Lecture Arabic	6 ولـكِنَّ هـذَا لا يَعْني أَنَّ كَلِمَةَ اللهِ قَدْ سَقَطَت! فَلَيْسَ جَميعُ الَّذِينَ مِنْ إِسْرائيلَ هُم إِسْرائِيل! 7 ولا لأَنَّهُم نَسْلُ إِبْرَاهيمَ هُم جَميعًا أَولادُ إِبرَاهيم، بَل "بِإِسْحـقَ يُدْعَى لَكَ نَسْلٌ". 8 وذـلِكَ يَعْني أَنَّ أَوْلادَ الـجَسَدِ لَيْسُوا هُم أَوْلادَ الله، بَلْ إِنَّ أَوْلادَ الوَعْدِ هُم يُحْسَبُونَ نَسْلاً لإِبْرَاهيم؛ 9 لأَنَّ كَلِمَةَ الوَعْدِ هِيَ هـذِهِ: "سَأَرْجِعُ في مِثْلِ هـذَا الوَقْت، ويَكُونُ لِسَارةَ ابْنٌ!". 10 ومَا ذـلِكَ فَحَسْب، بَلْ إِنَّ رِفْقَةَ أَيْضًا قَدْ حَمَلَتْ مِنْ رَجُلٍ وَاحِد، أَيْ مِنْ أَبينَا إِسْحـق. 11 وقَبْلَ أَنْ يُولَدَ عِيسُو ويَعْقُوب، ويَفْعَلا خَيْرًا أَو شَرًّا، فَلِكَي يَظَلَّ قَصْدُ اللهِ في اخْتِيَارِهِ قَائِمًا 12 لا على الأَعْمَال، بَلْ عَلى اللهِ الَّذي يَدْعُو، قِيلَ لِرِفْقَة: "أَلأَكْبَرُ يَكُونُ عَبْدًا لِلأَصْغَر"، 13 كَمَا هوَ مَكْتُوب: "أَحْبَبْتُ يَعْقُوب، وأَبْغَضْتُ عيسُو".
Evangile Arabic	11 أَلـحَقَّ أَقُولُ لَكُم: لَمْ يَقُمْ في مَواليدِ النِّسَاءِ أَعْظَمُ مِنْ يُوحَنَّا الـمَعْمَدَان، ولـكِنَّ الأَصْغَرَ في مَلَكُوتِ السَّمَاوَاتِ أَعْظَمُ مِنْهُ. 12 ومِنْ أَيَّامِ يُوحَنَّا الـمَعْمَدَانِ إِلى الآن، مَلَكُوتُ السَّمَاواتِ يُغْصَب، والغَاصِبُونَ يَخْطَفُونَهُ. 13 فَالتَّوْرَاةُ والأَنْبِيَاءُ كُلُّهُم تَنَبَّأُوا إِلى أَنْ أَتَى يُوحَنَّا. 14 وإِنْ شِئْتُم أَنْ تُصَدِّقُوا، فهُوَ إِيلِيَّا الـمُزْمِعُ أَنْ يَأْتي. 15 مَنْ لَهُ أُذُنَانِ فَلْيَسْمَعْ!

Lecture French	06 Cela ne veut pas dire que la parole de Dieu a été mise en échec, car ceux qui sont nés d’Israël ne sont pas tous Israël. 07 Et tous ceux qui sont la descendance d’Abraham ne sont pas pour autant ses enfants, car il est écrit : C’est par Isaac qu’une descendance portera ton nom. 08 Autrement dit, ce ne sont pas les enfants de la chair qui sont enfants de Dieu, mais ce sont les enfants de la promesse qui sont comptés comme descendance. 09 Car telle est la parole de la promesse : À la même époque, je reviendrai, et Sara aura un fils. 10 Et ce n’est pas tout ; il y a aussi Rébecca : elle ne s’était unie qu’à un seul homme, Isaac notre père. 11 Ses enfants n’avaient pas encore été mis au monde, et n’avaient donc fait ni bien ni mal ; or, afin que demeure le projet de Dieu qui relève de son choix 12 et ne dépend pas des œuvres mais de celui qui appelle, il fut dit à cette femme : L’aîné servira le plus jeune, 13 comme il est écrit : J’ai aimé Jacob, je n’ai pas aimé Ésaü.
Evangile French	11 Amen, je vous le dis : Parmi ceux qui sont nés d’une femme, personne ne s’est levé de plus grand que Jean le Baptiste ; et cependant le plus petit dans le royaume des Cieux est plus grand que lui. 12 Depuis les jours de Jean le Baptiste jusqu’à présent, le royaume des Cieux subit la violence, et des violents cherchent à s’en emparer. 13 Tous les Prophètes, ainsi que la Loi, ont prophétisé jusqu’à Jean. 14 Et, si vous voulez bien comprendre, c’est lui, le prophète Élie qui doit venir. 15 Celui qui a des oreilles, qu’il entende !

Lecture English	6 But it is not that the word of God has failed. For not all who are of Israel are Israel,e 7 nor are they all children of Abraham because they are his descendants; but “It is through Isaac that descendants shall bear your name.”f 8 This means that it is not the children of the flesh who are the children of God, but the children of the promise are counted as descendants.g 9 For this is the wording of the promise, “About this time I shall return and Sarah will have a son.”h 10 And not only that,i but also when Rebecca had conceived children by one husband, our father Isaac*— 11 before they had yet been born or had done anything, good or bad, in order that God’s elective plan might continue, 12 not by works but by his call—she was told, “The older shall serve the younger.”j 13 As it is written:k “I loved Jacob but hated Esau.”*
Evangile English	11 Amen, I say to you, among those born of women there has been none greater than John the Baptist; yet the least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.* 12 From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven suffers violence,* and the violent are taking it by force.e 13 All the prophets and the law* prophesied up to the time of John. 14 And if you are willing to accept it, he is Elijah, the one who is to come.f 15 Whoever has ears ought to hear.
