Lecture Arabic	8 وبَعْدُ، أَيُّهَا الإِخْوَة، فَكُلُّ مَا هُوَ حَقّ، وكُلُّ مَا هُوَ شَرِيف، وَكُلُّ مَا هُوَ بَارّ، وكُلُّ مَا هُوَ نَقِيّ، وكُلُّ مَا هُوَ مُحَبَّب، وكُلُّ مَا هُوَ مَمْدُوح، وكُلُّ مَا فِيهِ فَضِيلَة، وكُلُّ مَا فيهِ مَدِيح، فَفِيهِ فَكِّرُوا. 9 وما تَعَلَّمْتُمُوهُ وتَلَقَّيْتُمُوهُ وسَمِعْتُمُوهُ مِنِّي، ورأَيْتُمُوهُ فيَّ، فإِيَّاهُ اعْمَلُوا. وإِلـهُ السَّلامِ يَكُونُ مَعَكُم! 10 لَقَدْ فَرِحْتُ في الرَّبِّ فَرَحًا عَظِيمًا، لأَنَّ اهْتِمَامَكُم بِي عَادَ أَخِيرًا فأَزْهَر. وكُنْتُم تَهْتَمُّون، غَيْرَ أَنَّ الفُرْصَةَ لَمْ تَسْنَحْ لَكُم. 11 ولا أَقُولُ هـذَا عَنْ حَاجَة، لأَنِّي تَعَلَّمْتُ أَنْ أَكْتَفِيَ بِمَا أَنَا عَلَيْه. 12 فأَنَأ أَعْرِفُ أَنْ أَعِيشَ في الـحِرْمَان، كَمَا أَعْرِفُ أَنْ أَعِيشَ في الوَفْرَة. فَإِنِّي في كُلِّ وَقْتٍ وكُلِّ حَالٍ تَدَرَّبْتُ عَلى الشِّبَعِ والـجُوع، وعلى البَحْبُوحَةِ والفَاقَة. 13 إِنِّي أَسْتَطِيعُ كُلَّ شَيءٍ بِالَّذي يُقَوِّينِي. 14 مَعَ ذ,لِكَ فقَد أَحْسَنْتُم عِندَمَا شَارَكْتُمُونِي في ضِيقِي.
Evangile Arabic	12 كَلَّمْتُكُم في شُؤُونِ الأَرْضِ ولا تُؤْمِنُون، فَكَيْفَ تُؤْمِنُونَ إِذَا كَلَّمْتُكُم في شُؤُونِ السَّمَاء؟ 13 مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ صَعِدَ إِلى السَّمَاء، إِلاَّ الَّذي نَزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاء، أَي إِبْنُ الإِنْسَان. 14 وكَمَا رَفَعَ مُوسَى الـحَيَّةَ في البَرِّيَّة، كَذـلِكَ يَجِبُ أَنْ يُرْفَعَ ابْنُ الإِنْسَان، 15 لِكَي تَكُونَ لِكُلِّ مُؤْمِنٍ بِهِ حَيَاةٌ أَبَدِيَّة.

Lecture French	08 Enfin, mes frères, tout ce qui est vrai et noble, tout ce qui est juste et pur, tout ce qui est digne d’être aimé et honoré, tout ce qui s’appelle vertu et qui mérite des éloges, tout cela, prenez-le en compte. 09 Ce que vous avez appris et reçu, ce que vous avez vu et entendu de moi, mettez-le en pratique. Et le Dieu de la paix sera avec vous. 10 J’ai éprouvé une grande joie dans le Seigneur à voir maintenant refleurir vos bonnes dispositions pour moi : elles étaient bien vivantes, mais vous n’aviez pas occasion de les montrer. 11 Ce ne sont pas les privations qui me font parler ainsi, car j’ai appris à me contenter de ce que j’ai. 12 Je sais vivre de peu, je sais aussi être dans l’abondance. J’ai été formé à tout et pour tout : à être rassasié et à souffrir la faim, à être dans l’abondance et dans les privations. 13 Je peux tout en celui qui me donne la force. 14 Cependant, vous avez bien fait de vous montrer solidaires quand j’étais dans la gêne.
Evangile French	12 Si vous ne croyez pas lorsque je vous parle des choses de la terre, comment croirez-vous quand je vous parlerai des choses du ciel ? 13 Car nul n’est monté au ciel sinon celui qui est descendu du ciel, le Fils de l’homme. 14 De même que le serpent de bronze fut élevé par Moïse dans le désert, ainsi faut-il que le Fils de l’homme soit élevé, 15 afin qu’en lui tout homme qui croit ait la vie éternelle.

Lecture English	8 g Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.* 9 Keep on doing what you have learned and received and heard and seen in me.h Then the God of peace will be with you.* 10 I rejoice greatly in the Lord that now at last you revived your concern for me. You were, of course, concerned about me but lacked an opportunity.i 11 Not that I say this because of need, for I have learned, in whatever situation I find myself, to be self-sufficient.j 12 I know indeed how to live in humble circumstances; I know also how to live with abundance. In every circumstance and in all things I have learned the secret of being well fed and of going hungry, of living in abundance and of being in need. 13 I have the strength for everything through him who empowers me.k 14 Still, it was kind of you to share in my distress.
Evangile English	12 If I tell you about earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you about heavenly things?h 13 No one has gone up to heaven except the one who has come down from heaven, the Son of Man.i 14 And just as Moses lifted up* the serpent in the desert, so must the Son of Man be lifted up,j 15 * so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.”
