Lecture Arabic	7 إِذًا فَمَاذَا نَقُول؟ هَلِ الشَّرِيعَةُ خَطِيئَة؟ حَاشَا! لـكِنِّي مَا عَرَفْتُ الـخَطِيئَةَ إِلاَّ بِوَاسِطَةِ الشَّرِيعَة. فإِنِّي مَا عَرَفْتُ الشَّهْوَةَ لَو لَمْ تَقُلِ الشَّرِيعَة :"لاتَشْتَهِ!". 8 واغْتَنَمَتِ الـخَطِيئَةُ الفُرْصَةَ مِنَ الوَصِيَّة، فأَثَارَتْ فِيَّ كُلَّ شَهْوَة، لأَنَّ الـخَطِيئَةَ بِدُونِ الشَّرِيعَةِ مَيْتَة. 9 أَمَّا أَنَا فَكُنْتُ حَيًّا مِنْ قَبْلُ بِدُونِ الشَّرِيعَة. ولَمَّا جَاءَتِ الوَصِيَّةُ عَاشَتِ الـخَطِيئَة، 10 ومُتُّ أَنَا، والوَصِيَّةُ الَّتي هِيَ لِلحَيَاة، صَارَتْ لي هيَ نَفسُهَا لِلمَوت؛ 11 لأَنَّ الـخَطِيئَةَ اغْتَنَمَتِ الفُرْصَةَ مِنَ الوَصِيَّةِ فأَغْوَتْنِي، وبالوَصِيَّةِ قَتَلَتْنِي. 12 إِذًا فَالشَّرِيعَةُ مُقَدَّسَة، والوَصِيَّةُ مُقَدَّسَةٌ وعَادِلَةٌ وَصَالِحَة. 13 إِذًا فَهَل صَارَ لِيَ الصَّالِحُ مَوْتًا؟ حَاشَا ! إِلاَّ أَنَّ الـخَطِيئَة، لِكَيْ تَظْهَرَ خَطيئَة، إسْتَعْمَلَتِ الصَّالِحَ فَعَمِلَتْ فِيَّ مَوْتًا، حتَّى بَلَغَتِ الـخَطيئَةُ بِوَاسِطَةِ الوَصِيَّةِ أَقْصَى حُدُودِ الـخَطيئَة.
Evangile Arabic	31 فِي أَثْنَاءِ ذـلِكَ، كَانَ التَّلامِيذُ يَطْلُبُونَ مِنْهُ قَائِلين: "رابِّي، كُلْ". 32 فَقَالَ لَهُم: "أَنَا لِي طَعَامٌ آكُلُهُ وأَنْتُم لا تَعْرِفُونَهُ". 33 فقَالَ التَّلامِيذُ بَعضُهُم لِبَعض: "هَلْ جَاءَهُ أَحَدٌ بِمَا يَأْكُلُهُ؟". 34 قَالَ لَهُم يَسُوع: "طَعَامِي أَنْ أَعْمَلَ مَشِيئَةِ مَنْ أَرْسَلَنِي، وأَنْ أُتِمَّ عَمَلَهُ. 35 أَمَا تَقُولُونَ أَنْتُم: هِيَ أَرْبَعَةُ أَشْهُرٍ وَيَحِينُ الـحِصَاد؟ وهَا أَنَا أَقُولُ لَكُم: إِرْفَعُوا عُيُونَكُم وانْظُرُوا الـحُقُولَ إِنَّهَا قَدِ ابيَضَّتْ لِلحِصَاد. 36 أَلـحَاصِدُ يَأْخُذُ أُجْرَة، ويَجْمَعُ ثَمَرًا لِحَيَاةٍ أَبَدِيَّة، لِكَي يَفْرَحَ الزَّارِعُ والـحَاصِدُ مَعًا. 37 فيَصْدُقُ القَوْل: وَاحِدٌ يَزْرَعُ وآخَرُ يَحْصُد. 38 أَنَا أَرْسَلْتُكُم لِتَحْصُدُوا مَا لَمْ تَتْعَبُوا أَنْتُم فِيه. آخَرُون تَعِبُوا، وأَنْتُم في تَعَبِهِم دَخَلْتُم".

Lecture French	07 Que dire alors ? La Loi est-elle péché ? Pas du tout ! Mais je n’aurais pas connu le péché s’il n’y avait pas eu la Loi ; en effet, j’aurais ignoré la convoitise si la Loi n’avait pas dit : Tu ne convoiteras pas. 08 Se servant de ce commandement, le péché a saisi l’occasion : il a produit en moi toutes sortes de convoitises. Sans la Loi, en effet, le péché est chose morte, 09 et moi, jadis, sans la Loi, je vivais ; mais quand le commandement est venu, le péché est devenu vivant, 10 et pour moi ce fut la mort. Il se trouve donc que, pour moi, ce commandement qui devait mener à la vie a mené à la mort. 11 En effet, le péché a saisi l’occasion ; en se servant du commandement, il m’a séduit et, par lui, il m’a tué. 12 Ainsi, la Loi est sainte ; le commandement est saint, juste et bon. 13 Est-ce donc quelque chose de bon qui, pour moi, a été la mort ? Pas du tout : c’est le péché ! Pour qu’on voie bien qu’il est le péché, il s’est servi de quelque chose de bon pour causer ma mort ; ainsi, par le commandement, c’est le péché lui-même qui est devenu démesurément pécheur.
Evangile French	31 Entre-temps, les disciples l’appelaient : « Rabbi, viens manger. » 32 Mais il répondit : « Pour moi, j’ai de quoi manger : c’est une nourriture que vous ne connaissez pas. » 33 Les disciples se disaient entre eux : « Quelqu’un lui aurait-il apporté à manger ? » 34 Jésus leur dit : « Ma nourriture, c’est de faire la volonté de Celui qui m’a envoyé et d’accomplir son œuvre. 35 Ne dites-vous pas : “Encore quatre mois et ce sera la moisson” ? Et moi, je vous dis : Levez les yeux et regardez les champs déjà dorés pour la moisson. Dès maintenant, 36 le moissonneur reçoit son salaire : il récolte du fruit pour la vie éternelle, si bien que le semeur se réjouit en même temps que le moissonneur. 37 Il est bien vrai, le dicton : “L’un sème, l’autre moissonne.” 38 Je vous ai envoyés moissonner ce qui ne vous a coûté aucun effort ; d’autres ont fait l’effort, et vous en avez bénéficié. »

Lecture English	7 * What then can we say? That the law is sin? Of course not!* Yet I did not know sin except through the law, and I did not know what it is to covet except that the law said, “You shall not covet.”d 8 But sin, finding an opportunity in the commandment, produced in me every kind of covetousness. Apart from the law sin is dead.e 9 I once lived outside the law, but when the commandment came, sin became alive; 10 then I died, and the commandment that was for life turned out to be death for me.f 11 For sin, seizing an opportunity in the commandment, deceived me and through it put me to death.g 12 So then the law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good.h Sin and Death.* 13 Did the good, then, become death for me? Of course not! Sin, in order that it might be shown to be sin, worked death in me through the good, so that sin might become sinful beyond measure through the commandment.i
Evangile English	31 Meanwhile, the disciples urged him, “Rabbi, eat.” 32 But he said to them, “I have food to eat of which you do not know.” 33 So the disciples said to one another, “Could someone have brought him something to eat?” 34 Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of the one who sent me and to finish his work.m 35 Do you not say, ‘In four months* the harvest will be here’? I tell you, look up and see the fields ripe for the harvest.n 36 The reaper is already* receiving his payment and gathering crops for eternal life, so that the sower and reaper can rejoice together.o 37 For here the saying is verified that ‘One sows and another reaps.’p 38 I sent you to reap what you have not worked for; others have done the work, and you are sharing the fruits of their work.”
