Lecture Arabic	18 ثُمَّ بَعْدَ ثَلاثِ سَنَوَات، صَعِدْتُ إِلى أُورَشَليمَ لأَتَعَرَّفَ إِلى كِيفَا، وأَقَمْتُ عِندَهُ خَمْسَةَ عَشَرَ يَوْمًا، 19 ومَا رَأَيْتُ أَحَدًا غَيْرَهُ مِنَ الرُّسُلِ سِوَى يَعْقُوبَ أَخِي الرَّبّ. 20 ومَا أَكتُبُ بِهِ إِلَيْكُم، فهَاءَنَذَا أَمَامَ اللهِ أَشْهَدُ أَنِّي لا أَكْذِب! 21 ثُمَّ ذَهَبْتُ إِلى نَوَاحِي سُورِيَّا وقِيلِيقيَة. 22 ولَمْ أَكُنْ مَعْرُوفًا بِالوَجْهِ لَدَى كَنَائِسِ اليَهُودِيَّة، الَّتي هيَ في الـمَسِيح، 23 غَيْرَ أَنَّهُم كَانُوا يَسْمَعُونَ أَنَّ الَّذي كَانَ يَضْطَهِدُنَا مِن قَبْلُ، هُوَ الآنَ يُبَشِّرُ بِالإِيْمَانِ الَّذي كَانَ يَسْعَى مِن قَبْلُ إِلى تَدْمِيرِهِ، 24 وَبِسَبَبِي كَانُوا يُمَجِّدُونَ الله!
Evangile Arabic	38 حينَئِذٍ أَجَابَهُ بَعْضُ الكَتَبَةِ والفَرِّيِسِيِّينَ قَائِلين: "يَا مُعَلِّم، نُرِيدُ أَنْ نَرَى مِنْكَ آيَة". 39 فَأَجَابَ وقَالَ لَهُم: "جِيْلٌ شِرِّيرٌ فَاجِرٌ يَطْلُبُ آيَة، ولَنْ يُعْطَى آيَةً إِلاَّ آيَةَ يُونَانَ النَّبِيّ. 40 فكَمَا كَانَ يُونَانُ في بَطْنِ الـحُوتِ ثَلاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ وثَلاثَ لَيَال، كَذـلِكَ سَيَكُونُ ابْنُ الإِنْسَانِ في قَلْبِ الأَرْضِ ثَلاثةَ أَيَّامٍ وثَلاثَ لَيَال. 41 رِجَالُ نِينَوَى سَيَقُومُونَ في الدَّيْنُونَةِ مَعَ هـذَا الـجِيلِ ويَدِينُونَهُ، لأَنَّهُم تَابُوا بِإِنْذَارِ يُونَان، وهَا هُنَا أَعْظَمُ مِنْ يُونَان! 42 مَلِكَةُ الـجَنُوبِ سَتَقُومُ في الدَّيْنُونَةِ مَعَ هـذَا الـجِيلِ وتَدِينُهُ، لأَنَّهَا جَاءَتْ مِنْ أَقَاصِي الأَرضِ لِتَسْمَعَ حِكْمَةَ سُلَيْمَان، وهَا هُنَا أَعْظَمُ مِنْ سُلَيْمَان!

Lecture French	18 Puis, trois ans après, je suis monté à Jérusalem pour faire la connaissance de Pierre, et je suis resté quinze jours auprès de lui. 19 Je n’ai vu aucun des autres Apôtres sauf Jacques, le frère du Seigneur. 20 En vous écrivant cela, – je le déclare devant Dieu – je ne mens pas. 21 Ensuite, je me suis rendu dans les régions de Syrie et de Cilicie. 22 Mais pour les Églises de Judée qui sont dans le Christ, mon visage restait inconnu ; 23 elles avaient simplement entendu dire : « Celui qui nous persécutait naguère annonce aujourd’hui la foi qu’il cherchait alors à détruire. » 24 Et l’on rendait gloire à Dieu à mon sujet.
Evangile French	38 Quelques-uns des scribes et des pharisiens lui adressèrent la parole : « Maître, nous voudrions voir un signe venant de toi. » 39 Il leur répondit : « Cette génération mauvaise et adultère réclame un signe, mais, en fait de signe, il ne lui sera donné que le signe du prophète Jonas. 40 En effet, comme Jonas est resté dans le ventre du monstre marin trois jours et trois nuits, le Fils de l’homme restera de même au cœur de la terre trois jours et trois nuits. 41 Lors du Jugement, les habitants de Ninive se lèveront en même temps que cette génération, et ils la condamneront ; en effet, ils se sont convertis en réponse à la proclamation faite par Jonas, et il y a ici bien plus que Jonas. 42 Lors du Jugement, la reine de Saba se dressera en même temps que cette génération, et elle la condamnera ; en effet, elle est venue des extrémités de la terre pour écouter la sagesse de Salomon, et il y a ici bien plus que Salomon.

Lecture English	18 * Then after three years* I went up to Jerusalem to confer with Cephas and remained with him for fifteen days.m 19 But I did not see any other of the apostles,n only James the brother of the Lord.* 20 (As to what I am writing to you, behold, before God, I am not lying.)o 21 Then I went into the regions of Syria and Cilicia.p 22 And I was unknown personally to the churches of Judea that are in Christ; 23 they only kept hearing that “the one who once was persecuting us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy.”q 24 So they glorified God because of me.
Evangile English	38 Then some of the scribes and Pharisees said to him, “Teacher,* we wish to see a sign from you.”u 39 He said to them in reply, “An evil and unfaithful* generation seeks a sign, but no sign will be given it except the sign of Jonah the prophet. 40 Just as Jonah was in the belly of the whale three days and three nights,* so will the Son of Man be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights. 41 * At the judgment, the men of Nineveh will arise with this generation and condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and there is something greater than Jonah here. 42 At the judgment the queen of the south will arise with this generation and condemn it, because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and there is something greater than Solomon here.v
