Lecture Arabic	1 إِنَّ اللهَ كَلَّمَ الآبَاءَ قَدِيْمًا في الأَنْبِيَاء، مَرَّاتٍ كَثِيرَة، وبأَنْواعٍ شَتَّى، 2 وفي آخِرِ هـذِهِ الأَيَّام، كَلَّمَنَا في الابْن، الَّذي جَعَلَهُ وَارِثًا لِكُلِّ شَيء. وبِهِ أَنْشَأَ العَالَمِين. 3 وهُوَ شُعَاعُ مَجْدِهِ وصُورَةُ جَوهَرِهِ، وضَابِطُ الكُلِّ بَكَلِمَةِ قُدْرَتِهِ. فَبَعْدَمَا أَتَمَّ تَطْهِيرَ الـخَطايَا، جَلَسَ عَنْ يَمِينِ الـجَلالَةِ في الأَعَالِي، 4 فَصَارَ أَعْظَمَ مِنَ الـمَلائِكَة، بِمِقْدَارِ ما الاسْمُ الَّذي وَرِثَهُ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَسْمَائِهِم. 5 فَلِمَنْ مِنَ الـمَلائِكَةِ قَالَ اللهُ يَومًا: "أَنْتَ ابْنِي، أَنَا اليَومَ وَلَدْتُكَ"؟ وقَالَ أَيْضًا: "أَنَا أَكُونُ لَهُ أَبًا، وهُوَ يَكُونُ ليَ ابْنًا"؟ 6 أَمَّا عِنْدَمَا يُدْخِلُ ابْنَهُ البِكْرَ إِلى العَالَمِ فَيَقُول: "فَلْتَسْجُدْ لَهُ جَمِيعُ مَلائِكَةِ الله!". 7 وعَنِ الـمَلائِكَةِ يَقُول: "أَلصَّانِعُ مَلائِكَتَهُ أَرْوَاحًا، وخُدَّامَهُ لَهِيبَ نَار". 8 أَمَّا عَنِ الابْنِ فَيَقُول: "عَرْشُكَ يَا أَلله، لِدَهْرِ الدَّهْر، وصَولَجَانُ الاسْتِقَامَةِ صَولَجَانُ مُلْكِكَ. 9 أَحْبَبْتَ البِرَّ وأَبْغَضْتَ الإِثْم. لِذلِكَ مَسَحَكَ إِلـهُكَ، يا أَلله، بِدُهْنِ البَهْجَةِ أَفْضَلَ مِنْ شُرَكَائِكَ". 10 ويَقُولُ أَيْضًا: "أَنتَ، يَا رَبّ، في البَدْءِ أَسَّسْتَ الأَرْض، والسَّمَاوَاتُ صُنْعُ يَدَيْك. 11 هِيَ تَزُولُ وأَنْتَ تَبْقَى، وكُلُّهَا كَالثَّوبِ تَبْلَى، 12 وتَطْوِيهَا كَالرِّدَاء، وكالثَّوبِ تَتَبَدَّل، وأَنْتَ أَنْتَ وسُنُوكَ لَنْ تَفْنَى".
Evangile Arabic	1 وفي تِلْكَ الأَيَّام، صَدَرَ أَمْرٌ مِنْ أَغُوسْطُسَ قَيْصَرَ بِإِحْصَاءِ كُلِّ الـمَعْمُورَة. 2 جَرَى هـذا الإِحْصَاءُ الأَوَّل، عِنْدَمَا كانَ كِيرينيُوسُ والِيًا على سُورِيَّا. 3 وكانَ الـجَمِيعُ يَذهَبُون، كُلُّ واحِدٍ إِلى مَدِينَتِهِ، لِيَكْتَتِبوا فِيهَا. 4 وَصَعِدَ يُوسُفُ أَيضًا مِنَ الـجَلِيل، مِنْ مَدينَةِ النَّاصِرَة، إِلى اليَهُودِيَّة، إِلى مَدينَةِ دَاوُدَ الَّتي تُدْعَى بَيْتَ لَحْم، لأَنَّهُ كَانَ مِن بَيْتِ دَاوُدَ وعَشِيرَتِهِ، 5 لِيَكْتَتِبَ مَعَ مَرْيَمَ خِطِّيبَتِهِ، وهِيَ حَامِل. 6 وفِيمَا كانَا هُنَاك، تَمَّتْ أَيَّامُهَا لِتَلِد، 7 فوَلَدَتِ ابنَهَا البِكْر، وَقَمَّطَتْهُ، وأَضْجَعَتْهُ في مِذْوَد، لأَنَّهُ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُمَا مَوْضِعٌ في قَاعَةِ الضُّيُوف. 8 وكانَ في تِلْكَ النَّاحِيَةِ رُعَاةٌ يُقِيمُونَ في الـحُقُول، ويَسْهَرُونَ في هَجَعَاتِ اللَّيْلِ على قُطْعَانِهِم. 9 فإِذَا بِمَلاكِ الرَّبِّ قَدْ وقَفَ بِهِم، ومَجْدُ الرَّبِّ أَشْرَقَ حَولَهُم، فَخَافُوا خَوفًا عَظِيمًا. 10 فقالَ لَـهمُ الـمَلاك: "لا تَخَافُوا! فَهَا أَنَا أُبشِّرُكُمْ بِفَرَحٍ عَظِيمٍ يَكُونُ لِلشَّعْبِ كُلِّهِ، 11 لأَنَّهُ وُلِدَ لَكُمُ اليَوْمَ مُخَلِّص، هُوَ الـمَسِيحُ الرَّبّ، في مَدِينَةِ دَاوُد. 12 وهـذِهِ عَلامَةٌ لَكُم: تَجِدُونَ طِفْلاً مُقَمَّطًا، مُضْجَعًا في مِذْوَد!". 13 وانْضَمَّ فَجْأَةً إِلى الـمَلاكِ جُمْهُورٌ مِنَ الـجُنْدِ السَّمَاوِيِّ يُسَبِّحُونَ اللهَ ويَقُولُون: 14 "أَلـمَجْدُ للهِ في العُلَى، وعَلى الأَرْضِ السَّلام، والرَّجَاءُ الصَّالِحُ لِبَني البَشَر". 15 ولَمَّا انْصَرَفَ الـمَلائِكةُ عَنْهُم إِلى السَّمَاء، قالَ الرُّعَاةُ بَعْضُهُم لِبَعْض: "هيَّا بِنَا، إِلى بَيْتَ لَحْم، لِنَرَى هـذَا الأَمْرَ الَّذي حَدَث، وقَد أَعْلَمَنا بِهِ الرَّبّ". 16 وجَاؤُوا مُسْرِعِين، فوَجَدُوا مَرْيمَ ويُوسُف، والطِّفْلَ مُضْجَعًا في الـمِذْوَد. 17 ولَمَّا رَأَوْهُ أَخبَرُوا بِالكَلامِ الَّذي قِيلَ لَهُم في شَأْنِ هـذَا الصَّبِيّ. 18 وجَمِيعُ الَّذِينَ سَمِعُوا، تعَجَّبُوا مِمَّا قَالَهُ لَهُمُ الرُّعَاة. 19 أَمَّا مَرْيَمُ فَكَانَتْ تَحْفَظُ هـذِهِ الأُمُورَ كُلَّهَا، وتتَأَمَّلُهَا في قَلْبِهَا. 20 ثُمَّ عَادَ الرُّعَاةُ وهُمْ يُمَجِّدُونَ اللهَ ويُسَبِّحُونَهُ على كُلِّ ما سَمِعُوا ورأَوا، حَسَبَما قِيْلَ لَهُم.

Lecture French	01 À BIEN DES REPRISES et de bien des manières, Dieu, dans le passé, a parlé à nos pères par les prophètes ; 02 mais à la fin, en ces jours où nous sommes, il nous a parlé par son Fils qu’il a établi héritier de toutes choses et par qui il a créé les mondes. 03 Rayonnement de la gloire de Dieu, expression parfaite de son être, le Fils, qui porte l’univers par sa parole puissante, après avoir accompli la purification des péchés, s’est assis à la droite de la Majesté divine dans les hauteurs des cieux ; 04 et il est devenu bien supérieur aux anges, dans la mesure même où il a reçu en héritage un nom si différent du leur. 05 En effet, Dieu déclara-t-il jamais à un ange : Tu es mon Fils, moi, aujourd’hui, je t’ai engendré ? Ou bien encore : Moi, je serai pour lui un père, et lui sera pour moi un fils ? 06 À l’inverse, au moment d’introduire le Premier-né dans le monde à venir, il dit : Que se prosternent devant lui tous les anges de Dieu. 07 À l’adresse des anges, il dit : Il fait de ses anges des esprits, et de ses serviteurs des flammes ardentes. 08 Mais à l’adresse du Fils, il dit : Ton trône à toi, Dieu, est pour les siècles des siècles, le sceptre de la droiture est ton sceptre royal ; 09 tu as aimé la justice, tu as réprouvé le mal, c’est pourquoi, toi, Dieu, ton Dieu t’a consacré d’une onction de joie, de préférence à tes compagnons ; 10 et encore : C’est toi, Seigneur, qui, au commencement, as fondé la terre, et le ciel est l’ouvrage de tes mains. 11 Ils passeront, mais toi, tu demeures ; ils s’useront comme un habit, l’un et l’autre ; 12 comme un manteau, tu les enrouleras, comme un habit, ils seront remplacés ; mais toi, tu es le même, tes années n’auront pas de fin.
Evangile French	01 En ces jours-là, parut un édit de l’empereur Auguste, ordonnant de recenser toute la terre – 02 ce premier recensement eut lieu lorsque Quirinius était gouverneur de Syrie. – 03 Et tous allaient se faire recenser, chacun dans sa ville d’origine. 04 Joseph, lui aussi, monta de Galilée, depuis la ville de Nazareth, vers la Judée, jusqu’à la ville de David appelée Bethléem. Il était en effet de la maison et de la lignée de David. 05 Il venait se faire recenser avec Marie, qui lui avait été accordée en mariage et qui était enceinte. 06 Or, pendant qu’ils étaient là, le temps où elle devait enfanter fut accompli. 07 Et elle mit au monde son fils premier-né ; elle l’emmaillota et le coucha dans une mangeoire, car il n’y avait pas de place pour eux dans la salle commune. 08 Dans la même région, il y avait des bergers qui vivaient dehors et passaient la nuit dans les champs pour garder leurs troupeaux. 09 L’ange du Seigneur se présenta devant eux, et la gloire du Seigneur les enveloppa de sa lumière. Ils furent saisis d’une grande crainte. 10 Alors l’ange leur dit : « Ne craignez pas, car voici que je vous annonce une bonne nouvelle, qui sera une grande joie pour tout le peuple : 11 Aujourd’hui, dans la ville de David, vous est né un Sauveur qui est le Christ, le Seigneur. 12 Et voici le signe qui vous est donné : vous trouverez un nouveau-né emmailloté et couché dans une mangeoire. » 13 Et soudain, il y eut avec l’ange une troupe céleste innombrable, qui louait Dieu en disant : 14 « Gloire à Dieu au plus haut des cieux, et paix sur la terre aux hommes, qu’Il aime. » 15 Lorsque les anges eurent quitté les bergers pour le ciel, ceux-ci se disaient entre eux : « Allons jusqu’à Bethléem pour voir ce qui est arrivé, l’événement que le Seigneur nous a fait connaître. » 16 Ils se hâtèrent d’y aller, et ils découvrirent Marie et Joseph, avec le nouveau-né couché dans la mangeoire. 17 Après avoir vu, ils racontèrent ce qui leur avait été annoncé au sujet de cet enfant. 18 Et tous ceux qui entendirent s’étonnaient de ce que leur racontaient les bergers. 19 Marie, cependant, retenait tous ces événements et les méditait dans son cœur. 20 Les bergers repartirent ; ils glorifiaient et louaient Dieu pour tout ce qu’ils avaient entendu et vu, selon ce qui leur avait été annoncé.

Lecture English	1 In times past, God spoke in partial and various ways to our ancestors through the prophets; 2 in these last days, he spoke to us through a son, whom he made heir of all things and through whom he created the universe,a 3 who is the refulgence of his glory, the very imprint of his being, and who sustains all things by his mighty word. When he had accomplished purification from sins, he took his seat at the right hand of the Majesty on high,b 4 as far superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs.c Messianic Enthronement.* 5 For to which of the angels did God ever say: “You are my son; this day I have begotten you”?d Or again: “I will be a father to him, and he shall be a son to me”? 6 And again, when he leads* the first-born into the world, he says: “Let all the angels of God worship him.”e 7 Of the angels he says: “He makes his angels winds and his ministers a fiery flame”;f 8 but of the Son: “Your throne, O God,* stands forever and ever; and a righteous scepter is the scepter of your kingdom.g 9 You loved justice and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, anointed you with the oil of gladness above your companions”; 10 and: “At the beginning, O Lord, you established the earth,h and the heavens are the works of your hands. 11 They will perish, but you remain; and they will all grow old like a garment. 12 You will roll them up like a cloak, and like a garment they will be changed. But you are the same, and your years will have no end.”
Evangile English	1 * In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus* that the whole world should be enrolled. 2 This was the first enrollment, when Quirinius was governor of Syria. 3 So all went to be enrolled, each to his own town. 4 And Joseph too went up from Galilee from the town of Nazareth to Judea, to the city of David that is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David,a 5 to be enrolled with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child.b 6 While they were there, the time came for her to have her child, 7 and she gave birth to her firstborn son.* She wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.c 8 * Now there were shepherds in that region living in the fields and keeping the night watch over their flock. 9 The angel of the Lord appeared to them and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were struck with great fear.d 10 The angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. 11 * e For today in the city of David a savior has been born for you who is Messiah and Lord. 12 And this will be a sign for you: you will find an infant wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger.” 13 And suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel, praising God and saying: 14 * “Glory to God in the highestf and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.” The Visit of the Shepherds. 15 When the angels went away from them to heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let us go, then, to Bethlehem to see this thing that has taken place, which the Lord has made known to us.” 16 So they went in haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the infant lying in the manger. 17 When they saw this, they made known the message that had been told them about this child. 18 All who heard it were amazed by what had been told them by the shepherds. 19 And Mary kept all these things, reflecting on them in her heart. 20 Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, just as it had been told to them.
