Lecture Arabic	1 وَبِمَا أَنَّ الشَّرِيعَةَ تَحْتَوِي ظِلَّ الـخَيْرَاتِ الآتِيَة، لا الـحَقِيقَةَ ذَاتَهَا، فهِيَ لا تَقْدِرُ البَتَّةَ أَنْ تُبَلِّغَ إِلى الكَمَالِ أُولـئِكَ الَّذِينَ يَتَقَرَّبُونَ مِنهَا، بِوَاسِطَةِ تِلْكَ الذَّبائِحِ نَفْسِهَا الَّتي تُقَدَّمُ كُلَّ سَنَةٍ على مَرِّ الدُّهُور. 2 وإِلاَّ، أَمَا كَانَ الَّذِينَ يُقَرِّبُونَ تِلْكَ الذَّبَائِحَ يَكُفُّونَ عَنْ تَقْدِيـمِهَا، لَو أَنَّهُم تَطَهَّرُوا بِهَا مِنْ مَرَّةٍ واحِدَة، ولَمْ يَبْقَ في ضَمِيرِهِم أَيُّ شُعُورٍ بِالـخَطِيئَة؟ 3 ولـكِنْ بِالعَكْس، فَإِنَّ في تِلْكَ الذَّبَائِحِ تَذْكِيرًا بِالـخَطَايَا سَنَةً بَعْدَ سَنَة! 4 لأَنَّهُ يَسْتَحِيلُ عَلى دَمِ الثِّيْرَانِ والـتُّيُوسِ أَنْ يُزِيلَ الـخَطَايَا. 5 لِذـلِكَ يَقُولُ عِنْدَ دُخُولِهِ إِلى العَالَم: "ذَبِيحَةً وقُرْبَانًا لَمْ تَشَأْ، لـكِنَّكَ أَعْدَدْتَ لِي جَسَدًا. 6 ولَمْ تَرْضَ بِالـمُحْرَقَاتِ عَنِ الـخَطِيئَة. 7 حِينَئِذٍ قُلْتُ: هَاءَنَذَا آتٍ لأَعْمَلَ بِمَشِيئَتِكَ يَا أَلله، كَمَا كُتِبَ عَنِّي في دَرْجِ الكِتَاب". 8 فَبِقَولِهِ أَوَّلاً: "ذَبائِحَ وقَرَابِينَ ومُحْرَقَاتٍ عنِ الـخَطايَا لَمْ تَشَأْ ولَمْ تَرْضَ بِهَا"، مَعَ أَنَّ تَقْدِيـمَهَا يَتِمُّ بِحَسَبِ الشَّرِيعَة، 9 ثُمَّ بِقَولِهِ بَعْدَ ذـلِكَ: "هاءَنَذَا آتٍ لأَعْمَلَ بِمَشِيئَتِكَ"، فهُوَ يُلغِي القَوْلَ الأَوَّلَ لِيُثْبِتَ الثَّانِي. 10 فَنَحْنُ بِمَشِيئَةِ اللهِ هـذِهِ مُقَدَّسُون، بِتَقْدِمَةِ جَسَدِ يَسُوعَ الـمَسِيحِ مَرَّةً واحِدَة.
Evangile Arabic	18 وكانَ تَلاميذُ يُوحَنَّا والفَرِّيسِيُّونَ صَائِمِين. فجَاؤُوا وقَالُوا لِيَسُوع: "لِمَاذَا تَلامِيذُ يُوحَنَّا وتَلامِيذُ الفَرِّيسيِّينَ يَصُومُون، وتَلامِيذُكَ لا يَصُومُون؟". 19 فقالَ لَهُم يَسُوع: "هَلْ يَسْتَطيعُ بَنُو العُرْسِ أَنْ يَصُومُوا وَالعَريسُ مَعَهُم؟ ما دَامَ العَرِيسُ مَعَهُم لا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ أَنْ يَصُومُوا. 20 ولـكِنْ ستَأْتِي أَيَّامٌ يَكُونُ فيهَا العَريسُ قَدْ رُفِعَ مِنْ بَيْنِهِم، فحِينَئِذٍ في ذـلِكَ اليَوْمِ يَصُومُون. 21 لا أَحَدَ يَضَعُ رُقْعَةً جَدِيدَةً في ثَوْبٍ بَالٍ، وإِلاَّ فَالـجَدِيدُ يَأْخُذُ مِلأَهُ مِنَ البَالي، فيَصِيرُ الـخِرْقُ أَسْوَأ. 22 ولا أَحَدَ يَضَعُ خَمْرَةً جَدِيدَةً في زِقَاقٍ عَتِيقَة، وإِلاَّ فَالْخَمْرَةُ تَشُقُّ الزِّقَاق، فَتُتْلَفُ الـخَمْرَةُ والزِّقَاقُ مَعًا. بَلْ تُوضَعُ الـخَمْرَةُ الـجَدِيدَةُ في زِقَاقٍ جَدِيدَة".

Lecture French	01 La loi de Moïse ne présente que l’ébauche des biens à venir, et non pas l’expression même des réalités. Elle n’est donc jamais capable, par ses sacrifices qui sont toujours les mêmes, offerts indéfiniment chaque année, de mener à la perfection ceux qui viennent y prendre part. 02 Si ce culte les avait purifiés une fois pour toutes, ils n’auraient plus aucun péché sur la conscience et, dans ce cas, n’aurait-on pas cessé d’offrir les sacrifices ? 03 Mais ceux-ci, au contraire, comportent chaque année un rappel des péchés. 04 Il est impossible, en effet, que du sang de taureaux et de boucs enlève les péchés. 05 Aussi, en entrant dans le monde, le Christ dit : Tu n’as voulu ni sacrifice ni offrande, mais tu m’as formé un corps. 06 Tu n’as pas agréé les holocaustes ni les sacrifices pour le péché ; 07 alors, j’ai dit : Me voici, je suis venu, mon Dieu, pour faire ta volonté, ainsi qu’il est écrit de moi dans le Livre. 08 Le Christ commence donc par dire : Tu n’as pas voulu ni agréé les sacrifices et les offrandes, les holocaustes et les sacrifices pour le péché, ceux que la Loi prescrit d’offrir. 09 Puis il déclare : Me voici, je suis venu pour faire ta volonté. Ainsi, il supprime le premier état de choses pour établir le second. 10 Et c’est grâce à cette volonté que nous sommes sanctifiés, par l’offrande que Jésus Christ a faite de son corps, une fois pour toutes.
Evangile French	18 Comme les disciples de Jean le Baptiste et les pharisiens jeûnaient, on vient demander à Jésus : « Pourquoi, alors que les disciples de Jean et les disciples des pharisiens jeûnent, tes disciples ne jeûnent-ils pas ? » 19 Jésus leur dit : « Les invités de la noce pourraient-ils jeûner, pendant que l’Époux est avec eux ? Tant qu’ils ont l’Époux avec eux, ils ne peuvent pas jeûner. 20 Mais des jours viendront où l’Époux leur sera enlevé ; alors, ce jour-là, ils jeûneront. 21 Personne ne raccommode un vieux vêtement avec une pièce d’étoffe neuve ; autrement le morceau neuf ajouté tire sur le vieux tissu et la déchirure s’agrandit. 22 Ou encore, personne ne met du vin nouveau dans de vieilles outres ; car alors, le vin fera éclater les outres, et l’on perd à la fois le vin et les outres. À vin nouveau, outres neuves. »

Lecture English	1 * Since the law has only a shadow of the good things to come,* and not the very image of them, it can never make perfect those who come to worship by the same sacrifices that they offer continually each year.a 2 Otherwise, would not the sacrifices have ceased to be offered, since the worshipers, once cleansed, would no longer have had any consciousness of sins? 3 But in those sacrifices there is only a yearly remembrance of sins,b 4 for it is impossible that the blood of bulls and goats take away sins.c 5 For this reason, when he came into the world, he said:* “Sacrifice and offering you did not desire,d but a body you prepared for me; 6 holocausts and sin offerings you took no delight in. 7 Then I said, ‘As is written of me in the scroll, Behold, I come to do your will, O God.’” 8 First he says, “Sacrifices and offerings, holocausts and sin offerings,* you neither desired nor delighted in.” These are offered according to the law.e 9 Then he says, “Behold, I come to do your will.” He takes away the first to establish the second.f 10 By this “will,” we have been consecrated through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.g
Evangile English	18 The disciples of John and of the Pharisees were accustomed to fast.e People came to him and objected, “Why do the disciples of John and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, but your disciples do not fast?” 19 Jesus answered them, “Can the wedding guests fast* while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them they cannot fast. 20 But the days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast on that day. 21 No one sews a piece of unshrunken cloth on an old cloak. If he does, its fullness pulls away, the new from the old, and the tear gets worse. 22 Likewise, no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the skins are ruined. Rather, new wine is poured into fresh wineskins.”
