Lecture Arabic	51 هَا إِنِّي أَكْشِفُ لَكُم سِرًّا: لَنْ نَرْقُدَ جَمِيعُنا، بَلْ جَمِيعُنا سَنَتَحَوَّل، 52 في لَحْظَةٍ، في طَرْفَةِ عَيْن، عِنْدَ البُوقِ الأَخِير؛ لأَنَّهُ سَيُهْتَفُ بِالبُوق، فَيَقُومُ الأَمْوَاتُ بِغَيْرِ فَسَاد، ونَحْنُ سَنَتَحَوَّل. 53 فَلا بُدَّ أَنْ يَلْبَسَ هـذَا الفَاسِدُ عَدَمَ الفَسَاد، ويَلْبَسَ هـذَا الـمَائِتُ عَدَمَ الـمَوْت ! 54 وحِينَ يَلْبَسُ هـذَا الفَاسِدُ عَدَمَ الفَسَاد، ويَلْبَسُ هـذَا الـمَائِتُ عَدَمَ الـمَوْت، حِينَئِذٍ تَتِمُّ الكَلِمَةُ الـمَكْتُوبَة: "لَقَدِ ابْتُلِعَ الـمَوْتُ في الغَلَبَة! 55 أَيْنَ غَلَبتُكَ، يَا مَوْت؟ يَا مَوْتُ، أَيْنَ شَوْكَتُكَ ؟". 56 إِنَّ شَوْكَةَ الـمَوْتِ هِيَ الـخَطِيئَة، وقُوَّةَ الـخَطِيئَةِ هِيَ الشَّرِيعَة. 57 فَالشُّكْرُ للهِ الَّذي يُعْطِينَا الغلَبَةَ بِرَبِّنَا يَسُوعَ الـمَسِيح! 58 إِذًا، يَا إِخْوَتِي الأَحِبَّاء، كُونُوا رَاسِخِين، غَيْرَ مُتَزَعْزِعِين، مُتَقَدِّمِينَ عَلَى الدَّوَامِ في عَمَلِ الرَّبّ، عَالِمِينَ أَنَّ تَعَبَكُم لَيْسَ بِبَاطِلٍ أَمَامَ الرَّبّ.
Evangile Arabic	49 جِئْتُ أُلْقِي عَلَى الأَرْضِ نَارًا، وَكَمْ أَوَدُّ لَوْ تَكُونُ قَدِ اشْتَعَلَتْ! 50 وَلي مَعْمُودِيَّةٌ أَتَعَمَّدُ بِهَا، وَمَا أَشَدَّ تَضَايُقِي إِلى أَنْ تَتِمّ! 51 هَلْ تَظُنُّونَ أَنِّي جِئْتُ أُحِلُّ في الأَرْضِ سَلامًا؟ أقُولُ لَكُم: لا! بَلِ انْقِسَامًا! 52 فَمُنْذُ الآنَ يَكُونُ خَمْسَةٌ في بَيْتٍ وَاحِد، فَيَنْقَسِمُون: ثَلاثةٌ عَلَى اثْنَيْن، واثْنَانِ عَلى ثَلاثَة! 53 يَنْقَسِمُ أَبٌ عَلَى ابْنِهِ وابْنٌ عَلَى أَبِيه، أُمٌّ عَلَى ابْنَتِهَا وابْنَةٌ عَلَى أُمِّهَا، حَمَاةٌ عَلَى كَنَّتِها وَكَنَّةٌ عَلَى حَمَاتِها!". 54 وَقَالَ أَيْضًا لِلْجُمُوع: "مَتَى رَأَيْتُم سَحَابَةً تَطْلُعُ مِنَ الـمَغْرِب، تَقُولُونَ في الـحَال: أَلـمَطَرُ آتٍ! فَيَكُونُ كَذـلِكَ. 55 وَعِنْدَمَا تَهُبُّ رِيحُ الـجَنُوب، تَقُولُون: سَيَكُونُ الطَّقْسُ حَارًّا! ويَكُونُ كَذـلِكَ. 56 أَيُّهَا الـمُرَاؤُون، تَعْرِفُونَ أَنْ تُمَيِّزُوا وَجْهَ الأَرْضِ وَالسَّمَاء، أَمَّا هـذا الزَّمَانُ فَكَيْفَ لا تُمَيِّزُونَهُ؟ 57 وَلِمَاذا لا تَحْكُمُونَ بِالـحَقِّ مِنْ تِلْقَاءِ أَنْفُسِكُم؟ 58 حِينَ تَذْهَبُ مَعَ خَصْمِكَ إِلى الـحَاكِم، إِجْتَهِدْ في الطَّرِيقِ أَنْ تُنْهِيَ أَمْرَكَ مَعَهُ، لِئَلاَّ يَجُرَّكَ إِلى القَاضِي، وَيُسَلِّمَكَ القَاضِي إِلى السَّجَّان، وَالسَّجَّانُ يَطْرَحُكَ في السِّجْن. 59 أَقُولُ لَكَ: لَنْ تَخْرُجَ مِنْ هُنَاك، حَتَّى تُؤَدِّيَ آخِرَ فَلْس".

Lecture French	51 C’est un mystère que je vous annonce : nous ne mourrons pas tous, mais tous nous serons transformés, 52 et cela en un instant, en un clin d’œil, quand, à la fin, la trompette retentira. Car elle retentira, et les morts ressusciteront, impérissables, et nous, nous serons transformés. 53 Il faut en effet que cet être périssable que nous sommes revête ce qui est impérissable ; il faut que cet être mortel revête l’immortalité. 54 Et quand cet être périssable aura revêtu ce qui est impérissable, quand cet être mortel aura revêtu l’immortalité, alors se réalisera la parole de l’Écriture : La mort a été engloutie dans la victoire. 55 Ô Mort, où est ta victoire ? Ô Mort, où est-il, ton aiguillon ? 56 L’aiguillon de la mort, c’est le péché ; ce qui donne force au péché, c’est la Loi. 57 Rendons grâce à Dieu qui nous donne la victoire par notre Seigneur Jésus Christ. 58 Ainsi, mes frères bien-aimés, soyez fermes, soyez inébranlables, prenez une part toujours plus active à l’œuvre du Seigneur, car vous savez que, dans le Seigneur, la peine que vous vous donnez n’est pas perdue.
Evangile French	49 Je suis venu apporter un feu sur la terre, et comme je voudrais qu’il soit déjà allumé ! 50 Je dois recevoir un baptême, et quelle angoisse est la mienne jusqu’à ce qu’il soit accompli ! 51 Pensez-vous que je sois venu mettre la paix sur la terre ? Non, je vous le dis, mais bien plutôt la division. 52 Car désormais cinq personnes de la même famille seront divisées : trois contre deux et deux contre trois ; 53 ils se diviseront : le père contre le fils et le fils contre le père, la mère contre la fille et la fille contre la mère, la belle-mère contre la belle-fille et la belle-fille contre la belle-mère. » 54 S’adressant aussi aux foules, Jésus disait : « Quand vous voyez un nuage monter au couchant, vous dites aussitôt qu’il va pleuvoir, et c’est ce qui arrive. 55 Et quand vous voyez souffler le vent du sud, vous dites qu’il fera une chaleur torride, et cela arrive. 56 Hypocrites ! Vous savez interpréter l’aspect de la terre et du ciel ; mais ce moment-ci, pourquoi ne savez-vous pas l’interpréter ? 57 Et pourquoi aussi ne jugez-vous pas par vous-mêmes ce qui est juste ? 58 Ainsi, quand tu vas avec ton adversaire devant le magistrat, pendant que tu es en chemin mets tout en œuvre pour t’arranger avec lui, afin d’éviter qu’il ne te traîne devant le juge, que le juge ne te livre à l’huissier, et que l’huissier ne te jette en prison. 59 Je te le dis : tu n’en sortiras pas avant d’avoir payé jusqu’au dernier centime. » Premier

Lecture English	51 * Behold, I tell you a mystery. We shall not all fall asleep, but we will all be changed,z 52 in an instant, in the blink of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.a 53 For that which is corruptible must clothe itself with incorruptibility, and that which is mortal must clothe itself with immortality.b 54 * And when this which is corruptible clothes itself with incorruptibility and this which is mortal clothes itself with immortality, then the word that is written shall come about:c “Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”d 56 The sting of death is sin,* and the power of sin is the law.e 57 But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.f 58 Therefore, my beloved brothers, be firm, steadfast, always fully devoted to the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
Evangile English	49 “I have come to set the earth on fire, and how I wish it were already blazing! 50 * There is a baptism with which I must be baptized, and how great is my anguish until it is accomplished!u 51 Do you think that I have come to establish peace on the earth?v No, I tell you, but rather division.w 52 From now on a household of five will be divided, three against two and two against three; 53 a father will be divided against his son and a son against his father, a mother against her daughter and a daughter against her mother, a mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.”x Signs of the Times.y 54 He also said to the crowds, “When you see [a] cloud rising in the west you say immediately that it is going to rain—and so it does; 55 and when you notice that the wind is blowing from the south you say that it is going to be hot—and so it is. 56 You hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky; why do you not know how to interpret the present time? Settlement with an Opponent.z 57 “Why do you not judge for yourselves what is right? 58 If you are to go with your opponent before a magistrate, make an effort to settle the matter on the way; otherwise your opponent will turn you over to the judge, and the judge hand you over to the constable, and the constable throw you into prison. 59 I say to you, you will not be released until you have paid the last penny.”*
