Lecture Arabic	1 مِنْ بُولُسَ عَبْدِ الله، ورَسُولِ يَسُوعَ الْمَسِيحِ في سَبِيلِ إِيْمَانِ مَنِ اخْتَارَهُمُ الله، لِيَعْرِفُوا الـحَقَّ الـمُوافِقَ لِلتَّقْوَى، 2 على رجَاءِ الـحَيَاةِ الأَبَدِيَّةِ الَّتي وَعَدَ بِهَا الله، قَبْلَ الأَزْمِنَةِ الدَّهْرِيَّة، واللهُ لا يَكْذِب، 3 إِلى طِيطُسَ الابنِ الْحَقِيقِيِّ في الإِيْمَانِ الـمُشْتَرَك: أَلنِّعْمَةُ والسَّلامُ مِنَ اللهِ الآبِ والـمَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ مُخَلِّصِنَا! 4 فقَدْ أَظْهَرَ كَلِمَتَهُ في وَقْتِهَا بِالتَّبْشِيرِ الَّذي ائْتُمِنْتُ أَنَا عَلَيه، بأَمْرٍ مِنَ اللهِ مُخَلِّصِنَا. 5 لقَدْ تَرَكْتُكَ في كِرِيت، لِكَي تُنَظِّمَ الأُمُورَ البَاقِيَة، وتُقِيمَ كَهَنَةً في كُلِّ مَدِينَة، كمَا أَوْصَيْتُكَ، 6 على أَنْ يَكُونَ كُلُّ واحِدٍ مِنْهُم بِلا لَوم، وقَدْ تَزَوَّجَ مَرَّةً وَاحِدَة، ولَهُ أَوْلادٌ مُؤْمِنُون، غُيرُ مأْخُوذِينَ بِتُهْمَةِ طَيْش، ولا عُصَاة؛ 7 لأَنَّ الأُسْقُف، بِوَصْفِهِ وَكِيلاً لله، يَجِبُ أَنْ يَكُونَ بِلا لَوم، غَيرَ مُعْجَبٍ بِنَفْسِهِ، ولا غَضُوبًا، وغَيرَ مُدْمِنٍ لِلخَمْر، ولا تُسْرِعُ يَدُهُ لِلضَّرْب، ولا يَسْعى إِلى رِبْحٍ خَسِيس، 8 بَلْ مِضْيَافًا، مُحِبًّا لِلخَيْر، رَزِينًا، بَارًّا، نَقِيًّا، عَفِيفًا، 9 مُتَمَسِّكًا بِالكَلامِ الْحَقِّ الـمُوافِقِ لِلتَّعْلِيم، لِيَكُونَ قَادِرًا على الوَعْظِ في التَّعْلِيمِ الصَّحِيح، وعلى إِفْحَامِ الـمُعَارِضِين.
Evangile Arabic	13 أَنْتُم تَدْعُونَنِي الـمُعَلِّمَ والرَّبّ، وحَسَنًا تَقُولُون، لأَنـِّي كَذـلِكَ. 14 فَإِنْ كُنْتُ أَنَا الرَّبَّ والـمُعَلِّمَ قَدْ غَسَلْتُ أَقْدَامَكُم، فَعَلَيْكُم أَنْتُم أَيْضًا أَنْ يَغْسِلَ بَعْضُكُم أَقْدَامَ بَعْض. 15 لَقَدْ أَعْطَيْتُكُم مِثَالاً، لِتَفْعَلُوا أَنْتُم أَيْضًا كَمَا فَعَلْتُ أَنَا لَكُم. 16 أَلـحَقَّ الـحَقَّ أَقُولُ لَكُم: لَيْسَ عَبْدٌ أَعْظَمَ مِنْ سَيِّدِهِ، ولا رَسُولٌ أَعْظَمَ مِنْ مُرْسِلِهِ. 17 إِنْ عَلِمْتُمْ هـذَا، وعَمِلْتُمْ بِهِ، فَطُوبَى لَكُم!

Lecture French	01 PAUL, SERVITEUR DE DIEU, apôtre de Jésus Christ au service de la foi de ceux que Dieu a choisis et de la pleine connaissance de la vérité qui est en accord avec la piété. 02 Nous avons l’espérance de la vie éternelle, promise depuis toujours par Dieu qui ne ment pas. 03 Aux temps fixés, il a manifesté sa parole dans la proclamation de l’Évangile qui m’a été confiée par ordre de Dieu notre Sauveur. 04 Je m’adresse à toi, Tite, mon véritable enfant selon la foi qui nous est commune : à toi, la grâce et la paix de la part de Dieu le Père et du Christ Jésus notre Sauveur. 05 Si je t’ai laissé en Crète, c’est pour que tu finisses de tout organiser et que, dans chaque ville, tu établisses des Anciens comme je te l’ai commandé moi-même. 06 L’Ancien doit être quelqu’un qui soit sans reproche, époux d’une seule femme, ayant des enfants qui soient croyants et ne soient pas accusés d’inconduite ou indisciplinés. 07 Il faut en effet que le responsable de communauté soit sans reproche, puisqu’il est l’intendant de Dieu ; il ne doit être ni arrogant, ni coléreux, ni buveur, ni brutal, ni avide de profits malhonnêtes ; 08 mais il doit être accueillant, ami du bien, raisonnable, juste, saint, maître de lui. 09 Il doit être attaché à la parole digne de foi, celle qui est conforme à la doctrine, pour être capable d’exhorter en donnant un enseignement solide, et aussi de réfuter les opposants.
Evangile French	13 Vous m’appelez “Maître” et “Seigneur”, et vous avez raison, car vraiment je le suis. 14 Si donc moi, le Seigneur et le Maître, je vous ai lavé les pieds, vous aussi, vous devez vous laver les pieds les uns aux autres. 15 C’est un exemple que je vous ai donné afin que vous fassiez, vous aussi, comme j’ai fait pour vous. 16 Amen, amen, je vous le dis : un serviteur n’est pas plus grand que son maître, ni un envoyé plus grand que celui qui l’envoie. 17 Sachant cela, heureux êtes-vous, si vous le faites.

Lecture English	1 Paul, a slave of God and apostle of Jesus Christ for the sake of the faith of God’s chosen ones and the recognition of religious truth,a 2 in the hope of eternal life that God, who does not lie, promised before time began,b 3 who indeed at the proper time revealed his word in the proclamation with which I was entrusted by the command of God our savior,c 4 to Titus, my true child in our common faith: grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our savior.d Titus in Crete. 5 * For this reason I left you in Crete so that you might set right what remains to be done and appoint presbyters in every town, as I directed you, 6 e on condition that a man be blameless, married only once, with believing children who are not accused of licentiousness or rebellious. 7 For a bishop as God’s steward must be blameless, not arrogant, not irritable, not a drunkard, not aggressive, not greedy for sordid gain, 8 but hospitable, a lover of goodness, temperate, just, holy, and self-controlled, 9 holding fast to the true message as taught so that he will be able both to exhort with sound doctrine and to refute opponents.f
Evangile English	13 You call me ‘teacher’ and ‘master,’ and rightly so, for indeed I am.h 14 If I, therefore, the master and teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash one another’s feet. 15 I have given you a model to follow, so that as I have done for you, you should also do.i 16 Amen, amen, I say to you, no slave is greater than his master nor any messenger* greater than the one who sent him.j 17 If you understand this, blessed are you if you do it.
