Lecture Arabic	1 إِذًا فَاطْرَحُوا عَنْكُم كُلَّ شَرٍّ، وكُلَّ غِشّ، ورِيَاء، وحَسَد، وكُلَّ نَمِيمَة. 2 وكأَطْفَالٍ مَولُودِينَ حَدِيثًا، تُوقُوا إِلى اللَّبَنِ الرُّوحِيِّ الصَّافِي، لِكَي تَنْمُوا بِهِ لِلخَلاص، 3 هـذَا إِنْ ذُقْتُمْ أَنَّ الرَّبَّ طَيِّبٌ، كَمَا يَقُولُ الكِتَاب. 4 وَبِمَا أَنَّكُم قَدِ اقْتَرَبْتُم مِنهُ، هُوَ الـحَجَرُ الـحَيُّ الـمَرذُولُ عِنْدَ النَّاس، وأَمَّا عِندَ اللهِ فهُوَ الـمُخْتَارُ الكرِيم، 5 فَكُونوا أَنْتُم أَيضًا مَبْنِيِّين، كَحِجَارَةٍ حَيَّة، بَيتًا رُوحِيًّا، لِتَصِيرُوا جَمَاعةً كَهَنُوتِيَّةً مُقَدَّسَة، فَتُقَرِّبُوا ذَبَائِحَ روحِيَّةً مَرْضِيَّةً للهِ بيَسُوعَ الـمَسِيح. 6 لِذـلِكَ وَرَدَ في الكِتَاب: "هَا إِنِّي أَضَعُ في صِهْيُونَ حَجَرَ زاوِيَةٍ مُخْتَارًا كَرِيْمًا، وَالـمُؤْمِنُ بهِ لا يُخْزَى". 7 فَالكَرَامَةُ إِذًا لَكُم، أَيُّهَا الْمُؤْمِنُون. أَمَّا لِغَيْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ "فَإِنَّ الـحَجَرَ الَّذي رذَلَهُ البنَّاؤُونَ هُوَ صَارَ رأْسًا لِلزَّاوِيَة، 8 وحَجَرَ عَثْرةٍ وصَخْرَةَ شَكّ". وهُم يَعْثُرُون، لأَنَّهُم يَعْصُونَ الكَلِمَة. وهـذَا هُوَ مَصِيرُهُم! 9 أَمَّا أَنْتُم فَإِنَّكم ذُرِّيَّةٌ مُخْتَارَة، وكَهَنُوتٌ مُلُوكِيّ، وأُمَّةٌ مُقَدَّسَة، وشَعْبٌ مُقْتَنَى، لِتُخْبِرُوا بِأَفْضَالِ مَنْ دَعَاكُم مِنَ الظُّلْمَةِ إِلى نُورِهِ العَجِيب، 10 أَنتُمُ الَّذِينَ لَمْ تَكُونُوا مِن قَبْلُ شَعْبًا، أَمَّا الآنَ فأَنْتُم شَعْبُ الله، ولَمْ تَكُونُوا مَرحُومِين، أَمَّا الآنَ فأَنْتُم مَرْحُومُون.
Evangile Arabic	13 وقَرُبَ فِصْحُ اليَهُود، فَصَعِدَ يَسُوعُ إِلى أُورَشَلِيم. 14 ووَجَدَ في الـهَيْكَلِ بَاعَةَ البَقَرِ والغَنَمِ والـحَمَام، والصَّيَارِفَةَ جَالِسِين. 15 فَجَدَلَ سَوطًا مِنْ حِبَال، وطَرَدَ الـجَمِيعَ مِنَ الـهَيْكَل، طَرَدَ الغَنَمَ والبَقَرَ، وبَعْثَرَ نُقُودَ الصَّيَارِفَة، وقَلَبَ طَاوِلاتِهِم. 16 وقَالَ لِبَاعَةِ الـحَمَام: "إِرْفَعُوا هـذَا الـحَمَامَ مِنْ هُنَا، ولا تَجْعَلُوا بَيْتَ أَبِي بَيْتًا لِلتِّجَارَة". 17 فَتَذَكَّرَ تَلامِيذُهُ أَنَّهُ جَاءَ في الكِتَاب: "أَلْغيَرَةُ على بَيْتِكَ سَتَأْكُلُنِي!". 18 أَجَابَ اليَهُودُ وقَالُوا لِيَسُوع: "أَيَّ آيَةٍ تُرِينَا وأَنْتَ تَفْعَلُ هـذَا؟". 19 أَجَابَ يَسُوعُ وقَالَ لَهُم: "إِهْدِمُوا هـذَا الـهَيْكَل، وأَنَا أُقِيمُهُ في ثَلاثَةِ أَيَّام". 20 فَقَالَ اليَهُود: "بُنِيَ هـذَا الـهَيْكَلُ في سِتٍّ وأَرْبَعِينَ سَنَة، وتُقِيمُهُ أَنْتَ في ثَلاثَةِ أَيَّام؟". 21 أَمَّا هُوَ فَكَانَ يَتَكَلَّمُ عَلى هَيْكَلِ جَسَدِهِ. 22 ولَمَّا قَامَ مِنْ بَينِ الأَمْوَات، تَذَكَّرَ تَلامِيذُهُ كَلامَهُ ذَاك، فَآمَنُوا بِالكِتَاب، وبِالكَلِمَةِ الَّتِي قَالَهَا يَسُوع. 23 وبَيْنَمَا كَانَ يَسُوعُ في أُورَشَلِيم، في عِيدِ الفِصْح، آمَنَ بِاسْمِهِ كَثِيرُون، لأَنَّهُم رَأَوا الآيَاتِ الَّتِي كَانَ يَصْنَعُهَا. 24 أَمَّا هُوَ فَمَا كَانَ يَأْمَنُ عَلى نَفْسِهِ مِنْهُم، لأَنَّهُ كَانَ يَعْرِفُهُم جَميعًا. 25 ولا يُعْوِزُهُ شَاهِدٌ عَلى الإِنْسَان، لأَنَّهُ عَليمٌ بِمَا في الإِنْسَان .

Lecture French	01 Rejetez donc toute méchanceté, toute ruse, les hypocrisies, les jalousies et toutes les médisances ; 02 comme des enfants nouveau-nés, soyez avides du lait non dénaturé de la Parole qui vous fera grandir pour arriver au salut, 03 puisque vous avez goûté combien le Seigneur est bon. 04 Approchez-vous de lui : il est la pierre vivante rejetée par les hommes, mais choisie et précieuse devant Dieu. 05 Vous aussi, comme pierres vivantes, entrez dans la construction de la demeure spirituelle, pour devenir le sacerdoce saint et présenter des sacrifices spirituels, agréables à Dieu, par Jésus Christ. 06 En effet, il y a ceci dans l’Écriture : Je vais poser en Sion une pierre angulaire, une pierre choisie, précieuse ; celui qui met en elle sa foi ne saurait connaître la honte. 07 Ainsi donc, honneur à vous les croyants, mais, pour ceux qui refusent de croire, il est écrit : La pierre qu’ont rejetée les bâtisseurs est devenue la pierre d’angle, 08 une pierre d’achoppement, un rocher sur lequel on trébuche. Ils achoppent, ceux qui refusent d’obéir à la Parole, et c’est bien ce qui devait leur arriver. 09 Mais vous, vous êtes une descendance choisie, un sacerdoce royal, une nation sainte, un peuple destiné au salut, pour que vous annonciez les merveilles de celui qui vous a appelés des ténèbres à son admirable lumière. 10 Autrefois vous n’étiez pas un peuple, mais maintenant vous êtes le peuple de Dieu ; vous n’aviez pas obtenu miséricorde, mais maintenant vous avez obtenu miséricorde.
Evangile French	13 Comme la Pâque juive était proche, Jésus monta à Jérusalem. 14 Dans le Temple, il trouva installés les marchands de bœufs, de brebis et de colombes, et les changeurs. 15 Il fit un fouet avec des cordes, et les chassa tous du Temple, ainsi que les brebis et les bœufs ; il jeta par terre la monnaie des changeurs, renversa leurs comptoirs, 16 et dit aux marchands de colombes : « Enlevez cela d’ici. Cessez de faire de la maison de mon Père une maison de commerce. » 17 Ses disciples se rappelèrent qu’il est écrit : L’amour de ta maison fera mon tourment. 18 Des Juifs l’interpellèrent : « Quel signe peux-tu nous donner pour agir ainsi ? » 19 Jésus leur répondit : « Détruisez ce sanctuaire, et en trois jours je le relèverai. » 20 Les Juifs lui répliquèrent : « Il a fallu quarante-six ans pour bâtir ce sanctuaire, et toi, en trois jours tu le relèverais ! » 21 Mais lui parlait du sanctuaire de son corps. 22 Aussi, quand il se réveilla d’entre les morts, ses disciples se rappelèrent qu’il avait dit cela ; ils crurent à l’Écriture et à la parole que Jésus avait dite. 23 Pendant qu’il était à Jérusalem pour la fête de la Pâque, beaucoup crurent en son nom, à la vue des signes qu’il accomplissait. 24 Jésus, lui, ne se fiait pas à eux, parce qu’il les connaissait tous 25 et n’avait besoin d’aucun témoignage sur l’homme ; lui-même, en effet, connaissait ce qu’il y a dans l’homme.

Lecture English	1 * Rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, insincerity, envy, and all slander;a 2 like newborn infants, long for pure spiritual milk so that through it you may grow into salvation, 3 b for you have tasted that the Lord is good.* 4 Come to him, a living stone,* rejected by human beings but chosen and precious in the sight of God,c 5 and, like living stones, let yourselves be built* into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.d 6 For it says in scripture: “Behold, I am laying a stone in Zion, a cornerstone, chosen and precious, and whoever believes in it shall not be put to shame.”e 7 Therefore, its value is for you who have faith, but for those without faith: “The stone which the builders rejected has become the cornerstone,”f 8 and “A stone that will make people stumble, and a rock that will make them fall.” They stumble by disobeying the word, as is their destiny.g 9 * But you are “a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people of his own, so that you may announce the praises” of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.h 10 Once you were “no people” but now you are God’s people; you “had not received mercy” but now you have received mercy.i
Evangile English	13 * Since the Passover* of the Jews was near,f Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 14 * He found in the temple area those who sold oxen, sheep, and doves,* as well as the money-changers seated there.g 15 He made a whip out of cords and drove them all out of the temple area, with the sheep and oxen, and spilled the coins of the money-changers and overturned their tables, 16 and to those who sold doves he said, “Take these out of here, and stop making my Father’s house a marketplace.”h 17 * His disciples recalled the words of scripture,i “Zeal for your house will consume me.” 18 At this the Jews answered and said to him, “What sign can you show us for doing this?”j 19 Jesus answered and said to them,* k “Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up.” 20 The Jews said, “This temple has been under construction for forty-six years,* and you will raise it up in three days?” 21 But he was speaking about the temple of his body. 22 Therefore, when he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this, and they came to believe the scripture and the word Jesus had spoken.l 23 While he was in Jerusalem for the feast of Passover, many began to believe in his name when they saw the signs he was doing.m 24 But Jesus would not trust himself to them because he knew them all, 25 and did not need anyone to testify about human nature. He himself understood it well.n
