Lecture Arabic	1 والآن، أَيُّهَا الإِخْوَةُ القِدِّيسُون، الْمُشْتَرِكُونَ في الدَّعْوَةِ السَّماوِيَّة، تَأَمَّلُوا رَسُولَ وعَظِيمَ أَحْبَارِ اعْتِرَافِنَا، يَسُوع، 2 وهُوَ مُؤتَمَنٌ لِمَنْ أَقَامَهُ، كَمَا كَانَ مُوسَى مُؤْتَمَنًا على بَيْتِ اللهِ كُلِّهِ. 3 فَإِنَّهُ قَدْ صَارَ أَهْلاً لِمَجْدٍ يَفُوقُ مَجْدَ مُوسى، بِمِقْدَارِ مَا لِبَانِي البَيْتِ مِنْ كَرَامَةٍ تَفُوقُ كَرَامَةَ البَيْت. 4 فَلِكُلِّ بَيْتٍ إِنْسَانٌ يَبْنِيه، وبَانِي الكُلِّ هُوَ الله. 5 وكانَ مُوسَى مُؤْتَمَنًا عَلى بَيْتِ اللهِ كُلِّهِ بِصِفَتِهِ خَادِمًا، لِيَشْهَدَ لِمَا سَوفَ يُقَال؛ 6 أَمَّا الـمَسِيحُ فَكَالابْنِ على بَيتِهِ، وبَيتُهُ هُوَ نَحْنُ، إِنْ تَمَسَّكْنَا بِثِقَةِ الرَّجَاءِ وفَخْرِهِ.
Evangile Arabic	21 لا أَحَدَ يَضَعُ رُقْعَةً جَدِيدَةً في ثَوْبٍ بَالٍ، وإِلاَّ فَالـجَدِيدُ يَأْخُذُ مِلأَهُ مِنَ البَالي، فيَصِيرُ الـخِرْقُ أَسْوَأ. 22 ولا أَحَدَ يَضَعُ خَمْرَةً جَدِيدَةً في زِقَاقٍ عَتِيقَة، وإِلاَّ فَالْخَمْرَةُ تَشُقُّ الزِّقَاق، فَتُتْلَفُ الـخَمْرَةُ والزِّقَاقُ مَعًا. بَلْ تُوضَعُ الـخَمْرَةُ الـجَدِيدَةُ في زِقَاقٍ جَدِيدَة". 23 وفيمَا كانَ يَسُوعُ مُجْتَازًا يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ بَيْنَ الزُّرُوع، بَدأَ تَلاميذُهُ يَشُقُّونَ طَريقَهُم وهُمْ يَقْلَعُونَ السَّنَابِل، 24 فقالَ لَهُ الفَرِّيسِيُّون: "أُنْظُرْ! لِمَاذَا يَفْعَلُ تَلامِيذُكَ ما لا يَحِلُّ في السَّبْت؟". 25 فقالَ لَهُم: "أَمَا قَرَأْتُمْ مَا فَعَلَهُ دَاوُد، حِينَ احْتَاجَ وجَاعَ هُوَ وَالَّذينَ مَعَهُ؟ 26 كَيْفَ دَخَلَ بَيْتَ اللهِ في أَيَّامِ أَبْيَاتَارَ عَظيِمِ الأَحْبَار، وأَكَلَ خُبْزَ التَّقْدِمَةِ الَّذي لا يَحِلُّ أَكْلُهُ إِلاَّ لِلْكَهَنَة، وأَعْطَى الَّذين كَانُوا مَعَهُ أَيْضًا؟". 27 ثُمَّ قالَ لَهُم: "جَعَلَ اللهُ السَّبْتَ لِلإِنْسَان، ومَا جَعَلَ الإِنْسَانَ لِلسَّبْت. 28 إِذًا فَابْنُ الإِنْسَانِ هُوَ رَبُّ السَّبْتِ أَيْضًا".

Lecture French	01 Ainsi donc, frères saints, vous qui avez en partage une vocation céleste, considérez Jésus, l’apôtre et le grand prêtre de notre confession de foi : 02 pour celui qui l’a institué, il est, comme Moïse, digne de foi dans toute sa maison. 03 Lui, il a même été jugé digne d’une plus grande gloire que Moïse, dans la mesure où le constructeur de la maison reçoit plus d’honneur que la maison elle-même. 04 Car toute maison est construite par quelqu’un, et celui qui a tout construit, le Christ, est Dieu. 05 Moïse, lui, a été digne de foi dans toute la maison de Dieu en qualité d’intendant, pour attester ce qui allait être dit. 06 Mais le Christ, lui, est digne de foi en qualité de Fils à la tête de sa maison ; et nous sommes sa maison, si du moins nous maintenons l’assurance et la fierté de l’espérance.
Evangile French	21 Personne ne raccommode un vieux vêtement avec une pièce d’étoffe neuve ; autrement le morceau neuf ajouté tire sur le vieux tissu et la déchirure s’agrandit. 22 Ou encore, personne ne met du vin nouveau dans de vieilles outres ; car alors, le vin fera éclater les outres, et l’on perd à la fois le vin et les outres. À vin nouveau, outres neuves. » 23 Un jour de sabbat, Jésus marchait à travers les champs de blé ; et ses disciples, chemin faisant, se mirent à arracher des épis. 24 Les pharisiens lui disaient : « Regarde ce qu’ils font le jour du sabbat ! Cela n’est pas permis. » 25 Et Jésus leur dit : « N’avez-vous jamais lu ce que fit David, lorsqu’il fut dans le besoin et qu’il eut faim, lui-même et ceux qui l’accompagnaient ? 26 Au temps du grand prêtre Abiatar, il entra dans la maison de Dieu et mangea les pains de l’offrande que nul n’a le droit de manger, sinon les prêtres, et il en donna aussi à ceux qui l’accompagnaient. » 27 Il leur disait encore : « Le sabbat a été fait pour l’homme, et non pas l’homme pour le sabbat. 28 Voilà pourquoi le Fils de l’homme est maître, même du sabbat. »

Lecture English	1 Therefore, holy “brothers,” sharing in a heavenly calling, reflect on Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession, 2 who was faithful to the one who appointed him, just as Moses was “faithful in [all] his house.”a 3 But he is worthy of more “glory” than Moses, as the founder of a house has more “honor” than the house itself.b 4 Every house is founded by someone, but the founder of all is God. 5 Moses was “faithful in all his house” as a “servant” to testify to what would be spoken, 6 * c but Christ was faithful as a son placed over his house. We are his house, if [only] we hold fast to our confidence and pride in our hope.
Evangile English	21 No one sews a piece of unshrunken cloth on an old cloak. If he does, its fullness pulls away, the new from the old, and the tear gets worse. 22 Likewise, no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the skins are ruined. Rather, new wine is poured into fresh wineskins.” The Disciples and the Sabbath.* 23 As he was passing through a field of grain on the sabbath, his disciples began to make a path while picking the heads of grain.f 24 At this the Pharisees said to him, “Look, why are they doing what is unlawful on the sabbath?”g 25 He said to them, “Have you never read what David did* when he was in need and he and his companions were hungry? 26 How he went into the house of God when Abiathar was high priest and ate the bread of offering that only the priests could lawfully eat, and shared it with his companions?”h 27 Then he said to them, “The sabbath was made for man,* not man for the sabbath.i 28 * That is why the Son of Man is lord even of the sabbath.”
