moins décentes, nous les traitons plus décemment ; 24 pour celles qui sont décentes, ce n’est pas nécessaire. Mais en organisant le corps, Dieu a accordé plus d’honneur à ce qui en est dépourvu. 25 Il a voulu ainsi qu’il n’y ait pas de division dans le corps, mais que les différents membres aient tous le souci les uns des autres. 26 Si un seul membre souffre, tous les membres partagent sa souffrance ; si un membre est à l’honneur, tous partagent sa joie. 27 Or, vous êtes corps du Christ et, chacun pour votre part, vous êtes membres de ce corps.
Evangile French	15 Alors les pharisiens allèrent tenir conseil pour prendre Jésus au piège en le faisant parler. 16 Ils lui envoient leurs disciples, accompagnés des partisans d’Hérode : « Maître, lui disent-ils, nous le savons : tu es toujours vrai et tu enseignes le chemin de Dieu en vérité ; tu ne te laisses influencer par personne, car ce n’est pas selon l’apparence que tu considères les gens. 17 Alors, donne-nous ton avis : Est-il permis, oui ou non, de payer l’impôt à César, l’empereur ? » 18 Connaissant leur perversité, Jésus dit : « Hypocrites ! pourquoi voulez-vous me mettre à l’épreuve ? 19 Montrez-moi la monnaie de l’impôt. » Ils lui présentèrent une pièce d’un denier. 20 Il leur dit : « Cette effigie et cette inscription, de qui sont-elles ? » 21 Ils répondirent : « De César. » Alors il leur dit : « Rendez donc à César ce qui est à César, et à Dieu ce qui est à Dieu. » 22 À ces mots, ils furent tout étonnés. Ils le laissèrent et s’en allèrent.

Lecture English	12 As a body is one though it has many parts, and all the parts of the body, though many, are one body, so also Christ.g 13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, slaves or free persons, and we were all given to drink of one Spirit.h 14 Now the body is not a single part, but many. 15 If a foot should say, “Because I am not a hand I do not belong to the body,” it does not for this reason belong any less to the body. 16 Or if an ear should say, “Because I am not an eye I do not belong to the body,” it does not for this reason belong any less to the body. 17 If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole body were hearing, where would the sense of smell be? 18 But as it is, God placed the parts, each one of them, in the body as he intended. 19 If they were all one part, where would the body be? 20 But as it is, there are many parts, yet one body. 21 The eye cannot say to the hand, “I do not need you,” nor again the head to the feet, “I do not need you.” 22 Indeed, the parts of the body that seem to be weaker are all the more necessary, 23 and those parts of the body that we consider less honorable we surround with greater honor, and our less presentable parts are treated with greater propriety, 24 whereas our more presentable parts do not need this. But God has so constructed the body as to give greater honor to a part that is without it, 25 so that there may be no division in the body, but that the parts may have the same concern for one another. 26 If [one] part suffers, all the parts suffer with it; if one part is honored, all the parts share its joy. Application to Christ.* 27 Now you are Christ’s body, and individually parts of it.i
Evangile English	15 d Then the Pharisees* went off and plotted how they might entrap him in speech. 16 They sent their disciples to him, with the Herodians,* saying, “Teacher, we know that you are a truthful man and that you teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. And you are not concerned with anyone’s opinion, for you do not regard a person’s status. 17 * Tell us, then, what is your opinion: Is it lawful to pay the census tax to Caesar or not?” 18 Knowing their malice, Jesus said, “Why are you testing me, you hypocrites? 19 * Show me the coin that pays the census tax.” Then they handed him the Roman coin. 20 He said to them, “Whose image is this and whose inscription?” 21 e They replied, “Caesar’s.”* At that he said to them, “Then repay to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to God what belongs to God.” 22 When they heard this they were amazed, and leaving him they went away.
