Lecture Arabic	1 مِنْ بُولُسَ رَسُولِ الـمَسِيحِ يَسُوع، بِمَشِيئَةِ الله، وَفْقًا لِوَعْدِ الـحَيَاةِ الَّتي في الـمَسِيحِ يَسُوع، 2 إِلى طِيمُوتَاوُسَ ابْنِي الـحَبِيب: أَلنِّعْمَةُ والرَّحْمَةُ والسَّلامُ مِنَ اللهِ الآبِ والـمَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ رَبِّنَا! 3 أَشْكُرُ اللهَ الَّذي أَعْبُدُهُ كمَا عَبَدَهُ أَجْدَادِي، وأَنَا أَذْكُرُكَ بِغَيْرِ انْقِطَاعٍ في صَلَواتِي لَيْلَ نَهَار. 4 وأَتذَكَّرُ دُمُوعَكَ، فأَتَشَوَّقُ أَنْ أَراكَ لأَمْتَلِئَ فَرَحًا، 5 كمَا أَتَذَكَّرُ إِيْمَانَكَ الَّذي لا رِيَاءَ فِيه، والَّذي رَسَخَ أَوَّلاً في جَدَّتِكَ لُوئِيس، وفي أُمِّكَ أُونِيقَة، وإِنِّي وَاثِقٌ أَنَّهُ راسِخٌ فِيكَ أَنْتَ أَيْضًا. 6 لِذـلِكَ أُذَكِّرُكَ أَنْ تُذَكِّيَ مَوهِبَةَ اللهِ الـَّتي فِيكَ بِوَضْعِ يَدَيَّ. 7 فَإِنَّ اللهَ لَمْ يُعْطِنَا رُوحَ الـخَوْف، بَلْ رُوحَ القُوَّةِ والـمَحَبَّةِ والاعْتِدَال. 8 فلا تَسْتَحْيِ بِشَهَادَةِ رَبِّنَا، ولا بِي أَنَا أَسِيرَهُ، بَلْ شَارِكْنِي في احْتِمَالِ الْمَشَقَّاتِ مِنْ أَجْلِ الإِنْجِيل، مُتَقَوِّيًا بِالله، 9 الَّذي خَلَّصَنَا ودَعَانَا دَعْوَةً مُقَدَّسَة، لا وَفْقًا لأَعْمَالِنَا بَلْ وَفْقًا لِقَصْدِهِِ هُوَ ونِعْمَتِهِ، الَّتي وُهِبَتْ لَنَا في الـمَسِيحِ يَسُوع، قَبْلَ الأَزْمِنَةِ الدَّهْرِيَّة. 10 لـكِنَّهَا أُعْلِنَتِ الآنَ بِظُهُورِ مُخَلِّصِنَا الْمَسِيحِ يَسُوع، الَّذي أَبْطَلَ الْمَوْت، فأَنَارَ الـحَيَاةَ وعَدَمَ الفَسَادِ بَوَاسِطَةِ الإِنْجِيل، 11 الَّذي جُعِلْتُ أَنَا لَهُ مُبَشِّرًا ورَسُولاً ومُعَلِّمًا.
Evangile Arabic	24 حينَئِذٍ قَالَ يَسُوعُ لِتَلامِيْذِهِ: "مَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَتْبَعَنِي، فَلْيَكْفُرْ بِنَفْسِهِ ويَحْمِلْ صَلِيْبَهُ ويَتْبَعْنِي، 25 لأَنَّ مَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يُخَلِّصَ نَفْسَهُ يَفْقِدُهَا، ومَنْ فَقَدَ نَفْسَهُ مِنْ أَجْلِي يَجِدُهَا. 26 فَمَاذَا يَنْفَعُ الإِنْسَانَ لَوْ رَبِحَ العَالَمَ كُلَّهُ وخَسِرَ نَفْسَهُ ؟ أَو مَاذَا يُعْطِي الإِنْسَانُ بَدَلاً عَنْ نَفْسِهِ؟ 27 فَإِنَّ ابْنَ الإِنْسَانِ سَوْفَ يَأْتِي في مَجْدِ أَبِيْه، مَعَ مَلائِكَتِهِ، وحينَئِذٍ يُجَازِي كُلَّ وَاحِدٍ بِحَسَبِ أَعْمَالِهِ. 28 أَلـحَقَّ أَقُولُ لَكُم: إِنَّ بَعْضًا مِنَ القَائِمِينَ هُنَا لَنْ يَذُوقُوا الـمَوت، حَتَّى يَرَوا ابْنَ الإِنْسَانِ آتِيًا في مَلَكُوتِهِ".

Lecture French	01 PAUL, APOTRE du Christ Jésus par la volonté de Dieu, selon la promesse de la vie que nous avons dans le Christ Jésus, 02 à Timothée, mon enfant bien-aimé. À toi, la grâce, la miséricorde et la paix de la part de Dieu le Père et du Christ Jésus notre Seigneur. 03 Je suis plein de gratitude envers Dieu, à qui je rends un culte avec une conscience pure, à la suite de mes ancêtres, je lui rends grâce en me souvenant continuellement de toi dans mes prières, nuit et jour. 04 Me rappelant tes larmes, j’ai un très vif désir de te revoir pour être rempli de joie. 05 J’ai souvenir de la foi sincère qui est en toi : c’était celle qui habitait d’abord Loïs, ta grand-mère, et celle d’Eunice, ta mère, et j’ai la conviction que c’est aussi la tienne. 06 Voilà pourquoi, je te le rappelle, ravive le don gratuit de Dieu, ce don qui est en toi depuis que je t’ai imposé les mains. 07 Car ce n’est pas un esprit de peur que Dieu nous a donné, mais un esprit de force, d’amour et de pondération. 08 N’aie donc pas honte de rendre témoignage à notre Seigneur, et n’aie pas honte de moi, qui suis son prisonnier ; mais, avec la force de Dieu, prends ta part des souffrances liées à l’annonce de l’Évangile. 09 Car Dieu nous a sauvés, il nous a appelés à une vocation sainte, non pas à cause de nos propres actes, mais à cause de son projet à lui et de sa grâce. Cette grâce nous avait été donnée dans le Christ Jésus avant tous les siècles, 10 et maintenant elle est devenue visible, car notre Sauveur, le Christ Jésus, s’est manifesté : il a détruit la mort, et il a fait resplendir la vie et l’immortalité par l’annonce de l’Évangile, 11 pour lequel j’ai reçu la charge de messager, d’apôtre et d’enseignant.
Evangile French	24 Alors Jésus dit à ses disciples : « Si quelqu’un veut marcher à ma suite, qu’il renonce à lui-même, qu’il prenne sa croix et qu’il me suive. 25 Car celui qui veut sauver sa vie la perdra, mais qui perd sa vie à cause de moi la trouvera. 26 Quel avantage, en effet, un homme aura-t-il à gagner le monde entier, si c’est au prix de sa vie ? Et que pourra-t-il donner en échange de sa vie ? 27 Car le Fils de l’homme va venir avec ses anges dans la gloire de son Père ; alors il rendra à chacun selon sa conduite. 28 Amen, je vous le dis : parmi ceux qui sont ici, certains ne connaîtront pas la mort avant d’avoir vu le Fils de l’homme venir dans son Règne. »

Thanksgiving. 3 b I am grateful to God, whom I worship with a clear conscience as my ancestors did,* as I remember you constantly in my prayers, night and day. 4 * I yearn to see you again, recalling your tears, so that I may be filled with joy, 5 as I recall your sincere faith that first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and that I am confident lives also in you.c The Gifts Timothy Has Received. 6 For this reason, I remind you to stir into flame the gift of God* that you have through the imposition of my hands.d 7 For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice but rather of power and love and self-control.e 8 So do not be ashamed of your testimony to our Lord,* nor of me, a prisoner for his sake; but bear your share of hardship for the gospel with the strength that comes from God.f 9 * He saved us and called us to a holy life, not according to our works but according to his own design and the grace bestowed on us in Christ Jesus before time began,g 10 but now made manifest through the appearance of our savior Christ Jesus, who destroyed death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,h 11 * for which I was appointed preacher and apostlei and teacher.
Evangile English	24 q Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself,* take up his cross, and follow me. 25 r For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.* 26 What profit would there be for one to gain the whole world and forfeit his life? Or what can one give in exchange for his life? 27 * s For the Son of Man will come with his angels in his Father’s glory, and then he will repay everyone according to his conduct. 28 * Amen, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”
