Lecture Arabic	18 فَإِنَّكُم لَمْ تَقْتَرِبُوا إِلى جَبَلٍ مَلْمُوس، ونارٍ مُتَّقِدَة، وضَبَابٍ وظَلامٍ وزَوبَعَة، 19 وهُتَافِ بُوق، وصَوتِ كَلِمَاتٍ طَلَبَ الَّذِينَ سَمِعُوهَا أَلاَّ يُزَادُوا مِنهَا كَلِمَة؛ 20 لأَنَّهُم لَمْ يُطِيقُوا تَحَمُّلَ هـذَا الأَمْر: "ولَو أَنَّ بَهِيمَةً مَسَّتِ الـجَبَلَ تُرْجَم!". 21 وكانَ الـمَنْظَرُ رَهِيبًا حَتَّى إِنَّ مُوسَى قال: "إِنِّي خَائِفٌ ومُرْتَعِد!". 22 بَلِ اقْتَرَبْتُم إِلى جَبَلِ صِهْيُون، وإِلى مَدِينَةِ اللهِ الـحَيّ، أُورَشَلِيمَ السَّماوِيَّة، وإِلى عَشَرَاتِ الأُلُوفِ منَ الـمَلائِكَة، وإِلى عِيدٍ حَافِل، 23 وإِلى كَنِيسَةِ الأَبْكَارِ الـمَكْتُوبِينَ في السَّمَاوَات، وإِلى اللهِ ديَّانِ الـجَمِيع، وإِلى أَرْواحِ الأَبْرَارِ الَّذِينَ بَلَغُوا الكَمَال، 24 وإِلى وَسِيطِ العَهْدِ الـجَدِيد، يَسُوع، وإِلى دَمِ رَشٍّ يَنْطِقُ بكَلاَمٍ أَفْضَلَ مِنْ دَمِ هَابِيل!
Evangile Arabic	31 ومَتَى جَاءَ ابْنُ الإِنْسَانِ في مَجْدِهِ، وجَمِيعُ الـمَلائِكَةِ مَعَهُ، يَجْلِسُ على عَرْشِ مَجْدِهِ. 32 وتُجْمَعُ لَدَيْهِ جَمِيعُ الأُمَم، فَيُمَيِّزُ بَعْضَهُم مِنْ بَعْض، كَمَا يُمَيِّزُ الرَّاعِي الـخِرَافَ مِنَ الـجِدَاء. 33 ويُقِيمُ الـخِرَافَ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَالـجِدَاءَ عَنْ شِمَالِهِ. 34 حِينَئِذٍ يَقُولُ الـمَلِكُ لِلَّذينَ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ: تَعَالَوا، يَا مُبَارَكي أَبي، رِثُوا الـمَلَكُوتَ الـمُعَدَّ لَكُم مُنْذُ إِنْشَاءِ العَالَم؛ 35 لأَنِّي جُعْتُ فَأَطْعَمْتُمُونِي، وعَطِشْتُ فَسَقَيْتُمُونِي، وكُنْتُ غَريبًا فَآوَيْتُمُوني، 36 وعُرْيَانًا فَكَسَوْتُمُوني، ومَريضًا فَزُرْتُمُونِي، ومَحْبُوسًا فَأَتَيْتُم إِليّ. 37 حِينَئِذٍ يُجِيبُهُ الأَبْرَارُ قَائِلين: يَا رَبّ، مَتَى رَأَيْنَاكَ جَائِعًا فَأَطْعَمْنَاك، أَو عَطْشَانَ فَسَقَيْنَاك؟ 38 ومَتَى رَأَيْنَاكَ غَريبًا فَآوَيْنَاك، أَو عُرْيَانًا فَكَسَوْنَاك؟ 39 ومَتَى رَأَيْنَاكَ مَريضًا أَو مَحْبُوسًا فَأَتَيْنَا إِلَيْك؟ 40 فَيُجِيبُ الـمَلِكُ ويَقُولُ لَهُم: أَلـحَقَّ أَقُولُ لَكُم: كُلُّ مَا عَمِلْتُمُوهُ لأَحَدِ إِخْوَتِي هـؤُلاءِ الصِّغَار، فَلِي عَمِلْتُمُوه! 41 ثُمَّ يَقُولُ لِلَّذينَ عَنْ شِمَالِهِ: إِذْهَبُوا عَنِّي، يَا مَلاعِين، إِلى النَّارِ الأَبَدِيَّةِ الـمُعَدَّةِ لإِبْلِيسَ وجُنُودِهِ؛ 42 لأَنِّي جُعْتُ فَمَا أَطْعَمْتُمُونِي، وعَطِشْتُ فَمَا سَقَيْتُمُوني، 43 وكُنْتُ غَريبًا فَمَا آوَيْتُمُونِي، وعُرْيَانًا فَمَا كَسَوْتُمُونِي، ومَرِيضًا ومَحْبُوسًا فَمَا زُرْتُمُونِي! 44 حِينَئِذٍ يُجِيبُهُ هـؤُلاءِ أَيْضًا قَائِلين: يَا رَبّ، مَتَى رَأَيْنَاكَ جاَئِعًا أَوْ عَطْشَانَ أَوْ غَرِيبًا أَو مَريضًا أَو مَحْبُوسًا ومَا خَدَمْنَاك؟ 45 حِينَئِذٍ يُجِيبُهُم قِائِلاً: أَلـحَقَّ أَقُولُ لَكُم: كُلُّ مَا لَمْ تَعْمَلُوهُ لأَحَدِ هـؤُلاءِ الصِّغَار، فلِي لَمْ تَعْمَلُوه. 46 ويَذْهَبُ هـؤُلاءِ إِلى العَذَابِ الأَبَدِيّ، والأَبْرَارُ إِلى الـحَيَاةِ الأَبَدِيَّة".

Lecture French	18 Vous n’êtes pas venus vers une réalité palpable, embrasée par le feu, comme la montagne du Sinaï : pas d’obscurité, de ténèbres ni d’ouragan, 19 pas de son de trompettes ni de paroles prononcées par cette voix que les fils d’Israël demandèrent à ne plus entendre. 20 Car ils ne supportaient pas cette interdiction : Qui touchera la montagne, même si c’est un animal, sera lapidé. 21 Le spectacle était si effrayant que Moïse dit : Je suis effrayé et tremblant. 22 Mais vous êtes venus vers la montagne de Sion et vers la ville du Dieu vivant, la Jérusalem céleste, vers des myriades d’anges en fête 23 et vers l’assemblée des premiers-nés dont les noms sont inscrits dans les cieux. Vous êtes venus vers Dieu, le juge de tous, et vers les esprits des justes amenés à la perfection. 24 Vous êtes venus vers Jésus, le médiateur d’une alliance nouvelle, et vers le sang de l’aspersion, son sang qui parle plus fort que celui d’Abel.
Evangile French	31 « Quand le Fils de l’homme viendra dans sa gloire, et tous les anges avec lui, alors il siégera sur son trône de gloire. 32 Toutes les nations seront rassemblées devant lui ; il séparera les hommes les uns des autres, comme le berger sépare les brebis des boucs : 33 il placera les brebis à sa droite, et les boucs à gauche. 34 Alors le Roi dira à ceux qui seront à sa droite : “Venez, les bénis de mon Père, recevez en héritage le Royaume préparé pour vous depuis la fondation du monde. 35 Car j’avais faim, et vous m’avez donné à manger ; j’avais soif, et vous m’avez donné à boire ; j’étais un étranger, et vous m’avez accueilli ; 36 j’étais nu, et vous m’avez habillé ; j’étais malade, et vous m’avez visité ; j’étais en prison, et vous êtes venus jusqu’à moi !” 37 Alors les justes lui répondront : “Seigneur, quand est-ce que nous t’avons vu… ? tu avais donc faim, et nous t’avons nourri ? tu avais soif, et nous t’avons donné à boire ? 38 tu étais un étranger, et nous t’avons accueilli ? tu étais nu, et nous t’avons habillé ? 39 tu étais malade ou en prison… Quand sommes-nous venus jusqu’à toi ?” 40 Et le Roi leur répondra : “Amen, je vous le dis : chaque fois que vous l’avez fait à l’un de ces plus petits de mes frères, c’est à moi que vous l’avez fait.” 41 Alors il dira à ceux qui seront à sa gauche : “Allez-vous-en loin de moi, vous les maudits, dans le feu éternel préparé pour le diable et ses anges. 42 Car j’avais faim, et vous ne m’avez pas donné à manger ; j’avais soif, et vous ne m’avez pas donné à boire ; 43 j’étais un étranger, et vous ne m’avez pas accueilli ; j’étais nu, et vous ne m’avez pas habillé ; j’étais malade et en prison, et vous ne m’avez pas visité.” 44 Alors ils répondront, eux aussi : “Seigneur, quand t’avons-nous vu avoir faim, avoir soif, être nu, étranger, malade ou en prison, sans nous mettre à ton service ?” 45 Il leur répondra : “Amen, je vous le dis : chaque fois que vous ne l’avez pas fait à l’un de ces plus petits, c’est à moi que vous ne l’avez pas fait.” 46 Et ils s’en iront, ceux-ci au châtiment éternel, et les justes, à la vie éternelle. »

Lecture English	18 * You have not approached that which could be touched*l and a blazing fire and gloomy darkness and storm 19 and a trumpet blast and a voice speaking words such that those who heard begged that no message be further addressed to them,m 20 for they could not bear to hear the command: “If even an animal touches the mountain, it shall be stoned.”n 21 Indeed, so fearful was the spectacle that Moses said, “I am terrified and trembling.”o 22 No, you have approached Mount Zion and the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and countless angels in festal gathering,p 23 and the assembly of the firstborn enrolled in heaven,* and God the judge of all, and the spirits of the just made perfect,q 24 and Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and the sprinkled blood that speaks more eloquently* than that of Abel.r
Evangile English	31 f “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit upon his glorious throne, 32 g and all the nations* will be assembled before him. And he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will place the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. 34 Then the king will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35 h For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.’ 37 Then the righteous* will answer him and say, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? 39 When did we see you ill or in prison, and visit you?’ 40 i And the king will say to them in reply, ‘Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.’ 41 * j Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you accursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 k For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, 43 a stranger and you gave me no welcome, naked and you gave me no clothing, ill and in prison, and you did not care for me.’ 44 * Then they will answer and say, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or ill or in prison, and not minister to your needs?’ 45 He will answer them, ‘Amen, I say to you, what you did not do for one of these least ones, you did not do for me.’ 46 l And these will go off to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”
