Lecture Arabic	1 أَيُّهَا الإِخْوَة، إِنِّي أُكَلِّمُكُم كأُنَاسٍ يَعْرِفُونَ الشَّرِيعَة: هَلْ تَجْهَلُونَ أَنَّ الشَّرِيعَةَ تتَسَلَّطُ عَلى الإِنْسَانِ مَا دَامَ حَيًّا؟ 2 فَالـمَرْأَةُ الـمُتَزَوِّجَةُ تَرْبُطُهَا الشَّرِيعَةُ بِزَوجِهَا مَا دَامَ حَيًّا، ولـكِنْ إِذَا مَاتَ زَوجُهَا، أُعْتِقَتْ مِنَ الشَّرِيعَةِ الَّتي تَرْبُطُهَا بِهِ. 3 فَإِنْ صَارَتْ لِرَجُلٍ آخَر، وَزَوْجُهَا حَيّ، تُدْعَى زَانِيَة. وَلـكِنْ إِذَا مَاتَ زَوجُهَا فَهِيَ حُرَّةٌ مِنَ الشَّرِيعَة، ولا تَكُونُ زَانِيَة إِنْ صَارَتْ لِرَجُلٍ آخَر. 4 هـكَذَا أَنْتُم أَيْضًا يَا إِخْوَتي، قَدْ مُتُّم عَنِ الشَّرِيعَةِ بِجَسَدِ الـمَسِيح، لِكَي تَصِيرُوا لآخَر، وهُوَ الَّذي أُقِيمَ مِنْ بَينِ الأَمْوَات، حتَّى نُثْمِرَ لله. 5 فعِنْدَمَا كُنَّا أُنَاسًا جَسَدِييِّن، كَانَتْ أَهْوَاءُ الـخَطايَا تَغْتَنِمُ الشَّرِيعَةَ لِتَعْمَلَ في أَعْضَائِنَا، حتَّى نُثْمِرَ لِلمَوت. 6 أَمَّا الآنَ فقَدْ أُعْتِقْنَا مِنَ الشَّرِيعَة، لأَنَّنَا مُتْنَا عَمَّا كَانَ يَأْسُرُنَا، حتَّى نَعْبُدَ اللهَ في نِظَامِ الرُّوحِ الـجَدِيد، لا في نِظَامِ الـحَرفِ العَتِيق.
Evangile Arabic	5 فَأَتَى إِلى مَدِينَةٍ مِنَ السَّامِرَةِ يُقَالُ لَهَا سُوخَار، عَلى مَقْرُبَةٍ مِنَ الأَرْضِ الَّتِي أَعْطَاهَا يَعْقُوبُ لابْنِهِ يُوسُف، 6 وفِيها نَبْعُ يَعْقُوب. وكَانَ يَسُوعُ قَدْ تَعِبَ مِنَ الـمَسِير، فَجَلَسَ عِنْدَ النَّبْع، وكَانَتِ السَّاعَةُ نَحْوَ الظُّهْر. 7 وجَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ مِنَ السَّامِرَةِ لِتَسْتَقِيَ مَاء، فقَالَ لَهَا يَسُوع: "أَعْطينِي لأَشْرَب"؛ 9 فقَالَتْ لَهُ الـمَرْأَةُ السَّامِريَّة: "كَيْفَ تَطْلُبُ مِنِّي أَنْ تَشْرَب، وأَنْتَ يَهُودِيّ، وأَنَا امْرَأَةٌ سَامِرِيَّة؟". قَالَتْ هـذَا، لأَنَّ اليَهُودَ لا يُخَالِطُونَ السَّامِريِّين. 10 أَجَابَ يَسُوعُ وقَالَ لَهَا: "لَو كُنْتِ تَعْرِفِينَ عَطِيَّةَ الله، ومَنِ القَائِلُ لَكِ: أَعْطينِي لأَشْرَب، لَطَلَبْتِ أَنْتِ مِنْهُ فَأَعْطَاكِ مَاءً حَيًّا". 11 قَالَتْ لَهُ الـمَرْأَة: "يَا سَيِّد، لا دَلْوَ مَعَكَ، والبِئْرُ عَمِيقَة، فَمِنْ أَيْنَ لَكَ الـمَاءُ الـحَيّ؟ 12 هَلْ أَنْتَ أَعْظَمُ مِنْ أَبِينَا يَعْقُوب، الَّذي أَعْطَانَا هـذِهِ البِئْر، ومِنْهَا شَرِبَ هُوَ وبَنُوهُ ومَاشِيَتُهُ؟". 13 أَجَابَ يَسُوعُ وقَالَ لَهَا: "كُلُّ مَنْ يَشْرَبُ مِنْ هـذَا الـمَاءِ يَعْطَشُ مِنْ جَدِيد. 14 أَمَّا مَنْ يَشْرَبُ مِنَ الـمَاءِ الَّذي أُعْطِيهِ أَنَا إِيَّاه، فَلَنْ يَعْطَشَ إِلى الأَبَد، بَلِ الـمَاءُ الَّذي أُعْطِيهِ إِيَّاهُ يَصِيرُ فيهِ نَبْعَ مَاءٍ يَتَفَجَّرُ حَيَاةً أَبَدِيَّة". 15 قَالَتْ لَهُ الـمَرْأَة: "يَا سَيِّد، أَعْطِنِي هـذَا الـمَاء، حَتَّى لا أَعْطَش، ولا أَعُودَ إِلى هُنَا لأَسْتَقِي". 16 قَالَ لَهَا: "إِذْهَبِي، وادْعِي زَوْجَكِ، وعُودِي إِلى هُنَا". 17 أَجَابَتِ الـمَرْأَةُ وقَالَتْ لَهُ: "لا زَوْجَ لِي". قَالَ لَهَا يَسُوع: "حَسَنًا قُلْتِ: لا زَوْجَ لِي. 18 فَقَدْ كَانَ لَكِ خَمْسَةُ أَزْوَاج، والَّذي لَكِ الآنَ لَيْسَ هُوَ زَوْجَكِ. صَدَقْتِ في مَا قُلْتِ". 19 قَالَتْ لَهُ الـمَرْأَة: "يَا سَيِّد، أَرَى أَنَّكَ نَبِيّ. 20 آبَاؤُنَا سَجَدُوا في هـذَا الـجَبَل، وأَنْتُم تَقُولُون: إِنَّ الـمَكَانَ الَّذي فَيهِ يَجِبُ السُّجُودُ هُوَ في أُورَشَلِيم". 21 قَالَ لَهَا يَسُوع: "صَدِّقِينِي، يَا امْرَأَة. تَأْتِي سَاعَةٌ، فِيهَا تَسْجُدُونَ لِلآب، لا في هـذَا الـجَبَل، ولا في أُورَشَلِيم. 22 أَنْتُم تَسْجُدُونَ لِمَا لا تَعْلَمُون، ونَحْنُ نَسْجُدُ لِمَا نَعْلَم، لأَنَّ الخَلاصَ هُوَ مِنَ اليَهُود. 23 ولـكِنْ تَأْتِي سَاعَة، وهِيَ الآن، فِيهَا السَّاجِدُونَ الـحَقِيقِيُّونَ يَسْجُدُونَ لِلآبِ بِالرُّوحِ والـحَقّ. فَعَلى مِثَالِ هـؤُلاءِ يُريدُ الآبُ السَّاجِدينَ لَهُ. 24 أَللهُ رُوح، وعَلى السَّاجِدِينَ لَهُ أَنْ يَسْجُدُوا بِالرُّوحِ والـحَقّ". 25 قَالَتْ لَهُ الـمَرْأَة: "أَنَا أَعْلَمُ أَنَّ مَشِيحَا، أَيِ الـمَسِيح، آتٍ؛ وعِنْدَمَا يَأْتِي فَهُوَ يُخْبِرُنَا بِكُلِّ شَيء". 26 قَالَ لَهَا يَسُوع: "أَنَا هُوَ، أَنَا الـمُتَكَلِّمُ مَعَكِ".

Lecture French	01 Ne le savez-vous pas, frères – je parle à des gens qui s’y connaissent en matière de loi – : la loi n’a de pouvoir sur un être humain que durant sa vie. 02 Ainsi, la femme mariée est liée par la loi à son mari s’il est vivant ; mais si le mari est mort, elle est dégagée de la loi du mari. 03 Donc, du vivant de son mari, on la traitera d’adultère si elle appartient à un autre homme ; mais si le mari est mort, elle est libre à l’égard de la loi, si bien qu’elle ne sera pas adultère en appartenant à un autre. 04 De même, mes frères, vous aussi, vous avez été mis à mort par rapport à la loi de Moïse en raison du corps crucifié du Christ, pour que vous apparteniez à un autre, Celui qui est ressuscité d’entre les morts, afin que nous portions des fruits pour Dieu. 05 En effet, quand nous étions encore des êtres charnels, les passions coupables provoquées par la Loi agissaient dans tous nos membres, pour nous faire porter des fruits de mort. 06 Mais maintenant, nous avons été dégagés de la Loi, étant morts à ce qui nous entravait ; ainsi, nous pouvons servir d’une façon nouvelle, celle de l’Esprit, et non plus à la façon ancienne, celle de la lettre de la Loi.
Evangile French	05 Il arrive donc à une ville de Samarie, appelée Sykar, près du terrain que Jacob avait donné à son fils Joseph. 06 Là se trouvait le puits de Jacob. Jésus, fatigué par la route, s’était donc assis près de la source. C’était la sixième heure, environ midi. 07 Arrive une femme de Samarie, qui venait puiser de l’eau. Jésus lui dit : « Donne-moi à boire. » 09 La Samaritaine lui dit : « Comment ! Toi, un Juif, tu me demandes à boire, à moi, une Samaritaine ? » – En effet, les Juifs ne fréquentent pas les Samaritains. 10 Jésus lui répondit : « Si tu savais le don de Dieu et qui est celui qui te dit : “Donne-moi à boire”, c’est toi qui lui aurais demandé, et il t’aurait donné de l’eau vive. » 11 Elle lui dit : « Seigneur, tu n’as rien pour puiser, et le puits est profond. D’où as-tu donc cette eau vive ? 12 Serais-tu plus grand que notre père Jacob qui nous a donné ce puits, et qui en a bu lui-même, avec ses fils et ses bêtes ? » 13 Jésus lui répondit : « Quiconque boit de cette eau aura de nouveau soif ; 14 mais celui qui boira de l’eau que moi je lui donnerai n’aura plus jamais soif ; et l’eau que je lui donnerai deviendra en lui une source d’eau jaillissant pour la vie éternelle. » 15 La femme lui dit : « Seigneur, donne-moi de cette eau, que je n’aie plus soif, et que je n’aie plus à venir ici pour puiser. » 16 Jésus lui dit : « Va, appelle ton mari, et reviens. » 17 La femme répliqua : « Je n’ai pas de mari. » Jésus reprit : « Tu as raison de dire que tu n’as pas de mari : 18 des maris, tu en as eu cinq, et celui que tu as maintenant n’est pas ton mari ; là, tu dis vrai. » 19 La femme lui dit : « Seigneur, je vois que tu es un prophète !... 20 Eh bien ! Nos pères ont adoré sur la montagne qui est là, et vous, les Juifs, vous dites que le lieu où il faut adorer est à Jérusalem. » 21 Jésus lui dit : « Femme, crois-moi : l’heure vient où vous n’irez plus ni sur cette montagne ni à Jérusalem pour adorer le Père. 22 Vous, vous adorez ce que vous ne connaissez pas ; nous, nous adorons ce que nous connaissons, car le salut vient des Juifs. 23 Mais l’heure vient – et c’est maintenant – où les vrais adorateurs adoreront le Père en esprit et vérité : tels sont les adorateurs que recherche le Père. 24 Dieu est esprit, et ceux qui l’adorent, c’est en esprit et vérité qu’ils doivent l’adorer. » 25 La femme lui dit : « Je sais qu’il vient, le Messie, celui qu’on appelle Christ. Quand il viendra, c’est lui qui nous fera connaître toutes choses. » 26 Jésus lui dit : « Je le suis, moi qui te parle. »

Lecture English	1 Are you unaware, brothers (for I am speaking to people who know the law), that the law has jurisdiction over one as long as one lives? 2 Thus a married woman is bound by law to her living husband; but if her husband dies, she is released from the law in respect to her husband.a 3 Consequently, while her husband is alive she will be called an adulteress if she consorts with another man. But if her husband dies she is free from that law, and she is not an adulteress if she consorts with another man. 4 In the same way, my brothers, you also were put to death to the law through the body of Christ, so that you might belong to another, to the one who was raised from the dead in order that we might bear fruit for God. 5 For when we were in the flesh, our sinful passions, awakened by the law, worked in our members to bear fruit for death.b 6 But now we are released from the law, dead to what held us captive, so that we may serve in the newness of the spirit and not under the obsolete letter.c
Evangile English	5 So he came to a town of Samaria called Sychar,* near the plot of land that Jacob had given to his son Joseph.a 6 Jacob’s well was there. Jesus, tired from his journey, sat down there at the well. It was about noon. 7 A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give me a drink.” 9 * The Samaritan woman said to him, “How can you, a Jew, ask me, a Samaritan woman, for a drink?”b (For Jews use nothing in common with Samaritans.) 10 * Jesus answered and said to her,c “If you knew the gift of God and who is saying to you, ‘Give me a drink,’ you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.” 11 [The woman] said to him, “Sir,* you do not even have a bucket and the well is deep; where then can you get this living water? 12 Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us this well and drank from it himself with his children and his flocks?”d 13 Jesus answered and said to her, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again; 14 but whoever drinks the water I shall give will never thirst; the water I shall give will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”e 15 The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water, so that I may not be thirsty or have to keep coming here to draw water.” 16 Jesus said to her, “Go call your husband and come back.” 17 The woman answered and said to him, “I do not have a husband.” Jesus answered her, “You are right in saying, ‘I do not have a husband.’ 18 For you have had five husbands, and the one you have now is not your husband. What you have said is true.”f 19 The woman said to him, “Sir, I can see that you are a prophet.g 20 Our ancestors worshiped on this mountain;* but you people say that the place to worship is in Jerusalem.”h 21 Jesus said to her, “Believe me, woman, the hour is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. 22 You people worship what you do not understand; we worship what we understand, because salvation is from the Jews.i 23 But the hour is coming, and is now here, when true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and truth;* and indeed the Father seeks such people to worship him. 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship him must worship in Spirit and truth.”j 25 * The woman said to him, “I know that the Messiah is coming,k the one called the Anointed; when he comes, he will tell us everything.” 26 Jesus said to her, “I am he,* the one who is speaking with you.”l
