Lecture Arabic	11 بِالإِيْمَانِ نَالَتْ سَارَةُ العَاقِرُ هيَ أَيْضًا قُوَّةً على الإِنْجَاب، بَعْدَ أَنْ جَاوَزَتِ السِّنّ، لأَنَّهَا اعْتَقَدَتْ أَنَّ الَّذي وَعَدَ أَمِين. 12 لِذـلِكَ وَلَدَتْ مِن رَجُلٍ وَاحِد، وقَدْ مَاتَ جَسَدُهُ، نَسْلاً كَنُجُومِ السَّماءِ كَثْرَة، وكَالرَّمْلِ على شَاطِئِ البَحْرِ لا يُحْصَى. 13 بِالإِيْمَانِ مَاتَ جَمِيعُ هـؤُلاء، ولَمْ يَنَالُوا الوُعُود، بَلْ رَأَوْهَا وحَيَّوْهَا عَن بُعْد، واعْتَرَفُوا بِأَنَّهُم على الأَرْضِ "غُرَبَاءُ ونُزَلاء". 14 فَبِقَولِهِم ذـلِكَ يُظْهِرُونَ أَنَّهُم يَطْلُبُونَ وَطَنًا. 15 ولَو كَانُوا يُفَكِّرُونَ في ذـلِكَ الوَطَنِ الَّذي خَرَجُوا مِنهُ، لَكَانَ لَهُم فُرْصَةٌ لِلعَودَةِ إِلَيْه. 16 ولـكِنَّهُم يَتَطَلَّعُونَ إِلى وَطَنٍ أَفْضَلَ أَي إِلى الوَطَنِ السَّمَاويّ. لِذـلِكَ لا يَسْتَحْيِي اللهُ بِهِم أَنْ يُدْعَى إِلـهَهُم، فأَعَدَّ لَهُم مَدِينَة.
Evangile Arabic	21 وعَادَ يَسُوعُ يَقُولُ لَهُم: "أَنَا أَمْضِي، وتَطْلُبُونِي وتَمُوتُونَ في خَطِيئَتِكُم. حَيْثُ أَنَا أَمْضِي لا تَقْدِرُونَ أَنْتُم أَنْ تَأْتُوا". 22 فَأَخَذَ اليَهُودُ يَقُولُون: "أَتُراهُ يَقْتُلُ نَفْسَهُ؟ فَإِنَّهُ يَقُول: حَيْثُ أَنَا أَمْضِي لا تَقْدِرُونَ أَنْتُم أَنْ تَأْتُوا!". 23 ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُم: "أَنْتُم مِنْ أَسْفَل، وأَنَا مِنْ فَوْق. أَنْتُم مِنْ هـذَا العَالَم، وأَنَا لَسْتُ مِنْ هـذَا العَالَم. 24 لِذـلِكَ قُلْتُ لَكُم: سَتَمُوتُونَ في خَطَايَاكُم. أَجَل، إِنْ لَمْ تُؤْمِنُوا أَنِّي أَنَا هُوَ تَمُوتُوا فِي خَطَايَاكُم".

Lecture French	11 Grâce à la foi, Sara, elle aussi, malgré son âge, fut rendue capable d’être à l’origine d’une descendance parce qu’elle pensait que Dieu est fidèle à ses promesses. 12 C’est pourquoi, d’un seul homme, déjà marqué par la mort, a pu naître une descendance aussi nombreuse que les étoiles du ciel et que le sable au bord de la mer, une multitude innombrable. 13 C’est dans la foi, sans avoir connu la réalisation des promesses, qu’ils sont tous morts ; mais ils l’avaient vue et saluée de loin, affirmant que, sur la terre, ils étaient des étrangers et des voyageurs. 14 Or, parler ainsi, c’est montrer clairement qu’on est à la recherche d’une patrie. 15 S’ils avaient songé à celle qu’ils avaient quittée, ils auraient eu la possibilité d’y revenir. 16 En fait, ils aspiraient à une patrie meilleure, celle des cieux. Aussi Dieu n’a pas honte d’être appelé leur Dieu, puisqu’il leur a préparé une ville.
Evangile French	21 Jésus leur dit encore : « Je m’en vais ; vous me chercherez, et vous mourrez dans votre péché. Là où moi je vais, vous ne pouvez pas aller. » 22 Les Juifs disaient : « Veut-il donc se donner la mort, puisqu’il dit : “Là où moi je vais, vous ne pouvez pas aller” ? » 23 Il leur répondit : « Vous, vous êtes d’en bas ; moi, je suis d’en haut. Vous, vous êtes de ce monde ; moi, je ne suis pas de ce monde. 24 C’est pourquoi je vous ai dit que vous mourrez dans vos péchés. En effet, si vous ne croyez pas que moi, JE SUIS, vous mourrez dans vos péchés. »

Lecture English	11 By faith he received power to generate, even though he was past the normal age—and Sarah herself was sterile—for he thought that the one who had made the promise was trustworthy.j 12 So it was that there came forth from one man, himself as good as dead, descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as countless as the sands on the seashore.k 13 All these died in faith. They did not receive what had been promised but saw it and greeted it from afar and acknowledged themselves to be strangers and aliens on earth,l 14 for those who speak thus show that they are seeking a homeland. 15 If they had been thinking of the land from which they had come, they would have had opportunity to return. 16 But now they desire a better homeland, a heavenly one. Therefore, God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.m
Evangile English	21 He said to them again, “I am going away and you will look for me, but you will die in your sin.* Where I am going you cannot come.”n 22 * So the Jews said, “He is not going to kill himself, is he, because he said, ‘Where I am going you cannot come’?” 23 He said to them, “You belong to what is below, I belong to what is above. You belong to this world, but I do not belong to this world.o 24 That is why I told you that you will die in your sins. For if you do not believe that I AM,* you will die in your sins.”p
