Lecture Arabic	13 ولَكُمْ أَقُولُ، أَيُّهَا الأُمَم: مَا دُمْتُ أَنَا رَسُولاً لِلأُمَم، فإِنِّي أُمَجِّدُ خِدْمَتِي، 14 لَعَلِّي أُثِيرُ غَيْرَةَ بَنِي قَوْمي، فأُخَلِّصُ بَعْضًا مِنْهُم. 15 فإِنْ كَانَ إِبْعَادُهُم مُصَالَحَةً لِلعَالَم، فمَاذَا يَكُونُ قَبُولُهُم إِلاَّ حَيَاةً مِنْ بَيْنِ الأَمْوَات؟ 16 وإِنْ كَانَتِ البَاكُورَةُ مُقَدَّسَة، فَالعَجْنَةُ أَيْضًا مُقَدَّسَة. وإِنْ كَانَ الأَصْلُ مُقَدَّسًا، فَالأَغْصَانُ أَيْضًا مُقَدَّسَة. 17 وإِنْ كَانَتْ بَعْضُ الأَغْصَانِ قَدْ قُطِعَتْ، وكُنْتَ أَنْتَ الزَّيْتُونَ البَرِّيَّ قَدْ طُعِّمْتَ في مَوَاضِعِهَا، فَصِرْتَ شَريكًا في أَصْلِ الزَّيْتُونِ وَدَسَمِهِ، 18 فلا تَفْتَخِرْ عَلى الأَغْصَان. وَإِنِ افْتَخَرْتَ فَلَسْتَ أَنْتَ تَحْمِلُ الأَصْلَ بَلِ الأَصْلُ يَحْمِلُكَ. 19 ولَعَلَّكَ تَقُول: إِنَّ تِلْكَ الأَغْصَانَ قَدْ قُطِعَتْ لأُطَعَّمَ أَنَا! 20 حَسَنًا تَقُول! هيَ قُطِعَتْ لِعَدَمِ إِيْمَانِهَا، وأَنْتَ بَاقٍ لإِيْمَانِكَ، فَلا تتَكَبَّرْ بَلْ خَفْ! 21 فإِنْ كَانَ اللهُ لَمْ يُبْقِ عَلى الأَغْصَانِ الأَصْلِيَّة، فَلَنْ يُبْقِيَ عَلَيْكَ أَيْضًا. 22 فَانْظُرْ إِلى لُطْفِ اللهِ وَقَسَاوَتِهِ: أَمَّا القَسَاوَةُ فَعَلَى الَّذينَ سَقَطُوا، وأَمَّا لُطْفُ اللهِ فَعَلَيْكَ أَنْتَ، إِنْ ثَبُتَّ في اللُّطْف، وإِلاَّ فَتُقْطَعُ أَنْتَ أَيْضًا. 23 وهُم أَيْضًا، إِذا لَمْ يَسْتَمِرُّوا في عَدَمِ الإِيْمَان، سَوْفَ يُطَعَّمُون، لأَنَّ اللهَ قَادِرٌ أَنْ يَعُودَ فيُطَعِّمَهُم. 24 فإِنْ كُنْتَ قَدْ قُطِعْتَ مِنَ الزَّيْتُونَةِ البَرِّيَّةِ الَّتي أَنْتَ مِنْهَا بِحَسَبِ الطَّبِيعَة، وطُعِّمْتَ عَلى خِلافِ الطَّبيعَةِ في زَيْتُونَةٍ جَيِّدَة، فَكَم بِالأَحْرَى هـؤُلاءِ الَّذينَ هُمْ أَغْصَانٌ أَصْلِيَّة، يُطَعَّمُونَ في زَيْتُونَتِهِمِ الـخَاصَّة؟
Evangile Arabic	25 وكَانَ أُنَاسٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ أُورَشَليمَ يَقُولُون : "أَلَيْسَ هـذَا مَنْ يَطْلُبُونَ قَتْلَهُ؟ 26 فَهَا هُوَ يَتَكَلَّمُ عَلَنًا، ولا يَقُولُونَ لَهُ شَيْئًا. تُرَى، هَلْ تَأَكَّدَ الرُّؤَسَاءُ أَنَّ هـذَا هُوَ الـمَسِيح؟ 27 غَيْرَ أَنَّ هـذَا، نَعْرِفُ مِنْ أَيْنَ هُوَ. أَمَّا الـمَسِيح، عِنْدَمَا يَأْتِي، فَلا أَحَدَ يَعْرِفُ مِنْ أَيْنَ هُوَ". 28 فَهَتَفَ يَسُوع، وهُوَ يُعَلِّمُ في الـهَيْكَل، وقَال: "تَعْرِفُونِي إِذًا، وتَعْرِفُونَ مِنْ أَيْنَ أَنَا! ومَا أَتَيْتُ مِنْ تِلْقَاءِ نَفْسِي، ولـكِنَّ مَنْ أَرْسَلَنِي هُوَ حَقٌّ، وأَنْتُم لا تَعْرِفُونَهُ. 29 أَنَا أَعْرِفُهُ، لأَنِّي مِنْ عِنْدِهِ أَتَيْت، وهُوَ أَرْسَلَنِي". 30 فَكَانُوا يَطْلُبُونَ القَبْضَ عَلَيْه، ولـكِنَّ أَحَدًا لَمْ يُلْقِ عَلَيْهِ يَدًا، لأَنَّ سَاعَتَهُ مَا كَانَتْ بَعْدُ قَدْ حَانَتْ.

Lecture French	13 Je vous le dis à vous, qui venez des nations païennes : dans la mesure où je suis moi-même apôtre des nations, j’honore mon ministère, 14 mais dans l’espoir de rendre jaloux mes frères selon la chair, et d’en sauver quelques-uns. 15 Si en effet le monde a été réconcilié avec Dieu quand ils ont été mis à l’écart, qu’arrivera-t-il quand ils seront réintégrés ? Ce sera la vie pour ceux qui étaient morts ! 16 Si la partie de la pâte prélevée pour Dieu est sainte, toute la pâte l’est aussi ; si la racine de l’arbre est sainte, les branches le sont aussi. 17 De ces branches, quelques-unes ont été coupées, alors que toi, olivier sauvage, tu as été greffé parmi les branches, et tu as part désormais à la sève que donne la racine de l’olivier. 18 Alors, ne sois pas plein d’orgueil envers les branches ; malgré tout ton orgueil, ce n’est pas toi qui portes la racine, c’est la racine qui te porte. 19 Tu vas me dire : « Des branches ont été coupées pour que moi, je sois greffé ! » 20 Fort bien ! Mais c’est à cause de leur manque de foi qu’elles ont été coupées ; tandis que toi, c’est par la foi que tu tiens bon. Ne fais pas le fanfaron, sois plutôt dans la crainte. 21 Car si Dieu n’a pas épargné les branches d’origine, il ne t’épargnera pas non plus. 22 Observe donc la bonté et la rigueur de Dieu : rigueur pour ceux qui sont tombés, et bonté de Dieu pour toi, si tu demeures dans cette bonté ; autrement, toi aussi tu seras retranché. 23 Quant à eux, s’ils ne demeurent pas dans leur manque de foi, ils seront greffés car Dieu est capable de leur redonner leur place en les greffant. 24 En effet, toi qui étais par ton origine une branche d’olivier sauvage, tu as été greffé, malgré ton origine, sur un olivier cultivé ; à plus forte raison ceux-ci, qui sont d’origine, seront greffés sur leur propre olivier.
Evangile French	25 Quelques habitants de Jérusalem disaient alors : « N’est-ce pas celui qu’on cherche à tuer ? 26 Le voilà qui parle ouvertement, et personne ne lui dit rien ! Nos chefs auraient-ils vraiment reconnu que c’est lui le Christ ? 27 Mais lui, nous savons d’où il est. Or, le Christ, quand il viendra, personne ne saura d’où il est. » 28 Jésus, qui enseignait dans le Temple, s’écria : « Vous me connaissez ? Et vous savez d’où je suis ? Je ne suis pas venu de moi-même : mais il est véridique, Celui qui m’a envoyé, lui que vous ne connaissez pas. 29 Moi, je le connais parce que je viens d’auprès de lui, et c’est lui qui m’a envoyé. » 30 On cherchait à l’arrêter, mais personne ne mit la main sur lui parce que son heure n’était pas encore venue.

Inasmuch then as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I glory in my ministryk 14 in order to make my race jealous and thus save some of them. 15 For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? 16 * If the firstfruits are holy, so is the whole batch of dough; and if the root is holy, so are the branches.l 17 But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, a wild olive shoot, were grafted in their place and have come to share in the rich root of the olive tree,m 18 do not boast against the branches. If you do boast, consider that you do not support the root; the root supports you.n 19 Indeed you will say, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” 20 That is so. They were broken off because of unbelief, but you are there because of faith. So do not become haughty, but stand in awe.o 21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, [perhaps] he will not spare you either.p 22 See, then, the kindness and severity of God: severity toward those who fell, but God’s kindness to you, provided you remain in his kindness; otherwise you too will be cut off.q 23 And they also, if they do not remain in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.r 24 For if you were cut from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and grafted, contrary to nature, into a cultivated one, how much more will they who belong to it by nature be grafted back into their own olive tree.
Evangile English	25 So some of the inhabitants of Jerusalem said, “Is he not the one they are trying to kill? 26 And look, he is speaking openly and they say nothing to him. Could the authorities* have realized that he is the Messiah? 27 But we know where he is from. When the Messiah comes, no one will know where he is from.”n 28 So Jesus cried out in the temple area as he was teaching and said, “You know me and also know where I am from. Yet I did not come on my own, but the one who sent me, whom you do not know, is true.o 29 I know him, because I am from him, and he sent me.”p 30 So they tried to arrest him, but no one laid a hand upon him, because his hour had not yet come.q
