Lecture Arabic	11 أَمَّا الـمَسِيحُ فَقَدْ ظَهَرَ عَظِيمَ أَحْبَارِ الـخَيْرَاتِ الآتِيَة، واجْتَازَ الـمَسْكِنَ الأَعْظَمَ والأَكْمَل، غَيرَ الـمَصْنُوعِ بِالأَيْدِي، أَيْ لَيْسَ مِن هـذِهِ الـخَليقَة، 12 فَدَخَلَ إِلى قُدْسِ الأَقْدَاسِ مَرَّةً واحِدَة، لا بِدَمِ الـتُّيُوسِ والعُجُول، بَلْ بِدَمِهِ هُوَ، فَحَقَّقَ لنَا فِدَاءً أَبَدِيًّا. 13 فإِذا كانَ رَشُّ دَمِ الـتُّيُوسِ والثِّيْرَانِ ورَمَادِ العِجْلَةِ على الـمُنَجَّسِين، يُقَدِّسُ أَجْسَادَهُم فَيُطَهِّرُهُم، 14 فَكَم بِالأَحْرَى دَمُ الْمَسِيح، الَّذي قَرَّبَ نَفْسَهُ للهِ بِالرُّوحِ الأَزَلِيِّ قُرْبَانًا لا عَيْبَ فِيه، يُطَهِّرُ ضَمِيرَنَا منَ الأَعْمَالِ الـمَيْتَة، لِنَعْبُدَ اللهَ الـحَيّ! 15 ولِذـلِكَ فَهُوَ الوَسِيطُ لِعَهْدٍ جَدِيد، وقَدْ صَارَ مَوتُهُ فِدَاءً لِتَعَدِّيَاتِ العَهْدِ الأَوَّل، حَتَّى يَنَالَ بِهِ الـمَدْعُوُّونَ وَعْدَ الْمِيْرَاثِ الأَبَدِيّ.
Evangile Arabic	22 وحَانَ عِيدُ التَّجْدِيدِ في أُورَشَلِيم، وكَانَ فَصْلُ الشِّتَاء. 23 وكَانَ يَسُوعُ يَتَمَشَّى في الـهَيْكَل، في رِوَاقِ سُلَيْمَان. 24 فَأَحَاطَ بِهِ اليَهُودُ وأَخَذُوا يَقُولُونَ لَهُ: "إِلى مَتَى تُبْقِي نُفُوسَنَا حَائِرَة؟ إِنْ كُنْتَ أَنْتَ الـمَسِيح، فَقُلْهُ لَنَا صَرَاحَةً". 25 أَجَابَهُم يَسُوع: "قُلْتُهُ لَكُم، لـكِنَّكُم لا تُؤْمِنُون. أَلأَعْمَالُ الَّتِي أَعْمَلُهَا أَنَا بِاسْمِ أَبِي هِيَ تَشْهَدُ لِي. 26 لـكِنَّكُم لا تُؤْمِنُون، لأَنَّكُم لَسْتُم مِنْ خِرَافِي. 27 خِرَافِي تَسْمَعُ صَوْتِي، وأَنَا أَعْرِفُهَا، وهِي تَتْبَعُنِي. 28 وأَنَا أُعْطِيهَا حَيَاةً أَبَدِيَّة، فَلَنْ تَهْلِكَ أَبَدًا، وَلَنْ يَخْطَفَهَا أَحَدٌ مِنْ يَدِي. 29 أَبِي الَّذي أَعْطَانِي إِيَّاهَا هُوَ أَعْظَمُ مِنَ الكُلّ، ولا يَقْدِرُ أَحَدٌ أَنْ يَخْطَفَهَا مِنْ يَدِ الآب. 30 أَنَا والآبُ وَاحِد". 31 فَأَخَذَ اليَهُودُ، مِنْ جَدِيدٍ، حِجَارَةً لِيَرْجُمُوه. 32 قَالَ لَهُم يَسُوع: "أَعْمَالاً حَسَنَةً كَثِيرَةً أَرَيْتُكُم مِنْ عِنْدِ الآب، فَلأَيِّ عَمَلٍ مِنْهَا تَرْجُمُونِي؟". 33 أَجَابَهُ اليَهُود: "لا لِعَمَلٍ حَسَنٍ نَرْجُمُكَ، بَلْ لِتَجْدِيف. لأَنَّكَ، وَأَنْتَ إِنْسَان، تَجْعلُ نَفْسَكَ إِلـهًا". 34 أَجَابَهُم يَسُوع: "أَمَا كُتِبَ في تَوْرَاتِكُم: أَنَا قُلْتُ إِنَّكُم آلِهَة؟ 35 فَإِذَا كَانَتِ التَّوْرَاةُ تَدْعُو آلِهَةً أُولـئِكَ الَّذِينَ صَارَتْ إِلَيْهِم كَلِمَةُ الله، ولا يُمْكِنُ أَنْ يُنْقَضَ الكِتَاب، 36 فَكَيْفَ تَقُولُونَ لِي، أَنَا الَّذي قَدَّسَهُ الآبُ وأَرْسَلَهُ إِلى العَالَم: أَنْتَ تُجَدِّف؛ لأَنِيِّ قُلْتُ: أَنَا ابْنُ الله؟ 37 إِنْ كُنْتُ لا أَعْمَلُ أَعْمَالَ أَبِي، فلا تُصَدِّقُونِي، 38 أَمَّا إِذَا كُنْتُ أَعْمَلُهَا، وإِنْ كُنْتُم لا تُصَدِّقُونِي، فَصَدِّقُوا هـذِهِ الأَعْمَال، لِكَي تَعْرِفُوا وتُؤْمِنُوا أَنَّ الآبَ فِيَّ وَأَنِّي في الآب". 39 فَحَاوَلُوا مِنْ جَدِيدٍ أَنْ يَقْبِضُوا عَلَيْه، فَأَفْلَتَ مِنْ يَدِهِم. 40 وعَادَ يَسُوعُ إِلى عِبْرِ الأُرْدُنّ، إِلى حَيْثُ كَانَ يُوحَنَّا يُعَمِّدْ مِنْ قَبْلُ، فَأَقَامَ هُنَاك. 41 وأَتَى إِلَيْهِ كَثِيرُونَ وكَانُوا يَقُولُون: "لَمْ يَصْنَعْ يُوحَنَّا أَيَّ آيَة، ولـكِنْ، كُلُّ مَا قَالَهُ في هـذَا الرَّجُلِ كَانَ حَقًّا". 42 فآمَنَ بِهِ هُنَاكَ كَثِيرُون.

Lecture French	11 Le Christ est venu, grand prêtre des biens à venir. Par la tente plus grande et plus parfaite, celle qui n’est pas œuvre de mains humaines et n’appartient pas à cette création, 12 il est entré une fois pour toutes dans le sanctuaire, en répandant, non pas le sang de boucs et de jeunes taureaux, mais son propre sang. De cette manière, il a obtenu une libération définitive. 13 S’il est vrai qu’une simple aspersion avec le sang de boucs et de taureaux, et de la cendre de génisse, sanctifie ceux qui sont souillés, leur rendant la pureté de la chair, 14 le sang du Christ fait bien davantage, car le Christ, poussé par l’Esprit éternel, s’est offert lui-même à Dieu comme une victime sans défaut ; son sang purifiera donc notre conscience des actes qui mènent à la mort, pour que nous puissions rendre un culte au Dieu vivant. 15 Voilà pourquoi il est le médiateur d’une alliance nouvelle, d’un testament nouveau : puisque sa mort a permis le rachat des transgressions commises sous le premier Testament, ceux qui sont appelés peuvent recevoir l’héritage éternel jadis promis.
Evangile French	22 Alors arriva la fête de la dédicace du Temple à Jérusalem. C’était l’hiver. 23 Jésus allait et venait dans le Temple, sous la colonnade de Salomon. 24 Les Juifs firent cercle autour de lui ; ils lui disaient : « Combien de temps vas-tu nous tenir en haleine ? Si c’est toi le Christ, dis-le nous ouvertement ! » 25 Jésus leur répondit : « Je vous l’ai dit, et vous ne croyez pas. Les œuvres que je fais, moi, au nom de mon Père, voilà ce qui me rend témoignage. 26 Mais vous, vous ne croyez pas, parce que vous n’êtes pas de mes brebis. 27 Mes brebis écoutent ma voix ; moi, je les connais, et elles me suivent. 28 Je leur donne la vie éternelle : jamais elles ne périront, et personne ne les arrachera de ma main. 29 Mon Père, qui me les a données, est plus grand que tout, et personne ne peut les arracher de la main du Père. 30 Le Père et moi, nous sommes UN. » 31 De nouveau, des Juifs prirent des pierres pour lapider Jésus. 32 Celui-ci reprit la parole : « J’ai multiplié sous vos yeux les œuvres bonnes qui viennent du Père. Pour laquelle de ces œuvres voulez-vous me lapider ? » 33 Ils lui répondirent : « Ce n’est pas pour une œuvre bonne que nous voulons te lapider, mais c’est pour un blasphème : tu n’es qu’un homme, et tu te fais Dieu. » 34 Jésus leur répliqua : « N’est-il pas écrit dans votre Loi : J’ai dit : Vous êtes des dieux ? 35 Elle les appelle donc des dieux, ceux à qui la parole de Dieu s’adressait, et l’Écriture ne peut pas être abolie. 36 Or, celui que le Père a consacré et envoyé dans le monde, vous lui dites : “Tu blasphèmes”, parce que j’ai dit : “Je suis le Fils de Dieu”. 37 Si je ne fais pas les œuvres de mon Père, continuez à ne pas me croire. 38 Mais si je les fais, même si vous ne me croyez pas, croyez les œuvres. Ainsi vous reconnaîtrez, et de plus en plus, que le Père est en moi, et moi dans le Père. » 39 Eux cherchaient de nouveau à l’arrêter, mais il échappa à leurs mains. 40 Il repartit de l’autre côté du Jourdain, à l’endroit où, au début, Jean baptisait ; et il y demeura. 41 Beaucoup vinrent à lui en déclarant : « Jean n’a pas accompli de signe ; mais tout ce que Jean a dit de celui-ci était vrai. » 42 Et là, beaucoup crurent en lui.

Lecture English	11 * But when Christ came as high priest of the good things that have come to be,* passing through the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made by hands, that is, not belonging to this creation,h 12 he entered once for all into the sanctuary, not with the blood of goats and calves but with his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption.i 13 For if the blood of goats and bulls and the sprinkling of a heifer’s ashes* can sanctify those who are defiled so that their flesh is cleansed,j 14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal spirit* offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from dead works to worship the living God.k 15 * For this reason he is mediator of a new covenant: since a death has taken place for deliverance from transgressions under the first covenant, those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance.l
Evangile English	22 The feast of the Dedication* was then taking place in Jerusalem. It was winter.l 23 * And Jesus walked about in the temple area on the Portico of Solomon. 24 So the Jews gathered around him and said to him, “How long are you going to keep us in suspense?* If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly.”m 25 Jesus answered them, “I told you* and you do not believe. The works I do in my Father’s name testify to me.n 26 But you do not believe, because you are not among my sheep.o 27 My sheep hear my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish. No one can take them out of my hand.p 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all,* and no one can take them out of the Father’s hand.q 30 * The Father and I are one.”r 31 The Jews again picked up rocks to stone him.s 32 Jesus answered them, “I have shown you many good works from my Father. For which of these are you trying to stone me?” 33 The Jews answered him, “We are not stoning you for a good work but for blasphemy. You, a man, are making yourself God.”t 34 * Jesus answered them,u “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods”’? 35 If it calls them gods to whom the word of God came, and scripture cannot be set aside, 36 can you say that the one whom the Father has consecrated* and sent into the world blasphemes because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’?v 37 If I do not perform my Father’s works, do not believe me; 38 but if I perform them, even if you do not believe me, believe the works, so that you may realize [and understand] that the Father is in me and I am in the Father.”w 39 [Then] they tried again to arrest him; but he escaped from their power. 40 He went back across the Jordan to the place where John first baptized, and there he remained.x 41 Many came to him and said, “John performed no sign,* but everything John said about this man was true.” 42 And many there began to believe in him.y
