Lecture Arabic	1 إِذًا إِنْ كُنْتُم قَدْ قُمْتُم مَعَ الـمَسِيح، فَاطْلُبُوا مَا هُوَ فَوق، حَيْثُ الـمَسِيحُ جَالِسٌ إِلى يَمِينِ الله. 2 إِهْتَمُّوا بِمَا هُوَ فَوق، لا بِمَا هُوَ عَلى الأَرْض، 3 فإِنَّكُم قَدْ مُتُّم، وحَيَاتُكُم مُسْتَتِرَةٌ معَ الـمَسِيحِ في الله. 4 وعِنْدَمَا يَظْهَرُ الـمَسِيح، الَّذي هُوَ حَياتُنَا، فأَنْتُم أَيْضًا سَتَظْهَرُونَ مَعَهُ في الـمَجْد. 5 فأَمِيتُوا إِذًا أَعْضَاءَكُمُ الأَرْضِيَّةَ السَّالِكَةَ في الفُجُور، والنَّجَاسَة، والأَهْوَاء، والشَّهْوَةِ الـخَبِيثَة، والـجَشَعِ الَّذي هُوَ عِبَادَةُ أَوْثَان، 6 فَبِهَا يَنْصَبُّ غَضَبُ اللهِ على أَبْنَاءِ العُصْيَان؛ 7 ومِنْهُم أَنتُم أَيْضًا قَدْ سَلَكْتُم مِنْ قَبْلُ، يَومَ كُنْتُم تَعِيشُونَ فِيهَا. 8 أَمَّا الآنَ فانْبِذُوا أَنْتُم أَيْضًا تِلْكَ الأُمُورَ كُلَّهَا: أَلغَضَب، والسُّخْط، والسُّوء، والتَّجْدِيف، والكَلامَ البَذِيءَ مِن أَفْوَاهِكُم. 9 لا تَكْذِبُوا بَعضُكُم على بَعْض، لأَنَّكُم خَلَعْتُمُ الإِنْسَانَ العَتِيقَ وأَعْمَالَهُ، 10 ولَبِسْتُمُ الإِنْسَانَ الـجَديدَ الَّذي يتَجَدَّدُ لِيَبْلُغَ إِلى تَمَامِ الـمَعْرِفَةِ على صُورَةِ خَالِقِهِ. 11 فلا يُونَانِيٌّ بَعْدُ ولا يَهُودِيّ، لا خِتَانَةٌ ولا عَدَمَ خِتَانَة، لا أَعْجَمِيٌّ ولا إِسْكُوتِيّ، لا عَبْدٌ ولا حُرّ، بَلِ الْمَسِيحُ هُوَ الكُلُّ وفي الكُلّ.
Evangile Arabic	15 وبَعْدَ الغَدَاء، قَالَ يَسُوعُ لِسِمْعَانَ بُطْرُس: "يَا سِمْعَانُ بْنَ يُونَا، أَتُحِبُّنِي أَكْثَرَ مِمَّا يُحِبُّنِي هـؤُلاء؟". قَالَ لَهُ: "نَعَم، يَا رَبّ، أَنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنِّي أُحِبُّكَ". قَالَ لَهُ يَسُوع: "إِرْعَ حُمْلانِي". 16 قَالَ لَهُ مَرَّةً ثَانِيَةً: "يَا سِمْعَانُ بْنَ يُونَا، أَتُحِبُّنِي؟". قَالَ لَهُ: "نَعَمْ يَا رَبّ، أَنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنِّي أُحِبُّكَ". قَالَ لَهُ يَسُوع: "إِرْعَ نِعَاجِي!". 17 قَالَ لَهُ مَرَّةً ثَالِثَة: "يَا سِمْعَانُ بْنَ يُونَا، أَتُحِبُّنِي؟". فَحَزِنَ بُطْرُس، لأَنَّ يَسُوعَ قَالَ لَهُ ثَلاثَ مَرَّات: أَتُحِبُّنِي؟ فَقَالَ لَهُ: "يَا رَبّ، أَنْتَ تَعْلَمُ كُلَّ شَيء، وَأَنْتَ تَعْرِفُ أَنِّي أُحِبُّكَ". قَالَ لَهُ يَسُوع: "إِرْعَ خِرَافِي! 18 أَلـحَقَّ الـحَقَّ أَقُولُ لَكَ: حِينَ كُنْتَ شَابًّا، كُنْتَ تَشُدُّ حِزَامَكَ بِيَدَيْكَ وتَسِيرُ إِلى حَيْثُ تُرِيد. ولـكِنْ حِينَ تَشِيخ، سَتَبْسُطُ يَدَيْكَ وآخَرُ يَشُدُّ لَكَ حِزامَكَ، ويَذْهَبُ بِكَ إِلى حَيْثُ لا تُرِيد". 19 قَالَ يَسُوعُ ذـلِكَ مُشيرًا إِلى الـمِيتَةِ الَّتِي سَيُمَجِّدُ بِهَا بُطْرُسُ الله. ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُ: "إِتْبَعْنِي!". 20 وَالتَفَتَ بُطْرُس، فَرَأَى التِّلْمِيذَ الَّذي كَانَ يَسُوعُ يُحِبُّهُ يَتْبَعُهُمَا، وهُوَ الَّذي مَالَ عَلى صَدْرِ يَسُوعَ وَقْتَ العَشَاءِ وقَالَ لَهُ: يَا رَبّ، مَنْ هُوَ الَّذي يُسْلِمُكَ. 21 فَلَمَّا رَآهُ بُطْرُسُ قَالَ لِيَسُوع: "يَا رَبّ، وهـذَا، مَا يَكُونُ لَهُ؟". 22 قَالَ لَهُ يَسُوع: "إِنْ شِئْتُ أَنْ يَبْقَى حَتَّى أَجِيء، فَمَاذَا لَكَ؟ أَنْتَ، اتْبَعْنِي!". 23 وشَاعَتْ بَيْنَ الإِخْوَةِ هـذِهِ الكَلِمَة، وهِيَ أَنَّ ذـلِكَ التِّلْمِيذَ لا يَمُوت. لـكِنَّ يَسُوعَ لَمْ يَقُلْ إِنَّهُ لا يَمُوت، بَلْ: إِنْ شِئْتُ أَنْ يَبْقَى حَتَّى أَجِيء، فَمَاذَا لَكَ. 24 هـذَا التِّلْمِيذُ هُوَ الشَّاهِدُ عَلى هـذِهِ الأُمُور، وهُوَ الَّذي دَوَّنَهَا، ونَحْنُ نَعْلَمُ أَنَّ شَهَادَتَهُ حَقّ. 25 وصَنَعَ يَسُوعُ أُمُورًا أُخْرَى كَثِيْرَة، لَوْ كُتِبَتْ وَاحِدًا فَوَاحِدًا، لَمَا أَظُنُّ أَنَّ العَالَمَ نَفْسَهُ يَسَعُهَا أَسْفَارًا مَكْتُوبَة.

Lecture French	01 Si donc vous êtes ressuscités avec le Christ, recherchez les réalités d’en haut : c’est là qu’est le Christ, assis à la droite de Dieu. 02 Pensez aux réalités d’en haut, non à celles de la terre. 03 En effet, vous êtes passés par la mort, et votre vie reste cachée avec le Christ en Dieu. 04 Quand paraîtra le Christ, votre vie, alors vous aussi, vous paraîtrez avec lui dans la gloire. 05 Faites donc mourir en vous ce qui n’appartient qu’à la terre : débauche, impureté, passion, désir mauvais, et cette soif de posséder, qui est une idolâtrie. 06 Voilà ce qui provoque la colère de Dieu contre ceux qui lui désobéissent, 07 voilà quelle était votre conduite autrefois lorsque, vous aussi, vous viviez dans ces désordres. 08 Mais maintenant, vous aussi, débarrassez-vous de tout cela : colère, emportement, méchanceté, insultes, propos grossiers sortis de votre bouche. 09 Plus de mensonge entre vous : vous vous êtes débarrassés de l’homme ancien qui était en vous et de ses façons d’agir, 10 et vous vous êtes revêtus de l’homme nouveau qui, pour se conformer à l’image de son Créateur, se renouvelle sans cesse en vue de la pleine connaissance. 11 Ainsi, il n’y a plus le païen et le Juif, le circoncis et l’incirconcis, il n’y a plus le barbare ou le primitif, l’esclave et l’homme libre ; mais il y a le Christ : il est tout, et en tous.
Evangile French	15 Quand ils eurent mangé, Jésus dit à Simon-Pierre : « Simon, fils de Jean, m’aimes-tu vraiment, plus que ceux-ci ? » Il lui répond : « Oui, Seigneur ! Toi, tu le sais : je t’aime. » Jésus lui dit : « Sois le berger de mes agneaux. » 16 Il lui dit une deuxième fois : « Simon, fils de Jean, m’aimes-tu vraiment ? » Il lui répond : « Oui, Seigneur ! Toi, tu le sais : je t’aime. » Jésus lui dit : « Sois le pasteur de mes brebis. » 17 Il lui dit, pour la troisième fois : « Simon, fils de Jean, m’aimes-tu ? » Pierre fut peiné parce que, la troisième fois, Jésus lui demandait : « M’aimes-tu ? » Il lui répond : « Seigneur, toi, tu sais tout : tu sais bien que je t’aime. » Jésus lui dit : « Sois le berger de mes brebis. 18 Amen, amen, je te le dis : quand tu étais jeune, tu mettais ta ceinture toi-même pour aller là où tu voulais ; quand tu seras vieux, tu étendras les mains, et c’est un autre qui te mettra ta ceinture, pour t’emmener là où tu ne voudrais pas aller. » 19 Jésus disait cela pour signifier par quel genre de mort Pierre rendrait gloire à Dieu. Sur ces mots, il lui dit : « Suis-moi. » 20 S’étant retourné, Pierre aperçoit, marchant à leur suite, le disciple que Jésus aimait. C’est lui qui, pendant le repas, s’était penché sur la poitrine de Jésus pour lui dire : « Seigneur, quel est celui qui va te livrer ? » 21 Pierre, voyant donc ce disciple, dit à Jésus : « Et lui, Seigneur, que lui arrivera-t-il ? » 22 Jésus lui répond : « Si je veux qu’il demeure jusqu’à ce que je vienne, que t’importe ? Toi, suis-moi. » 23 Le bruit courut donc parmi les frères que ce disciple ne mourrait pas. Or, Jésus n’avait pas dit à Pierre qu’il ne mourrait pas, mais : « Si je veux qu’il demeure jusqu’à ce que je vienne, que t’importe ? » 24 C’est ce disciple qui témoigne de ces choses et qui les a écrites, et nous savons que son témoignage est vrai. 25 Il y a encore beaucoup d’autres choses que Jésus a faites ; et s’il fallait écrire chacune d’elles, je pense que le monde entier ne suffirait pas pour contenir les livres que l’on écrirait.

Renunciation of Vice.* 5 Put to death, then, the parts of you that are earthly:c immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and the greed that is idolatry.* 6 Because of these the wrath of God* is coming [upon the disobedient].d 7 By these you too once conducted yourselves, when you lived in that way. 8 But now you must put them all away:* anger, fury, malice, slander, and obscene language out of your mouths.e 9 Stop lying to one another, since you have taken off the old self with its practicesf 10 * and have put on the new self, which is being renewed, for knowledge, in the image of its creator.g 11 Here there is not Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian,* slave, free; but Christ is all and in all.h
Evangile English	15 When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter,* “Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?”* He said to him, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” He said to him, “Feed my lambs.” 16 He then said to him a second time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” He said to him, “Tend my sheep.” 17 He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was distressed that he had said to him a third time, “Do you love me?” and he said to him, “Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.” [Jesus] said to him, “Feed my sheep.i 18 * Amen, amen, I say to you,j when you were younger, you used to dress yourself and go where you wanted; but when you grow old, you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.” 19 He said this signifying by what kind of death he would glorify God. And when he had said this, he said to him, “Follow me.”k The Beloved Disciple. 20 Peter turned and saw the disciple following whom Jesus loved, the one who had also reclined upon his chest during the supper and had said, “Master, who is the one who will betray you?”l 21 When Peter saw him, he said to Jesus, “Lord, what about him?” 22 Jesus said to him, “What if I want him to remain until I come?* What concern is it of yours? You follow me.”m 23 * So the word spread among the brothers that that disciple would not die. But Jesus had not told him that he would not die, just “What if I want him to remain until I come? [What concern is it of yours?]” Conclusion. 24 It is this disciple who testifies to these things and has written them,* and we know that his testimony is true.n 25 There are also many other things that Jesus did, but if these were to be described individually, I do not think the whole world would contain the books that would be written.o
