Lecture Arabic	1 لا أُريدُ أَنْ تَجْهَلُوا، أَيُّهَا الإِخْوَة، أَنَّ آبَاءَنَا كَانُوا كُلُّهُم تَحْتَ الغَمَام، وعَبَرُوا كُلُّهُم في البَحْر، 2 وتَعَمَّدُوا كُلُّهُم بِمُوسَى في الغَمَامِ وفي البَحْر، 3 وتَنَاوَلُوا كُلُّهُم طَعَامًا رُوحِيًّا وَاحِدًا، 4 وشَرِبُوا كُلُّهُم شَرَابًا رُوحِيًّا وَاحِدًا، لأَنَّهُم كَانُوا يَشْرَبُونَ مِنْ صَخْرَةٍ رُوحِيَّةٍ كَانَتْ تُرَافِقُهُم، وتِلْكَ الصَّخْرَةُ كَانَتِ الـمَسِيح. 5 ومعَ ذ,لِكَ لَمْ يَرْضَ اللهُ عَنْ أَكْثَرِهِم، فَصُرِعُوا في البَرِّيَّة. 6 وإِنَّمَا حَدَثَتْ تِلْكَ الأُمُورُ لِتَكُونَ مِثَالاً لَنَا، لِئَلاَّ نَشْتَهِيَ الشُّرُورَ كَمَا اشْتَهَى أُولـئِكَ. 7 فَلا تَصِيرُوا عَابِدِينَ لِلأَوْثَانِ كَمَا كَانَ بَعْضُهُم، عَلى مَا هوَ مَكْتُوب: "جَلَسَ الشَّعْبُ يَأْكُلُونَ ويَشْرَبُون، ثُمَّ قَامُوا يَلْعَبُون". 8 ولا نَسْتَسْلِمْ لِلفُجُورِ كَمَا اسْتَسْلَمَ بَعْضُهُم، فَسَقَطَ مِنْهُم في يَوْمٍ وَاحِدٍ ثَلاثَةٌ وعِشْرُونَ أَلْفًا. 9 ولا نُجَرِّبَنَّ الرَّبَّ كَمَا جَرَّبَهُ بَعْضُهُم، فأَهْلَكَتْهُمُ الـحَيَّات. 10 ولا تتَذَمَّرُوا كَمَا تَذَمَّرَ بَعْضُهُم، فأَهْلَكَهُمُ الـمُهْلِك. 11 وإِنَّمَا حَدَثَتْ تِلْكَ الأُمُورُ لِتَكُونَ عِبْرَةً، وكُتِبَتْ إِنْذَارًا لَنَا، نَحْنُ الَّذِينَ بَلَغَتْ إَلَيْنَا أَوَاخِرُ الدُّهُور. 12 إِذًا فالَّذي يَظُنُّ أَنَّهُ وَاقِفٌ فَلْيَحْذَرِ السُّقُوط. 13 مَا أَصَابَتْكُم تَجْرِبَةٌ إِلاَّ وكَانَتْ في وُسْعِ البَشَر. وأَمينٌ هُوَ الله، فَلَنْ يَسْمَحَ أَنْ تُجَرَّبُوا فَوْقَ مَا تُطيقُون، بَلْ يَجْعَلُ معَ التَّجْرِبَةِ مَخْرَجًا، لِتَسْتَطيعُوا أَنْ تَحْتَمِلُوهَا.
Evangile Arabic	44 ويُشْبِهُ مَلَكُوتُ السَّمَاواتِ كَنْزًا مُخْفًى في حَقْل، وَجَدَهُ رَجُلٌ فَخَبَّأَهُ، ومِنْ فَرَحِهِ مَضَى وبَاعَ كُلَّ مَا لَهُ واشْتَرَى ذـلِكَ الـحَقْل. 45 وأَيْضًا يُشْبِهُ مَلَكُوتُ السَّمَاوَاتِ رَجُلاً تَاجِرًا يَبْحَثُ عَنْ لآلِئَ كرِيْمَة. 46 ومَا إِنْ وجَدَ لُؤْلُؤَةً ثَمِيْنَةً جِدًّا حَتَّى مَضَى فَبَاعَ كُلَّ مَا لَهُ واشْتَراهَا.

Lecture French	01 Frères, je ne voudrais pas vous laisser ignorer que, lors de la sortie d’Égypte, nos pères étaient tous sous la protection de la nuée, et que tous ont passé à travers la mer. 02 Tous, ils ont été unis à Moïse par un baptême dans la nuée et dans la mer ; 03 tous, ils ont mangé la même nourriture spirituelle ; 04 tous, ils ont bu la même boisson spirituelle ; car ils buvaient à un rocher spirituel qui les suivait, et ce rocher, c’était le Christ. 05 Cependant, la plupart n’ont pas su plaire à Dieu : leurs ossements, en effet, jonchèrent le désert. 06 Ces événements devaient nous servir d’exemple, pour nous empêcher de désirer ce qui est mal comme l’ont fait ces gens-là. 07 Ne devenez pas idolâtres, comme certains d’entre eux, selon qu’il est écrit : Le peuple s’est assis pour manger et boire, et ils se sont levés pour s’amuser. 08 Ne nous livrons pas à la débauche, comme l’ont fait certains d’entre eux : il en est tombé vingt-trois mille en un seul jour. 09 Ne mettons pas le Christ à l’épreuve, comme l’ont fait certains d’entre eux : ils ont péri mordus par les serpents. 10 Cessez de récriminer comme l’ont fait certains d’entre eux : ils ont été exterminés. 11 Ce qui leur est arrivé devait servir d’exemple, et l’Écriture l’a raconté pour nous avertir, nous qui nous trouvons à la fin des temps. 12 Ainsi donc, celui qui se croit solide, qu’il fasse attention à ne pas tomber. 13 L’épreuve qui vous a atteints n’a pas dépassé la mesure humaine. Dieu est fidèle : il ne permettra pas que vous soyez éprouvés au-delà de vos forces. Mais avec l’épreuve il donnera le moyen d’en sortir et la force de la supporter.
Evangile French	44 Le royaume des Cieux est comparable à un trésor caché dans un champ ; l’homme qui l’a découvert le cache de nouveau. Dans sa joie, il va vendre tout ce qu’il possède, et il achète ce champ. 45 Ou encore : Le royaume des Cieux est comparable à un négociant qui recherche des perles fines. 46 Ayant trouvé une perle de grande valeur, il va vendre tout ce qu’il possède, et il achète la perle.

Lecture English	1 * I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that our ancestors were all under the cloud and all passed through the sea,a 2 and all of them were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea.b 3 All ate the same spiritual food, 4 and all drank the same spiritual drink, for they drank from a spiritual rock that followed them,* and the rock was the Christ.c 5 Yet God was not pleased with most of them, for they were struck down in the desert.d 6 * These things happened as examples for us, so that we might not desire evil things, as they did.e 7 And do not become idolaters, as some of them did, as it is written, “The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to revel.”f 8 Let us not indulge in immorality as some of them did, and twenty-three thousand fell within a single day.g 9 Let us not test Christ* as some of them did, and suffered death by serpents.h 10 Do not grumble as some of them did, and suffered death by the destroyer.i 11 These things happened to them as an example, and they have been written down as a warning to us, upon whom the end of the ages has come.* 12 Therefore, whoever thinks he is standing secure should take care not to fall.* 13 No trial has come to you but what is human. God is faithful and will not let you be tried beyond your strength; but with the trial he will also provide a way out, so that you may be able to bear it.j
Evangile English	44 o “The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure buried in a field,* which a person finds and hides again, and out of joy goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. 45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant searching for fine pearls. 46 When he finds a pearl of great price, he goes and sells all that he has and buys it.
