Lecture Arabic	14 إِذًا فَكَيْفَ يَدْعُونَ مَنْ لَمْ يُؤْمِنُوا بِهِ؟ وكَيْفَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بَمَنْ لَمْ يَسْمَعُوا بِهِ؟ وكَيْفَ يَسْمَعُونَ بِهِ بِدُونِ مُبَشِّر؟ 15 وكَيْفَ يُبَشِّرُونَ إِنْ لَمْ يُرْسَلُوا؟ كَمَا هُوَ مَكْتُوب: "مَا أَجْمَلَ أَقْدَامَ الـمُبَشِّرِينَ بِالـخَيْر!". 16 ولـكِنْ لَمْ يُطِيعُوا كُلُّهُم بِشَارَةَ الإِنْجِيل، لأَنَّ آشَعْيَا يَقُول: "يَا رَبّ، مَنْ آمَنَ بِمَا سَمِعَ مِنَّا؟". 17 إِذًا فَالإِيْمَانُ هُوَ مِنَ السَّمَاع، والسَّمَاعُ هُوَ مِنَ التَّبْشِيرِ بِكَلِمَةِ الـمَسِيح. 18 لـكِنِّي أَقُول: أَلَعَلَّهُم لَمْ يَسْمَعُوا؟ بَلَى! "في الأَرْضِ كُلِّهَا ذَاعَ مَنْطِقُهُم، وفي أَقَاصي الـمَسْكُونَةِ كَلامُهُم". 19 وأَقُول: أَلَعَلَّ إِسْرَائِيلَ لَمْ يَعْلَم؟ يَقُولُ مُوسَى أَوَّلاً: "أَنَا أُثِيرُ غَيْرَتَكُم بِمَنْ لَيْسُوا شَعْبًا، وبِشَعْبٍ غَبِيٍّ أُثِيرُ غَضَبَكُم!". 20 أَمَّا آشَعْيَا فَيَجْرُؤُ ويَقُول: "وجَدَني الَّذِينَ لَمْ يَطْلُبُوني، واعْتَلَنْتُ لِلَّذِينَ لَمْ يَسْأَلُوا عَنِّي". 21 أَمَّا في شَأْنِ إِسْرَائِيلَ فَيَقُول: "بَسَطْتُ يَدَيَّ النَّهَارَ كُلَّهُ نَحْوَ شَعْبٍ عَاصٍ وَمُتَمَرِّد!".
Evangile Arabic	1 وكَانَ يَسُوعُ، بَعْدَ ذـلِك، يَتَجَوَّلُ في الـجَلِيل، ولا يَشَاءُ التَّجَوُّلَ في اليَهُودِيَّة، لأَنَّ اليَهُودَ كَانُوا يَطْلُبُونَ قَتْلَهُ. 2 وكَانَ عِيدُ اليَهُود، عِيدُ الـمَظَالِّ، قَريبًا. 3 فقَالَ لَهُ إِخْوَتُهُ: "إِنتَقِلْ مِنْ هُنَا، وَاذْهَبْ إِلى اليَهُودِيَّة، لِكَي يُشَاهِدَ تَلامِيذُكَ أَيْضًا الأَعْمَالَ الَّتِي تَصْنَعُهَا. 4 فَلا أَحَدَ يَعْمَلُ شَيْئًا في الـخَفَاء، وهُوَ يَبْتَغِي الظُّهُور. إِنْ كُنْتَ تَصْنَعُ هـذِهِ الأَعْمَال، فَأَظْهِرْ نَفْسَكَ لِلْعَالَم"، 5 لأَنَّ إِخْوتَهُ أَنْفُسَهُم مَا كَانُوا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ. 6 فَقَالَ لَهُم يَسُوع: "مَا حَانَ وَقْتِي بَعْد، أَمَّا وَقْتُكُم فَهُوَ حَاضِرٌ فِي كُلِّ حِين. 7 لا يَقْدِرُ العَالَمُ أَنْ يُبْغِضَكُم، لـكِنَّهُ يُبْغِضُنِي، لأَنِّي أَشْهَدُ عَلَيْهِ أَنَّ أَعْمَالَهُ شِرِّيرَة. 8 إِصْعَدُوا أَنْتُم إِلى العِيد، وأَنَا لا أَصْعَدُ إِلى هـذَا العِيد، لأَنَّ وَقتِي مَا تَمَّ بَعْد". 9 قَالَ لَهُم هـذَا، وبَقِيَ في الـجَلِيل. 10 وبَعْدَمَا صَعِدَ إِخْوَتُهُ إِلى العِيد، صَعِدَ هُوَ أَيْضًا، لا ظَاهِرًا بَلْ في الـخَفَاء.

Lecture French	14 Or, comment l’invoquer, si on n’a pas mis sa foi en lui ? Comment mettre sa foi en lui, si on ne l’a pas entendu ? Comment entendre si personne ne proclame ? 15 Comment proclamer sans être envoyé ? Il est écrit : Comme ils sont beaux, les pas des messagers qui annoncent les bonnes nouvelles! 16 Et pourtant, tous n’ont pas obéi à la Bonne Nouvelle. Isaïe demande en effet : Qui a cru, Seigneur, en nous entendant parler ? 17 Or la foi naît de ce que l’on entend ; et ce que l’on entend, c’est la parole du Christ. 18 Alors, je pose la question : n’aurait-on pas entendu ? Mais si, bien sûr ! Un psaume le dit : Sur toute la terre se répand leur message, et leurs paroles, jusqu’aux limites du monde. 19 Je pose encore la question : Israël n’aurait-il pas compris ? Moïse, le premier, dit : Je vais vous rendre jaloux par une nation qui n’en est pas une, par une nation stupide je vais vous exaspérer. 20 Et Isaïe a l’audace de dire : Je me suis laissé trouver par ceux qui ne me cherchaient pas, je me suis manifesté à ceux qui ne me demandaient rien. 21 Et à propos d’Israël, il dit : Tout le jour, j’ai tendu les mains vers un peuple qui refuse de croire et qui conteste.
Evangile French	01 Après cela, Jésus parcourait la Galilée : il ne voulait pas parcourir la Judée car les Juifs cherchaient à le tuer. 02 La fête juive des Tentes était proche. 03 Alors les frères de Jésus lui dirent : « Ne reste pas ici, va en Judée pour que tes disciples aussi voient les œuvres que tu fais. 04 On n’agit pas en secret quand on veut être un personnage public. Puisque tu fais de telles choses, il faut te manifester au monde. » 05 En effet, les frères de Jésus eux-mêmes ne croyaient pas en lui. 06 Jésus leur dit alors : « Pour moi, le moment n’est pas encore venu, mais pour vous, c’est toujours le bon moment. 07 Le monde ne peut pas vous haïr, mais il a de la haine contre moi parce que je témoigne que ses œuvres sont mauvaises. 08 Vous autres, montez à la fête ; moi, je ne monte pas à cette fête parce que mon temps n’est pas encore accompli. » 09 Cela dit, il demeura en Galilée. 10 Lorsque ses frères furent montés à Jérusalem pour la fête, il y monta lui aussi, non pas ostensiblement, mais en secret.

And how can they hear without someone to preach?m 15 And how can people preach unless they are sent? As it is written,n “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring [the] good news!”* 16 But not everyone has heeded the good news; for Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what was heard from us?”o 17 Thus faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ.p 18 But I ask, did they not hear? Certainly they did; for “Their voice has gone forth to all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world.”q 19 But I ask, did not Israel understand?r First Moses says: “I will make you jealous of those who are not a nation; with a senseless nation I will make you angry.” 20 s Then Isaiah speaks boldly and says: “I was found [by] those who were not seeking me; I revealed myself to those who were not asking for me.” 21 But regarding Israel he says, “All day long I stretched out my hands to a disobedient and contentious people.”
Evangile English	1 * After this, Jesus moved about within Galilee; but he did not wish to travel in Judea, because the Jews were trying to kill him.a 2 But the Jewish feast of Tabernacles was near.b 3 So his brothers* said to him, “Leave here and go to Judea, so that your disciples also may see the works you are doing. 4 No one works in secret if he wants to be known publicly. If you do these things, manifest yourself to the world.”c 5 For his brothers did not believe in him. 6 * So Jesus said to them, “My time is not yet here, but the time is always right for you. 7 The world cannot hate you, but it hates me, because I testify to it that its works are evil.d 8 You go up to the feast. I am not going up* to this feast, because my time has not yet been fulfilled.” 9 After he had said this, he stayed on in Galilee. 10 But when his brothers had gone up to the feast, he himself also went up, not openly but [as it were] in secret.
