Lecture Arabic	1 أَمَّا في شَأْنِ خِدمَةِ الإِعَانَاتِ لِلقِدِّيسِين، فلَيْسَ منَ الضَرُورِيِّ أَنْ أَكْتُبَ إِلَيْكُم؛ 5 إِذًا فقَد رَأَيْتُ مِنَ الضَّرُورِيِّ أَنْ أَطْلُبَ مِنَ الإِخْوَةِ أَنْ يَسْبِقُونِي إِلَيْكُم، فَيُرَتِّبُوا تَقْدِمَاتِ بَرَكَتِكُمُ الَّتي وَعَدْتُم بِهَا، لِتَكُونَ مُهَيَّأَةً لا كَتَقْدِمَةِ بُخْلٍ بَلْ كَبَرَكَة! 6 واعْلَمُوا هـذَا أَنَّ مَنْ يَزْرَعُ في الشِّحّ، في الشِّحِّ أَيْضًا يَحْصُد، ومَنْ يَزْرَعُ في البَرَكَات، في البَرَكَاتِ أَيضًا يَحْصُد. 7 فَلْيُعْطِ كُلُّ واحِد، كَما نَوَى في قَلْبِهِ، بِلا أَسَفٍ ولا إِكْرَاه، لأَنَّ اللهَ يُحِبُّ الـمُعْطِيَ الفَرْحَان. 8 واللهُ قَادِرٌ أَنْ يَغْمُرَكُم بِكُلِّ نِعْمَة، حَتَّى يَكُونَ لَكُم في كُلِّ شَيءٍ وفي كُلِّ حِينٍ كُلُّ مَا يَكْفِيكُم، فَتَفِيضُوا بِكُلِّ عَمَلٍ صَالِح، 9 كَمَا هوَ مَكْتُوب: "وزَّعَ وأَعْطَى الـمَسَاكِين، فَبِرُّهُ دَائِمٌ إِلى الأَبَد". 10 والَّذي يَرزُقُ الزَّارِعَ زَرْعًا، وخُبْزًا يَقُوتُهُ، هُوَ يَرزُقُكُم ويُكَثِّرُ زَرْعَكُم، ويَزِيدُ ثِمَارَ بِرِّكُم! 11 فَتَغْتَنُونَ في كُلِّ شَيء، لِيَكُونَ سَخَاؤُكُم كَامِلاً ويُثْمِرَ عَلى يَدِنَا فِعْلَ شُكْرٍلله؛ 12 لأَنَّ قِيَامَكُم بِهـذِهِ الـخِدْمَةِ الـمُقَدَّسَةِ لا يَسُدُّ عَوَزَ القِدِّيسِينَ فَحَسْب، بَلْ أَيْضًا يُفيضُ فيهِم أَفْعَالَ شُّكْرٍ لله. 13 فإِنَّهُم سَيُقَدِّرُونَ خِدْمَتَكُم هـذِهِ، فَيُمَجِّدُونَ اللهَ عَلى طَاعَتِكُم و اعْتِرَافِكُم بإِنْجِيلِ الـمَسِيح، وعَلى سَخَائِكُم في مُشَارَكَتِكُم لَهُم وَلِلْجَميع. 14 وهُم يَتَشَوَّقُونَ إِلَيْكُم رَافِعِينَ الدُّعَاءَ مِنْ أَجْلِكُم، بِسَبَبِ نِعْمَةِ اللهِ الفائِقَةِ الَّتي أَفَاضَهَا عَلَيْكُم. 15 فَالشُّكْرُ للهِ عَلى عَطِيَّتِهِ الَّتِي لا وَصْفَ لَهَا!
Evangile Arabic	37 وفي اليَوْمِ التَّالي، فيمَا هُم نَازِلُونَ مِنَ الـجَبَل، لاقَاهُ جَمْعٌ كَثِير. 38 وإِذا رَجُلٌ مِنَ الـجَمْعِ صَرَخَ قَائِلاً: "يا مُعَلِّم، أَرْجُوك، أُنْظُرْ إِلَى ابْنِي، لأَنَّهُ وَحيدٌ لي! 39 وهَا إِنَّ رُوحًا يُمْسِكُ بِهِ فَيَصْرُخُ بَغْتَةً، وَيَهُزُّهُ بِعُنْفٍ فَيُزْبِد، وَبِجَهْدٍ يُفارِقُهُ وهُوَ يُرضِّضُهُ. 40 وقَدْ رَجَوْتُ تَلامِيذَكَ أَنْ يُخْرِجُوهُ، فَلَمْ يَقْدِرُوا!". 41 فَأَجَابَ يَسُوعُ وقَال: "أَيُّهَا الـجِيلُ الـمُلْتَوِي غَيرُ الـمُؤْمِن، إِلى مَتَى أَكُونُ مَعَكُم وَأَحْتَمِلُكُم؟ قَدِّمِ ابْنَكَ إِلى هُنَا". 42 ومَا إِنِ اقْتَرَبَ الصَّبِيُّ حَتَّى صَرَعَهُ الشَّيْطَان، وَهَزَّهُ بِعُنْف. فَزَجَرَ يَسُوعُ الرُّوحَ النَّجِس، وأَبْرَأَ الصَّبِيّ، وَسَلَّمَهُ إِلى أَبِيه. 43 فَبُهِتَ الـجَمِيعُ مِنْ عَظَمَةِ الله. وفِيمَا كَانُوا جَمِيعًا مُتَعَجِّبِينَ مِنَ كُلِّ مَا كَانَ يَعْمَلُهُ يَسُوع، قالَ لِتَلامِيذِهِ: 44 "وَأَنْتُمُ اجْعَلُوا هـذَا الكَلامَ في مَسَامِعِكُم: فَابْنُ الإِنْسَانِ سَوْفَ يُسْلَمُ إِلَى أَيْدِي النَّاس". 45 أَمَّا هُم فَمَا كَانُوا يَفْهَمُونَ هـذَا الكَلام، وَقَد أُخْفِيَ عَلَيْهِم لِكَي لا يُدْرِكُوا مَعْنَاه، وَكَانُوا يَخَافُونَ أَنْ يَسْأَلُوهُ عَنْهُ.

Lecture French	01 Au sujet du service destiné aux fidèles de Jérusalem, je n’ai plus besoin de vous écrire, 05 J’ai donc estimé nécessaire d’inviter les frères à nous devancer chez vous, et à organiser d’avance votre largesse, promise depuis longtemps : ainsi, quand elle sera préparée, ce sera une vraie largesse, et non une mesquinerie. 06 Rappelez-vous le proverbe : “À semer trop peu, on récolte trop peu ; à semer largement, on récolte largement”. 07 Que chacun donne comme il a décidé dans son cœur, sans regret et sans contrainte, car Dieu aime celui qui donne joyeusement. 08 Et Dieu est assez puissant pour vous donner toute grâce en abondance, afin que vous ayez, en toute chose et toujours, tout ce qu’il vous faut, et même que vous ayez en abondance de quoi faire toute sorte de bien. 09 L’Écriture dit en effet de l’homme juste : Il distribue, il donne aux pauvres ; sa justice demeure à jamais. 10 Dieu, qui fournit la semence au semeur et le pain pour la nourriture, vous fournira la graine ; il la multipliera, il donnera la croissance à ce que vous accomplirez dans la justice. 11 Il vous rendra riches en générosité de toute sorte, ce qui suscitera notre action de grâce envers Dieu. 12 Car notre collecte est un ministère qui ne comble pas seulement les besoins des fidèles de Jérusalem, mais déborde aussi en une multitude d’actions de grâce envers Dieu. 13 Les fidèles apprécieront ce ministère à sa valeur, et ils rendront gloire à Dieu pour cette soumission avec laquelle vous professez l’Évangile du Christ, et pour la générosité qui vous met en communion avec eux et avec tous. 14 En priant pour vous, ils vous manifesteront leur attachement à cause de la grâce incomparable que Dieu vous a faite. 15 Rendons grâce à Dieu pour le don ineffable qu’il nous fait.
Evangile French	37 Le lendemain, quand ils descendirent de la montagne, une grande foule vint à la rencontre de Jésus. 38 Et voilà qu’un homme, dans la foule, se mit à crier : « Maître, je t’en prie, regarde mon fils, car c’est mon unique enfant, 39 et il arrive qu’un esprit s’empare de lui, pousse tout à coup des cris, le secoue de convulsions et le fait écumer ; il ne s’éloigne de lui qu’à grand-peine en le laissant tout brisé. 40 J’ai prié tes disciples d’expulser cet esprit, mais ils n’ont pas pu le faire. » 41 Prenant la parole, Jésus dit : « Génération incroyante et dévoyée, combien de temps vais-je rester près de vous et vous supporter ? Fais avancer ici ton fils. » 42 À peine l’enfant s’était-il approché que le démon le terrassa et le fit entrer en convulsions. Jésus menaça l’esprit impur, guérit l’enfant et le rendit à son père. 43 Et tous étaient frappés d’étonnement devant la grandeur de Dieu. Comme tout le monde était dans l’admiration devant tout ce qu’il faisait, Jésus dit à ses disciples : 44 « Ouvrez bien vos oreilles à ce que je vous dis maintenant : le Fils de l’homme va être livré aux mains des hommes. » 45 Mais les disciples ne comprenaient pas cette parole, elle leur était voilée, si bien qu’ils n’en percevaient pas le sens, et ils avaient peur de l’interroger sur cette parole.

Lecture English	1 Now about the service to the holy ones, it is superfluous for me to write to you, 5 So I thought it necessary to encourage the brothers to go on ahead to you and arrange in advance for your promised gift, so that in this way it might be ready as a bountiful gift and not as an exaction. 6 Consider this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.b 7 Each must do as already determined, without sadness or compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.c 8 * Moreover, God is able to make every grace abundant for you, so that in all things, always having all you need, you may have an abundance for every good work. 9 As it is written: “He scatters abroad, he gives to the poor; his righteousness endures forever.”d 10 The one who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed and increase the harvest of your righteousness.e 11 * You are being enriched in every way for all generosity, which through us produces thanksgiving to God, 12 for the administration of this public service is not only supplying the needs of the holy ones but is also overflowing in many acts of thanksgiving to God. 13 Through the evidence of this service, you are glorifying God for your obedient confession of the gospel of Christ and the generosity of your contribution to them and to all others,f 14 while in prayer on your behalf they long for you, because of the surpassing grace of God upon you. 15 Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!g
Evangile English	37 u On the next day, when they came down from the mountain, a large crowd met him. 38 There was a man in the crowd who cried out, “Teacher, I beg you, look at my son; he is my only child. 39 For a spirit seizes him and he suddenly screams and it convulses him until he foams at the mouth; it releases him only with difficulty, wearing him out. 40 I begged your disciples to cast it out but they could not.” 41 Jesus said in reply, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long will I be with you and endure you? Bring your son here.” 42 As he was coming forward, the demon threw him to the ground in a convulsion; but Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, healed the boy, and returned him to his father. 43 And all were astonished by the majesty of God. The Second Prediction of the Passion.v While they were all amazed at his every deed, he said to his disciples, 44 “Pay attention to what I am telling you. The Son of Man is to be handed over to men.” 45 But they did not understand this saying; its meaning was hidden from them so that they should not understand it, and they were afraid to ask him about this saying.
