Lecture Arabic	15 ولِذـلِكَ فَهُوَ الوَسِيطُ لِعَهْدٍ جَدِيد، وقَدْ صَارَ مَوتُهُ فِدَاءً لِتَعَدِّيَاتِ العَهْدِ الأَوَّل، حَتَّى يَنَالَ بِهِ الـمَدْعُوُّونَ وَعْدَ الْمِيْرَاثِ الأَبَدِيّ. 16 وحَيْثُ تَكُونُ وَصِيَّة، لا بُدَّ مِن إِثْبَاتِ مَوْتِ الـمُوصِي؛ 17 فَالوَصِيَّةُ تُثَبَّتُ بِمَوتِ الـمُوصِي، لأَنَّهَا لا قُوَّةَ لَهَا البَتَّةَ مَا دَامَ الـمُوصِي حَيًّا. 18 لِذـلِكَ فَالعَهْدُ الأَوَّلُ نَفْسُهُ لَمْ يُدَشَّنْ بِغَيْرِ دَم. 19 فبَعْدَ أَنْ تَلا مُوسَى على جَمِيعِ الشَّعْبِ كُلَّ الوَصَايَا، كَمَا هيَ في الشَّرِيعَة، أَخَذَ دمَ العُجُول، مَعَ مَاءٍ وصُوفٍ قِرْمِزِيّ، وزُوفَى، فَرَشَّ على الكِتَابِ نَفْسِهِ وعلى الشَّعْبِ كُلِّهِ 20 قَائِلاً: "هـذَا هُوَ دَمُ العَهْدِ الَّذي أَوْصَاكُمُ اللهُ بِهِ!". 21 وكَذـلِكَ رَشَّ الدَّمَ عَلى الـمَسْكِن، وعلى كُلِّ آنِيَةِ الـخِدْمَة. 22 فَإِنَّ الشَّرِيعَةَ تَقْضِي بِأَنْ يُطَهَّرَ كُلُّ شَيءٍ تَقْرِيبًا بِالدَّم، ولا مَغْفِرَةَ بِدُونِ إِرَاقَةِ دَم. 23 فإِذَا كانَ مِنَ الضَّرُورِيِّ تَطْهِيرُ مَا هُوَ صُورَةٌ لِلأُمُورِ السَّمَاويَّةِ بِتِلْكَ الذَّبائِح، فَالأُمُورُ السَّماوِيَّةُ عَيْنُهَا تُطَهَّرُ بِذَبَائِحَ أَفْضَل.
Evangile Arabic	11 أَنَا هُوَ الرَّاعِي الصَّالِح. والرَّاعِي الصَّالِحُ يَبْذُلُ نَفْسَهُ عَنِ الـخِرَاف. 12 أَمَّا الأَجِير، وهُوَ لَيْسَ بِرَاعٍ، ولَيْسَتِ الـخِرَافُ لَهُ، فَيَرَى الذِّئْبَ مُقْبِلاً، ويَتْرُكُ الـخِرَافَ ويَهْرُب، فيَخْطَفُهَا الذِّئْبُ ويُبَدِّدُهَا؛ 13 لأَنَّ الأَجِيرَ أَجِير، ولا يُبَالِي بِالـخِرَاف. 14 أَنَا هُوَ الرَّاعِي الصَّالِح. أَعْرِفُ خِرَافِي وخَرِافِي تَعْرِفُنِي، 15 كَمَا أَنَّ الآبَ يَعْرِفُنِي وأَنَا أَعْرِفُ الآب، وأَبْذُلُ نَفْسِي عَنِ الـخِرَاف. 16 ولِي خِرَافٌ أُخْرَى لَيْسَتْ مِنْ هـذِهِ الـحَظِيرَة، عَلَيَّ أَنْ آتِيَ بِهَا هِيَ أَيْضًا. وَسَتَسْمَعُ صَوتِي، فَتَكُونُ رَعِيَّةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ ورَاعٍ وَاحِد.

Lecture French	15 Voilà pourquoi il est le médiateur d’une alliance nouvelle, d’un testament nouveau : puisque sa mort a permis le rachat des transgressions commises sous le premier Testament, ceux qui sont appelés peuvent recevoir l’héritage éternel jadis promis. 16 Or, quand il y a testament, il est nécessaire que soit constatée la mort de son auteur. 17 Car un testament ne vaut qu’après la mort, il est sans effet tant que son auteur est en vie. 18 C’est pourquoi le premier Testament lui-même n’a pas été inauguré sans que soit utilisé du sang : 19 lorsque Moïse eut proclamé chaque commandement à tout le peuple conformément à la Loi, il prit le sang des veaux et des boucs avec de l’eau, de la laine écarlate et de l’hysope, et il en aspergea le livre lui-même et tout le peuple, 20 en disant : Ceci est le sang de l’Alliance que Dieu a prescrite pour vous. 21 Puis il aspergea de même avec le sang la tente et tous les objets du service liturgique. 22 D’après la Loi, on purifie presque tout avec du sang, et s’il n’y a pas de sang versé, il n’y a pas de pardon. 23 S’il est nécessaire que soient purifiées par ces rites les images de ce qui est dans les cieux, les réalités célestes elles-mêmes doivent l’être par des sacrifices bien meilleurs que ceux d’ici-bas.
Evangile French	11 Moi, je suis le bon pasteur, le vrai berger, qui donne sa vie pour ses brebis. 12 Le berger mercenaire n’est pas le pasteur, les brebis ne sont pas à lui : s’il voit venir le loup, il abandonne les brebis et s’enfuit ; le loup s’en empare et les disperse. 13 Ce berger n’est qu’un mercenaire, et les brebis ne comptent pas vraiment pour lui. 14 Moi, je suis le bon pasteur ; je connais mes brebis, et mes brebis me connaissent, 15 comme le Père me connaît, et que je connais le Père ; et je donne ma vie pour mes brebis. 16 J’ai encore d’autres brebis, qui ne sont pas de cet enclos : celles-là aussi, il faut que je les conduise. Elles écouteront ma voix : il y aura un seul troupeau et un seul pasteur.

Lecture English	15 * For this reason he is mediator of a new covenant: since a death has taken place for deliverance from transgressions under the first covenant, those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance.l 16 * Now where there is a will, the death of the testator must be established. 17 For a will takes effect only at death; it has no force while the testator is alive. 18 Thus not even the first covenant was inaugurated without blood. 19 * When every commandment had been proclaimed by Moses to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves [and goats], together with water and crimson wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people,m 20 saying, “This is ‘the blood of the covenant which God has enjoined upon you.’”n 21 In the same way, he sprinkled also the tabernacle* and all the vessels of worship with blood.o 22 * According to the law almost everything is purified by blood,p and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. 23 * Therefore, it was necessary for the copies of the heavenly things to be purified by these rites, but the heavenly things themselves by better sacrifices than these.q
Evangile English	11 I am the good shepherd. A good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.c 12 A hired man, who is not a shepherd and whose sheep are not his own, sees a wolf coming and leaves the sheep and runs away, and the wolf catches and scatters them.d 13 This is because he works for pay and has no concern for the sheep. 14 I am the good shepherd, and I know mine and mine know me, 15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I will lay down my life for the sheep.e 16 I have other sheep* that do not belong to this fold. These also I must lead, and they will hear my voice, and there will be one flock, one shepherd.f
