Lecture Arabic	17 فإِنْ كَانَ بِزَلَّةِ إِنْسَانٍ وَاحِدٍ قَدْ مَلَكَ الـمَوْت، فَكَمْ بِالأَحْرَى الَّذينَ يَنَالُونَ فَيْضَ النِّعْمَةِ وَعَطِيَّةَ البِرّ، يَمْلِكُونَ في الـحَيَاةِ بِإِنْسَانٍ وَاحِد، هُوَ يَسُوعُ الـمَسِيح! 18 إِذًا، فَكَمَا أَنَّهُ بِزَلَّةِ إِنْسَانٍ وَاحِدٍ كَانَ الـهَلاكُ لِجَميعِ النَّاس، كذـلِكَ بِبِرِّ إِنْسَانٍ وَاحِدٍ كَانَ لِجَميعِ النَّاسِ تَبْرِيرُ الـحَيَاة. 19 فكَمَا أَنَّهُ بِعُصْيَانِ إِنْسَانٍ وَاحِدٍ جُعِلَ الكَثيرُونَ خَطَأَة، كَذـلِكَ بِطَاعَةِ إِنْسَانٍ وَاحِدٍ يُجْعَلُ الكَثيرُونَ أَبْرَارًا. 20 أَمَّا الشِّرِيعَةُ فقَدِ انْدَسَّتْ لِكَيْ تَكْثُرَ الزَّلَّة، وحَيْثُمَا كَثُرَتِ الـخَطيئَةُ فَاضَتِ النِّعْمَة؛ 21 حَتَّى إِنَّهُ كَمَا مَلَكَتِ الـخَطيئَةُ بِالـمَوْت، كَذـلِكَ تَمْلِكُ النِّعْمَةُ بِالبِرِّ لِلحَيَاةِ الأَبَدِيَّةِ بِيَسُوعَ الـمَسِيحِ رَبِّنَا.
Evangile Arabic	15 لَسْتُ أَدْعُوكُم بَعْدُ عَبِيدًا، لأَنَّ العَبْدَ لا يَعْلَمُ مَا يَعْمَلُ سَيِّدُهُ، بَلْ دَعَوْتُكُم أَحِبَّاءَ، لأَنِّي أَعْلَمْتُكُم بِكُلِّ مَا سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ أَبي. 16 لَمْ تَخْتَارُونِي أَنْتُم، بَلْ أَنَا اخْتَرْتُكُم، وأَقَمْتُكُم لِتَذْهَبُوا وتَحْمِلُوا ثَمَرًا، ويَدُومَ ثَمَرُكُم، فَيُعطيَكُمُ الآبُ كُلَّ مَا تَطْلُبُونَهُ بِاسْمِي. 17 بِهـذَا أُوصِيكُم، أَنْ تُحِبُّوا بَعْضُكُم بَعْضًا. 18 إِنْ يُبْغِضْكُمُ العَالَم، فَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّهُ أَبْغَضَنِي قَبْلَكُم. 19 لَوْ كُنْتُم مِنَ العَالَمِ لَكَانَ العَالَمُ يُحِبُّ مَا هُوَ لَهُ. ولـكِنْ، لأَنَّكُم لَسْتُم مِنَ العَالَم، بَلْ أَنَا اخْتَرْتُكُم مِنَ العَالَم، لِذـلِكَ يُبْغِضُكُمُ العَالَم. 20 تَذَكَّرُوا الكَلِمَةَ الَّتِي قُلْتُهَا لَكُم: لَيْسَ عَبْدٌ أَعْظَمَ مِنْ سَيِّدِهِ. فَإِنْ كَانُوا قَدِ اضْطَهَدُونِي فَسَوْفَ يَضْطَهِدُونَكُم أَيْضًا. وإِنْ كَانُوا قَدْ حَفِظُوا كَلِمَتِي فَسَوْفَ يَحْفَظُونَ كَلِمَتَكُم أَيْضًا. 21 غَيرَ أَنَّهُم سَيَفْعَلُونَ بِكُم هـذَا كُلَّهُ مِنْ أَجْلِ اسْمِي، لأَنَّهُم لا يَعْرِفُونَ الَّذي أَرْسَلَنِي.

Lecture French	17 Si, en effet, à cause d’un seul homme, par la faute d’un seul, la mort a établi son règne, combien plus, à cause de Jésus Christ et de lui seul, régneront-ils dans la vie, ceux qui reçoivent en abondance le don de la grâce qui les rend justes. 18 Bref, de même que la faute commise par un seul a conduit tous les hommes à la condamnation, de même l’accomplissement de la justice par un seul a conduit tous les hommes à la justification qui donne la vie. 19 En effet, de même que par la désobéissance d’un seul être humain la multitude a été rendue pécheresse, de même par l’obéissance d’un seul la multitude sera-t-elle rendue juste. 20 Quant à la loi de Moïse, elle est intervenue pour que se multiplie la faute ; mais là où le péché s’est multiplié, la grâce a surabondé. 21 Ainsi donc, de même que le péché a établi son règne de mort, de même la grâce doit établir son règne en rendant juste pour la vie éternelle par Jésus Christ notre Seigneur.
Evangile French	15 Je ne vous appelle plus serviteurs, car le serviteur ne sait pas ce que fait son maître ; je vous appelle mes amis, car tout ce que j’ai entendu de mon Père, je vous l’ai fait connaître. 16 Ce n’est pas vous qui m’avez choisi, c’est moi qui vous ai choisis et établis, afin que vous alliez, que vous portiez du fruit, et que votre fruit demeure. Alors, tout ce que vous demanderez au Père en mon nom, il vous le donnera. 17 Voici ce que je vous commande : c’est de vous aimer les uns les autres. 18 Si le monde a de la haine contre vous, sachez qu’il en a eu d’abord contre moi. 19 Si vous apparteniez au monde, le monde aimerait ce qui est à lui. Mais vous n’appartenez pas au monde, puisque je vous ai choisis en vous prenant dans le monde ; voilà pourquoi le monde a de la haine contre vous. 20 Rappelez-vous la parole que je vous ai dite : un serviteur n’est pas plus grand que son maître. Si l’on m’a persécuté, on vous persécutera, vous aussi. Si l’on a gardé ma parole, on gardera aussi la vôtre. 21 Les gens vous traiteront ainsi à cause de mon nom, parce qu’ils ne connaissent pas Celui qui m’a envoyé.

Lecture English	17 For if, by the transgression of one person, death came to reign through that one, how much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of justification come to reign in life through the one person Jesus Christ. 18 In conclusion, just as through one transgression condemnation came upon all, so through one righteous act acquittal and life came to all.k 19 For just as through the disobedience of one person the many were made sinners, so through the obedience of one the many will be made righteous.l 20 The law entered in* so that transgression might increase but, where sin increased, grace overflowed all the more,m 21 so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through justification for eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.n
Evangile English	15 I no longer call you slaves, because a slave does not know what his master is doing. I have called you friends,* because I have told you everything I have heard from my Father.k 16 It was not you who chose me, but I who chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit that will remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name he may give you.l 17 This I command you: love one another.m The World’s Hatred.* 18 “If the world hates you, realize that it hated me first.n 19 If you belonged to the world, the world would love its own; but because you do not belong to the world, and I have chosen you out of the world, the world hates you.o 20 Remember the word I spoke to you,* ‘No slave is greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours.p 21 And they will do all these things to you on account of my name,* because they do not know the one who sent me.q
