Lecture Arabic	8 إِحْذَرُوا أَنْ يَخْلُبَكُم أَحَدٌ بِالفَلْسَفَة، والـخِدَاعِ البَاطِلِ وَفْقَ تَقْلِيدِ البَشَر، وَفْقَ أَركَانِ العَالَم، لاَ وَفْقَ الـمَسِيح، 9 لأَنْ فيهِ يَسْكُنُ مِلْءُ الأُلُوهَةِ كُلُّهُ جَسَدِيًّا؛ 10 وفيهِ أَنْتُم مُمتَلِئُون، وهُوَ رَأْسُ كُلِّ رِئَاسَةٍ وسُلْطَان؛ 11 وفيهِ أَيضًا خُتِنْتُمْ خِتَانَةً لَمْ تَصْنَعْهَا الأَيْدي، هيَ خِتَانَةُ الْمَسِيح، بِهَا خَلَعْتُمْ عَنْكُم جَسَدَ ضُعْفِكُمُ البَشَريّ، 12 فَدُفِنْتُمْ معَ الـمَسِيحِ في الـمَعْمُودِيَّة، وفيهَا أَيْضًا أُقِمْتُمْ مَعَهُ، لأَنَّكُم آمَنْتُم بِقُدْرَةِ اللهِ الَّذي أَقَامَهُ مِن بَينِ الأَموَات. 13 وإِذْ كُنتُم أَمْواتًا بِزَلاَّتِكُم وَبِعَدَمِ خِتَانَةِ جَسَدِكُم، أَحْيَاكُم مَعَهُ، غَافِرًا لنَا جَمِيعَ زَلاَّتِنَا، 14 ومَاحِيًا الصَّكَّ الـمَكتُوبَ عَلينَا وقَدْ كَانَ بِفَرائِضِهِ مُعَارِضًا لنا، فأَزالَهُ مُسَمِّرًا إِيَّاهُ على الصَّليب، 15 وجَرَّدَ الرِّئَاسَاتِ والسَّلاطِين، وشَهَّرَهُم عَلانِيَةً، وجَرَّهُم في مَوكِبِ صَليبِهِ الظَّافِر.
Evangile Arabic	19 وفي مَسَاءِ ذـلِكَ اليَوم، يَوْمِ الأَحَد، كَانَ التَّلامِيذُ مُجْتَمِعِين، والأَبْوَابُ مُغْلَقَةٌ خَوفًا مِنَ اليَهُود، فَجَاءَ يَسُوعُ ووَقَفَ في الوَسَطِ وقَالَ لَهُم: "أَلسَّلامُ لَكُم!". 20 قَالَ هـذَا وأَرَاهُم يَدَيْهِ وجَنْبَهُ. فَفَرِحَ التَّلامِيذُ حِينَ رَأَوا الرَّبّ. 21 فَقَالَ لَهُم ثَانِيَةً: "أَلسَّلامُ لَكُم! كَمَا أَرْسَلَنِي الآب، أُرْسِلُكُم أَنَا أَيْضًا". 22 قَالَ هـذَا ونَفَخَ فِيهِم وقَالَ لَهُم: "خُذُوا الرُّوحَ القُدُس. 23 مَنْ غَفَرْتُم خَطَايَاهُم غُفِرَتْ لَهُم، ومَنْ أَمْسَكْتُم خَطَايَاهُم أُمْسِكَتْ عَلَيْهِم". 24 أَمَّا تُومَا، أَحَدُ الاثْنَي عَشَر، الـمُلَقَّبُ بِالتَّوْأَم، فَلَمْ يَكُنْ مَعَهُم حِينَ جَاءَ يَسُوع. 25 فَقَالَ لَهُ التَّلامِيذُ الآخَرُون: "لَقَدْ رَأَيْنَا الرَّبّ!". فَقَالَ لَهُم: "مَا لَمْ أَرَ أَثَرَ الـمَسامِيرِ في يَدَيْه، وأَضَعْ إِصْبَعِي في مَوْضِعِ الـمَسَامِير، وأَضَعْ يَدِي في جَنْبِهِ، لَنْ أُؤْمِن!".

Lecture French	08 Prenez garde à ceux qui veulent faire de vous leur proie par une philosophie vide et trompeuse, fondée sur la tradition des hommes, sur les forces qui régissent le monde, et non pas sur le Christ. 09 Car en lui, dans son propre corps, habite toute la plénitude de la divinité. 10 En lui, vous êtes pleinement comblés, car il domine toutes les Puissances de l’univers. 11 En lui, vous avez reçu une circoncision qui n’est pas celle que pratiquent les hommes, mais celle qui réalise l’entier dépouillement de votre corps de chair ; telle est la circoncision qui vient du Christ. 12 Dans le baptême, vous avez été mis au tombeau avec lui et vous êtes ressuscités avec lui par la foi en la force de Dieu qui l’a ressuscité d’entre les morts. 13 Vous étiez des morts, parce que vous aviez commis des fautes et n’aviez pas reçu de circoncision dans votre chair. Mais Dieu vous a donné la vie avec le Christ : il nous a pardonné toutes nos fautes. 14 Il a effacé le billet de la dette qui nous accablait en raison des prescriptions légales pesant sur nous : il l’a annulé en le clouant à la croix. 15 Ainsi, Dieu a dépouillé les Puissances de l’univers ; il les a publiquement données en spectacle et les a traînées dans le cortège triomphal du Christ.
Evangile French	19 Le soir venu, en ce premier jour de la semaine, alors que les portes du lieu où se trouvaient les disciples étaient verrouillées par crainte des Juifs, Jésus vint, et il était là au milieu d’eux. Il leur dit : « La paix soit avec vous ! » 20 Après cette parole, il leur montra ses mains et son côté. Les disciples furent remplis de joie en voyant le Seigneur. 21 Jésus leur dit de nouveau : « La paix soit avec vous ! De même que le Père m’a envoyé, moi aussi, je vous envoie. » 22 Ayant ainsi parlé, il souffla sur eux et il leur dit : « Recevez l’Esprit Saint. 23 À qui vous remettrez ses péchés, ils seront remis ; à qui vous maintiendrez ses péchés, ils seront maintenus. » 24 Or, l’un des Douze, Thomas, appelé Didyme (c’est-à-dire Jumeau), n’était pas avec eux quand Jésus était venu. 25 Les autres disciples lui disaient : « Nous avons vu le Seigneur ! » Mais il leur déclara : « Si je ne vois pas dans ses mains la marque des clous, si je ne mets pas mon doigt dans la marque des clous, si je ne mets pas la main dans son côté, non, je ne croirai pas ! »

Lecture English	8 See to it that no one captivate you with an empty, seductive philosophy according to human tradition, according to the elemental powers of the world* and not according to Christ.f Sovereign Role of Christ. 9 g For in him dwells the whole fullness of the deity* bodily, 10 and you share in this fullness in him, who is the head of every principality and power. 11 h In him* you were also circumcised with a circumcision not administered by hand, by stripping off the carnal body, with the circumcision of Christ. 12 You were buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the power of God, who raised him from the dead.i 13 j And even when you were dead [in] transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, he brought you to life along with him, having forgiven us all our transgressions; 14 * obliterating the bond against us, with its legal claims, which was opposed to us, he also removed it from our midst, nailing it to the cross;k 15 despoiling the principalities and the powers, he made a public spectacle of them,l leading them away in triumph by it.*
Evangile English	19 On the evening of that first day of the week,j when the doors were locked, where the disciples* were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst and said to them, “Peace be with you.” 20 When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side.* The disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord.k 21 * [Jesus] said to them again,l “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.” 22 * And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them,m “Receive the holy Spirit. 23 * n Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained.” Thomas. 24 Thomas, called Didymus, one of the Twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. 25 So the other disciples said to him, “We have seen the Lord.” But he said to them, “Unless I see the mark of the nails in his hands and put my finger into the nailmarks and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”o
