Lecture Arabic	1 وَاعْلَمْ هـذا: إِنَّهَا سَتَأْتي في الأَيَّامِ الأَخِيرَةِ أَوقَاتٌ صَعْبَة، 2 فيَكُونُ النَّاسُ مُحِبِّينَ لأَنْفُسِهِم، مُحِبِّينَ لِلمَال، مُدَّعِين، مُتَكَبِّرِين، مُجَدِّفِين، عَاقِّينَ لِلوالِدِين، نَاكِرِينَ لِلجَمِيل، مُنْتَهِكِينَ لِلحُرُمَات، 3 بِلا حَنَان، بلا وَفَاء، مُفْتِنِين، نَهِمِين، شَرِسِين، مُبْغِضِينَ لِلصَّلاح، 4 خَائِنِين، وَقِحِين، عُمْيَانا بِالكِبْرِيَاء، مُحِبِّينَ لِلَّذَّةِ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ حُبِّهِم لله، 5 مُتَمَسِّكِينَ بِمَظْهَرِ التَّقْوَى، نَاكِرِينَ قُوَّتَهَا: هـؤُلاءِ النَّاسُ أَعْرِضْ عَنْهُم! 6 فَمِنْهُم مَنْ يَتَسَلَّلُونَ إِلى البُيُوت، ويُغْوُونَ نِسَاءً ضَعيفَاتٍ، مُثْقَلاتٍ بِالْخَطايَا، مُنْقَادَاتٍ لِشَهَواتٍ شَتَّى، 7 يتَعَلَّمْنَ دَائِمًا ولا يُمْكِنُهُنَّ البُلُوغَ إِلى مَعرِفَةِ الـحَقِّ أَبَدًا. 8 وكَمَا أَنَّ يَنِّيسَ ويَمْبَرِيسَ قَاوَمَا مُوسى، كَذـلِكَ هـؤُلاءِ يُقاوِمُونَ الْحَقَّ. إِنَّهُم أُنَاسٌ فَاسِدُو العَقْل، غيرُ أَهْلٍ لِلإِيْمَان. 9 لـكِنَّهُم لَنْ يَتَمَادَوا أَكْثَر، لأَنَّ حَمَاقَتَهُم سَتَنْكَشِفُ لِلجَميعِ كَمَا انْكَشَفَتْ حَمَاقَةُ يَنِّيسَ ويَمْبَرِيس.
Evangile Arabic	1 في ذـلِكَ الوَقْتِ اجْتَازَ يَسُوعُ يَوْمَ الـسَّبتِ بَيْنَ الزُّرُوع. وجَاعَ تَلامِيذُهُ فَأَخَذُوا يَقْلَعُونَ سَنَابِلَ ويَأْكُلُون. 2 ورآهُمُ الفَرِّيسِيُّونَ فَقَالُوا لِيَسُوع: "هُوَذَا تَلامِيذُكَ يَفْعَلُونَ مَا لا يَحِلُّ فِعْلُهُ يَوْمَ السَّبْت". 3 فقَالَ لَهُم: "أَمَا قَرَأْتُم مَا فَعَلَهُ دَاوُدُ حِيْنَ جَاعَ هُوَ والَّذِينَ مَعَهُ؟ 4 كَيْفَ دَخَلَ بَيْتَ الله، وأَكَلُوا خُبْزَ التَّقْدِمَةِ الَّذي لا يَحِلُّ لَهُ أَكْلُهُ، ولا لِلَّذِينَ مَعَهُ، بَلْ لِلْكَهَنَةِ وَحْدَهُم؟ 5 أَوَ مَا قَرَأْتُم في التَّورَاةِ أَنَّ الكَهَنَة، أَيَّامَ السَّبْت، يَنْتَهِكُونَ في الـهَيْكَلِ حُرْمَةَ السَّبْت، ولا ذَنْبَ عَلَيْهِم؟ 6 وأَقُولُ لَكُم: هـهُنا أَعْظَمُ مِنَ الـهَيْكَل! 7 ولَوْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْرِفُونَ مَا مَعْنَى: أُريدُ رَحْمَةً لا ذَبيحَة، لَمَا حَكَمْتُم على مَنْ لا ذنْبَ عَلَيْهِم! 8 فَرَبُّ السَّبْتِ هُوَ ابْنُ الإِنْسَان!". 9 وانْتَقَلَ يَسُوعُ مِنْ هُنَاك، وجَاءَ إِلى مَجْمَعِهِم. 10 وإِذَا بِرَجُلٍ يَدُهُ يَابِسَة، فَسَأَلُوهُ قَائِلين: "هَلْ يَحِلُّ الشِّفَاءُ يَوْمَ السَّبْت؟". وكَانَ مُرَادُهُم أَنْ يَشْكُوه. 11 فقَالَ لَهُم: "أَيُّ رَجُلٍ مِنْكُم يَكُونُ لَهُ خَرُوفٌ وَاحِد، فَإِنْ سَقَطَ يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ في حُفْرَة، أَلا يُمْسِكُهُ ويُقِيمُهُ؟ 12 وكَمِ الإِنْسَانُ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ خَرُوف؟ فَعَمَلُ الـخَيْرِ إِذًا يَحِلُّ يَوْمَ السَّبْت". 13 حِينَئِذٍ قَالَ لِلرَّجُل: "مُدَّ يَدَكَ". ومَدَّهَا فَعَادَتْ صَحِيحَةً كاليَدِ الأُخْرَى. 14 وخَرَجَ الفَرِّيسِيُّونَ فَتَشَاوَرُوا عَلَيْهِ لِيُهْلِكُوه.

Lecture French	01 Sache-le bien : dans les derniers jours surviendront des moments difficiles. 02 En effet, les gens seront égoïstes, cupides, fanfarons, orgueilleux, blasphémateurs, révoltés contre leurs parents, ingrats, sacrilèges, 03 sans cœur, implacables, médisants, incapables de se maîtriser, intraitables, ennemis du bien, 04 traîtres, emportés, aveuglés par l’orgueil, amis du plaisir plutôt que de Dieu ; 05 ils auront des apparences de piété, mais rejetteront ce qui fait sa force. Détourne-toi aussi de ces gens-là ! 06 Parmi eux, il y en a qui s’introduisent dans les maisons et captivent des bonnes femmes chargées de péchés, entraînées par toutes sortes de convoitises, 07 toujours en train d’apprendre et jamais capables de parvenir à la pleine connaissance de la vérité. 08 De la même façon que Jannès et Jambrès se sont opposés à Moïse, ceux-là aussi s’opposent à la vérité ; ces gens ont un esprit corrompu et une foi sans valeur. 09 Cependant ils n’iront pas bien loin, car leur stupidité sera évidente pour tous, comme le fut celle des deux autres.
Evangile French	01 En ce temps-là, un jour de sabbat, Jésus vint à passer à travers les champs de blé, ; ses disciples eurent faim et ils se mirent à arracher des épis et à les manger. 02 Voyant cela, les pharisiens lui dirent : « Voilà que tes disciples font ce qu’il n’est pas permis de faire le jour du sabbat ! » 03 Mais il leur dit : « N’avez-vous pas lu ce que fit David, quand il eut faim, lui et ceux qui l’accompagnaient ? 04 Il entra dans la maison de Dieu, et ils mangèrent les pains de l’offrande ; or, ni lui ni les autres n’avaient le droit d’en manger, mais seulement les prêtres. 05 Ou bien encore, n’avez-vous pas lu dans la Loi que le jour du sabbat, les prêtres, dans le Temple, manquent au repos du sabbat sans commettre de faute ? 06 Or, je vous le dis : il y a ici plus grand que le Temple. 07 Si vous aviez compris ce que signifie : Je veux la miséricorde, non le sacrifice, 08 vous n’auriez pas condamné ceux qui n’ont pas commis de faute. En effet, le Fils de l’homme est maître du sabbat. » 09 Il partit de là et entra dans leur synagogue. 10 Or il s’y trouvait un homme qui avait une main atrophiée. Et l’on demanda à Jésus : « Est-il permis de faire une guérison le jour du sabbat ? » C’était afin de pouvoir l’accuser. 11 Mais il leur dit : « Si l’un d’entre vous possède une seule brebis, et qu’elle tombe dans un trou le jour du sabbat, ne va-t-il pas la saisir pour la faire remonter ? 12 Or, un homme vaut tellement plus qu’une brebis ! Il est donc permis de faire le bien le jour du sabbat. » 13 Alors Jésus dit à l’homme : « Étends la main. » L’homme l’étendit, et elle redevint normale et saine comme l’autre. 14 Une fois sortis, les pharisiens se réunirent en conseil contre Jésus pour voir comment le faire périr.

Lecture English	1 But understand this: there will be terrifying times in the last days.a 2 People will be self-centered and lovers of money, proud, haughty, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, irreligious,b 3 callous, implacable, slanderous, licentious, brutal, hating what is good, 4 traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 as they make a pretense of religion but deny its power. Reject them.c 6 For some of these slip into homes and make captives of women weighed down by sins, led by various desires,d 7 always trying to learn but never able to reach a knowledge of the truth.e 8 Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so they also oppose the truth—people of depraved mind, unqualified in the faith.f 9 But they will not make further progress, for their foolishness will be plain to all, as it was with those two.
Evangile English	1 * At that time Jesus was going through a field of grain on the sabbath.a His disciples were hungry and began to pick the heads* of grain and eat them.b 2 When the Pharisees saw this, they said to him, “See, your disciples are doing what is unlawful to do on the sabbath.” 3 He said to them,* “Have you not read what Davidc did when he and his companions were hungry, 4 how he went into the house of God and ate the bread of offering,d which neither he nor his companions but only the priests could lawfully eat? 5 * Or have you not read in the law that on the sabbath the priests serving in the temple violate the sabbath and are innocent?e 6 I say to you, something greater than the temple is here. 7 * If you knew what this meant, ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice,’f you would not have condemned these innocent men. 8 * g For the Son of Man is Lord of the sabbath.” The Man with a Withered Hand. 9 h Moving on from there, he went into their synagogue. 10 And behold, there was a man there who had a withered hand. They questioned him, “Is it lawful to cure on the sabbath?”* so that they might accuse him. 11 * He said to them, “Which one of you who has a sheep that falls into a pit on the sabbath will not take hold of it and lift it out? 12 How much more valuable a person is than a sheep. So it is lawful to do good on the sabbath.” 13 Then he said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and it was restored as sound as the other. 14 But the Pharisees* went out and took counsel against him to put him to death.i
