Lecture Arabic	2 فقَالَ إِسْطِفَانُس: "أَيُّهَا الرِّجَالُ الإِخْوَةُ والآبَاء، اسْمَعُوا: إِنَّ إِلـهَ الـمَجْدِ قَدْ تَرَاءَى لأَبِينَا إِبْرَاهِيم، وهُوَ في بِلادِ مَا بَينَ النَّهْرَيْن، قَبْلَ أَنْ يَسْكُنَ فِي حَرَّان، 30 ولَمَّا تَمَّتْ أَرْبَعُونَ سَنَة، تَرَاءَى لَهُ مَلاكٌ في بَرِّيَّةِ جَبَلِ سِينَاء، في لَهَبِ عُلَّيقَةٍ مُشْتَعِلَة. 31 فَلَمَّا رَأَى مُوسَى ذـلِكَ، تَعَجَّبَ مِنَ الرُّؤْيَا. ودَنَا لِيَنْظُرَ إِلَيْهَا فَأَتَاهُ صَوْتٌ مِنَ الرَّبِّ يَقُول: 32 أَنَا إِلـهُ آبَائِكَ، إِلـهُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وإِسْحـقَ ويَعْقُوب. فَارْتَعَدَ مُوسَى، ومَا عَادَ يَجْرُؤُ أَنْ يَنْظُر. 33 فَقَالَ لَهُ الرَّبّ: إِخْلَعْ نَعْلَيْكَ مِنْ رِجْلَيْك، لأَنَّ الـمَكَانَ الَّذِي أَنْتَ وَاقِفٌ فِيهِ هُوَ أَرْضٌ مُقَدَّسَة. 34 إِنِّي قَدْ رَأَيْتُ الإِساءَةَ إِلى شَعْبِي في مِصْر، وسَمِعْتُ أَنِينَهُم، ونَزَلْتُ لأُنْقِذَهُم. فَهَلُمَّ الآنَ أُرْسِلُكَ إِلى مِصْر. 35 فَمُوسَى هـذَا الَّذِي أَنْكَرُوهُ قَائِلين: مَنْ أَقَامَكَ رَئِيسًا وقَاضِيًا؟ هُوَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَهُ اللهُ رَئِيسًا وفَادِيًا، عَلى يَدِ الـمَلاكِ الَّذِي تَرَاءَى لَهُ فِي العُلَّيْقَة. 36 هُوَ الَّذِي أَخْرَجَهُم بِمَا صَنَعَ مِنْ عَجَائِبَ وآيَاتٍ فِي أَرْضِ مِصْر، وفِي البَحْرِ الأَحْمَر، وفِي البَرِّيَّةِ طِيلَةَ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَة. 37 هـذَا هُوَ مُوسَى الَّذِي قَالَ لِبَنِي إِسْرائِيل: سَيُقِيمُ لَكُمُ اللهُ مِنْ بَينِ إِخْوَتِكُم نَبِيًّا مِثْلِي.
Evangile Arabic	19 ومَا إِنْ مَاتَ هِيرُودُسُ حَتَّى تَرَاءَى مَلاكُ الرَّبِّ في الـحُلْمِ لِيُوسُف، وهُوَ في مِصْر، 20 وقَالَ لَهُ: "قُمْ، خُذِ الصَّبِيَّ وأُمَّهُ، واذْهَبْ إِلى أَرْضِ إِسْرَائِيل، فَقَدْ مَاتَ مَنْ كَانُوا يَطْلُبُونَ نَفْسَ الصَّبِيّ". 21 فقَامَ يُوسُف، وأَخَذَ الصَّبِيَّ وأُمَّهُ، وجَاءَ إِلى أَرْضِ إِسْرَائِيل. 22 ولـكِنْ لَمَّا سَمِعَ أَنَّ أَرخِيلاوُسَ يَمْلِكُ عَلى اليَهُودِيَّةِ خَلَفًا لأَبِيهِ هِيرُودُس، خَافَ أَنْ يَذْهَبَ إِلى هُنَاك. وأُوحِيَ إِليْهِ في الـحُلْمِ فَلَجَأَ إِلى نَواحِي الـجَلِيل. 23 ومَضَى فَسَكَنَ مَدِينَةً تُدْعَى النَّاصِرَة، لِيَتِمَّ مَا قِيلَ بِالأَنْبِيَاء: "إِنَّهُ سَيُدْعَى نَاصِرِيًّا".

Lecture French	02 Étienne dit alors : « Frères et pères, écoutez ! Le Dieu de gloire est apparu à notre père Abraham, quand il était en Mésopotamie avant de venir habiter Harrane, 30 Quarante années s’écoulèrent ; un ange lui apparut au désert du mont Sinaï dans la flamme d’un buisson en feu. 31 Ayant vu, Moïse s’étonna de la vision, et lorsqu’il s’approcha pour regarder, la voix du Seigneur se fit entendre : 32 Je suis le Dieu de tes pères, le Dieu d’Abraham, d’Isaac et de Jacob. Moïse se mit à trembler, et il n’osait plus regarder. 33 Le Seigneur lui dit : Retire les sandales de tes pieds, car le lieu où tu te tiens est une terre sainte. 34 J’ai vu, oui, j’ai vu la misère de mon peuple qui est en Égypte ; j’ai entendu leurs gémissements et je suis descendu pour les délivrer. Et maintenant, va ! Je t’envoie en Égypte. 35 Ce Moïse que l’on avait rejeté en disant : Qui t’a établi chef et juge ?, Dieu l’a envoyé comme chef et libérateur, avec l’aide de l’ange qui lui était apparu dans le buisson. 36 C’est lui qui les a fait sortir en faisant des prodiges et des signes au pays d’Égypte, à la mer Rouge, et au désert pendant quarante ans. 37 C’est ce Moïse qui a dit aux fils d’Israël : Dieu suscitera pour vous, du milieu de vos frères, un prophète comme moi.
Evangile French	19 Après la mort d’Hérode, voici que l’ange du Seigneur apparaît en songe à Joseph en Égypte 20 et lui dit : « Lève-toi ; prends l’enfant et sa mère, et pars pour le pays d’Israël, car ils sont morts, ceux qui en voulaient à la vie de l’enfant. » 21 Joseph se leva, prit l’enfant et sa mère, et il entra dans le pays d’Israël. 22 Mais, apprenant qu’Arkélaüs régnait sur la Judée à la place de son père Hérode, il eut peur de s’y rendre. Averti en songe, il se retira dans la région de Galilée 23 et vint habiter dans une ville appelée Nazareth, pour que soit accomplie la parole dite par les prophètes : Il sera appelé Nazaréen.

The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham while he was in Mesopotamia,* before he had settled in Haran, 30 w “Forty years later, an angel appeared to him in the desert near Mount Sinai in the flame of a burning bush. 31 When Moses saw it, he was amazed at the sight, and as he drew near to look at it, the voice of the Lord came, 32 ‘I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob.’ Then Moses, trembling, did not dare to look at it. 33 But the Lord said to him, ‘Remove the sandals from your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground. 34 I have witnessed the affliction of my people in Egypt and have heard their groaning, and I have come down to rescue them. Come now, I will send you to Egypt.’ 35 This Moses, whom they had rejected with the words, ‘Who appointed you ruler and judge?’ God sent as [both] ruler and deliverer, through the angel who appeared to him in the bush.x 36 This man led them out, performing wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, at the Red Sea, and in the desert for forty years.y 37 It was this Moses who said to the Israelites, ‘God will raise up for you, from among your own kinsfolk, a prophet like me.’z
Evangile English	19 When Herod had died, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt 20 and said,f “Rise, take the child and his mother and go to the land of Israel, for those who sought the child’s life are dead.”* 21 He rose, took the child and his mother, and went to the land of Israel. 22 But when he heard that Archelaus was ruling over Judea in place of his father Herod,* he was afraid to go back there. And because he had been warned in a dream, he departed for the region of Galilee. 23 * g He went and dwelt in a town called Nazareth, so that what had been spoken through the prophets might be fulfilled, “He shall be called a Nazorean.”
