Lecture Arabic	1 أَمَّا أَنْتَ فَتَكَلَّمْ بِمَا يَلِيقُ بِالتَّعْلِيمِ الصَّحِيح: 2 لِيَكُنِ العَجَزَةُ يَقِظِين، ذَوِي رَصَانَةٍ ورَزَانَة، أَصِحَّاءَ في الإِيْمَانِ والْمَحَبَّةِ والثَّبَات. 3 كذـلِكَ العَجَائِزُ فَلْتَكُنْ سِيرَتُهُنَّ على مَا يَلِيقُ بِالقِدِّيسَات، غَيرَ مُفْتِنَات، ولا مُسْتَعْبَدَاتٍ للإِكْثَارِ مِنَ الـخَمْر، بَلْ مُعَلِّمَاتٍ لِمَا هُوَ صَالِح، 4 فَيُنَبِّهْنَ النِّسَاءَ الفَتِيَّاتِ أَنْ يَكُنَّ مُحِبَّاتٍ لِرِجَالِهِنَّ، ومُحِبَّاتٍ لأَولادِهِنَّ، 5 رَزِينَات، عَفِيفَات، مُعْتَنِيَاتٍ بِبُيُوتِهِنَّ، صَالِحَات، خَاضِعَاتٍ لِرِجَالِهِنَّ، لِئَلاَّ يُجَدَّفَ على كَلِمَةِ الله. 6 كذـلِكَ عِظِ الشُّبَّانَ أَنْ يَكُونُوا مُتَعَقِّلِين. 7 وَاجْعَلْ نَفْسَكَ في كُلِّ شَيءٍ مِثَالاً لِلأَعْمَالِ الصَّالِحَة، مُخْلِصًا في التَّعْلِيم، رَزِينًا، 8 مُتَكَلِّمًا كَلامًا صَحِيحًا مُنَزَّهًا عَنْ كُلِّ لَوْم، حَتَّى يَخْزَى مَنْ يُخَاصِمُنَا، حينَ لا يَجِدُ أَيَّ سُوءٍ يَقُولُهُ عَلَيْنَا.
Evangile Arabic	31 ثُمَّ أَخَذَ يَسُوعُ الاثْنَي عَشَرَ وقَالَ لَهُم: "هَا نَحْنُ صَاعِدُونَ إِلَى أُورَشَلِيم، وَسَيتِمُّ كُلُّ مَا هُوَ مَكْتُوبٌ في الأَنْبِيَاءِ عَنِ ابْنِ الإِنْسَان. 32 فإِنَّهُ سَيُسْلَمُ إِلى الوَثَنِيِّين، فَيَسْخَرُونَ مِنْهُ وَيَشْتُمُونَهُ، وَيَبْصُقُونَ عَلَيْه، 33 وَيَجْلِدُونَهُ وَيَقْتُلُونَهُ، وفي اليَومِ الثَّالِثِ يَقُوم". 34 وَلـكِنَّهُم لَمْ يَفْهَمُوا شَيئًا مِنْ ذـلِكَ، بَلْ كانَ هـذَا الكَلامُ خَفِيًّا عَنْهُم، وَمَا كَانُوا يُدْرِكُونَ مَا يُقَالُ لَهُم.

Lecture French	01 Quant à toi, dis ce qui est conforme à l’enseignement de la saine doctrine. 02 Que les hommes âgés soient sobres, dignes de respect, pondérés, et solides dans la foi, la charité et la persévérance. 03 De même, que les femmes âgées mènent une vie sainte, ne soient pas médisantes ni esclaves de la boisson, et qu’elles soient de bon conseil, 04 pour apprendre aux jeunes femmes à aimer leur mari et leurs enfants, 05 à être raisonnables et pures, bonnes maîtresses de maison, aimables, soumises à leur mari, afin que la parole de Dieu ne soit pas exposée au blasphème. 06 Les jeunes aussi, exhorte-les à être raisonnables 07 en toutes choses. Toi-même, sois un modèle par ta façon de bien agir, par un enseignement sans défaut et digne de respect, 08 par la solidité inattaquable de ta parole, pour la plus grande confusion de l’adversaire, qui ne trouvera aucune critique à faire sur nous.
Evangile French	31 Prenant les Douze auprès de lui, il leur dit : « Voici que nous montons à Jérusalem, et que va s’accomplir tout ce qui a été écrit par les prophètes sur le Fils de l’homme. 32 En effet, il sera livré aux nations païennes, accablé de moqueries, maltraité, couvert de crachats ; 33 après l’avoir flagellé, on le tuera et, le troisième jour, il ressuscitera. » 34 Eux ne comprirent rien à cela : c’était une parole dont le sens leur était caché, et ils ne saisissaient pas de quoi Jésus parlait.

Lecture English	1 As for yourself, you must say what is consistent with sound doctrine, namely,a 2 that older men should be temperate, dignified, self-controlled, sound in faith, love, and endurance. 3 Similarly, older women should be reverent in their behavior, not slanderers, not addicted to drink, teaching what is good, 4 so that they may train younger women to love their husbands and children, 5 to be self-controlled, chaste, good homemakers, under the control of their husbands, so that the word of God may not be discredited.b 6 Urge the younger men, similarly, to control themselves, 7 showing yourself as a model of good deeds in every respect, with integrity in your teaching, dignity, 8 and sound speech that cannot be criticized, so that the opponent will be put to shame without anything bad to say about us.
Evangile English	31 * Then he took the Twelve aside and said to them, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem and everything written by the prophets about the Son of Man will be fulfilled.* 32 p He will be handed over to the Gentiles and he will be mocked and insulted and spat upon; 33 and after they have scourged him they will kill him, but on the third day he will rise.” 34 But they understood nothing of this; the word remained hidden from them and they failed to comprehend what he said.q
