Lecture Arabic	1 أَيُّهَا الإِخْوَة، إِنَّ بُغْيَةَ قَلْبي وتَضَرُّعِي إِلى اللهِ مِنْ أَجْلِ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ لِيَخْلُصُوا. 2 فأَنَا أَشْهَدُ لَهُم أَنَّ فيهِم غَيْرَةً لله، وَلـكِنْ بِدُونِ مَعْرِفَةٍ صَحيحَة. 3 فقَدْ جَهِلُوا بِرَّ الله، وحَاوَلُوا أَنْ يُثْبِتُوا بِرَّ أَنْفُسِهِم، فَلَمْ يَخْضَعُوا لِبِرِّ الله؛ 4 لأَنَّ غَايَةَ الشَّرِيعَةِ إِنَّمَا هِيَ الـمَسِيح، لِكَي يَتَبَرَّرَ بِهِ كُلُّ مُؤْمِن. 5 وقَدْ كَتَبَ مُوسَى عَنِ البِرِّ الَّذي هُوَ مِنَ الشَّرِيعَةِ فَقَال: "مَنْ يَعْمَلُ بِأَحْكَامِ الشَّرِيعَةِ يَحْيَا بِهَا". 6 أَمَّا عَنِ البِرِّ الَّذي هُوَ مِنَ الإِيْمَانِ فَيَقُول: "لا تَقُلْ في قَلْبِكَ: مَنْ يَصْعَدُ إِلى السَّمَاء؟"، أَيْ لِيُنْزِلَ الـمَسِيحَ مِنَ السَّمَاء. 7 ولا تَقُلْ: "مَنْ يَهْبِطُ إِلى الـهَاوِيَة؟"، أَيْ لِيُصْعِدَ الـمَسِيحَ مِنْ بَيْنِ الأَمْوَات. 8 بَلْ مَاذَا يَقُول؟ "الكَلِمَةُ قَرِيبَةٌ مِنْكَ، في فَمِكَ وَقَلْبِكَ"، أَيْ كَلِمَةُ الإِيْمَان، الَّتي نُنَادِي بِهَا. 9 فَإِنِ اعْتَرَفْتَ بِفَمِكَ أَنَّ يَسُوعَ هُوَ الرَّبّ، وآمَنْتَ بِقَلْبِكَ أَنَّ اللهَ أَقَامَهُ مِنْ بَيْنِ الأَمْوَات، تَخْلُص. 10 فالإِيْمَانُ بِالقَلْبِ يَقُودُ إِلى البِرّ، والاعْتِرَافُ بِالفَمِ يَقُودُ إِلى الـخَلاص؛ 11 لأَنَّ الكِتَابَ يَقُول: "كُلُّ مَنْ يُؤْمِنُ بِهِ لا يُخْزَى". 12 فلا فَرْقَ بَيْنَ يَهُودِيٍّ ويُونَانِيّ، لأَنَّ الرَّبَّ هُوَ نَفْسُهُ لِجَميعِهِم، يُفِيضُ غِنَاهُ عَلى جَمِيعِ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَهُ. 13 فَكُلُّ مَنْ يَدْعُو اسْمَ الرَّبِّ يَخْلُص.
Evangile Arabic	36 وفِيمَا هُمْ يَتَكَلَّمُونَ بِهـذَا، وَقَفَ يَسُوعُ في وَسَطِهِم، وقَالَ لَهُم: "أَلسَّلامُ لَكُم!". 37 فارْتَاعُوا، واسْتَوْلى عَلَيْهِمِ الـخَوْف، وكَانُوا يَظُنُّونَ أَنَّهُم يُشَاهِدُونَ رُوحًا. 38 فقَالَ لَهُم يَسُوع: "مَا بَالُكُم مُضْطَرِبِين؟ وَلِمَاذَا تُخَالِجُ هـذِهِ الأَفْكَارُ قُلُوبَكُم؟ 39 أُنْظُرُوا إِلى يَدَيَّ وَرِجْلَيَّ، فَإِنِّي أَنَا هُوَ. جُسُّونِي، وانْظُرُوا، فإِنَّ الرُّوحَ لا لَحْمَ لَهُ وَلا عِظَامَ كَمَا تَرَوْنَ لِي!". 40 قالَ هـذَا وَأَرَاهُم يَدَيْهِ وَرِجْلَيْه. 41 وَإِذْ كَانُوا بَعْدُ غَيْرَ مُصَدِّقِينَ مِنَ الفَرَح، وَمُتَعَجِّبِين، قَالَ لَهُم: "هَلْ عِنْدَكُم هُنَا طَعَام؟". 42 فَقَدَّمُوا لَهُ قِطْعَةً مِنْ سَمَكٍ مَشْوِيّ، وَمِنْ شَهْدِ عَسَل. 43 فَأَخَذَهَا وَأَكَلَهَا بِمَرْأًى مِنْهُم، 44 وقَالَ لَهُم: "هـذَا هُوَ كَلامِي الَّذي كَلَّمْتُكُم بِهِ، وَأَنا بَعْدُ مَعَكُم. كانَ يَنْبَغِي أَنْ يَتِمَّ كُلُّ مَا كُتِبَ عَنِّي في تَوْرَاةِ مُوسَى، وَالأَنْبِيَاءِ وَالـمَزَامِير". 45 حِينَئِذٍ فَتَحَ أَذْهَانَهُم لِيَفْهَمُوا الكُتُب. 46 ثُمَّ قالَ لَهُم: "هـكذَا مَكْتُوبٌ أَنَّ الـمَسِيحَ يَتَأَلَّم، وَيَقُومُ مِنْ بَيْنِ الأَمْوَاتِ في اليَوْمِ الثَّالِث. 47 وبِاسْمِهِ يُكْرَزُ بِالتَّوْبَةِ لِمَغْفِرةِ الـخَطَايَا، في جَمِيعِ الأُمَم، إِبْتِدَاءً مِنْ أُورَشَلِيم. 48 وأَنْتُم شُهُودٌ عَلى ذـلِكَ.

Lecture French	01 Frères, le vœu de mon cœur et ma prière à Dieu pour eux, c’est qu’ils obtiennent le salut. 02 Car je peux en témoigner : ils ont du zèle pour Dieu, mais un zèle que n’éclaire pas la pleine connaissance. 03 En ne reconnaissant pas la justice qui vient de Dieu, et en cherchant à instaurer leur propre justice, ils ne se sont pas soumis à la justice de Dieu. 04 Car l’aboutissement de la Loi, c’est le Christ, afin que soit donnée la justice à toute personne qui croit. 05 Au sujet de la justice qui vient de la Loi, Moïse écrit : L’homme qui mettra les commandements en pratique y trouvera la vie. 06 Mais la justice qui vient de la foi parle ainsi : Ne dis pas dans ton cœur : « Qui montera aux cieux ? » – c’est-à-dire pour en faire descendre le Christ. 07 Ou bien : « Qui descendra au fond de l’abîme ? » – c’est-à-dire pour faire remonter le Christ d’entre les morts. 08 Mais que dit cette justice ? Tout près de toi est la Parole, elle est dans ta bouche et dans ton cœur. Cette Parole, c’est le message de la foi que nous proclamons. 09 En effet, si de ta bouche, tu affirmes que Jésus est Seigneur, si, dans ton cœur, tu crois que Dieu l’a ressuscité d’entre les morts, alors tu seras sauvé. 10 Car c’est avec le cœur que l’on croit pour devenir juste, c’est avec la bouche que l’on affirme sa foi pour parvenir au salut. 11 En effet, l’Écriture dit : Quiconque met en lui sa foi ne connaîtra pas la honte. 12 Ainsi, entre les Juifs et les païens, il n’y a pas de différence : tous ont le même Seigneur, généreux envers tous ceux qui l’invoquent. 13 En effet, quiconque invoquera le nom du Seigneur sera sauvé.
Evangile French	36 Comme ils en parlaient encore, lui-même fut présent au milieu d’eux, et leur dit : « La paix soit avec vous ! » 37 Saisis de frayeur et de crainte, ils croyaient voir un esprit. 38 Jésus leur dit : « Pourquoi êtes-vous bouleversés ? Et pourquoi ces pensées qui surgissent dans votre cœur ? 39 Voyez mes mains et mes pieds : c’est bien moi ! Touchez-moi, regardez : un esprit n’a pas de chair ni d’os comme vous constatez que j’en ai. » 40 Après cette parole, il leur montra ses mains et ses pieds. 41 Dans leur joie, ils n’osaient pas encore y croire, et restaient saisis d’étonnement. Jésus leur dit : « Avez-vous ici quelque chose à manger ? » 42 Ils lui présentèrent une part de poisson grillé 43 qu’il prit et mangea devant eux. 44 Puis il leur déclara : « Voici les paroles que je vous ai dites quand j’étais encore avec vous : Il faut que s’accomplisse tout ce qui a été écrit à mon sujet dans la loi de Moïse, les Prophètes et les Psaumes. » 45 Alors il ouvrit leur intelligence à la compréhension des Écritures. 46 Il leur dit : « Ainsi est-il écrit que le Christ souffrirait, qu’il ressusciterait d’entre les morts le troisième jour, 47 et que la conversion serait proclamée en son nom, pour le pardon des péchés, à toutes les nations, en commençant par Jérusalem. 48 À vous d’en être les témoins.

Lecture English	1 * Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God on their behalf is for salvation.a 2 I testify with regard to them that they have zeal for God, but it is not discerning.b 3 For, in their unawareness of the righteousness that comes from God and their attempt to establish their own [righteousness], they did not submit to the righteousness of God.c 4 For Christ is the end* of the law for the justification of everyone who has faith.d 5 * Moses writes about the righteousness that comes from [the] law, “The one who does these things will live by them.”e 6 But the righteousness that comes from faith says,f “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will go up into heaven?’ (that is, to bring Christ down) 7 * or ‘Who will go down into the abyss?’ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).”g 8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”h (that is, the word of faith that we preach), 9 for, if you confess* with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.i 10 For one believes with the heart and so is justified, and one confesses with the mouth and so is saved. 11 For the scripture says, “No one who believes in him will be put to shame.”j 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; the same Lord is Lord of all, enriching all who call upon him.k 13 For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”l
Evangile English	36 * While they were still speaking about this,r he stood in their midst and said to them, “Peace be with you.”s 37 But they were startled and terrified and thought that they were seeing a ghost.t 38 Then he said to them, “Why are you troubled? And why do questions arise in your hearts? 39 * Look at my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Touch me and see, because a ghost does not have flesh and bones as you can see I have.” 40 u And as he said this, he showed them his hands and his feet. 41 While they were still incredulous for joy and were amazed, he asked them, “Have you anything here to eat?” 42 They gave him a piece of baked fish;v 43 he took it and ate it in front of them. 44 He said to them, “These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the law of Moses and in the prophets and psalms must be fulfilled.”w 45 Then he opened their minds to understand the scriptures.x 46 * And he said to them,y “Thus it is written that the Messiah would suffer and rise from the dead on the third day 47 and that repentance, for the forgiveness of sins, would be preached in his name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.z 48 You are witnesses of these things.a
