Lecture Arabic	11 إِذًا، بِمَا أَنَّنَا نَعْرِفُ مَخَافَةَ الرَّبّ، نحُاوِلُ أَنْ نُقْنِعَ النَّاس. وَنَحْنُ مَعْرُوفُون لَدَى الله، ولـكِنِّي آمَلُ أَنْ نَكُونَ مَعْرُوفِينَ أَيْضًا في ضَمَائِرِكُم. 12 ولَسْنَا نَعُودُ فَنُوَصِّيكُم بِأَنْفُسِنَا، بَلْ نُعْطِيكُم فُرْصَةً لِلافْتَخَارِ بِنَا تُجَاهَ الَّذينَ يَفْتَخِرُونَ بِالـمَظْهَرِ لا بِمَا في القَلْب. 13 فإِنْ كُنَّا مَجَانِينَ فَلِلـّه، وإِنْ كُنَّا عُقَلاءَ فَلأَجْلِكُم؛ 14 إِنَّ مَحَبَّةَ الـمَسِيحِ تَأْسُرُنَا، لأَنَّنَا أَدْرَكْنَا هـذَا، وهوَ أَنَّ وَاحِدًا مَاتَ عَنِ الـجَمِيع، فَالـجَمِيعُ إِذًا مَاتُوا. 15 لَقَدْ مَاتَ عَنِ الـجَمِيع، لِكَي لا يَحْيَا الأَحْيَاءُ مِنْ بَعْدُ لأَنْفُسِهِم، بَلْ لِلَّذي مَاتَ عَنْهُم وقَامَ مِن أَجْلِهِم. 16 إِذًا فَمُنْذُ الآنَ نَحْنُ لا نَعْرِفُ أَحَدًا مَعْرِفَةً بَشَرِيَّة، وإِنْ كُنَّا قَدْ عَرَفْنَا الـمَسِيحَ مَعْرِفَةً بَشَرِيَّة، فَالآنَ مَا عُدْنَا نَعْرِفُهُ كَذ,لِكَ. 17 إِذًا، إِنْ كَانَ أَحَدٌ في الـمَسِيحِ فَهُوَ خَلْقٌ جَدِيد: لَقَدْ زَالَ القَدِيم، وصَارَ كُلُّ شَيءٍ جَدِيدًا. 18 وكُلُّ شَيءٍ هُوَ مِنَ الله، الَّذي صَالَحَنَا مَعَ نَفْسِهِ بِالـمَسِيح، وأَعْطَانَا خِدْمَةَ الـمُصَالَحَة؛ 19 لأَنَّ اللهَ صَالَحَ العَالَمَ مَعَ نَفْسِهِ بِالـمَسِيح، ولَمْ يُحَاسِبِ النَّاسَ عَلى زَلاَّتِهِم، وأَوْدَعَنَا كَلِمَةَ الـمُصَالَحَة. 20 إِذًا فَنَحْنُ سُفَرَاءُ الـمَسِيح، وكَأَنَّ اللهَ نَفْسَهُ يَدْعُوكُم بِوَاسِطَتِنَا. فَنَسْأَلُكُم بِاسْمِ الـمَسِيح: تَصَالَحُوا مَعَ الله! 21 إِنَّ الَّذي مَا عَرَفَ الـخَطِيئَة، جَعَلَهُ اللهُ خَطِيئَةً مِنْ أَجْلِنَا، لِنَصِيرَ نَحْنُ فِيهِ بِرَّ الله.
Evangile Arabic	26 وبَعْدَ ثَمَانِيَةِ أَيَّام، كَانَ تَلامِيذُ يَسُوعَ ثَانِيَةً في البَيْت، وتُومَا مَعَهُم. جَاءَ يَسُوع، والأَبْوَابُ مُغْلَقَة، فَوَقَفَ في الوَسَطِ وقَال: "أَلسَّلامُ لَكُم!". 27 ثُمَّ قَالَ لِتُومَا: "هَاتِ إِصْبَعَكَ إِلى هُنَا، وانْظُرْ يَدَيَّ. وهَاتِ يَدَكَ، وضَعْهَا في جَنْبِي. ولا تَكُنْ غَيْرَ مُؤْمِنٍ بَلْ كُنْ مُؤْمِنًا!". 28 أَجَابَ تُومَا وقَالَ لَهُ: "رَبِّي وإِلـهِي!". 29 قَالَ لَهُ يَسُوع: "لأَنَّكَ رَأَيْتَنِي آمَنْت؟ طُوبَى لِمَنْ لَمْ يَرَوا وآمَنُوا!". 30 وصَنَعَ يَسُوعُ أَمَامَ تَلامِيذِهِ آيَاتٍ أُخْرَى كَثِيرَةً لَمْ تُدَوَّنْ في هـذَا الكِتَاب. 31 وإِنَّمَا دُوِّنَتْ هـذِهِ لِكَي تُؤْمِنُوا أَنَّ يَسُوعَ هُوَ الـمَسِيحُ ابْنُ الله، ولِكَي تَكُونَ لَكُم، إِذَا آمَنْتُم، الـحَيَاةُ بِاسْمِهِ.

Lecture French	11 Sachant donc ce qu’est la crainte du Seigneur, nous cherchons à convaincre les hommes, et nous sommes à découvert devant Dieu. J’espère bien être aussi à découvert devant vos consciences. 12 Il ne s’agit pas de nous recommander à vous une fois de plus, mais de vous donner l’occasion d’être fiers de nous, pour que vous ayez de quoi répondre à ceux qui mettent leur fierté dans les apparences, et non dans le cœur. 13 Si nous avons perdu la tête, c’est pour Dieu ; si nous sommes raisonnables, c’est pour vous. 14 En effet, l’amour du Christ nous saisit quand nous pensons qu’un seul est mort pour tous, et qu’ainsi tous ont passé par la mort. 15 Car le Christ est mort pour tous, afin que les vivants n’aient plus leur vie centrée sur eux-mêmes, mais sur lui, qui est mort et ressuscité pour eux. 16 Désormais nous ne regardons plus personne d’une manière simplement humaine : si nous avons connu le Christ de cette manière, maintenant nous ne le connaissons plus ainsi. 17 Si donc quelqu’un est dans le Christ, il est une créature nouvelle. Le monde ancien s’en est allé, un monde nouveau est déjà né. 18 Tout cela vient de Dieu : il nous a réconciliés avec lui par le Christ, et il nous a donné le ministère de la réconciliation. 19 Car c’est bien Dieu qui, dans le Christ, réconciliait le monde avec lui : il n’a pas tenu compte des fautes, et il a déposé en nous la parole de la réconciliation. 20 Nous sommes donc les ambassadeurs du Christ, et par nous c’est Dieu lui-même qui lance un appel : nous le demandons au nom du Christ, laissez-vous réconcilier avec Dieu. 21 Celui qui n’a pas connu le péché, Dieu l’a pour nous identifié au péché, afin qu’en lui nous devenions justes de la justice même de Dieu.
Evangile French	26 Huit jours plus tard, les disciples se trouvaient de nouveau dans la maison, et Thomas était avec eux. Jésus vient, alors que les portes étaient verrouillées, et il était là au milieu d’eux. Il dit : « La paix soit avec vous ! » 27 Puis il dit à Thomas : « Avance ton doigt ici, et vois mes mains ; avance ta main, et mets-la dans mon côté : cesse d’être incrédule, sois croyant. » 28 Alors Thomas lui dit : « Mon Seigneur et mon Dieu ! » 29 Jésus lui dit : « Parce que tu m’as vu, tu crois. Heureux ceux qui croient sans avoir vu. » 30 Il y a encore beaucoup d’autres signes que Jésus a faits en présence des disciples et qui ne sont pas écrits dans ce livre. 31 Mais ceux-là ont été écrits pour que vous croyiez que Jésus est le Christ, le Fils de Dieu, et pour qu’en croyant, vous ayez la vie en son nom.

Lecture English	11 * Therefore, since we know the fear of the Lord, we try to persuade others; but we are clearly apparent to God, and I hope we are also apparent to your consciousness.g 12 We are not commending ourselves to you again but giving you an opportunity to boast of us, so that you may have something to say to those who boast of external appearance rather than of the heart.h 13 For if we are out of our minds,* it is for God; if we are rational, it is for you. 14 * For the love of Christ impels us, once we have come to the conviction that one died for all; therefore, all have died.i 15 He indeed died for all, so that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.j 16 Consequently,* from now on we regard no one according to the flesh; even if we once knew Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know him so no longer. 17 k So whoever is in Christ is a new creation: the old things have passed away; behold, new things have come. 18 * And all this is from God, who has reconciled us to himself through Christ and given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 namely, God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting their trespasses against them and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.l 20 So we are ambassadors for Christ, as if God were appealing through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.m 21 * For our sake he made him to be sin who did not know sin,n so that we might become the righteousness of God in him.
Evangile English	26 Now a week later his disciples were again inside and Thomas was with them. Jesus came, although the doors were locked, and stood in their midst and said, “Peace be with you.”p 27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here and see my hands, and bring your hand and put it into my side, and do not be unbelieving, but believe.” 28 * q Thomas answered and said to him, “My Lord and my God!” 29 * Jesus said to him, “Have you come to believe because you have seen me?r Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.” Conclusion.* 30 Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of [his] disciples that are not written in this book.s 31 But these are written that you may [come to] believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that through this belief you may have life in his name.t
