Lecture Arabic	8 ولـكِنَّكُم، حِينَ كُنْتُم لا تَعْرِفُونَ الله، عَبَدْتُمْ مَنْ لَيْسُوا بِطَبِيعَتِهِم آلِهَة. 9 أَمَّا الآن، وقَدْ عَرَفْتُمُ الله، بَلْ بالأَحْرَى عَرَفَكُمُ الله، فَكَيْفَ تَرْجِعُونَ إِلى الأَركَانِ الـهَزِيلَةِ والـحَقِيرَة، الَّتي تُرِيدُونَ مِنْ جَدِيدٍ أَنْ تَعْبُدُوهَا؟ 10 إِنَّكُم تُرَاقِبُونَ الأَيَّامَ والشُّهُورَ والفُصُولَ والسِّنِين! 11 أَخْشَى أَنْ أَكُونَ قَدْ تَعِبْتُ عَبَثًا مِنْ أَجلِكُم! 12 أَسْأَلُكُم، أَيُّهَا الإِخْوَة: كُونُوا مِثْلِي، لأَنِّي أَنَا مِثْلُكُم. إِنَّكُم مَا أَسَأْتُمْ إِلَيَّ في شَيء!
Evangile Arabic	40 أَجَل، هـذِهِ مَشِيئَةُ أَبِي، أَنَّ كُلَّ مَنْ يُشَاهِدُ الابْنَ ويُؤْمِنُ بِهِ، يَنَالُ حَيَاةً أَبَدِيَّة، وأَنَا أُقِيمُهُ في اليَومِ الأَخِير". 41 فَأَخَذَ اليَهُودُ يَتَذَمَّرُونَ عَلى يَسُوع، لأَنَّهُ قَال: "أَنَا هُوَ الْخُبْزُ الَّذي نَزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاء". 42 وكَانُوا يَقُولُون: "أَلَيْسَ هـذَا يَسُوعَ بْنَ يُوسُف، ونَحْنُ نَعْرِفُ أَبَاهُ وأُمَّهُ؟ فَكَيْفَ يَقُولُ الآن: إِنِّي نَزَلْتُ مِنَ السَّمَاء؟". 43 أَجَابَ يَسُوعُ وقَالَ لَهُم:"لا تَتَذَمَّرُوا في ما بَيْنَكُم. 44 لا أَحَدَ يَقْدِرُ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ إِليَّ، مَا لَمْ يَجْتَذِبْهُ الآبُ الَّذي أَرْسَلَنِي، وأَنَا أُقِيمُهُ في اليَومِ الأَخِير.

Lecture French	08 Jadis, quand vous ne connaissiez pas Dieu, vous étiez esclaves de ces dieux qui, en réalité, n’en sont pas. 09 Mais maintenant que vous avez connu Dieu – ou plutôt que vous avez été connus par lui – comment pouvez-vous de nouveau vous tourner vers ces forces inconsistantes et misérables, dont vous voulez de nouveau être esclaves comme autrefois ? 10 Vous vous pliez à des règles concernant les jours, les mois, les temps, les années ! 11 J’ai bien peur de m’être donné, en vain, de la peine pour vous. 12 Frères, je vous en prie, devenez comme moi, car moi je suis devenu comme vous. Assurément, vous ne m’avez fait aucun tort.
Evangile French	40 Telle est la volonté de mon Père : que celui qui voit le Fils et croit en lui ait la vie éternelle ; et moi, je le ressusciterai au dernier jour. » 41 Les Juifs récriminaient contre Jésus parce qu’il avait déclaré : « Moi, je suis le pain qui est descendu du ciel. » 42 Ils disaient : « Celui-là n’est-il pas Jésus, fils de Joseph ? Nous connaissons bien son père et sa mère. Alors comment peut-il dire maintenant : “Je suis descendu du ciel” ? » 43 Jésus reprit la parole : « Ne récriminez pas entre vous. 44 Personne ne peut venir à moi, si le Père qui m’a envoyé ne l’attire, et moi, je le ressusciterai au dernier jour.

Do we not know his father and mother? Then how can he say, ‘I have come down from heaven’?”v 43 Jesus answered and said to them, “Stop murmuring* among yourselves.w 44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draw him, and I will raise him on the last day.
