Lecture Arabic	9 صادِقَةٌ هيَ الكَلِمَةُ وجَدِيرَةٌ بِكُلِّ قَبُول: 10 إِنْ كُنَّا نَتْعَبُ ونُجَاهِد، فذـلِكَ لأَنَّنَا جَعَلْنَا رجَاءَنا في اللهِ الـحَيّ، الـَّذي هُوَ مُخلِّصُ الـنَّاس أَجْمَعِين، ولا سِيَّمَا الـمُؤْمِنِين. 11 فأَوْصِ بِذـلكَ وعَلِّمْهُ. 12 ولا تَدَعْ أَحَدًا يَسْتَهِينُ بِحَداثَةِ سِنِّكَ، بَلْ كُنْ مِثَالاً للمُؤْمِنِين، بِالكَلام، والسِّيرَة، والـمَحَبَّة، والإِيْمَان، والعَفَاف. 13 وَاظِبْ عَلى إِعْلانِ الكَلِمَةِ والوَعْظِ والتَّعْلِيم، إِلى أَنْ أَجِيء. 14 لا تُهْمِلِ الـمَوْهِبَةَ الَّتي فِيك، وقَد وُهِبَتْ لَكَ بالنُّبُوءَةِ معَ وَضْعِ أَيْدِي الشُّيُوخِ عَلَيك. 15 إِهْتَمَّ بِتِلْكَ الأُمُور، وكُنْ مُواظِبًا عَلَيهَا، لِيَكُونَ تَقَدُّمُكَ واضِحًا لِلجَمِيع. 16 إِنْتَبِهْ لِنَفْسِكَ وَلِتَعْلِيمِكَ، وَاثْبُتْ في ذـلِك. فإِذا فَعَلْتَ خَلَّصْتَ نَفسَكَ والَّذِينَ يَسْمَعُونَكَ.
Evangile Arabic	21 وعَادَ يَسُوعُ يَقُولُ لَهُم: "أَنَا أَمْضِي، وتَطْلُبُونِي وتَمُوتُونَ في خَطِيئَتِكُم. حَيْثُ أَنَا أَمْضِي لا تَقْدِرُونَ أَنْتُم أَنْ تَأْتُوا". 22 فَأَخَذَ اليَهُودُ يَقُولُون: "أَتُراهُ يَقْتُلُ نَفْسَهُ؟ فَإِنَّهُ يَقُول: حَيْثُ أَنَا أَمْضِي لا تَقْدِرُونَ أَنْتُم أَنْ تَأْتُوا!". 23 ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُم: "أَنْتُم مِنْ أَسْفَل، وأَنَا مِنْ فَوْق. أَنْتُم مِنْ هـذَا العَالَم، وأَنَا لَسْتُ مِنْ هـذَا العَالَم. 24 لِذـلِكَ قُلْتُ لَكُم: سَتَمُوتُونَ في خَطَايَاكُم. أَجَل، إِنْ لَمْ تُؤْمِنُوا أَنِّي أَنَا هُوَ تَمُوتُوا فِي خَطَايَاكُم". 25 فَقَالُوا لَهُ: "أَنْتَ، مَنْ أَنْت؟". قَالَ لَهُم يَسُوع: "أَنَا هُوَ مَا أَقُولُهُ لَكُم مُنْذُ البَدء. 26 لِي كَلامٌ كَثِيرٌ أَقُولُهُ فِيكُم وأَدِينُكُم. لـكِنَّ الَّذي أَرْسَلَنِي صَادِق. ومَا سَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْهُ، فَهـذَا أَقُولُهُ لِلْعَالَم". 27 ولَمْ يَعْرِفُوا أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُحَدِّثُهُم عَنِ الآب.

Lecture French	09 Voilà une parole digne de foi, et qui mérite d’être accueillie sans réserve : 10 si nous nous donnons de la peine et si nous combattons, c’est parce que nous avons mis notre espérance dans le Dieu vivant, qui est le Sauveur de tous les hommes et, au plus haut point, des croyants. 11 Voilà ce que tu dois prescrire et enseigner. 12 Que personne n’ait lieu de te mépriser parce que tu es jeune ; au contraire, sois pour les croyants un modèle par ta parole et ta conduite, par ta charité, ta foi et ta pureté. 13 En attendant que je vienne, applique-toi à lire l’Écriture aux fidèles, à les encourager et à les instruire. 14 Ne néglige pas le don de la grâce en toi, qui t’a été donné au moyen d’une parole prophétique, quand le collège des Anciens a imposé les mains sur toi. 15 Prends à cœur tout cela, applique-toi, afin que tous voient tes progrès. 16 Veille sur toi-même et sur ton enseignement. Maintiens-toi dans ces dispositions. En agissant ainsi, tu obtiendras le salut, et pour toi-même et pour ceux qui t’écoutent.
Evangile French	21 Jésus leur dit encore : « Je m’en vais ; vous me chercherez, et vous mourrez dans votre péché. Là où moi je vais, vous ne pouvez pas aller. » 22 Les Juifs disaient : « Veut-il donc se donner la mort, puisqu’il dit : “Là où moi je vais, vous ne pouvez pas aller” ? » 23 Il leur répondit : « Vous, vous êtes d’en bas ; moi, je suis d’en haut. Vous, vous êtes de ce monde ; moi, je ne suis pas de ce monde. 24 C’est pourquoi je vous ai dit que vous mourrez dans vos péchés. En effet, si vous ne croyez pas que moi, JE SUIS, vous mourrez dans vos péchés. » 25 Alors, ils lui demandaient : « Toi, qui es-tu ? » Jésus leur répondit : « Je n’ai pas cessé de vous le dire. 26 À votre sujet, j’ai beaucoup à dire et à juger. D’ailleurs Celui qui m’a envoyé dit la vérité, et ce que j’ai entendu de lui, je le dis pour le monde. » 27 Ils ne comprirent pas qu’il leur parlait du Père.

Lecture English	9 This saying is trustworthy and deserves full acceptance.f 10 For this we toil and struggle,* because we have set our hope on the living God, who is the savior of all, especially of those who believe.g 11 * Command and teach these things. 12 Let no one have contempt for your youth,* but set an example for those who believe, in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity.h 13 Until I arrive, attend to the reading,* exhortation, and teaching. 14 Do not neglect the gift you have, which was conferred on you through the prophetic word* with the imposition of hands of the presbyterate.i 15 Be diligent in these matters, be absorbed in them, so that your progress may be evident to everyone. 16 Attend to yourself and to your teaching; persevere in both tasks, for by doing so you will save both yourself and those who listen to you.
Evangile English	21 He said to them again, “I am going away and you will look for me, but you will die in your sin.* Where I am going you cannot come.”n 22 * So the Jews said, “He is not going to kill himself, is he, because he said, ‘Where I am going you cannot come’?” 23 He said to them, “You belong to what is below, I belong to what is above. You belong to this world, but I do not belong to this world.o 24 That is why I told you that you will die in your sins. For if you do not believe that I AM,* you will die in your sins.”p 25 * So they said to him, “Who are you?”q Jesus said to them, “What I told you from the beginning. 26 I have much to say about you in condemnation. But the one who sent me is true, and what I heard from him I tell the world.”r 27 They did not realize that he was speaking to them of the Father.
